Weve taken our cars to Ralphs for about 14 years, since moving to the area. It is wonderful to have honest, personal service from people you trust. Cindy, Tom, and the team have always done a great job for us. So while its now a 20+ minute drive to get to them, I will continue to drive past many other service shops to take our cars to Ralphs.

Brought my car into Ralph’s about a check engine light and my car was overheating. It died on me and that was the final straw. They flushed the radiator and told me they couldn’t find the leak and there was no issue. I was told that I should just come back if it persisted. We paid for the services and left. Well, it persisted. It was shortly after that my car died again, I was near a grease monkey and so I managed to get it in there. They checked the oil and told me I had blown a head gasket and the radiator fluid had leaked into the engine. So several hundred dollars later I managed to get it back down to Ralph’s, where they corroborated this and told me that this was probably from the fuel pump going out. 1800-4000 to fix or rebuild the engine, with the insight that there would be many further issues even with the fix. When I told them that I had it there previously to find and fix this exact problem, Tom(owner) told me that when they looked at it they didn’t see the mix of radiator fluid and oil at that time. Lots of defensiveness and very little empathy. I literally brought it there to fix this issue before it happened. I would say, don’t even bother taking a vehicle to this place, you would be much better off finding a real mechanic that doesn’t just pass you off like a number. I would have appreciated at least some guidance or instruction of options. Maybe they could have helped with the repair price, as it was a result of their neglect and insufficient diagnostics. I live right down the street and I will absolutely never go back. I am also going to make sure as many people as possible know of this situation.

Always have good experiences here. Friendly, honest, and knowledgeable staff. They fixed an issue with my car that two other mechanics couldnt. They have very reasonable prices. They take the time to explain whats wrong with your car in detail and will tell you if they found anything else wrong with your car but are not pushy at all to tack on extra services. Good down-to-earth place. Highly recommend.

Went in to get estimate on Water pump, estimate waste 1480, and i find out thru mechanic friends 800 max to fix. Needless to say i did not have them do the work but they charged me 48 dollars for them to tell me i need a water pump. That is what i told them It needed. I was referred by a trusted friend and neither they or i will ever go there again.

Theyve generally always been good to me, however; because of my schedule I had to go elsewhere for service and that other shop discovered that the last person to do a tire rotation (Ralphs) over-torqued my lug nuts. They showed me the bolts which exhibited textbook signs of metal deformation. I checked my records to make sure Ralphs was the location of my last tire service. It was only a $20 cost to replace the damaged and broken bolts and there is minimal incentive for the other shop to lie or fabricate this situation, therefore; I believe its reasonable to believe Ralphs did in fact over-torque the lug nuts.

Best Shop - Best Service -Honest – I have been taking my cars here for 35 years and never been disappointed! These guys are straight shooters and very good. I bought an old motor home that the former owner always had overheating problems with and had it in various shops many times to try and fix. Tom from Ralphs worked his magic and it has never ran better! Overheating problem gone. I get my tires rotated at Goodyear and told me I need all new brakes But Ralphs inspected them and told me there fine for about another 10000 miles. I cant say enough about the professionalism and experience from Ralphs Foothill Service. There are countless other stories about my great experiences with these guys. I have referred friends and family and always hear back good comments.Ask any of the customers that hang around and youll probably find theyve been customers a very long time too.

I have been going to Ralphs Foothills Service for 14 years. I worked for the United States Geological Survey and took all of our field trucks there to be serviced. I was so impressed with their level of integrity and honesty that I began taking my personal vehicles there.I now commute 100 miles a day and it is imperative that my vehicle is in optimal running condition. I have been servicing my current vehicle for the last 7 years at Ralphs Foothills Service and now have over 256,000 miles on it. Tom is as honest as they come. He will never up-sell you on parts or service you dont need and he understands that the last thing you want to do is spend a fortune on your vehicle to keep it on the road.Ralphs Foothills Service is one of the few honest places left that does great work and is dedicated to keeping their customers happy and loyal. They are a family run business and treat their customers like family.

This review is based on my interaction with an employee of Ralphs Foothills Service named David Lawrence. On 10/27/2017 David was driving a customers Ford E250 van from Ralphs to some location to have a front end alignment. David had just performed an inspection on the rear brakes and had replaced the wheel and tire for the trip to the alignment center. David admitted to police and witnesses he forgot to tighten the lug nuts and you can imagine what transpired next. The tire/wheel became a runaway projectile headed towards a busy intersection. The cars and motorcycles there were held captive by a red light and were sitting ducks. This was no small wheel assembly. I estimate the tire and rim weighed 50 + pounds and at a speed of probably 45 MPH, was a deadly projectile indeed. My car was crunched along with another vehicle. David was full of laughter having never seen such an event. The customers van was slowed to a stop, tilted at an angle, resting on the brake drum and Im sure David was full of nervous energy, hence the laughter. I doubt that Tom Anderson, owner of Ralphs, informed the client who owned the van that his vehicle was slowed to a irregular stop, scraping along on an exposed brake drum. This customer should have his van inspected for damage to this crucial suspension component. Everyone involved was extremely lucky there were no injuries. Time dragged on for the police to complete their paperwork, and after probably 90 minutes of Davids intermittent laughter, I was on my way thinking I hope this moron was covered with a valid insurance policy. He was, thanks to Tom, someone who seems to be a stand up guy, responsible for the damage his employees cause. I know accidents happen, people get in a hurry and mistakes are made. I would however beware of this repair shop. There are many choices in the Denver Metro area, and unless you know for sure that Davids work will be closely monitored, Id choose another repair shop for your needs.Don Mattingly

This shop is very timely, responsive and ethical! I have used them for a few years now and they have worked on many of my vehicles. The owners, employees and their puppy are very friendly! I highly recommend them! Oh... and they stand behind their work! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Last week my car would not start and I was at work. I had my car towed to Ralphs and Tom was so kind and understanding. My car was fixed and I was back on the road the next day. They were so honest and upfront about the repairs and costs. Thank you Tom and Crew for the great experience.

I have been a customer of Toms (and before him his father Ralph) for approximately 45 years. Tom and his crew are the very best outfit in Denver for mechanical service and repair, and as honest as the day is long! I have moved away from the neighborhood, and now I drive one-way about 40 miles rather than trust my cars to anyone else. I really cant say enough about how pleased I have been and you will be by Toms service.

Brought in a 98 Mazda truck my recently deceased brother owned to fix a check engine light so I could sell it for the estate. Secretary didnt offer any condoloances but that was not a problem, problem was I said to please just run your 100.00 diagnostic on it and call me. They felt free to install a 12.00 fuel filter and tell me the fuel pump is bad even though it runs fine. They charged me 120.00 for the fuel filter I didnt approve and the truck doesnt run any different, no old part offered. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!

The undercarriage of my car was hanging off and I couldnt get under there to put it back up so I took my car here. They charged me $20 to smooth out some dents and replace the missing nut - pretty good price I suppose. They did it in less than 30 minutes and there was an adorable dog in the waiting room.

I have been Going to Ralphs for years and Tom, Cindy and the rest of the shop crew are always so great. Theyre incredible people, kind, hard-working, honest and treat you and your cars right. I highly recommend them : )

I bought a 2003 pick up a few months earlier & had my vehicle towed to Ralphs twice because the radiator reservoir was boiling! I filmed it to show him and he wouldn’t even look at the proof and said I can’t get it to do that so there’s nothing wrong with your truck. When it happened again the next day I had it towed back there again since he had already supposedly done the diagnostic work on it which I had paid for. Again he said he couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it so he didn’t believe there was an issue with it. I paid the bill again wasting almost $300 in 2 days and I drove a half block before the engine light went on so I went right back. With his know it all attitude he wouldn’t even look up at me and called two boys over to try to figure out how to do diagnostics in the parking lot(which they were having trouble figuring out how to work the machine). In the meantime a third boy came out of the bay with parts in his hand and said I think these parts belong to that truck(oh duh!) The 3 boys tried several different times to jam these parts back onto my truck engine.I ended up driving to a real mechanic, and he said the radiator was so clogged that there is no air flow going through to the engine and even Stevie wonder could’ve pointed it out to this jerk. The original owner of Ralphs spent 40 years building a good reputation, so the jerk in charge must’ve inherited it so he could run it into the ground. Beware!

Tom, Cindy & crew are really great. When it comes to auto repair what I value most is honesty and integrity and they get a 10/10 in this category.

I took my 07 F150 into this shop after reading about their great reputation in the area. I had been fighting a misfire issue and given up. They took on a very time consuming and frustrating job but they were able to diagnose the issue and repair my truck quickly, they kept the bill really fair in my opinion too. I have never found a shop that I feel went above and beyond like these guys did for me. They won a customer with my first experience, I will definitely be back. These guys are pros.

They found out was wrong, explained it to us, how much and how long it would take to fix it. It was going to be about 5 hours, so they took us home, we lived near by, and came back to get us when the car was done.
