Do not waste your time or money with this company.We submitted an application for a property and took roughly 2 months for the company to get back to us even after leaving multiple messages with management. Well past the 7 to 10 day processing time.Only after there was a dispute filed with the credit card company did they reach out to us but that was still almost a month later.They still state that they do not owe us a refund because according to their records, they processed the application.If you are a property owner, do not waste your time. If you are a renter, save your money and go with a more competent and ethical company.

I rent from statehouse and let me tell you Im very disappointed I have been calling, emailed in regards to my rent wondering why I have to pay more money if everything is caught up with my rent. Lets not talk about the building cleaniness they send someone to clean once a year. Im very disappointed and then they want to raise the rent. They are quick to collect your money but when theres issues nobody calls back.

For anyone looking into renting from Slatehouse.. think again. My experience has been absolutely terrible and I regret renting from this company. To put all of the problems in a nut shell, this was my first apartment so I did not notice the reg flags until over time. When we first moved in, many maintenance issues (heat does not work, mold in fridge water line, outlets that don’t work, water damage, bathroom fan is broke, light switch that did not work, random charges on top of our rent) Our property manager does not respond to anything, when he does.. nothing still gets resolved, calling into slatehouse does not do you any better, they transfer you to a line that goes to voicemail every time you call. The new app charges you $40.00 to make a payment for rent. Maintenance issues do not get resolved in a timely manner, oh and they don’t do their job correctly when they come. We have been living here for 5 months.. with no heat. Slatehouse & our property manager have known since we moved in, and they still have not fixed it. Same with outlets, water damage, over charging etc.. do not rent from these people unless you want to deal with inconsiderate people!!!!

I have been trying to deal with a gentleman named Judah hoover however he does not keep his word, he said somebody will be in touch about a property Im am laking to have them manage, but the person never called I have left several voice messages on his phone and called a dozen times and still no response, currently looking for another property manager!

Worst most awful place to rent from. Bunch of slum lords that only care about themselves!!! DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

The worst in the industry, my wife filled out an application and they took $30 of the application because they never called her for an appointment and she called them and they answered. I do not recommend them !!

Danielle Nafzinger, she is literally the best landlord. I came home in a rush to grab something out of my apartment with my 4 month old. We ran up quickly to grab what I needed and then got in the car to leave after locking our door behind us. After getting my 4 month old loaded in the car and I got ready to leave I realized I left my keys.. locked in our apartment with no spare because it was also locked in the apartment because my boyfriend also left his keys inside. At this time I was freaking out and I called our landlord. She came to our rescue within minutes. I am so thankful.

Eduardo Rosado has been great coordinating with tenants and third party maintenance staff. Good customer service and great a leasing vacancies. All around 10 for Eduardo!

Working with Taylor has been a great experience. She has always been professional, friendly and attentive to all of my needs. With any issues, SlateHouse has sent out Hector their technician who has also been professional, timely and who has exhibited a vast amount of knowledge in his trade.

Stay away for the sake of your sanity and money. Check into the better business bureau please. They upcharge utilities and raise the rent illegally after you move in. They are ruthless slumlords, that take advantage or owner and renter.

Danielle is amazing. Locked myself out of my house and she came in 15 min to open my door for me!

Clara was awesome to work with! She always answered my questions and was quick to help me with the “potentials” of the property! I would recommend this property management to anyone! They are good people. Ask for Clara she is awesome!!!

Update I was able to the apartment after my wife scheduled. The apartments are very nice and remodelled and best part central air !!

Clara was a tremendous help on my previous move! She answered all my questions and worked with me through my schedule. I was very highly satisfied being referenced to Clara and I’d highly recommend her to anyone I know looking for a good place you can actually call home!

They were very helpful and polite. My sister was able to apply for a place visit it and move in all within a week time during the holidays. They are always quick to respond to any questions.

My husband and I are very pleased with Slatehouse Group. When we decided to rent our house, I was apprehensive because we would be living out of state. I am very please with how they are managing our home and Clara is very responsive to all my questions.

Our Property Manager Clara with Slatehouse Group responds to our emails, texts, and phone calls in a very timely manner. She has found a number of qualified tenants to fill vacancies, and interacts with tenants for work orders, repairs, and problem solving. She is a pleasure to work with always!

Highly recommend to avoid renting through or using Slatehouse for any of your rental needs. They are deceptive and unprofessional. I learned my lesson the hard way and should have listened to the bad reviews before even considering renting from them. Please Dont be fooled and cheated by this company. The good reviews are undoubtedly fake reviews, because there is no way anyone with any real experience in dealing with this company would ever give them anything other than one star.

We found Slatehouse Management through a google search after having gone through years of hard times finding a good property manager. We are incredibly glad we took the chance on them! They have an entire team dedicated to property management with different departments - and they all work together so well. We truly feel like we have a real estate partner now. The communication has been timely and professional; the followup has been complete and they have gone above and beyond their duty, giving us that extra mile which makes all the difference. Their promises that they made in the beginning are the same customer service they deliver today. We give you five stars, Slatehouse!

Clara is terrible! She likes to convince people to pay the application fee then say that people dont qualify for the apartments! I literally just moved to PA from another state and she has wasted alot of my time!!! Dont rent from them! Trust Me!
