I am a current resident at The 101, and I have lived here for the past 4 years. Life at The 101 has been by far the best apartment experience that i’ve had.The location is a huge selling point, but by far the best part of living here is the staff and management of the building. Dee is the building manager, and Joe is the head of maintenance.Between the two of them, the building is kept well-maintained, peaceful, and secure.Maintenance requests (even minor ones) are handled immediately, with no delay. Common areas like hallways and trash rooms, are kept clean. Joe clearly takes pride in making sure that every aspect of the building runs smoothly.Dee is an amazing manager who always goes above and beyond to exceed all expectations. She is resourceful, energetic, and observant. She works hard to make life at The 101 fun and problem free!

I moved into the 101 two years ago and have enjoyed every minute in my home. The views from the Rooftop are amazing and serene. The complex is quiet, clean and very well managed. My work orders entered via a resident portal are convenient and attended to immediately. However, the best part of my experience is the staff, Dee. She is always very responsive to all questions and concerns and is just the most kind-hearted, pleasant and helpful person who goes out of her way to help with even the smallest requests. I would highly recommend the 101 to anyone wanting to live in downtown Kirkland.

Looked at the 101 with my daughter for her first apartment out of college. Wonderful place. The manager was gracious and very helpful. The apartment was gorgeous. Great layout with a huge walkin closet that not only housed the washer and dryer but had super storage with a closet bar for clothes and lots of shelf space. The views were spectacular both from the bedroom and the living room. The living, dining and kitchen were non carpet which only makes sense. Why some apartments have carpet in the area that you would put a table to eat on is beyond me. The rooftop was even nicer than the pictures on the website and the location is to die for if you are looking for urban living. Security was great if that is a concern. In addition the kitchen island had an area for bar stool eating and was on wheels so you could easily move it to the corner and create a much larger space if you wanted to entertain guest.The price was reasonable for the amenities and anyone interested in urban living should take the time to check it out. My daughter ended up elsewhere but only because she decided she wanted more trees.

I have lived at the 101 for about a year and a half and have been thrilled with my experience! Everyone that I have worked with is excellent and friendly. They love pets which is a plus for me and my yorkie :) The location can not be beat in my opinion. If you are going to live in Kirkland and want to soak in everything this cute little town has to offer... live at the 101!!

We have lived in the 101 for half a year. For us this has been a wonderful place to live. All the staff are very capable and friendly, especially to pets, and quick to respond to any issue that may arise. The building is well maintained. It is about as quiet as you could expect, being situated at one of the busiest intersections in downtown Kirkland. We have not had significant issues with noise.And then there is the location. You cannot get any better. Restaurants, transit, theaters, KC library, parks, and numerous activities are literally just steps away. We particularly enjoy gelato at Sirena on Park street and taking in a few innings of baseball at the downtown ball field. For us downtown Kirkland is a great place to live.Last but certainly no least many apartments have wonderful views. Some spectacular.

Excellent! I sold my home on Lake Sammamish and moved to the 101 for a change, It was the best decision i could have made,, The staff are wonderful and very helpful. Cant beat the location! I walk my 19 year old Jack Russell Bella across the street to the marina park and its the high light of her day, she loves running in the grass. I would recommend the 101 to anyone! I have been very happy here.I tried to think of a negative and nothing came to mind.

The 101 Apartments had their address changed on 2/7/2014 due to Main St. being extended across Kirkland Avenue to Main St. South to accommodate a new commercial building behind the 101 Apartments. The correct address is now 11 Main St. South.

My lease is for 4 months, and I have been living here for 6 weeks. I would have left this apt in the first week if there were no penalty as the rent of 3 months. In short, the apt is great except one critical disadvantage --- too much noise from outside during MIDNIGHTs and mornings, which makes me hard to sleep well. In midnight around 3am, there would be a truck staying around the apt, and the obvious noise will wake me and my wife up a few (1-3) times in a week. In each day of the week (maybe except Sunday), a trash truck would come around 6:40am, and another trash truck would come around 7:30am (I do not know if they are the same trash truck). The noise made by the trash track is even more obvious, so I cannot sleep after 6:40am. The experience would be like that, you have an oncall on 3am, and then two oncalls on 6am and 7am. I talked several times with my rent apt, but they cannot do anything for me. One thing I need to clarify is that, I do not believe that I am more sensitive to noise than other human beings. The one star is for the trash trucks and other trucks around the apt...My reply to the reply of the apt owner: thank you for the reply. However, when we asked if we could move out due to the noise (within the first month), the staff only mentioned the 3 months penalty, not a word about the waive.

We toured this place and the agent (Dee) was professional and helpful.
