Best car repair experience I have ever had!! So glad I made the choice to have them tow and repair my car. I dealt with three people total and they were all incredibly easy to speak with and made the entire process smooth and worry-free.I don’t know about you, but I am intimidated with car repairs, and never felt talked down to or pressured into anything. They fixed what needed to be fixed and got me back in my car faster than I expected! I feel this is very high quality work at such a reasonable price. I will be going here for all my car repair needs in the future, and, in fact, have already scheduled another older vehicle that needs more work to be done in a few weeks.I truly could not have asked for a better experience from beginning to end. My wife and I were completing our cross country trip and after having my brakes replaced elsewhere I was surprised to get the Brake! light on my dash on our way home. Lucky for us we were less than 2 miles from Century Automotive when this happened. We pulled in and noticed quite a backlog of vehicles but Lenny said he would take a look and discovered I needed new brake lines. Not only did he repair both brake lines at a reasonable cost but he managed to deal with the metric sizing Ford only used for a few years. I highly recommend Century and would stop in Lincoln (ironically the name of our foster dog) again.

Lenny and his crew are the go to shop for everything automotive. They have always been professional, transparent and effective. These guys are REAL mechanics who actually diagnose the problem and fix vehicles rather than the kind of shops who just keep replacing parts in the hopes of figuring out whats wrong. Well worth the price of service which is always fair. A+

UPDATE: my interlock was removed and had to wait at shop since I didnt have a ride. They had a lot of cars lined up for work but they didnt keep me waiting long. When taking out the interlock they found the installer had removed a large piece of wire from my remote start and it was not working. The technician took the time to figure it out, and Im happy to say that my remote start works! I have used them twice now and walked away extremely happy with them. They have towed me twice for a very reasonable price and both times I have also gotten my car back within 24 hours. They call to talk about the issues before tearing my car apart to work on it (unlike other shops I have experienced) and the price is very pretty hard to beat. This is a personal thing but as a young women I love that they talk to me like a person and explain what’s wrong with my car instead of baby talking me and just assuming I don’t care to know about it, then just throwing an invoice at me (looking at you Hillis on south street)I will definitely be back!!

We stopped here after we ran into an issue on the highway during a cross county trip. They took the time to help us and went out of their way to make sure we were taken of. The problem with our car was addressed within the discussed timeframe and at a reasonable price. Lenny was such a great help to us and extremely knowledgeable! I dont live in the area, but if I did, this would be my go to shop.

I was treated with zero customer service, empathy, respect or concern. A third party vendor failed to properly submit a work order, and I was made to feel I was a major problem because I showed up to the scheduled appointment. To say I was treated poorly is an understatement. The owners anger with the vendor was taken out on me because I was the unlucky one standing there in front of him. When I tried to stand up for myself I was told, see you later! I will not make the mistake of choosng this business again.

The work Ive had done at Century has been done well, communicated clearly, finished on time, and priced very fairly. I appreciate having a place to trust here in Lincoln. I always grew up with my dad as my trusted auto mechanic in the family, but moved to Lincoln a few years ago and away from home. I have gone to Century for several car repair issues since moving to town. Some of the repairs have been small, some quite extensive, but Lenny has always provided great service at a fair price. Highly recommend.

While on a across country trip, we had an emergency wiring issue with our van which required a tow, diagnosis and repair. We were elated with the expertise, honesty, cost and 24 hr. convenience of this garage. When we were awaiting diagnostics on the van problem, the overall vibe reminded us of a skilled surgical center. We watched the owner, David, come out and talk honesty in a private, quiet tone with each customer. This approach created a calming to an otherwise stressful problem. Carol, the office manager, helpfully suggested sight- seeing while we waited for the van to be repaired and gave us a ride into the city. As a result, our van breakdown, turned into a great adventure on our road trip. We cant say enough good about this establishment. We only wish we could have them as our mechanics in South Carolina.

Terrible. Never quoted prices with owner before installing parts. When I went to pick up vehicle the total amount was $500 more than expected

Took my jeep here after the transmission over-heated. Flushing the fluid required a special automotive computer, which they had. The job was done well. And they even made another performance improvement recommendation/repair which made a huge difference! Thanks!

If theres one service I dont trust its a mechanic. Too many bad experiences to count. Ive been here only once but so far the first impression is great! They have a small parking lot and the location makes it slightly difficult to pull into but thats small compared to the service and how quickly they perform the work. The guys I talked to were very friendly too

This review is based solely on a single experience and specifically to having a vehicle towed to a separate shop.I heavily rely on Google reviews in chosing who I use for services. Thus when I saw the high marks, I took that as a positive indicator. Called this morning to have my daughters car towed to Fun Auto, the shop I always have my vehicles repaired. Upon arriving at the shop, the tow driver was cranking the vehicle over before unloading. At no point was there a conversation where I was asked if that would be okay or if the vehicle ran at all. Ive had other companies ask that very question to assure they wouldnt cause additional damage to the car/engine. Lastly, the driver failed to communicate with the shop owner about where to place the vehicle upon arrival. He just unloaded it and went on his way. No paperwork left either.Again, I cant comment on what job their shop will do, but I can say STAY AWAY at all costs from calling to have a tow. I see a similar review from 9 months ago about issues with towing. I shouldve taken heed.

Much more reasonably priced than a dealership, obviously, and they work around peoples’ schedules as well. In fact, their prices beat everyone else I’ve gone to in Lincoln. They have also been around a long time, which says a lot in their business; most shops don’t last as long as they have, and the reason they have is in their performance. I travel a lot for work, so I need a dependable car at all times. Century helps ease my mind by keeping both my cars in tip top shape!

I took my truck in for front end work and exhaust work. The price was fair, the job was done in a timely manner. Most importantly I feel that Lenny and Jerry are honest and knowledgeable. They are not just about the money. You can sense a passion in their work. Maybe that is why they enjoy alternative fuels and will gladly discuss that subject with anyone. I will never doubt these guys, neither should you.

They didnt fix my car

Best place in town to take any type of vehicle. The guys there know what they are doing, they are honest and upfront about everything. You will never walk in to pay your bill and not know ahead of time how much it will cost. Lenny is the best!! I take all my vehicles there and would never go anywhere else!!

Its always great finding a repair shop you can trust. I had a quote from a dealer that wanted to charge me $700 for a leaking AC line. Century Automotive found the leak and informed me I only needed 1 of the 3 parts the dealer was recommending. That along with the reduced hourly labor cost saved me over $400. Great work, affordable, and I trust them not to take advantage of me.

I was visiting from out of town. The owner returned my call on a Sunday and quickly got the repairs done so we could get back on the road. I even got a text from him later that day making sure it was going ok. Highly recommended! Very honest!

Jeep broke down outside of Omaha. Called my insurance company for a tow, they sent Century. Gary, the driver, was hilarious and really helped make a stressful situation a little easier. Had them look at it the next day, they were timely at getting back to me and helping me get my jeep back on the road. Will definitely be a repeat customer and recommend their services.

Transmission went out in our vehicle. They took the time to give us options & other possible solutions before saying we had to replace the tranny. Ultimately we ended up needing to replace the transmission but it was nice that they were willing to try some less expensive options first. Overall great experience.

I had tires put on at a big box store. A month later may vehicle started making a terrible noise. I drove straight to Century-they got me in right away, reset my tire and my car is as good as new! The service is great too!

Owner almost hit my vehicle several times while in downtown traffic. I called to let someone know. The wonderful individual (sarcasm) who answered the phone happened to be the individual driving the truck. He THOUGHT he was going to deny riding my bumper and almost hitting me until I called him out.. Not a great way to run a business.

I just experienced a century towing truck driver in a century towing vehicle tailing me and other drivers on the highway. The individual was following another vehicle very unsafely and honking several times. Very very unsafe and could harm someone especially in that large a truck at that speed

Broke down in Lincoin Nebraska, when I got it towed back to the shop they were quick to get me in. The shop was short handed that day but Lenny got me done the same day. Would highly recommend them. Good job Lenny. 👍

We were broke down by the side of the freeway and it took them awhile to arrive, but when they did, the driver did a great job of loading and securing my vehicle!

Again, the customer service really sucks. I had a timing chain installed improperly, and according to them it was one thing after another. I finally put my foot down and left. To properly re-install the timing chain was an additional 300.

Called for a tow after getting stuck in heavy snow. Driver showed up quickly and the price was reasonable.
