Thompson Awning did a great job on my new awning.They were very polite, through, and expedite.My new awning is installed and it looks great!And Thompson was less expensive than others.

Started off great they came and did the awning. After the the first rain it leaked bad. They came back out and determined the material wasn’t coated with the waterproof coating. How? They came back out and coated it several weeks after we made the complaint. Thought it had fixed it but after another rain it leaked again. We have sent emails and spoke with the owner and he said he would be sending someone out to fix the issue and we have not seen them. I would hold final payment until after the first good rain to see if the awning leaks.

STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! Very unprofessional. I was given the displeasure of dealing with Brad who was supposedly a senior sales person. His lack of timely communication began my issues with this company. I had to contact him repeatedly just to get him to answer basic questions for my quote. Once I finally placed my order, it was wrong. He put the order in for the wrong awning...an awning I didnt even ask him to quote. They did absolutely nothing to rectify their error. In fact, he became incredibly belligerent and unprofessional once I pointed out his error that he refused to own. Just a very unpleasant experience and customer service and accuracy certainly isnt something they strive for. Go somewhere else...I sure will! And as an update, when he read my review, he threatened to take legal action. Really? Since when is it illegal to give your opinion on a public forum? Good luck with that.

This review may be a little late but only because we need new cover for the awning that was put up several years ago by Thompson Awning. We have a rather large deck on the back of our home that faces west and gets all of the afternoon sun. It got rather hot out there. especially in the summer months. It also let the sun through our large glass doors into the house, heating the house and raising the cooling bill during the summer. We did not want to build a complete enclosure but wanted to take advantage of the outdoors. The folks from Thomspon Awning came out and discussed our needs...we ended up with a sturdy aluminum frame over the deck covered by a very sturdy, weatherproof material that has kept put the sun and rain for several years and also lowered our electric bill during the summer. It does need to be replaced now and we will be calling Thompson Awning to do that in the next few weeks. Very satisfied customers

Terrible. Contacted them several times and no return calls after speaking to several people. I wouldnt even give them 1 star....would not recommend.

If looking for retractable screens, stay away from a company that deals with Sunesta. Also go with a company that does screens only unless you have months to wait on completion and have months to wait on any warranty work that shouldnt have happened within 6 months!!! Not happy with this company- dealer blames factory, factory blames dealer-who do you believe???
