Its really a nice apartments with all the amenities. No roaches issues and completes the maintenance issues in 1 or 2 days. They are taking care of all preventive measures to keep the residents safe.

We had a good experience there at Oaks Hackberry while we lived there for 1 1/2 years. The staff is cordial, nice, and pleasant to deal with. When we moved out, we had absolutely no problems and office staff is willing to work with you. Our total experience was great.

I would never recommend living here. The worst apartments to live in. My experience was terrible and I have never had issues at apartments before. They do a bunch of weird “inspections”. They also tried to force me out with false claims of noise complaints. I was able to prove I wasn’t home those times so I could stay but it was really my neighbor making all the noise. Trash is always out and everywhere. Maintenance does nothing but you will see them hiding by the creek not working. Overpriced and I had the worst problem with gnats coming from the drains. Save yourself the headache and move somewhere else!!

Great, helpful management, Alyssa is very helpful always, grounds kept up well but could fix some of the landscaping, maintenance guys are cool and do a great job. Complex is quite with no loud noises or annoying people outside. We have a heavy walker upstairs also during sleeping hours 10p-6a and mngment called them to ask to quite down twice for me. Central air works great in this heat! Spacious apts that are well painted and not too old appliances, but could use an update or remodel to more modern. Plenty of food and stores very close by. Also notice that all the reviews are positive except for the the one from Jasmine S., that really must be a crazy, angry, depressed individual for saying those absurd comments on the apts that are simply untrue! Oaks Hackberry was a great first apartment for my husband and I! We just moved out last week and already miss it! Would have stayed if we werent moving out of state for schooling. The apartments look nice and the grounds are kept pretty clean. We had some ants and a few roaches in the summer but nothing crazy. Though our apartment had a few issues, maintenance was always super quick! My one complaint would be that sometimes it was pretty hard to get ahold of someone via email, but that is really nothing compared to all the good things about this place!

The whole experience from touring an apartment to moving into one was amazing. Alyssa helped us throughout the process and answered all our questions. After I completed my application, they took around 2 weeks to review everything. They also run background checks, employment checks, rental history checks and credit checks which I think is very professional. The apartment was clean and all appliances worked perfectly. Overall I am happy that I moved here. Would definitely recommend Oaks Hackberry to my friends and colleagues.

Ive lived here for about 4 years and love it.Staff is always friendly, work orders are taken care of immediately and properly.Ive lived in multiple apartments over the years, and work orders not being completed in a timely matter is a terrible thing in some places.Its a quiet community, and a great place to call home in my opinion.

We have been here awhile. Rarely if ever had any issues on our 3rd floor apartment. Moved to a first floor unit and had a ton of problems. Now we are having roach problems. We keep everything super clean. I think they are coming from our neighbors, who I have seen on occasion leave tons of cooked food outside on their balcony. Pest control should be mandatory but you have to call each week to get them to come out. We hate bugs this is frustrating. This needs to be resolved.

WORST experience ever with the front office. It took them over a month to review my application even after calling continuously to check on my status. They kept telling me I would be approved as there was nothing wrong with my application. Week after week they said it would be reviewed and finalized next week but not to worry as it would get approved. Then they tell me Im NOT approved and now I have 3 weeks to find a new place.... They did nothing whatsoever to try to help. Why tell me Im going to be approved and wait 5 weeks to tell me Im not approved??? WASTE OF TIME. The only reason they would not approve me is because Im a STUDENT on student loans. I told them this upfront too and they said it does not matter that I would be approved. Way to help out students...

Apartments Complex are pretty and clean. Includes Pool and Gym.The apartment we got had updated black appliances and white marble which looks stunning. I found the rent relatively good in compare to near by one.Staff is courteous and try to resolve your issues sooner. They have a online portal to manage things on the go. Packages are safely stored in Luxer Package for your peace of mind. You would get a dedicated shadow parking next to your Apt and have open parking spots too for your guest.Initially we had the small bug issue in kitchen, but little care from our end with thrash resolved it.Overall, I liked the place and would stick around for long.

I lived here for 7 years and had an absolutely awesome experience in every aspect. Leasing office staff, wonderful, maintenance, wonderful... move out for a couple years for personal reasons and then came back... since I have return from the day I moved in... absolutely horrible experience... upon move in carpet dirty and ac not working. A couple months in the ceiling full of water stains, and just recently flooding in the kitchen. Rent is too high for this mediocre complex. I will be moving out ASAP... I’d rather pay to break the lease than put up with this. This is supposed to be my home where after a long day of work I can relax and just feel great in my space... leasing office has been dancing around my maintenance issues for months... I have emails and now have decided to contact corporate. I have a feeling I will get no where but none the less I will try. This is unacceptable...

I recently moved in oaks. This place is great and Monica and all the staff are doing a superb job. Always there to help and resolve all your queries instantly. Hats off to the super team!

Management is never there to help you and late fee is 10 % of your rent. Stay away from this place.

Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill. Ive lived here for a number of years. The great office and maintenance staff has been replaced by personnel who dont seem to care. There is only one office rep that is helpful, and one older maintenance person that is luckily still available. The best thing about OHC is the location, which is what keeps me here.

Management is worst, stayed here for almost and leaving the place because Of management.

I am giving the review for the customer service of this apartment complex. Everyone is very joyful, very kind and very helpful. Among them Karen is best. I always prefer her to give a workorder for apartment, any issue on complex of the apartment of I need help on anything related to apartment complex. Not like all other apartment complex who takes forever to complete the maintenance work order, here they do it very smoothly and the same day/next day itself. I like this apartment very much. I am very sad to leave this apartment because I am already hating my new apartment. If you need help or you need to lease a new apartment or get details or explore the apartment, all you need to do is go there and ask for Karen. She is the best for customer service. Enjoy living here

Need a better management .

Lived here for 2 years and its a great place. The front office is nice and helpful. The apartments are a little older, but they are nice inside. No issues with bugs or noisey neighbors. My hot water heater leaked while I was out of town, the apartment had the hot water heater replaced the next day. I would recommend it to a friend.

I have lived at Oaks Hackberry Creek Apartments for a year and a half. The complex is very clean also well maintained.The office staff are always on point from handling service request to helping with any questions we might have. In particular Karen and Monica are rock stars. I would refer anyone looking to make a move to check them out first! The community is quite and tucked away in the heart of Las Colinas. 5 stars :)

I’ve lived in other apartments before and I truly only have good things to say about this place. Maintenance is fast, friendly, and always answer service calls within 24 hours. Management has changed a bit (going on year 3 here) but nothing a little time on the job won’t help improve in the office. They always keep up with bug spray just like clockwork. Always working on improving the place. Yes internet sucks but finally ATT came and did their job and installed new lines, so it’s not the apartments fault for it. It’s always quiet here. People mind their own. Have never had a problem with my neighbors or anything. Even the regular postman is friendly and will know you by name ! Great work y’all!

Not responsive and clearly don’t care about getting new ppl in. I’ve tried twice to get into these apartments. The first time there was a waiting list and they didn’t call me into two months after the initial month I needed the apartment. No biggie.2yrs went by and decided I wanted a new apartment and tried here AGAIN. This time I came about 5 months in advance, got on there list, put down a $100 check to hold the spot. My availability for the apartments were quite open. I could do any 1 bedroom except the smallest, and even a 2 bedroom. I called and called and called and was always given excuses. I stopped by and was told that even though the apartments said ready online that they weren’t ready to view. They could show them, but they weren’t ready yet.Its now the month I need to move and you think I’ve heard anything from them?? Nope. You don’t want to treat new potential ppl right, so I definitely don’t want to have to live there and see how you really are.I won’t be giving these apartments a 3rd try, I’m somewhere new with a great attentive staff that cared about getting me in and followed up with me.

I want to start by saying that this place is awesome!! Specially the people maintaining Oaks hackberry creek apartment in Irving. A special shout out for Chris, i called the maintenance after 7pm because my AC was broken and it was 90F in my apartment. Chris was kind enough to come and he was very respectful. He fixed the AC in no time -just 10 minutes and me and my husband could sleep that night in the apartment. Thankyou Chris and Oaks hackberry team you do great job!!

I would like to recommend these apartments. Mounica helped me in every aspect of the lease. I moved from chicago and when i visited the apartments, there were no vacant apartments to tour me, but i just went with the words of the office staff Mounica. She was very helpfull after i signed the lease. there were minor repairs and she put workorders to get it done. Moved in 3 months, no issues so far...

They have a very rude lady that answers the phone and makes everything soooooooo hard. I do not want to live anywhere that makes simple things hard. Old appliances, out dated amenities, and rude staff, 1 star living at the Oaks. This used to be a nice place back with the manager Chris and former team.

We lived in this apartment around one and half year.Everthing was good except internet and service. Especially one maintenance guy always behave rudely. He always talk with no respect. Mainly he don’t like Indians.

Signed the lease to move in (dec 2017) paid Admin/Application fees of $475. But later on they mentioned the current tenant is not ready to vacate the apartment (what a joke). Apt manager(Andrea) promised to refund the fees of ($475) I paid for application process , but even after 1 month , they did not mail the check. When you follow up over the call , they are rude and asking me to keep waiting for the check. Looks like I am not going to get the refund :(Stay away from this apartment!!

They dont want to get in new people in their apartment, they charged extra deposit even if you provide them all the necessary things for apartment lease. Their rental verification process is kind of money making business. Disappointed with their verification process.

I lived here for two years. I have only two complaints, which have been mentioned in previous comments.1) The internet provider options are not good. I used AM3, and I dealt with slow internet on a daily basis as well as a handful of times in which the internet did not work at all.2) The gates are terrible. It is a pain to wait for the arms to come down and back up before going in. The arms were broken all the time. And when I had guests, it was annoying to explain the complex system for getting cars in without damaging them.Despite these two complaints, I loved living here. It was quiet. People took care of their pets mess. The grounds are well-maintained and beautiful. The maintenance guy, Trey, took care of needs immediately. No bugs, ever. Staff was nice. Carport was included with rent.I would definitely recommend this property. The pros definitely outweighed the cons.

Price is fair.Service is great.There is no Sunday hours so if your stuff shows up on Saturday and you dont pick it up you have to wait until Monday.The down side is the ventilation in the units, Internet providers, lost packages and entry way.Whatever it is that you cook your unit will continue to smell like that meal for days or a mixture of your previous meals.Yes, you can open a window but in the heat of the summer with a/c running thats not a good idea same for winter.The gates are annoying but manageable.Whats worst is the keypad that guest have to use that rarely work Im not sure if its a signal issue or people not buzzing them in but it is not uncommon to see 2 to 4 cars waiting to be let in by somebody with a remote.You are given the choice between two terrible internet providers.Ive resulted to using the unlimited hotspot on my phone which works a lot better.They gave my package away to another resident claimed it never showed up and that they wouldnt do that.I finally picked up my package days later.After contacting seller and usps looking for my package that never showed up they all said it was delivered. Just not to me.The items were damaged and it was too late to return.I am having my stuff shipped to my job now so that this doesnt happen again.Granted this only happened once but I was still out the money spent and the item itself.So if you dont cook at home and dont order items online and dont receive any guest and hardly use Internet you are good.

How come you guys do not have sunday hours ?Most apartments i have lived in dallas area open 1-5pm on sundays. If i get a package on saturday I have to wait until monday to get them ? Also the internet situation has not improved in last 3 years i have lived here. You need to terminate your monopoly contract with Access media. I know att&t dsl is an option, but who uses dsl connection in the age of high speed internet.

My fiance and I went looking for apartments today. A car in front of us was blocking the sign that warns of how the entry gate operates. Unfortunately, we didnt have time to react to the signs. The gate left a very large dent in our new truck. Poor planning on Oaks Hackberry part. Needless to say, we wont be looking at apartments there.
