There are no words to describe how much I appreciate Vern and enjoy taking my vehicles to Acutek. Vern is professional, polite, and just an all-around wonderful human being. No hidden fees, the work that gets done is top notch, and every time I go to pay a bill, Im always amazed at how much less Vern charges than literally every other auto repair/mechanic shop Ive visited. As long as Im in Lincoln, Vern and Acutek will always be my go-to. 11/10 cannot recommend enough!

Vern is awesome! I sincerely love taking both my wifes car and my car there. Vern does a fantastic job, he is incredibly friendly, generous, and is great at getting you in to get your car worked on. The shop is welcoming and Vern is always there to answer your questions or schedule you in. His attention to detail is great and he is there to make sure your car is repaired safe and maintained. The prices are great and if you want someone to trust, trust Acutek. My wife and I have been going here for years now and we are very happy with the pricing, repairs, and consistency of good service. Im glad hes our family mechanic.

Best mechanic ever! Our car broke down in the middle of a road trip west to east and we were blessed enough to break down on the doorstep of Vern Acutek, polite, fast and affordable. He was very clear about what was broken and what wasnt and gave us options about how to fix depending on our budget. Kinda sad Im not from the area and wont have someone so professional taking care of our car anymore.

Vern is amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable and treats each vehicle as his own - meaning no service is performed that he wouldn’t do in his own vehicles. Vern was absolutely wonderful! All these other reviews are 100% accurate. My throttle body system we thought was busted, so I called and gave him the codes from my car. Other places were asking for upwards of 750$+ tax and other fees, but he saved me almost 300$! And I asked him the day of to change something else, and he said yes without any issues. I was going to wait at least a week without using my car, but he got me in and out the next morning in less than 3 hours! If you’re looking for a place to take your car, you’ve found it. Tell you friends too.

Needed repairs on brakes and a tire, needed my washer fluid pump fixed, and also needed an oil change and bulb replaced and it was all done VERY quickly and affordably. Their reception area is very neat and tidy, and they are conveniently located for me. Great service, I look forward to using them for future maintenance.

Took my wifes Volkswagen to Vern to have him fix a seal in the fire wall and he was amazing to work with. Dropped the vehicle off over night and he had it done first thing the next day. He was very precise and explained exactly what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. To me, Vern seems like an extremely trust worthy guy and isnt there to up-sell you on things that are not needed. I feel confident that I could send my wife back to Acutek without me being there which I could not say that for many other shops around town. The shop was very clean and welcoming. All around a great experience and I will use Acutek for all of my auto repairs in the future.

We recently moved to Lincoln and I shared with my friend my frustration of Walmart of how incomplete of a job they do, staining the floor of my vehicle with their boots and how long it takes them to change my oil, even when I was the only customer in line. My friend recommended me to Acutek who he has been going to the last few years.I was astonished at how quickly Vern fit me into his schedule. He was very kind and got me in quickly. Before I knew it, he had my oil changed in less than 20 minutes. He told me he looked over my vehicle and topped off all the fluids and recommended that I change my filter the next time I get an oil change. This told me that he did a complete job.I brought in my second vehicle the next day after work and he took great care of that vehicle as well. As I walked in I found him cleaning the floor in his shop (it wasnt that dirty!). He keeps the place very clean, he is very friendly and does a complete job.What floored me was what he charged me! I expected to pay a little more than Walmart due to the great service, but turns out I ended up pay less then what Walmart charges and for a better job! Very Impressed. I will take all my vehicle needs to Vern from now on!
