Great service, in depth analysis and diagnostic, always professional, and fast turn around rate. We had our Volvo s60 using our extended warranty. They quickly diagnosed the problems and sent us pictures and videos of the problem. We are more than happy and impressed with the repairs we got and the fair prices we were quoted. My first experience with Rolf’s. Of course as we all do we go by online reviews, which are great. I have an old Boxster which needed an oil change and inspection. Upon walking in I was pleasantly surprised by the immediate customer service I experienced. Kassandra was great! 👍🏻 She answered all my questions and gave me detailed information about my car. We bring our vehicles in because we cannot or won’t perform the needed maintenance . So trust and honesty is what we hope for. They treated my old weekend car like a high end 911. More importantly, they treated me with respect. That’s all we really want... correct? Service was done quickly and professionally. Very happy with Rolf’s. I highly recommend them!

I had an emergency with my BMW where a belt blew also causing me to lose power steering. Luckily a shop i used recently to have my battery replaced was right across the street. They referred me to Rolf’s. Not being familiar with the area i was worried to have my car towed to a shop i had never dealt with personally. i haven’t even been to the shop yet, but felt confident having my car towed there because Kassandra is absolutely amazing. her customer service, knowledge and empathy was out of this world! As a foreign car owner whenever something goes wrong it’s a stressful time, especially when you lose control of your car, in an area you’re not familiar with, on a Friday night right before closing.Kassandra genuinely wants to help you and make sure you’re taken care of. I wish i could hire a staff of Kassandras! I never leave reviews but was so astonished at how I was treated, I had to share. If the maintenance service is anything like the customer service it looks like my car is in great hands!

Probably one of the nicest and most honest shops Ive ever dealt with. They were very transparent and upfront with me about everything. They do a very detailed inspection and diagnosis with pictures and advised repairs with estimated costs. Hard to find a shop that specializes in European cars thats actually decent. I went to this place for a repair estimate to replace a bad wheel bearing on my Audi S4. They wanted me to fork over $145 to $250 to diagnose a very simple to diagnose issue. The Audi dealer pulls the same stunt. Rolfs was willing to replace the bearing without doing the the diagnosis first, but they couldnt guarantee that would fix the issue. Im 90% sure that I diagnosed it properly myself, so Ill take responsibility, no problem.Many repair shops like to perform a free vehicle inspection when you take your car in. This is really nothing but a fishing expedition to find more work that they can do on your car. Ive had a LOT of parts on my car broken by repair shops screwing with things that they have no business touching in their quest to find more things to work on. Rolfs does this 50-point inspection for free, even if you dont want it. In fact, they INSIST on doing it, even if you tell them NOT to. They wont diagnose a wheel bearing issue for free, but theyll do their 50-point fishing expedition for free whether you like it or not. When I asked if we can just skip it, I was told flat-out If the car comes in here, were doing the inspection.They claimed that they have a responsibility to ensure that my car is safe when it leaves the shop and that theyre exposed to liability if it isnt. So I asked them to tell me exactly what they would be doing in their MANDATORY inspection: Check oil, check coolant level, check for all sorts of leaks, check all lights, tires and pressures, check the air filter, etc.I asked how an inoperable light could possibly expose them to liability. He couldnt come up with a valid explanation because its just nonsense. The reply I got was I dont want to argue with you. Oh, nice.They insisted on checking the engine air filter as part of their extensive fishing routine. Removing the lid from the filter box isnt a simple task. It requires disassembly of much of the plastic intake system. The cover is wedged in there tight and the plastic parts are old, brittle and very easily broken. The hole for the screw holding the intake bellows is now stripped out due to carelessness. The bellows is fragile, expensive and easily split, theres a plastic tab which engages with a rubber loop on another part... theres a HIGH RISK of breaking the plastic tab off or tearing the rubber loop. Many of the parts are super expensive. I just replaced the filter myself 2 months ago. Its just fine. They have NO business insisting that I expose MY car to unnecessary damage like this.When I explained this, what I got was Maybe this isnt the shop for you. He was SO right. I took my car to another local shop. OMG - night and day difference. There was no $145 to $250 rip-off diagnosis fee. They said theyd check the problem out for free before they installed the part. No insistence on forcing me to do anything against my will or against MY better judgment.When a shop insists on doing things that youre not comfortable with, or on trying to search for extra things that they can do on your car AFTER YOU ASK THEM NOT TO, its a bad sign. The CUSTOMER is the boss. Dont let people push you around and take advantage of you. Just take your business elsewhere.The owners reply below is deceptive. It pretends that the issue is self-diagnosis of repairs. I never had an issue with that. Then it insinuates that I had parts break because I didnt have other shops do a thorough inspection, lol. Hopeless.

This place is unbelievable.!! My wife and I bought a 2011 x5 2weeks ago, 5 days later motor goes into catastrophic failure. I contacted finance company and the dealership and was told by them that we were stuck with it. We took our BMW to the shop and the shop did a diagnostic test to confirm engine failure. I went in this morning to even the bill out and make arrangements to get the car picked up and they told me to go home and enjoy my weekend and if they were going to be checking into a few things for me possible options to get this car back on the road. I just have to say the office girls the technicians the manager of the shop are the best people that Ive ever known as far as a mechanic line I could not ask for a better place to have my vehicle in the most trustworthy people that Ive dealt with so far this place is amazing and I just want to say thank you guys.

Ive been taking my Mercedes C300 to Rolfs for the past few years and Ive been very pleased with their service. They do great work, provide excellent customer service, they have reasonable prices, and they have an excellent loyalty rewards program. I never feel like Im being ripped off. Im not one to write reviews but Rolfs Import Auto really deserves the positive feedback! I took my Mercedes to them for an oil change and 40k mile service. They did a great job and their pricing was very reasonable! I dropped it off in the morning, they drove me to work and it was ready for pick up by noon!A few weeks ago, my check engine light came on. I brought it back down to Rolfs where they diagnosed the problem. They had my car for about 2 weeks, as the issue was very labor extensive. They also had to wait on parts from Mercedes-Benz. During this time, they were great with keeping me up to date on my car. After doing my research, I found out that once again their pricing was very reasonable. The Mercedes dealer quoted me over double what they were charging me for the repairs. I worked with both John and Peter during this process and they were great to work with. Very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me as I know nothing about cars.Rolfs is a very trustworthy company! They have earned another life long customer. I wont let anyone else touch my car for now on!

Rolfs has done a great job of maintaining quality service at great rates. They are proactive, communicate clearly, and suggest how to keep care costs reasonable. They suggested a comparable and less expensive oil than I was previously running and didnt charge me for some diagnostic work which they performed. Highly recommended!

My family has been going to Rolfs for 20+ years. My father new Rolf personally as well as several of his best technicians at the time. Unfortunately, things are not the way they used to be at Rolfs now. I brought a $150,000 Mercedes Benz in to set a feature in the lighting system which required the use of STAR or a similar computer to do so. I was informed by the receptionist and the technician that you cannot do that with Mercedes. Unfortunately, both of them were wrong. I was hesitant to go to the dealership but I did and was more than happy with the outcome. Mercedes of Tacoma took care of me. The technician knew exactly what I needed and how to do it and he did it in under the time required which cost me less money in the end. The technicians at Rolfs have absolutely no idea what they are talking about and the fact that a receptionist would challenge me despite the fact that I had done considerable research and already knew what needed to be done wraps it all up for me. Rolfs is no longer a shop I or my family will ever use. We all miss Rolf. He knew what he was doing. RIP my friend.

Not every company can make customers 100% happy but I have been going to Rolfs for years since I got my X5 and every time I take my car there they are always great and kind to talk to and have always taken the best care for my car. I would not take my car anywhere else as not only are they knowledgeable, they will also always give you advice on how to handle your car the right way. They make recommendations based on what is necessary and what is not a priority and will always have your best interest in mind. If you ever need to fix your car especially for those of us with European models I would strongly suggest calling Kassandra or Jay and getting your car hooked up. I acquired an 08 Mercedes E63 with low miles earlier this year and have been dealing with some significant unplanned repairs - deferred maintenance and also manufacturers defects - what seems like non-stop. Given the age of my cars, I prefer to stick with independent shops that work with me when I cant do the work myself.The other day I heard loud growling from under the hood and knew my power steering pump was dying. I stopped by the Fife location and inquired. The next day I dropped off my car. I received a video showing what I had feared with the pump along with an overall inspection report - I appreciate that communication. Given how much car repairs cost now, I expect more detail and documentation - they delivered that. They called to discuss repairs and worked with me on containing costs - again, they delivered.Additional swag - other nice touches were a new keychain, their frequent shopper program with roadside assistance, and a coupon for a free car wash.Good job Rolfs!!

I had recently had a number of warning lights come on in my 2010 Mercedes C300. I took it in to Rolf’s in Lakewood after scheduling online the night before, something you would NEVER be able to do at the Mercedes dealership. When the mechanic tested the car, he believed he had fixed the problem by clearing out the computer, but admittedly had not found the root cause. After taking the time to talk to me, he was able to identify the problem was being caused by a tire that I had replaced without appropriately replacing all four, as is required on the 4matic models. I took the car to a tire dealer he recommended and had all four tires replaced. I have had no continuance of the problem with warning lights. Having previously always used the dealership to service the car, I am convinced Rolf’s KNOWS and CARES more about me and my car than the Dealership(s) ever have.

This place has made me a customer for life. The day I bought my car it overheated. I called Rolfs because they were the closest mechanic to where I was. The employees were polite and curterious. They stayed late and waited for the tow company to drop off my car to ensure it was secured for the night. They took care of the car and had it fixed the next day so I didnt have to go without the car all weekend. They stayed late again so I could pick up the car. Driven by how any times? Cant count.Recently my 1979 Alfa Romeo Sport Sedan decided it needed a new in-line fuel pump. Just dont find parts locally or much advice.Seeing a business sign with European automobiles and imports, might as well drop in and ask. Did notice Alfa Romeo was not listed.Turns out not into Alfa Romeos, but I was received and welcomed as if I was always a customer. This was the 1st shop to truly help me, even knowing Im not going to be a paying customer. They did a quick internet search and referencing to find me a fuel pump. Even the owner pitched in.When I final own a McLaren P1, theyll be my go to shop.

Took my 911 to rolfs on 7/10/15 got it back on 8/21/15 they hadnt done a thing to it. My car was there for a new clutch the little fat guy who is the owner said they werent really set up for that, a month and a half is a long time to finally tell me they couldnt do it so they pushed it in the back lot till I came and got it. Each time I had to have it towed. If your a person of color steer clear of thus shop
