This office has been under new management since 2014. The agents are friendly and willing to work hard for their clients. I decided to work here because the company culture was inspiring. Not sure who the previous commenter was having trouble with but I dont believe it to be an issue now under the new management.

Scott Nicholson: A very poor representative of his company. When we negotiating buying a home here in JAX, he preferred confrontation vs negotiation. He seemed content in using bullying and shaming as his driving factor through the entire process. He consistently sabotaged the transaction by being deceptive and derogatory in his dealings, emails and text messages. By his own admission, he, the sellers and the agency were “all in agreement”, so they were obviously all complicit in this process. How could this company play a part in the obvious deceit going on here? A very sad state of affairs at Century 21 Atkins. Scott’s major driving factor was not running a smooth transaction, but forwarding his own agenda (trying to look good to the boss?). His texts and emails were completely condescending and antagonistic to the buyers and the buyer’s agent. I’ve never experienced a real estate agent as rude, deceptive and confrontational as this guy (especially deceptive – he continuously tried to mislead the buyers - what a liar!). And professional? I think not. Ethical? Far from it. After repeated corrections on the negotiation process, he was still purposely deceptive, right down to the closing date. It seemed as though he thought lying to the buyers and their agent would speed the process along. This agent and his overseers are prime candidates for reporting to the Real Estate Ethics board. But their policy offers no accountability anywhere in that process! Any offenders are assigned sensitivity training – what a crock!Coming from out of state we, at one point, wondered to ourselves if this is how Florida welcomes new residents. This entire process was a nightmare and this agent “Scott” was a real antagonist. I can’t believe the agency he represents (Century 21 Atkins) lets him get away with this type of unprofessional behavior. I would advise any new potential home owners to JAX please, please, please steer clear of this agency. ANY OTHER real estate agency in town will treat their client better.
