I have been hearing about this company on the radio for a while, (I love their commercials), but never needed help with anything. That was until we had a major issue with sewage backing up inside our house! Not a fun experience, I promise. I called Duck Duck Rooter on a Friday morning and by 3pm the same day they had two guys at my house with the cutest yellow truck Ive ever seen. I guess we were overdue to have our tanks pumped, plus our septic pump had stopped working. They had another tech come to replace it the same day as well. Honestly, I could not believe just how great they were...and the pricing was very fair! (We certainly would have paid more given the circumstances). Everything from the first call to completion was perfect! They had our toilets working better than new by 6pm, just in time before our family arrived from out of town for the weekend. THANK YOU DUCK DUCK ROOTER FOR SAVING THE DAY! Id give you 10 Stars if Google allowed it. Finally, a company who backs up everything they say...and more in their advertising!

We called every single place in Jacksonville who allegedly listed that they provided 24/7 service. Duck Duck Rooter was the only company that answered the phone and was able to come out at 8PM and help us out with our sewage. We weren’t able to use the toilets beforehand and thank you to Mr. (Red head) Mike Jones for coming to out to us for quickly and professionally fixing our problem. We have 30+ people coming tomorrow morning for a birthday party and we would have a major problem if Mike didn’t come out to save the day! 5 stars all day for service! Thank you so much!

I called around 10am to have my septic pumped due to an emergency, we were expecting them to be out between 1 and 6pm. I received a call around 10:40 saying they were on their way and expected to be at my house around 11. Mark and AJ showed up when they said they would. Friendly guys. They got right to work. From beginning to end I had the best experience with this amazing company! Filled out contact form late Saturday night, Buddy Called me Sunday morning and had Jonathan out to us by 10am to check out the septic system to see what needed to be done. He quickly diagnosed the issue, thankfully was not as bad as we feared, and we were able to arrange for a follow up visit and service the following day. They came out Monday called 15 minutes both times before arriving. Completed service and fair pricing. Everyone I dealt with was personable, professional and extremely competent. I contacted this company back on 10/26/2020 as of 1/29/21 my new septic system is installed. When I first contacted duck duck they sent out a sales rep and thats just what he was a sales man. said the whole process would take a month. There was no contact of when things were going to happen people just showed up. here is what to expect if thinking about this company. every employee that shows up to your house will be amazing with the exception of the sales rep. After spending $13,500 I know have to replace my side gate, pressure wash my house and replace grass in the front yard and back. they did lay seed but the birds ate that the first day.

I called Duck Duck Rooter with regards to a clogged washing machine drain. The response time was fantastic and the folks that responded were even better. Given how difficult it is for many businesses these days to get and keep qualified folks, I was shocked they were able to respond to my request within 24 hours. Robert (plumber) called us when he was on his way. Upon arrival, he and his partner were very professional, helpful, and friendly. Our septic system failed early Sunday night. Duck Duck called us belabor their office was opened to set up to drain our system. They crew arrived, on time, as promised. My husband was very impressed with how informative they were. The mini fun care package was nice too. We called many many companies with no response, which was expected, even with the 24/7 emergency numbers. Duck duck was the only one who responded.

I called a plumber and Robert showed up. Within 10 seconds of stepping out of his truck he diagnosed the problem and fixed it in maybe 20 minutes. He was so quick I was shocked, I had been trying to fix that drain for hours. Best part of all, it didnt cost hardly as much as I was worried.

UPDATE 7/20:Duck Duck Rooter came out yesterday and quickly discovered that our septic pump was not pumping because the float switch was broken. They replaced the pump and now the septic system is working well.The tech and I examined the drain field and found the blow outs. They were dry and apparently had not blown for awhile. The tech told me they were caused by roots from trees on the neighboring property. I cut the roots away from the mound and will find a way to keep them from infiltrating in the future.Before they left they covered the septic tank and the dosing tank with dirt and spread grass seed.I appreciate that the owners took my original review here seriously and took the necessary steps to rectify the situation. They have also apologized for what the original pumping tech told me and have said that theyve now talked to their pumpers about this.UPDATE 7/17:One of the owners did reach out to me and did a much better job of explaining what might be happening. He wants to send someone out to take a closer look so he can give me a more definitive explanation. He also apologized for not recovering the tank lid with dirt/sod and said he will send someone out to take care of that.Ill keep updating this review as things progress.ORIGINAL POST:They pumped out our septic tank last week. The tech on site called me to say the septic system had major problems. One of the problems, he said, was that the septic tank was never connected to the dosing tank, which I know for a fact is wrong because I was there when the dosing tank was installed. Also, this system has been working as is for over 10 years and Ive had other companies pump the tank several times during those 10 years; none of those other companies mentioned any problems. He also said that the drain field had a blow out. How can the drain field be blowing out if its not connected to the septic tank?, I asked. He couldnt answer that. He said hed have someone from their company call me and set up an on site evaluation.This week I called them to find out if someone could explain to me what the tech was talking about. They just read the techs notes to me and arranged for an on site evaluation. We discussed the scheduling of the evaluation over several phone calls, but it wasnt until yesterday that someone told me the evaluation was going to cost $625. Had they mentioned this sooner we wouldnt have needed to have several phone calls to schedule the evaluation, I would have given up on them much sooner.Finally, the tech who did the pumping did not recover the tank lid with dirt/sod when he was done; every other company that pumped the tank always put it back the way they found it.

Cost more then others, but were able to come same day. pumped the septic tank quickly and answered questions i had.i would use them again in the future.

We have a long, narrow 2 acre lot and the tank that needed pumping is probably 800 to 900 feet from the street. The large pump truck was unable to fit down my driveway which has a left turn followed immediately by a right turn between a mobile home and a shed which are both close to the driveway and the truck was to long to navigate through the turns. The guys were very patient and gave it a good try before deciding that we would need to reschedule the pump out when a smaller truck was available.Thankfully a neighbor with a much straighter driveway made it home before the guys left and they were able to use his driveway to get the job done. Yeah!

I called Duck Duck for a Septic Tank Dump. They were very pleasant & I was able to get an appointment quickly. The guys called 30 minutes before arriving and were spot on in timing! So I called out another company for issues with water hammer in my bathroom pipes. This guy got here and told me it would cost $2000.00 to repair and that someone else would have to do it because he was to big to get in my attic. After recently buying a house I have had to call Duck Duck Rooter several times because of plumbing issues. They were always able to schedule quickly and come out quickly. They are even available on weekends.

Pumped septic tank out. After the work the workers made sure they put the tops back on the septic tank and put the water holes back in place. They both were very professional.

The alarm on my sump pump went off late one afternoon and the next morning I called Duck Duck Rooter. Their technician, Randy, was there 2 hours later. He quickly uncovered the tank and saw the problem was a broken PVC outlet pipe at the connection to the pump. He could have just as easily told me I needed a new pump for $700-$800 and I would not have known the difference. Instead he was completely honest, repaired all the piping, checked out the pump and had the whole system running an hour and a half later. Bill was very reasonable. Great company, responsive and professional.

In short.. had no interest in my septic system & the condition it was in.. no inspection.. no ground probing.. no real experience/recommendations.. sole intent was to replace my tank (quoted up to 8K).. in the end it was a $48 dollar pump housing lid.. luckily I had a GREAT septic inspector who tipped me off. Do your homework people.. Today’s America wants to replace your system vice simple repair. Unforgivable service by my standard!! May 2021..

Called to get a quote to replace my drain field. They were very quick to send someone out to my house. However, instead of a quote, all I could get out of Jason was how many of these they have done and do every week. The only figure he would give me was $950 for the permit and Inspection, however that did not include the pump out or several other items that ALL the other contractors included for less! I told him I needed something in writing, Have not heard back yet!

I called my normal septic tank service for a pump out only to find out that they no longer provided that service. I was so stressed that I was going to have to go out and find someone on my own. I went out to the internet and checked the top Septic Tank Co and read their reviews. Duck Duck Rooter was #1 . However sometime that does not always mean everything so I went onto Angies list and found they came highly recommended. I can see why. I requested a quote within 15 minutes I was contacted by a Lia given a quote which I accepted. She said she could have someone out within the hour because she has someone out in my area. I was thrilled even though it was not an emergency.The 2 gentlemen that came out were very nice did the job . Had a fewrecommendations. Were done within an hour.
