She recently replaced some watch batteries for me, and on the way over to pick them up I called to ask about a gift for my niece - did not have a huge budget for this. By the time I got there, she had pulled several items to show and helped me select the right one, offering to gift wrap as well. There were a lot of things up in the air, life was busy and hectic.We visited probably 4 or 5 different well-known jewelry shops in that time. As a fairly stereotypical male, the visits to these shops were... Well, for me, boring. None of the salespeople proved to be helpful to myself nor my wife beyond ring sizing. Both of us are generally practical people who value substance over flash, so we had not really considered what kind of styles would fit us.The difference with Dynamic Designs was Jeanette asked questions and listened to our answers. During what would normally be a simple getting to know you conversation, Jeanette was building up the information to approximate styles we might enjoy. Usually, when we said we didnt know what we wanted, the salespeople would say Well, just look around and let me know.The Dynamic Designs experience was the total opposite. I explained that I didnt want anything gaudy, but I didnt want anything too boring or typical either. Turns out were both my wife and myself are fans of the vintage look. Jeanette initially provided me with probably 30-40 options to choose from, with more waiting in the wings if I didnt find anything I liked. This was a far cry from the 5-8 options and a magazine I was given elsewhere, which for my tastes were either too basic or had too much bling. She asked questions about my life and work, and educated me on what materials might be a good fit for my lifestyle. I can be clumsy and forgetful at times so I prefer things to be low maintenance. She recommended Tungsten, as its a strong metal (read: can survive the garbage disposal, thats the clumsy part) and doesnt require frequent polishing.I came in with almost no opinion or expectation and left with a new appreciation for jewelry and what I felt like was a style all my own. There wasnt a single moment that I felt pressured to buy or make a decision. I assumed we would make 2 or 3 appointments. We walked out after the first visit completely satisfied and ready for the wedding!Ive never really envisioned myself as a life long customer of any business, but Dynamic Designs is the only place I can imagine going to for jewelry in the future.

I dropped of a silver ring that I have had for 10 years that got bent out of shape when it was stepped on. The ring wasnt of any real value but was very sentimental so it is wonderful to see it brought back to life. It looks as good as new and I havent seen it this shiny in years.

Jeanette designed and created my beautiful wedding ring for me many years ago. When the marriage was over she repurposed the gold and stones into two new rings for me (a Mothers ring and a pinky ring). I still treasure them and her quality and skill.

The most fun amazing part of having a personal jeweler is being able to walk in and tell her i want a bracelet for this reason and she starts pulling ideas out. That was my experience yesterday.
