LMS had completed a pre-purchase inspection on a BMW m3 in 2018, and then did mechanical repairs, including the Vanos. Then in 2021, the vanos hub broke again, and LMS stood behind their work and warranty and re-imbursed me for the new repair and part. WOW and THANK YOU!

Made almost a 2 hour drive to have my front main seal replaced on my 335i which I was told was leaking by my local shop. I chose LMS to perform the work because I was quoted $150 cheaper than my local shop and I’m always searching for a good reputable shop to establish a good relationship with for my vehicle. Let me tell you, these guys were great! Come to find out there wasn’t even a leak at my front main seal like my local shop had said and they kindly shared that with me as opposed to replacing it anyways since they wrote up a quote for it and had the parts ready. I really appreciated that professionalism and it summed up what the shop is all about. Not only did they save me from paying for something that wasn’t needed, they also went ahead and still cleaned the underside of my engine and even inspected my exhaust for me spur of the moment as I thought there may be a loose connection somewhere. Bill is the guy that was doing the work on the vehicle and he was very knowledgeable and friendly and more than happy to share his advice and point me the right direction with some things he noticed outside of the scheduled job. And Floyd at the front desk was also very kind and shared some wisdom. I’ve never been to a shop where I really felt like the people working truly loved what they do until I came here. I don’t care about the long drive, these guys will get my business again.

I had probably the best service experience of any since I purchased my BMW 5 years ago. This includes dealers and other non-dealer service locations. Hunter handled the entire experience and raised the bar on customer service. The two BMW dealerships Ive used could take a few lessons from this man.My first experience was a situation whereby I expected some very bad (and expensive news). To my delight it was something fairly straight forward and they spent the time reviewing everything with me. I left spending far less than a dealer would have charged me and with more knowledge about the inner workings of my BMW then ever before.I had another visit for service and in this situation they made a minor process error on my quote which would impact my service cost. What Hunter did next blew me away. He said it was his error and he would honor the original quoted price despite the higher cost of a part. WHO DOES THIS ANYMORE. That honesty alone will bring me back. Ive been telling everyone I know, who owns a BMW, about this place and about Hunter. Nice work gentlemen. This is the type of local business I will always support.

The owner, Mr. Lerich, was very knowledgeable about my BMW 525.I was very worried about the condition of my car; I even had it towed to his shop. All types of lights coming up everywhere. Came out with only a three figure bill and the car in great condition. Very happy.

This is the place you want your BMW to be at when it needs serviced for repair or preventative/routine services. Nothing but complete professionalism and transparency from Hunter and all of the guys at the shop. I am not mechanically-inclined by any stretch of the imagination but at no time did I feel I was getting upsold or taken advantage of with my lack of car knowledge. Hunter is completely honest and tells you what your vehicle needs and when it needs it, to whom to go to for body work and he even helped me navigate through an insurance claim with my vehicle. Do not expect a quick and cheap band-aid type fix for your vehicle; they may take an extra day or two making sure everything is done correct which is one of my favorite things about them. This is the place you need to go to.

I recently had some pretty extensive repairs done on my high mileage three series. Every time I have taken any vehicle to Tom, it is thoroughly inspected and all of the issues are prioritized as to when they need repaired. I have never felt pushed in to buying something I didnt want. While I was in for a new clutch, Tom solved a clunk in my front end that another independent shop and BMW dealer both missed and it was repaired with only $70 in parts. I have found that the parts used (all BMW or OEM) are the same price or less than ordering online. Tom is also more than happy to install some customer provided parts, provided that they are of good quality. They also informed me of some parts that were incorrectly installed by another shop and worked with me for a practical and affordable solution. I love their attention to detail and interest in the vehicles safety followed by the fun to drive factor. There were a few hiccups along the way, but Tom bent over backwards to make it more than right. Since it is a relatively small shop that has built a good reputation, wait times for some jobs can be a bit long. However, they are currently expanding their work space so I doubt this will be an issue for much longer. Lastly, their quotes are consistently less money than any other shop I have visited. I no longer trust any shop with our vehicles.

First off, if you ever see a poor review about these guys, I’d say to take it with a grain of salt as I can’t see these guys doing anyone wrong. They would prefer take a loss on a car than have their integrity questioned. To the review: The guys at LMS are amazing. Hunter (office manager and gentleman that generally picks up the phone) is extremely knowledgeable and patient with customers. I called with a list of preventative maintenance I was interested in performing as my car just hit 60,000 miles. Hunter was very straight forward about what he thought should be done, and what could be excluded. In making these determinations, Hunter factored in the labor that would already be absorbed in doing other maintenance tasks. The end result is getting maximum bang for your buck.During this back and forth, Hunter spent 2-3 hours on the phone with me discussing the project. He gave me an itemized statement prior to starting the job, and they came in on budget. Bill, the mechanic that worked on the car, did an amazing job. He is a very nice guy; and more than happy to take the time to explain what is going on with the car. He will give his honest assessment on maintenance items required and that he would wait on.I drove from 2 hours away for LMS customer service and reasonable pricing, and I will do it again moving forward. I value their opinion, and trust them with my car, money, and safety. If you have a BMW, go here. If you have a BMW out of warranty and are not a millionaire, you have to go here. They make owning these amazing machines off warranty possible for the average guy.

Summary of what happened; Charging more then the quote, refuses to call or let me know what’s going on with my car, Using the name of a performance car builder who is not even associated with them anymore...STAY AWAY!NOT Lerich Motorsport anymore...They’re just using the name. I had used LMS BMW for about 2 years. Over the past year they have sold the shop. The new owner is just using the name to get customers. The customer service has went completely down the drain. I asked why they still used Lerich name and was told the LMS stands for nothing and they are “just using the name”.I had my car taken in for it flooding from rain, and for a passenger air bag restraint light... They couldn’t find the problem.. but some how “fixed” it. They refuse to call me back and let me know prices or estimates, or what’s even going on with my car, but can post on Facebook and Instagram while ignoring my calls... Very poor service.I asked how much it would cost for the service before being performed and I was told $100 for them to check it out and they would let me know. After 3 days and no calls I continuously called until I got an answer, and was told they had put 4 hours worth of work into my car.... I did not authorise that... Another 2 days later with no communicatios and now it’s 6 hours worth of work in my car.... I asked how much and told them I needed my car and they told me it was going to be $260 & come get it... As I leave the shop, I noticed the floor is still wet, and the light came back on for passenger air bag as I left the shop... pathetic.I had bought tires from them with a warranty (last year) and had to take them in after getting a blow out on Memorial Day weekend. It took 13 days and $580 out of my pocket for my tires to be serviced... They waited until I left town and until they had to deal with family members to say a price different then the QUOTE. They told me they are a Pirelli authorized retailer, multiple times when I asked... well they are not. They couldn’t even figure out how to prorate the tires... they emailed me a quote before I authorized work and it said $56.00 for tire balance and replacement... I told them do it, and kept them updated I would be going out of town for vacation. They waited tell I was out of town for vacation then called and told me to come get the car... I had a family member pickup the car and to my surprise it was $580, they had refused to take responsibility for the tires.. After my vacation I showed up to the shop very aggrivated and they magically were able to prorate them and give me money back ($280)..... but they couldn’t do that 2 days prior.Lastly I do most maintenance on my car myself, they put down my car needed a *Power steering flush(was just done in oct by them! Only been 3k miles) *Cabin air filter (I replaced it myself a week before, but they swore it needed a new one. *Air filter also that I just replaced... As I showed up the last time and walked into the office Hunter and Jeremy were discussing how they “wanted to take it for a spin” then abruptly stopped talking as soon as I walked in..I personally didn’t even want to leave this review but after this type of service I felt I had no other choice.2006 550i owner.

My radiator cooling fan went out on me. I towed it to KMS in Novelty, OH and they quoted me $1,400 plus $178 diagnostics. They were friendly enough only KMS was unwilling to apply the $178 diagnostic fee to my $1,400 bill. I paid the $178 and towed it from KMS to Lerich Motorsport - LMS BMW in Hudson, OH. Not only did LMS replace my radiator fan with a 2-year warranty, but they also INCLUDED a radiator flush and fill along with an oil change for $1050 out the door! Hunter runs the front desk. He is knowledgable, very personable, and patient. I cannot say enough good things about him and Lerich Motorsport.Thank you very much,-Michael RobertsonStow, Ohio

Had a really bad experience here and I will never go back, the owner was extremely rude and arrogant and frankly didnt seem like he knew anything about BMWs ended up charging me much more than the price that we agreed to when I came to pick my car up just because he didnt like me how childish. my car really seemed like they ragged on it when I got it back and what really got me is they didnt even do all the work that I brought the car there for and the owner confirmed that he could do the job when I set up the appointment and took the day off work to go there. Got charged a ridiculous price way higher than first quoted and its not even like they found something else that was more $$ they straight up jacked the price on the one thing that they actually did out of the 5 things I brought it there for. Probably the worst experience ive had with a mechanic in my life in general lol.................stay away

Absolutely horrible experience. Was treated extremely poorly, I felt the owner was trying to start an argument with me at every opportunity... completely wasted three weeks of my time. Owner changed his mind about parts/prices several times throughout and was very rude to me. I wish I would have never went here I feel like I was baited in then the whole thing switched on me I would highly recommend going elsewhere. This is not a motorsport shop either the owner told me they could install my boost gague made me wait 3 weeks then decided they didnt want to do it I thought it was a motorsport shop? I have no idea what they have going on over there but Ill never be back rest assured of that. Search other reviews on bmw forums and such you will see other people feel the same. Thumbs down.

They are the best!Sadly I am not a customer of this shop because I live 3 hrs away but I would highly recommend Lerich Motorsports to anyone who is looking for standup honest service.Due to my love of German vehicles and being relocated multiple times I sadly have had many of my vehicles in many different shops. In this time I have never received the service that I received when I contacted Lerich Motorsports. I have never written a review of a shop before but I felt it was necessary due to the outstanding service I received. If you are in question of which shop to take your car to please stop and give Lerich a call. (Long story ahead)I was recently purchasing a 1999 BMW 528it off of Craigslist in Cleveland OH. I live 3hrs away from there and I wanted to have a BMW certified shop inspect the vehicle before I made the purchase. I called 2 BMW shops in the Cleveland area to arrange a paid inspection but they were reluctant to help. I was a very disappointed. My third call was to Lerich Motorsports. The owner of the shop Tom Lerich picked up the phone, which means something to me. I explained my situation and he said he would be happy to help and inquired about the purchase. He then spent 30 minutes to talk with me about the car and what to look out for. I was blown away with his willingness to help knowing that I will not be able to take my vehicle there for future service. Tom agreed to have the vehicle inspected if I could have the seller drop it off during the week. He told me the typical price of an inspection but said if they see a red flag early that they would not charge me. Thankfully the seller said that he could drop if off Wednesday. I made arrangement with the shop and they said they could fit it in by the end of the week. (I was purchasing the vehicle on Saturday) Unfortunately the seller did not drop the car off until Friday morninf. Lerich still squeezed it somehow into their schedule. I spoke with Tom and Ethan multiple times throughout this ordeal and they were outstanding. Once they got the car they did a 3hr inspection and reported all they issues they could find. Big issues and small issues. They were very informative, helpful, and most of all honest. I have never felt this way about a shop before. My only wish is that I could live closer to them to have them service all of my cars. I did buy the car and could not be happier with their service. It says a lot that a company would bend over backwards for someone knowing that they will not be a future customer. I was and still am blown away by this. Please if you have issues with your current shop or just need someone honest to look over your vehicle give Lerich Motorsports a call. You will not be disappointed.Tom and Ethan, you are awesome. Thank you so much. I hope to meet you sometime.Sincerely,Steve Turk

Tom Lerich is a BMW savant! My local BMW dealer diagnosed my BMW X3 with a blown head gasket or cracked cylinder head, so I decided to get a second opinion. After researching the internet I came across Lerich Motorsport, in Hudson Ohio. Tom took the time to do a proper diagnosis; he repeated all the BMW test procedures and even did a smoke test that the dealership did not do. He discovered the problem was just a cracked air intake boot, not blown head gasket or cracked cylinder head. Tom is extremely professional, honest, and knowledgeable! Lerich Motorsport has all of the latest test equipment, service procedures, and access to OE parts to fix your BMW properly. I would drive 400 miles again (round trip from my house in Michigan) to have Tom service my car.Thank you Lerich Motorsport! You have a new customer for life. -September 2013-
