This is truly the worst realty places to rent from. I had numerous problems with my rental and they were not corrected. I had a draft in my door causing bugs to come in my house. It was disgusting. It took them forever to have someone out there who told me the door needed to be replaced, but then they would not replace it. It was an awful experience and I would never recommend someone to rent from them. They dont want to fix anything. Inspection was worse. You can tell they are greedy and try to get as much out of your deposit as they can. They were literally rubbing their fingers on the top of the door seal to check for dirt. It was ridiculous.

We are a military family and have had numerous Realty companies that we have used over the years. La Rue Hambrick Realty by far is the best Rental Agency we have ever used. We have lived in one of their properties for almost 2 years and have never had a problem. I have found that every time we have had an issue with maintenance, one call is all it takes and problem solved. We recently lost our heat and we called and within a day they had someone at our house and they even brought heaters for us to use until the heat was fixed. Mrs. Hambrick called us several times to check to make sure all was being done and if we needed anything. They have gone out of their way to help us and are easy to work with. I would highly recommend using them for all your housing needs whether it be a rental or purchasing. Mrs. LaRue Hambrick and her staff are not only professional but they are professionals with a heart. They truly care about their renters and their properties and it shows in all they do!!

Maybe the worst slum lord in Jacksonville. Ceiling dripped every rainfall for our entire lease, which they were well aware of as we called each time. Repairmen told us and them that roof needed to be replaced but they would only consent to patches. Ceiling would fall in chunks and after a year we had had enough. Finally, the day we moved out at the end of our lease, the property manager schedules the roof to be replaced. No warning, no phone call. Couldnt access either front or back door and roofers wouldnt reschedule. They will not do any cosmetic work fo you to move in (like, no fresh paint, no new carpeting, no working blinds) but will nickel and dime you upon move out inspection. I replaced 14 sets of blinds in our rental. I repeatedly asked if they could replace the worn out carpeting that was stained, ripped/torn, dirty and awful looking (the house has carpeting from 1970) and the property manager has the nerve to tell us after we paid to have it cleaned upon move out that it looks dirty. Well no kidding, its well over 40 years old. Thankfully I took pictures of before and after and I cleaned it 6 times while we lived there and it looks significantly better than when we moved in. Be warned, they will charge YOU to update their run down houses when you move out rather than spend the money updating their properties.

The owner Mrs. LaRue was extremely rude on multiple occasions. There was a miscommunication and misunderstanding about when the lease was to be signed, and instead of letting me explain, continuously cut me off and then called me messy for having 2 jobs and not being able to drop everything to be there. The receptionist and gentleman that work for her are very nice, LaRue herself though was disrespectful.

This Realty company will find you a great place at a more than reasonable price! Theyve been in this business locally for over 30 years and have the knowledge and expertise to get you in where you fit in. My family and I have been back and forth between Lejeune and other duty stations for over 20 years and every single time weve been back, weve always gotten the service and attention we hoped for.

LaRue Hambrick has been an excellent company. The staff are quite professional and willing to help. Highly recommend!!!!

Ms. Larue is super nice. She said shes been at it for like 50 years. Every time I needed repairs she handled it in a timely manner within reason. And she never complained when I was late with rent. However... It is a little irritating bad you can only pay rent with a money order or cash at the office. But almost everyone that she works with is as old as she is so I didnt expect them to be with the times anyway.

They are very understanding people to rent from. Always so friendly. Thanks!!!

Great Realty Company! Always willing to go above and beyond to find you the home you are looking for!

This is the worst realty agency anyone could possibly rent from. Larue greets you with a rude demeanor and tries to make herself seem superior (she is never wrong). She does this as she speaks to you as a child. Many problems remained unfixed, many of which never reached the land lords ear. For example we have two infants in our home and the AC went out in our home, it took many days to contact the agency and many more to actually get someone there to fix it. Her solution was for us to come to her home instead of solving the problem. Most major issues were only resolved because we had to call numerous times. Save yourself time, money and headache by not renting from this agency.

She says one thing then will tell you something else, she will waste your time and not care. She told me the owner wouldnt allow pets, but I found someome who new the owner. They said hes rented that place before to people with more Pets then me. So in tern she broke her own agreement saying all people are treated the same. Shes a liar, scam and many more.

OMG!! All of you are telling the truth!! LA RUE HAMBRICK REALTY IS THE WORST EVER!!! THEY MADE ME NEVER WANT TO RENT AGAIN. LARUE HERSELF HIS A VERY RUDE INDIVIDUAL, WHO DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO TALK TO HER TENANTS. HER PROPERTY MANGAGER SUCKS AT HER JOB, WE WENT A MONTH AND A HALF WITHOUT AC FOR THE SUMMER MONTHS BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO HELP US. WE MOVED OUT CLEANED THE HOUSE TOP TO BOTTOM AND THEY SAY WE STILL OWE THEM MONEY!! THE WORST EVER!! THEY WILL BLAME YOU FOR EVERYTHING THAT GOES WRONG IN THE HOUSE.UGH PLEASE RENT FROM SOMEONE ELSE
