Watch your transaction amount people!! I went yesterday and got my nails done . My charge was $47 . Paid with my debit card and tipped my unpleasant and unfriendly nail tech in cash ( as the sign on his station requested ). Looked at my bank history around dinner time and it was $47. The next morning I noticed while looking at my transaction history the transaction had been changed to $57. When I went in and requested a copy of my receipt ( which they never provided to me in the first place) she showed me a copy of my transaction slip which had the original transaction amount of $47 and the lines that I put through the tip section and someone had written over top of the lines a $10 tip. When I questioned and told them that the transaction amount had changed and that I did not enter that tip amount in there ( I tipped in cash) I was given an explanation of my receipt being confused for someone elses because they had forgot to charge someone for an eyebrow wax so they wrote it in there as a tip and changed the amount of that transaction. 100% unprofessional way of handling a situation all the way around for everyone involved. She gave me my $10 back and honestly its not even about the $10 to me. Its about the fact that I really feel like someone helped themselves to add an extra $10 tip onto my card thinking it wouldnt be noticed. And I seriously wonder how many times this has been done where it has not been caught. That is fraud! The lady this morning was very apologetic but I still think its an absolutely unacceptable. Im a natural born skeptic so my mind tells me that I was getting ripped off $10 .

UPDATE: I now have an infection on my foot that has required medical treatment. This company has been reported, and I highly recommend going anywhere else!I went to get my toes done two weeks ago because my normal place was overbooked and I am so disgusted in rage even after 2 weeks. The lady doing my toes was rude, she used unsanitary tools including a metal foot scraper which is ILLEGAL as it can cause permanent damage, mind you I asked her not to use this on my feet and she ignored me. The foot scraper was used so excessively that my feet hurt and burned for days after. Let me also mention that the foot scraper was cleaned with the dirty water my foot was just in and was handed to another worker who preceeded to use it on another persons foot. Let this sink in... if a tool is not properly cleaned it can spread infectious incurable diseases.My toe nails were not shaped well, the gel came off of one toe that evening and three others peeled off within two days. Finally, when I went to pay she said it was $50 for the pedicure, HOWEVER the sign said 45, when inquiring she said no its $50 today. So I handed her $50 and refused to tip. SAVE YOURSELF DO NOT GO HERE!

I am a long time patron here and usually spend a lot. However, after today I refuse to go to VN nail at the mall anymore. I usually get a full set but decided I just wanted my natural nails painted and my toes this time. The price board clearly states $20 for gel paint. Helen is always trying to upsell and charge me more and she is very pushy which in a way I understand its her job but when I say no then no. It clearly irritates her. So when I go to check out the guy states $40 and she interrupts and says no $55 because he removed one half of an old acrylic nail. Even he disagreed with her but she wouldnt budge. Ok Helen, Ill pay it but from now on my business goes elsewhere. Ill find a shop with more class and integrity. I still tipped the man well because it wasnt his fault but I wont go back.

Went for manicure and pedicure. Pedicure was great, amazing job on my feet. I wanted to get dip for my nails, but they wouldnt listen and ended up doing something completely different than what I wanted. I should have walked away, but I needed them done and everyone else was booked.

Called to make an appointment and they stated they take walk ins and was not busy . I showed up 30 minutes later and signed in for a balance. I was not greeted until i sat down and was asked what i was there for. I stated “a balance”. The nail tech asked me if i meant a “fill”. Same thing, yes. Every chair was filled and the techs all began to chatter amongst themselves In their language which makes most people uncomfortable anyway. But hearing them say “balance” and knowing they were opening talking about me made me super uncomfortable so i left. Even other customers noticed as we made eye contact and i told her i could hear them talking. Unprofessional and rude. If i could give negative stars i would. I see why this place has a low rating.

I asked for a $45 dollar mani & pedi special. The lady handed me the polish, I asked how much for a shalac? the guy said $5 bucks extra i said ok. So instead of paying for a $45 special, I get to the counter and they say $90 bucks?? For what? You cant trust them. Unprofessional. Went from $50 to 90 bucks at check out smh how does a petty and mani cost more than a full set and pedi with shalac? Quick to over price. I wont be back

I drove 45 minutes to this place since the places in town were all booked. The man who did my nails bashed the last nail tech I had while telling me I had to come to his salon because the salon I was going to wasnt good quality. He made 6 of my 10 cuticles bleed. The design and quality was sub-par at best. The polish is sloppy on several fingers on the bottom of the nail. He didnt even scrub off all the color from my last design. Wont be going there again.

Don’t go here😡 the guy sanded the skin off my toes and didn’t listen to me when I told him it hurts. He made me get gel when I told him I wanted regular polish. It was the kid at station 5. He also glued my acrylic nails on so uneven/didn’t even size them right. He also didn’t do any cuticle work so when they grew out 3 days later they looked even worse.

I walked into the salon and instantly felt bad vibes, some of the employees seemed to be a bad mood, I rushed and had little time to pick out what I wanted. The man that serviced me was very ruff! I tried to correct him while doing my nails but that seemed to bother him. He cut me serval times I had to pull my hand back to get him to stop and he never even apologized or spoke a single word to me. Yet they did a lot of talking and laughing in their language which I felt was very rude. My nails were different lengths and widths it was very sad to look at. I took them off I couldn’t take it! $45 wasted.

Horrible. Kevin is who did my nails and he was getting mad that I was asking questions about my nails because I was trying something new. He pulled in my hands hard, he grabbed my arm and shoved it back at me forcefully. Never will go here again. My nails arnt fully covered in polish, the sides of my nails you can see and polish isnt up to my cuticle, so I will have to get them done very soon again. So not worth $35 for nails that I make last a month I will now need to get ready done in 2 weeks

My girl gets eyebrows waxed here, they are reasonably priced and do a good job

I got a full set of acrylics put on and as the next hour went on they felt tighter and tighter on my fingers. It felt like rubber bands were wrapped around my fingertips. I went back and Helen removed my nails and redid the acrylics all for no charge. She also took my name and number and texted me a few days later to make sure everything was going well. I genuinely appreciate a business who will make things right.

This place is amazing! I will drive an the extra 35 minutes just to go here for a pedicure. The prices are very reasonable.

I was treated very poorly, the man was extremely rude to me as soon as I sat down. When I asked him to fix my nail he started arguing with me and would not fix my nail. I also asked him to please remove the bumps on the inside corners and he acted as if he was but he did not actually do anything. I also did not get any shape, color not even top coat and he still charged me an $15 when all he did was put acrylic on my nails. My nails look so bad he did not put any effort in at all and also I just got them done 4 days again and they are already lifting because of how hard he was filling my nails. DO NOT GO HERE HUNNY IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!!!!

I highly recommend Helen, she listens to what you want and delivers! I usually don’t have a lot of time to sit around and wait, when she has told me a time, she keeps her word. She also has a very friendly attitude with All her customers and is welcoming.

Very disappointed, 3 fingers were bleeding from an inexperienced tech, he kept telling me dont look and I was bleeding, never sanitized equipment from the blood, polish was was overflowing into the blood, payed more attention to who was coming into the mall front door instead of doing my nails correctly, he needs to retire, if your that desperate for money get some experienced techs in your shop, will never return, ever.

I feel they insult the cistomers. I get the impression theyre.making fun of them. Their prices are too high. The store is clean and the furniture is comfortable. Their equipment is up to date.Theyve done a beautiful job on my nails.

I had a pedicure, shellac on my nails and my eyebrows waxed.First, on my toes I had a French polish but I asked several times for cotton candy as the base color. He kept saying yes, but started polishing with the clear...He had to take it off because I insisted on the cotton candy color. Then I had a French done on my nails and the white tip is all crooked! After all that I had my eyebrows waxed and she took so much off I barely have any left!! She asked how I liked them...well not much she could do now since I barely had any. I just asked them to be cleaned up!! Not removed! And working in a salon shouldnt she be up to date on style? Thicker eyebrows are in.I have been there several times in the past. This was the worst visit ever! I will never go back.

Every time I go in they do very well on my nails and charge me at a reasonable price. However I dont feel very welcomed I kinda feel miss placed when Im in there they always seem Disgusted with how I want my nails done... However they do an amazing job and never displease how I like them done. Im actually going today to get filled so we will see what happens.

This is the only salon I trust!! Helen is such a sweet heart, and she always does an awesome job. She is the only one that ever does my nails, and she never disappoints.I had my nails done as a french tip Thursday, ( its monday) and they started to turn an orange color. So, I went to get them fixed and Helen was very polite, complemented my prom dress she had seen pictures off and made conversation. She redid my nails for me with no charge, and with a smile.Helen- You rock!Highly reccomend this salon, and Helen as your artist/nail tech!

Myself and daughter have had dip manis every 3ish weeks for well over a 1 1/2. Yr My last dip only lasted 5 days and encountered a very rude response from the salon. we have changed salons, and a 100% happier.

Helen does mine and they always look GREAT. She listens to what I want done to my nails. They last about 3-4 weeks with no lifting.

I went here right before Easter and walked in got a gel manicure. I did not even get acrylic nails and they charged me $30. I walked in later after some time that day and thought it wasnt right. I asked one worker politely if the amount was correct stating I had only gotten my nails painted with gel nail Polish French tip. She then looks at my nails in disbelief saying those are your real nails? Same price. I then again said No, I wanted gel nails and you charged me for shellac nails she then proceeded to tell me shellac and gel nails are the same. First of all, how can you correctly add up my total not even knowing if my nails were acrylic or not? It is okay though, have the extra $10, but none of my friends or family will be coming back. I do not recommend this place.

They are careful and do a great job. Ive tried 5 salons in Jackson and did not feel I had value. VN was the first to not hurt, do outstanding for the cost and make me want to come back.

Completely messed up my nails. Im actually going to have to have one removed and reapplied. Kent argued with me about the color. I asked for a orange based nude, refused repeatedly to give me any color I picked. ??? Why dude ??? Insisted I wear hot pink nails. I picked a pale sparkly pink but it needed three coats after I applied the first coat it was too transparent. He told me three coats was not possible and then again tried to paint me hot pink. I said no, again. And finally I got another nude color but then go my surprise he painted two more coats on top of the first coat. So I couldnt have the color I wanted but you can actually paint three coats. My nails are now detached from the acrylics and its going to cost a lot more to replace them. And 35 dollars for a fill? Seriously? He wouldnt even shorten then properly I would bet money hes absolutely not a nail tech. Be sure to see my photos so you can appreciate onen of the worst nail fills on the planet

HORRIBLE EXPIERIENCE. Kevin did my nails and was very rude for no reason. My full set was horrible. Bubbles underneath the polish. Didnt paint all of my nail. Very unhappy. Will never go back. I’ll give my money to someone who will HAPPILY do my nails and do a GREAT job.

Today’s visit was an absolute awful experience and it will be my very last time at this nail salon. Things really go down hill when the owner Helen isn’t there. To start off, I got there shortly after they opened which is 10am. I went in to get a pedicure and manicure. Well the man Chieu who did my pedicure not only did a bad job but he rushed, and was very offputing. A pedicure should be a relaxing experience Instead he made me very uncomfortable and uptight. The way he polished my toes didn’t look good but I didn’t say much about it... now they had me soaking my nails for over an hour. He stopped servicing me and not only performed a complete pedicure, but was half way through this lady’s manicure before I finally spoke up! The wait time was ridiculous. The lady who was in charge (due to Helen being on vacation) was very rude to me and began to argue with me that my nails were brittle due to the acrylic. Which I didn’t disagree, but I was trying to explain to her that I’d been waiting for way too long for my nails to soak and due to my nails being so brittle I didn’t think that my nails should have been soaking in that alcohol for that extended amount of time. She began yelling at me in front of other customers. I never yelled or argued back, I simply asked them to take my nails out of the acetone, buff my nails and let me cash out.. they did that.. but not before they yelled at me in front of all the customers. Not to mention, other customers are leaving due to the extremely long wait time after being told they would only have to wait 15 minutes.. well 15 minutes turned into more than 30 minutes and so on and so forth. May I add the nail tech told me I was “like everyone else” as she proceeded to yell at me and the male workers laughed. It was an awful experience and I would not suggest this nail salon to anyone... poor job, wait times extremely long and workers are rude and unwelcoming. They’ve lost a customer..

Went in for manicure, was told Id be seen immediately and to pick out a color. I proceed to find a nice color and then stand there with no one telling me where to go for a good 2 mins, then was told to set in the waiting room to be seen by someone else. I wait for 15 mins plus, as I watch two people WALK IN WITH NO APPOINTMENT and they helped them immediately and skipped right over me and ignored me. Entire store is rude and i will NEVER go there and I recommend unless you have an hour to be pushed around THEN get your nails done, I wouldnt go here.

Would give zero if it was an option. My mother, friend, sister in law, and myself all went and they were awful. We all got acrylic manicures. Mine were very thin and broke the next day. My sister in laws were supposed to be coffin and they deffinelty were not. All around awful.

I just got my nails done yesterday and the lady was very slow, kept walking away while in the middle of doing my gel nails, and the quality is HORRIBLE!!! I have air bubbles under the top coat because she didnt let the under layers harden completely, the nails are crooked, and when I showed the lady the design I wanted on my nails she did something completely different and charged me for it when I said I didnt even want it. I will be getting my nails fixed at another nail salon and will NEVER come back!

Only reason i put 1 star is so i could write a review they cut my fingers with the buffer. Switched people on me 3 times kevin. Who finished them was so rude and acted like it was a bother to do my nails. Argued me up and down about the color kr sheilac and then when he half assed the acrylic job goes..are yiu going to pay me first. Meaning before he painted me nails and i said no hoping that wpuld make him try to do a decent job. Made my sisrer sit in the chair 15 minutes with no one helping her then did the same thing to the next girl. The guy who worked on mh sister PHYSICALLY GOT UP TO WATCH A FOOTBALL GAME IN THE MIDDLE OF DOING HER NAILS after bullying her into gels. They are all rude and demanding and i wont be back

The room was crowded. The two guys working there were just so rude, pushy and impatient. I got a filling and they charged me more than what a full set would cost. The nails look okay but they didn’t polish the very tops of the nails so they look mediocre at best to be honest.

I got a pedicure on July 4th (the deluxe pedi) and noticed about a week later I had a white film under my toe nail. It slowly started to spread across my whole toe nail and after getting it checked out I learned it was a fungus. Now July 31my big toenail is coming completely off.

I go in and say I need Gel refill and polish w/shalac and want want feet washed toes fench. I say I dont want anything done to my toenails just polished. ( I clip N filed toenails before coming) how much $ ? I get KEVEN, So to put it short, I felt rushed to pic color, he kept making inpatient sighs, he hurt me with grinder and got stern when I jumped, kept tapping my hand or push my arm with sighs of aggravation and when I thought he was done with dryer he says sternly PUt YOUR HAND back in there like dumass. Then stands up OMG hes pissed cuz dust is on him. I go to the foot bath area and he starts to prep for polish, I say wait, what about washing feet, he looks at me in question and he speaks good English, I need them washed so he he turns on the sprayer emediant hot and scalds my feet as Im say ouch hot, hot, and squirming my feet out of range , he messes with temp and still a bit too worm. Why didnt you feel with your hands? I guess they misunderstood what I wanted. I He just rinsed and did Polish no pride in his work, rude and shows he is burnt out, pun intended. I dont know how to get pic on here. My nail edges are rough and polish isnt covering the sides. I didnt have anyone fix it because I knew I wouldnt be back. Second time there and dont deserve a 3rd.

I got my nails done here about a couple months ago and I ended getting an infection and losing my nail. The people there are rude and made me very uncomfortable. My friend just went there last weekend and had rude customer service and the lady messed up his nails.

Its very unwelcoming everytime I go there they make it uncomfortable this last time the lady cut my thumb real bad just from filling them and repeatedly put alcohol on it after I said no more than once and then they gonna go now charge me extra for how long I like my nails haha I dont think so needless to say I never give em more for the length I want my nails nothing like ripping people off..
