A couple weeks ago , I went here with my mother-in-law to get my wedding ring resized , the lady sized me , and said it would be around $.200. She gets her little magnifying glass out , looks at the ring and look up and says , “oh it’s platinum. Platinum is outrageous price right now so it’s gonna be expensive” she then tells us that it will be around $400 dollars for a resize and she also “noticed” the prongs on my ring were “weak” and needed replaced and that she would be doing that “on the house “. . Me and my mother in-law both couldn’t imagine spending that much on a resize so we left and she went to a reliable jeweler out of town , she had the ring resized for $100 dollars , the ring is WHITE GOLD and the prongs were fine . I would just not waste my time going to this dieing Jackson establishment, they will definitely scam you for your moneys worth .

My fiancé and I were very pleased with our experience. We went into Promise Jewelers on a whim one Friday afternoon, and Marlene spent a good hour showing us all the rings I asked for, answering every single question I had, and letting me look at the diamonds I was interested in. It meant a lot that she was so kind and patient and was able to show me diamonds with the size, clarity, and color specifications I was looking for. She had the diamond mounted and the ring was ready to purchase within a matter of days. She was also incredibly accommodating of our schedules. I didn’t know what to expect when going through that process, but I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I HIGHLY suggest using Promise Jewelers. And perhaps most importantly: I am in LOVE with my ring!

I’ve been to Promise about 5 times now for ring shopping, ring work, watch work, ring sizing etc. Every time I have been shocked with how well the customer service is handled. Not only is the staff knowledgeable, they are extremely helpful as well. My wife had her rings soldered together and the work done by the jeweler was also fantastic. I will definitely be back to Promise for all our jewelry needs.

Love, Love, Love this store and the associates...I have shopped there since they opened...I go there throughout the year for all jewelry needs. But, at Christmas time, I am usually there the full week prior to Christmas...every day picking up something new and exciting. The store is beautiful, clean, and very well merchandised. The employees are the best. Not one person walks in the door without being greeted by numerous associates. I have never seen a customer not being helped, even when there is more customers than associates. Gabby and Marlene always make sure that I have the best service, and am treated like I am special. Thank you for giving Jackson such a wonderful store...Happy New Year to you all...

I received a ring as a gift from this store. It needed resizing. Seriously outrageous cost to do so. I was told it would be done in a week, I called and was told it was not ready. I finally went to the store and it had been ready at the time of my call. Please take the time and drive to ABRACADABRA in Ann Arbor or LA JOLLA in Chelsea. I rarely post negative reviews but this was the worst jewelry experience in my life.

I brought 8 peices here to be repaired and resized... I wish I hadnt waited so long to do it! From the moment I walked in, the service was fantastic. Not only was the staff knowledgeable, but also incredibly personable. They have a jeweler on site that did an absolutely fantastic job. Not only was my order done quicker than I expected, as well as less money than it was quoted to cost, but the results were stunning. Between the warm atmosphere and incredible results, I wont be taking my jewelry anywhere else in the future. Thanks so much guys!

The atmosphere and displays in the store are perfect and the staff is great! Gabby helped as soon as I walked into the store but wasnt too over bearing, and she helped me find the perfect gift for someone! Of the many jewelry stores Ive been in, this one was by far the best. I picked out my fiancees engagement ring at Promise Jewlers and we are both really excited about the ring!! I worked with Gabby and Marlene and the customer service was excellent! Everybody was very helpful in helping me choose an engagement ring, and I was also able to pick out a wedding band for her as well. We are looking at purchasing my wedding band from Promise Jewelers as well! I am beyond happy and satisfied with what I have received and will definitely be going back there in the future as well!!

What a great experience!!!!!!!!!! I have literally been into every jewelry store between Jackson and Kalamazoo looking for the perfect gift for someone very special to me. No other stores could hold a candle to Promise Jewelers. The sign on the door read excuse our dust while we remodel ...what dust?? Your store is amazing. I barely noticed the construction. Every employee in the store was polite...heck even the construction workers were polite. What I noticed right away were the showcases. They are scratch free, crack free and sparkle like the Las Vegas Blvd. The inventory on the other hand is amazing!! The inventory looks like jewelry one might find while on vacation in the Caribbean. I am not a gemologist, nor do I know all the cuts of a diamond. But I can tell you that this store is one of a kind. The inventory is stunningly displayed in silk type ring holders. Everything is polished and inviting. More than once I heard the owner praising the employees and treating them like someone would appreciate to be treated. Zero intimidation here. I was left alone to browse and at times had several people helping pull items for me as we made conversation. I like to have an item in my hand and silently make a decision. I love it when all my questions are answered. I love it when I can be sold so easily. Its really nice to be waited on by people who enjoy working in this style of store. Be proud, your store screams success. I will be back to claim Old Yeller in due time.

Showroom is absolutely gorgeous! The staff is beyond helpful. I wanted a UofM pearl bracelet for my girlfriend for Christmas. All they had left were MSU bracelets. I saw they had UofM charms and asked if they could swap it out. The owner took them and swapped the charm out for me. I cant say that I wasnt completely satisfied with my experience there. Im happy we have such a wonderful place on the east side of town.

Not professional at all. Low balled me on gold that Peterson jewelers paid me almost 3 times what they offered. This isnt the first time. The manager is uptight and snooty. I will never go back here.

I had an amazing experience at Promise Jewlers. Ive been to many other stores in the area but none come close to how great Promise is. All the employees are so kind and willing to go out of their ways to help you with anything that you need. I went in looking for multiple specific Alex and Ani bracelts and the store didnt have one that I wanted. Staci even called to get my bracelt from another store. While I waited for her to try and find the bracelt online I was offered coffee and cookies. After ordering my bracelt I was able to find my other ones I wanted. Before I left, they wrapped all my bracelts in wrapping paper so I could give them to my friends for Christmas. Easiest Christmas shopping this year!
