I have used Ms. Cindy’s a couple of times now for military uniforms. She does an excellent job, and has a fast turn around. She has been very helpful making name tapes and getting everything in compliance. I drive 90 minutes one way to use this business and will continue to do so.

If you are not getting something done that involves the Military it will never get done! Yes Im sure the owner is going to reply to this review by saying that she had 5000 masks to make for the Military but lying to customers will never be beneficial to a business! She has been using this excuse for years! Look at the past reviews!

This company is simply amazing. When I went to the BX looking for my favorite alterations lady, she wasn’t there anymore. After searching the web, I found her here in the local area. I went to her and asked if she could work 3 suits for me. Could she have them ready in a week? She said no problem. They were finished, and one of them I used for a wedding two days later. Fit perfectly. This amazing woman has years and years of experience behind her... You cannot go wrong when you trust her with your alteration needs. Thank you Ms. Cindy! Oh, and by the way, I will be bringing you more work today.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!In one of my visits, I was confused about a payment but I assumed it was all worked out after it was explained to me where I was wrong. I sincerely apologized and thought all was well before leaving. However on my last visit I was treated with such utter disrespect that I was actually left in tears by the cold and uncaring Ms. Cindys attitude. I asked why I was treated in such a manner and I was told by the kind daughter, that Ms. Cindy was under pressure. So is that any reason why I should be treated with such utter disrespect? Not only that, but the seems/hems on my ladies tops were completely and utterly crooked, ranging from a quarter inch to 1 inch, difference from the bottom of the hem, with bunched upped material in one place. Ive never ever seen such crooked sewing in all my life. Maybe it was done intentionally, for my previous payment misunderstanding or Ms. Cindy is truly not capable of sewing a straight seem/hem IF she is under pressure? I dont know, but I will never ever return there but wish Ms. Cindy and her daughter all the best, regardless, and she might consider hiring help if she is under pressure with so much work. I had to wait apprx. 3 weeks for two ladies tops to be hemmed, so its obvious that she needs to hire an assistant to help with the huge work load. There is a good Alterations shop on East Kiehl in Sherwood not far from Hwy 107, next to Bills Vacuum Shop.

I think good customer service practice should involve telling a customer that the only employee able to do a certain part of the alterations, would be gone for a week. The pregnant woman was extremely rude and should learn to control her facial expressions along with her tone.

An amazing lady very knowledgeable, courteous and goes the extra step to get make her customers happy even with last minute requests. I would give her a solid ten stars. Dont go to the BX crappy craftmanship and rude, for they believe they are your only option. I appreciate this company.

I rate this business a 1 Star. I dropped off a dress that was for my birthday dinner (which is today 2/23/19) on 2/14/19. It was to be picked up by 2/20/19. When i dropped it off i asked if that will be enough time. She said it would and she would send me a text message when she was done. 2/20/19 came and went. Yesterday (2/22/19), i called her to see where she was on the dress, and she told me that “i just started working on it today . I had a service man bring in a jacket that he needed done for a funeral. So I’m just now getting to it. I should be done in the next 45 minutes.” I said okay. That conversation was around 2 Pm. Her store hours are posted as closing at 6 pm M-F. I thought she may have needed extra time so went there at 530 pm expecting to pick up. Instead, the shop was closed and no one was there. So i decided to come back the next morning, assuming that she would be finished. I get there this today around noon (2/23/19) , and she has not even started on my dress. Like literally has not done one thing on the dress. She said “i had a military woman bring in a skirt that she needed for a funeral today”. Even though yesterday she told me that she was working on it “ right now.That is about the same story she gave yesterday...except it was a suit jacket.Ultimately i asked for my dress back. Today is my birthday dinner and there is no faith that she would’ve been done by her closing time (4 pm) today.Here is my issue, if military personnels clothing takes priority over civilians clothing...she should say that up front. That way, i have a choice of waiting or going somewhere else, a head of time. If by 2/20 (my original pick up date) she knew that she was behind...she should have called me. That way i could have had time to try and find some one else to alter the dress. Now it is my birthday dinner and i am having to figure out what to do for my dress tonight. This lady kept my dress for over a week and never even started working on it. Not one bit. So at best i can say she is unreliable and dishonest for a civilians clothing. If you are a military personal, she may be great for you since she will prioritize your clothing....but us “civilians”, you may want to pass on her and find someone else. Or risk ending up in the same situation as i did.

Super fast, expert service! Ms. Cindy has done a number of alterations and sewing jobs for my military uniforms and civilian clothes and the quality is always top-notch. 100% recommend her for alterations and other sewing jobs done right the first time!

First of all DO NOT go to the Bx for your alterations. Unless of course you prefer late, poor workmanship and complete rude behavior for your hard earned dollar. Ms. Cindy is the best in town . Period. The price is better, the service is astronomically better, and no more waiting a week for a simple uniform stripes and badges addition. I dropped of a large order of 4 complete uniforms with additional alterations to be made and was told to pick it up in 1 day! Oh and that one day was Saturday which isnt available elsewhere. I could go on and on, bottom line...go here for all your alteration needs. Now.

I had six skirts that needed waist adjustments, I went to Mrs. Cindy Sewing Room since I had used her previously on LRAFB when she used to work there, and she always did a great job on my husband’s uniforms. So, I was glad to hear she had her own place now since there’s not many seamstresses in Jacksonville, AR. I went to her on Monday, 7/30/2018 to drop off the skirts and she gave me the receipt stating that my pick up date will be on Monday 8/6/2018 so I went to her on the pickup date and she was like “Sorry, I got tight up with Honor Guard uniforms” so I was ok it’s understandable I went the next day, now she’s already late on her job due promised to be completed in a week and she was like “they’re not ready yet” I got tight up, I will stay until the end of the day and they’re be ready tomorrow” now it’s Wednesday I went there and she was like “Sorry I got tight up with deployment uniforms” I’ve been nice about it, but really come she should have already got it done in the time promised and if she was late on Monday she should’ve have it done on Tuesday at the latest since she knew she was late and I already went to her so I was expecting my skirts to be ready. I end up getting a text of my order being ready on Friday 8/10/2018. I pick up the skirts on Wednesday 8/15/2018 and went home to tried them all and they were big on me so I had to head back to her and told her so I dropped them off for more “adjustment” so she was like “I will work on it and it will be ready by Friday 8/17/2018. At this point again, I was still expecting it will be ready on that day since she was previously late three times with a lot of excuses. Never received a text on Friday so I waited all day on Monday expecting her to text me they were ready, then it was Tuesday at the end of the day and still no text of my order was done so I went to her and when she saw me she was like “they’re not ready yet, I was tight up, excuse” and I was like just give me my skirts. So, I had to took them home after I paid her $53.20 and not a very good job done they’re big on me, I waited forever to have the job done initially and then waited more to get the additional adjustments and she didnt care about it. I am a customer and I am as important as every single other customer she has. I gave her a job to do and she just didn’t really care to do the job, like she keep making up excuses and taking her sweet time. When you have your own business, you should care about every single customer you have, because that’s the job your living on and if you do a bad job and the customer is unhappy with your “customer service” they will go away and find someone else and guess what you lose a customer and revenue too.**DO NOT RECOMMEND** READ THE STORY!!!!
