When my Ford transit’s alternator went out 12 hours before my vacation I was in quite the pinch. Fortunately, the staff at the Auto Connection helped us out and took care of the van while we were away.Not only did they fix my alternator, but they found the source of the issue and did additional testing on my computer to ensure there was no damage there. They also fixed the drainage system that caused the problem in the first place so it wouldn’t happen again.When picking up my vehicle later they showed me under the hood exactly what the issue was and what they did to fix it, so I know to look out for this in the future.Overall, very friendly, competent, and honest staff. I will definitely be giving them my business in the future!

This place is awesome!! I never talked to them in person. They took the time to tow my car in. Didn’t had to pay the towing guy since it was in service. They checked in on me while I was at work to give updates. Car needed ac hose fixed, coolant flush out, and tire rotation. All for a grand total of only $650 including towing. I’mA single gal that works two jobs so for me that’s a decent price!! Including the towing!! They even talked to my mom over the phone to make payment. They messaged me where my keys were for pick up. Very professional and I so recommend. I’ve gotten ac hose replaced before and cost was around $1,000. Also this was my first time going here as well. My brakes started grinding metal on metal randomly one morning and I had to drive back to Omaha that afternoon. Pete got me in and fixed my car for me in time to drive back home. Their pricing is higher than other places and I question their list of things that needed to be repaired. I did have them repair one of the things on the list so I could get the vehicle to another mechanic to get a second opinion, and the one thing I had them repair ended up breaking. They did offer to fix it again for free but I didnt want to risk it so I had another shop fix it. Im sure if I had an established relationship with this shop my pricing and experience would have been better.

The Auto Connection is the best repair shop Ive ever dealt with. My car had a couple of bad leaks (coolant and oil) that I needed fixed right away. I called them for a tow and they had someone to my house in less than 30 minutes to get my car. Not only that, they got my car fixed a day earlier than what they told me. Pricing was fair for the amount of work my car needed. My car has been running the best it has in a long time. They did a good job with diagnosing and repairing the issues it had. The staff were friendly over the phone and in person when I picked up. They called and provided updates on the fixes needed and when it would be done. Even texted me to check in and make sure everything was good after. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Very fast and reliable company that you can tell cares about the customer. I wont hesitate to bring my car back to them for future work/service. Definitely recommend!!

We often take our vehicles to the dealership for regular maintenance, and had a repair that would have been costly. We were very pleased. Our car broke down without warning over a weekend. We were in town to visit our kids and we needed a shop to fix the car quickly. After calling around to numerous shops, Auto Connection was able to fit us in considerably less time than the other shops. They diagnosed the problem quickly and kept us informed the whole time. I usually pick the wrong repair shop but got it right this time. The turbo and vacuum pump on my mini went out during a visit to Lincoln. The Auto Connection found the problems and quoted a price in line with prices from the internet. Pete and his mechanics fixed the mini for the estimated cost.I was pleased with the work and used the Auto Connection a second time for another repair. My mini is now being used by my granddaughter at the U of Nebraska and we will continue to use the Auto Connection for repairs.

Im so impressed with the customer service at the Auto Connection! I brought my vehicle in back in October for an oil change, tire rotation, and to diagnose a check engine light that had recently come on. They were able to diagnose the problem as a blocked catalytic converter and O2 sensor. When I came in to pick up my vehicle, Pete not only described the issues they solved, but brought me back into the shop to show me my old, blocked catalytic converter and the cracks that were in my muffler causing rattling noises. They took the extra time to get me the right O2 sensor for my Cadillac after the part they received wasnt correct. When the check engine light returned reading the same code, I brought my vehicle back in to diagnose and they were able to perform a software update that cleared the code free of charge. As a student who is new to the area, I appreciate the transparency, honesty, and thoroughness at the Auto Connection. I recommend highly.

The control arm was broken off and he let me know it was unsafe to drive, he took it in the shop that day!!! It did take a little longer than I expected, but it is fixed COMPLETELY! They were very professional and friendly! Five stars!

Wonderful place! I initially came here to have them inspect a car from a used car dealership before purchasing and they were nervous about some electrical problems it was having and recommended me one of their cars. They explained that they keep a small number of cars for sale that they have personally fixed up and vetted. I ended up purchasing a 2008 kia rio for a great price and they gave me a discount on replacing the windshield which had a crack in it. Recently i went back in due to some squealing and trouble steering, they ended up having to replace the front two tires, and align them. I brought it in Thursday morning and they said that it would likely be done in a few days but They were actually able to have it all taken care of the very next day! The people at the auto connection are nice, kind, sincere and fair. Would definitely recommend!

I went in to get my car checked because it was shaking so violently. I was literally freaking out because I thought it was gonna be at least a $300 repair. Come to find out it was just mud, dirt and ice. They fixed up my car really quickly 30 mins and even test drove it to make sure it was safe for me. The repair only cost me $125. I was on a road trip and had some issues with my car and I needed to get it fixed ASAP. Most shops apologized and and couldn’t take the car in the same day. However, Pete told me that I can bring the car over, although when I got there the garage was full with other cars. They fixed the car in the same day.Great shop and great people 👍🏻

This place is great! They worked really quickly and were very friendly and helpful. My car was originally towed in and they were very upfront about what needed fixed right away and what could wait.

The Auto Connection in Lincoln has never let me down. Their service and individualized care for customers is an ideal representation of what quality hospitality should be. Pete, the mechanic, will personally call you up to inform you about your hot rod (aka. vehicle) and the front desk lady will always make you feel welcomed and at home. They remember you by name and make a strong effort to remember your cars history. I can personally say that they will never give up on your vehicle. A few months back, my sisters car battery was continually being drained by the GPS system. THIS IS NOT MECHANICAL! Regardless, The Auto Connection worked on her cars system for multiple weeks trying a variety of different options until they got it fixed, and boy was it a story. Ive also trusted them to look after my vehicle for a month and a half while I was away in a different state! They treat you like family and I highly recommend you service your vehicle here. They answered all of my questions and were able to get me in right away. They also followed up with me after I picked my car up. Very honest and reliable people.

We were looking to get my sons car tuned up while visiting from out of town. Several places werent able to see us but The Auto Connection was able to get us right in. They were prompt with following up with the necessary recommendations for work on the car and a few hours later they were done. I was passing through Lincoln on a cross country trip and encountered transmission problems. Pete and the staff were able to get me in quickly and arranged for the transmission to be rebuilt and reinstalled in just a couple days. Everyone was friendly and professional. My sister and I have taken our vehicles here a few times to have work done and they always do a wonderful job. Its stressful trying to find a good and honest mechanic. Ive had my fair share of overpaying and paying for services I didnt need but Ive NEVER had that experience here. Theyre honest and explain whats being done. Theyre also the only mechanic Ive been to that gives you a print out with images of what needs to be serviced, why and how soon you need to address the issue. They also help take the stress out of buying a used vehicle by doing a pre-purchase inspection. Ive used this service a couple times and so glad I did. This is by far one of the best shops in town for friendly, fast, reliable and most important, affordable services.

I have taken my cars to auto connections for several years and have always experienced good outcomes. They would even take me home and pick me up when necessary, very good customer service. They have managed to keep my cars in good condition at a fair price and always on time. I appreciate their professionalism and good workmanship.

I had to go back 4 times to fix my car for the same problem over and over. Spent over 2000 before they finally got it right. They also tried to charge me for a tow even though I drove the car there. They just thought I would not see it on top of all the other expenses. Worst shop ever. I also take my oil there to get changed and they did not fill my other fluids like they were supposed to. I wouldnt take my car there but since my job makes me take my work vehicle there I had to. Now we pulled our file and found a way better shop. Now you say I wasnt at your shop? You know exactly who I am because Ive been there 4 times this month alone. We bring all our cars to get fixed there. I walked in the other day after the car broke down again 2 miles away and you said I hate you. Do you remember now?

Hey, These guys are are great! They took care of 2 of my kids Jeeps. Everyone I spoke with was courteous. They clearly communicated what the issues were and helped me understand the costs involved. Called on Tuesday. Dropped the car off on Wednesday morning. Had new brakes and serpentine belt by about 3 p.m. that afternoon. All of it done at a reasonable price. Super helpful and nice people. Really great experience. Would definitely come back in the future.

Recently I again took my car to Auto Connection for regular service, but asked them to do some overall checking to see if there were other issues that needed attention. There in fact were several items that needed attention, which they explained to me in detail. They also recommended which problems were most critical, and which could be done later. All the work I requested was done very efficiently, and I was provided with an extensive written summary for my records. As usual I was very satisfied with everything that was done, and the car continues to run great.

I went in for a wheel bearing check & replacement and got a call that my radiator reservoir was almost empty, said they would figure out why, sent me pictures and said it was my water pump. They also found that I needed a transmission flush and brake flush... My car is 7 years old and I have driven over half the country in the last year and Im very appreciative of the maintenance of my car and the kindness of the mechanics at the Auto Connection.

The brakes on my 2012 fusion were not working properly. Took it to a local shop shop in Lincoln and after It sat there for 3 weeks and paying them over $400 they said they repaired the brakes but when I started the car it had no brakes and they refused to do any additional repair. My tire fell off my car on Thursday morning on the way to work. All the tire stems were sheared right off and I could only find 2. Since my car was moving when it happened my fender bent up and ripped off in a spot. AAA suggested The Auto Connection because it was in my toeing radius and they accepted AAA. They fixed the tire, found a fender that matches perfectly and fixed the noise Id been trying to find. My car was done and ready to be picked up by 5 on Friday and cost half the price I was expecting. I will use them again!

The Auto Connection was very helpful with my car repairs, they informed me of what was necessary to fix. They included a 10% discount and were able to get my car done earlier then the estimated amount of time. When I picked up my car I noticed my maintenance required light was on, so I went back inside. They immediately had someone come out and realized that the display needed to be reset. They were apologetic that the light was on and quickly took care of the issue. Looking forward to doing business with them in the future!

Best auto shop in town! Always has lower pricing for any work that needs done. Went for an Oil Change last visit and I got a full inspection and not a charge for it. They gave me a comprehensive print out of all that they checked and with the problem areas they found they included pictures. No other place has ever done that for me. 10/10!

My brake line ruptured about two weeks after my water pump failed. The joys of owning a 2001 pickup. Auto connection was not only thorough but fast! They got me back on the road same day! I had a great experience at Auto Connection, they really took care of my car!I moved to Lincoln in July and after a month of living here my car engine just stalled out and died while driving through town. I didn’t know anyone or know what the trustworthy places in town are. I did a quick google search and found good reviews for both Auto Connection and another place in town. The other place towed for cheaper so I made the mistake of trying to save $10 and picked the other place...That place looked at my car and told me it needed a new Engine Control Module and quoted me at $1500. I had been unemployed for months due to COVID and was about to start a new job an hour away and desperately needed my car for the commute, but had hardly any savings left to pay the repair.After doing some of my own research, I decided I needed a second opinion. Thankfully my car was able to start and drive to Auto Connection so they could run diagnostics. They called me that afternoon and not only offered me a quote that was only $500ish total (that included the cost to run the diagnostics) but also answered my questions about what codes were showing up so I could read up on the issue.They completed the repairs and I haven’t had any problems since! They texted me a day or so after I picked the car up to make sure it was still running okay, and also checked in with me again about 2 months later to make sure my car was still running smoothly.I will be going to them for all my car needs from now on. Also, they are located very conveniently near University of Nebraska’s campus, so it’s a great options for students.I definitely learned not to go the cheap way to save $10... it easily could have cost me $1000 in the end! Fantastic service! Had my car towed there today. They were checking out my check engine light within a few minutes. A very short time later, they told me I was okay to drive on to Omaha, but to get the issue fixed. They didnt try to tell me it had to be fixed there, or mislead me in any way. They also took care of a very minor repair while they were at it. I was in and out, and they had lots of other cars to work on in the lot. Thank you so much. I highly recommend this business!

These guys are great! Ive been using Autoconnection for several years now, and I am very happy with their service. They are courteous and patient in explaining me (I am completely ignorant about the car mechanics) what is the problem with my car, do repairs promptly and of high quality. Last time before going to them I was at the Toyota dealership and complained about a noise in the rear of the car, and they told me there that there was nothing wrong with the car. Then I went to Autoconnection, and they identified immediately a problem with the exhaust system and fixed it promptly. Thank you so much!
