I have been going to Montrose Nails for 6 years, ever since I moved to Houston. It was the first place I tried and it is the only place I will go. Ivy is the only person I will let do my acrylic fills (I have sensitive nails/cuticles from biting and shes very gentle) and I LOVE love love having Ann do my pedicure. Highly recommend you check this place out.

This is the second time Ive been and the service is impeccable. The massages are thorough and the work is detailed. Nail artist was talented. Everyone is polite. Atmosphere is relaxing. This is going to be my regular place from now on.

Its awesome and Im always happy when i have my nails done there. They are so nice and do a great job. Very satisfied.

My favorite place to get manicures and pedicures. There are so many color choices for dip, acrylic, and shellac. Once in a while I try a different salon and they do not compare to the talented ladies here!

I really like the environment and the ladies are very sweet. Prices are good too in my opinion. Customer service was great.However, ombre may not be their strong area and one thing I hate is that I was cut. I didnt even notice it until I got home and started cooking. It started to sting, and then I realized I was cut with the filer. And the shape of the nails are a bit off. She did try to fix it to my liking but I didnt want to make her feel bad.Or am I being too picky?

Ivy is great with my nails! Gentle and she makes them look beautiful.

I have small fingers with short nails so I can tell when a nail tech is good because their approach will be gentle but still achieve the desired look. My toes nails were even worse and needed a lot of attention. I am happy with the manicure and pedicure I got today all for $60 dollars. The ladies are also very kind and professional.

When your previous nail lady and you break up unexpectedly (😰), you search high and low for your next committed relationship. I found Montrose Nails today and loved it so much! Van did my hands (acrylic with shellac) and Kim did my pedicure and both were phenomenal. The attention to detail was meticulous (everyone has some sort of PTSD from a cuticle burning or under the nail pain with the dreaded machine) - today I had no painful moments!! That, in itself, is a victory. I love my nails super super short, and Van listened to me and was so accommodating. Kim did a fantastic job with the tragic situation that *were* my dry heels. Prices are very reasonable, and I look forward to going back! Cheers to the start of my next relationship!

Good experience and efficient (which I always appreciate!). I was really pleased with their prices! My nail technician took her time and wasn’t rushing. There’s a couple areas that were missed, but nothing too noticeable.

This is the best nail salon. I have been going here for about six years. Ivy does an excellent job on my solar nails. They are all very nice and also give great pedicures. I have used 4 of the other girls for pedicures. Try then and you wont be disappointed.

Took my daughter to get her nails done the day before her husbands funeral. The ladies were so gentle and caring to her as she wept during the manicure while missing her husband. Because Chris loved Christmas, my daughter had a beautiful snow scene painted on her nail bringing her a smile. Busy but very peaceful salon. I have never had a longer lasting pedicure! They do marvelous work and the foot massage is amazing. Its best to call ahead and make sure they have an opening, but sometimes are able to accommodate walk-ins. Highly recommend this calm, friendly salon.

If you are looking for natural looking nails that are of outstanding quality, this is the place for you. The ladies are super professional and polite. The salon is clean and hygienic. This is a five star review due to the manual labor when getting a shellac manicure. There are no machines that will file your nails, rather each technician will gently remove polish, file and shape your nails by hand.

One of the better nail salons I’ve been to in Houston. It’s a pretty small shop and quite small, so do call ahead. My manicures have been perfect, but for pedicure, I noticed the staff were using the blue pumice bars on multi clients. This is not hygienic!

Everyone here is very nice, appointments are always on time, and they are reasonably priced. I was super impressed after my first Shellac manicure here, until I discovered my nail color became dull after just a few days. I thought it was maybe something I had done, so I returned another two times for the same manicure. All 3 trips produced the same results: dull nails that look like they were painted with regular polish at home. Pretty disappointed I have to find a new place.

I came wearing sweatpants and a hoodie, so maybe thats why i was mistreated. I was told once i was seated and they started on my pedicure that i am expected to pay for my services up front. The person next to me asked why I have to if she isnt, no answer was given. They did a poor job, i asked for the tip I gave back, and the woman got mad at me and started arguing with me. Telling me its my fault my nails are crooked because i have crooked fingers. I never went back, I am not telling you how to spend your money. Just telling you how mine was spent.

Simply put, this is the best nail salon in Houston. Its quiet and their work is fabulous. The techs are nice and kind. The prices are more than reasonable. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. They take walk-ins but there will typically be a long wait without an appointment because theyre almost always booked.

Their prices are excellent and they do a fantastic job. I definitely agree that it is the best manicure in Houston. They stay open until 7 and their latest appointment is at 6 p.m. I recommend calling ahead and make your reservation as they usually have a hard time accepting walk-in appointments

The nail technicians at Montrose Nails really know their stuff. I have not had anyone do a better, more professional job than they do, and definitely not for as low of a price as they charge.I started coming here for the occasional manicure before important events and later got hooked by the shellac/gel nails trend. I visit regularly now and always receive the same high quality for low cost.I dont stick with the same technician every time, but that doesnt matter because all of the techs are phenomenal. The few times Ive visited other salons, the polish could end up being a bit crooked in areas, or the shellac would begin to peel up after about a week. This never happens at Montrose Nails; my edges look perfect and the shellac doesnt peel for at least two weeks.The shop is also incredibly accommodating at fitting customers in, even at the last minute. Its few and far between that Ill get turned down for an appointment later that day.The only thing lacking in this salon is a better atmosphere. The shop is cluttered and a bit messy with old furniture that shows a lot of wear and tear. However, their practices are entirely hygienic and you simply cant beat their quality results and prices.This isnt the place to go with a big group of friends to get a pampering, spa-like experience. But its perfect for a down to earth girl with a crazy schedule and a tight budget.

I have to write review for this one. Finally found a quality nail salon. The place is not fancy like other place I went to, however the service is exceptional. Thu, my pedicure tech spent good amount of time do my toes and they were perfect. I also had leg massage and it was so relaxing. Everybody there are all so polite and professional. This would be my favorite nail salon!

This is not the fanciest of nail salons but now I wouldnt go anywhere else. Same ladies forever, they dont chat while working so it is relaxing. Great attention to detail.

This place is wonderful. High quality work without the high prices. Also, the ladies are lovely, very kind and they actually engage in conversation with you. Personally, I find genuine conversation with my nail stylist to be a more enjoyable experience. Only bad thing, everyone knows how great this place is; so you do need to call ahead to make sure you secure a spot. Ive tried to drop in a few times as Im driving by and its only worked out once. I just find this to be a testament to how great they are.

Walked in on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment and was accommodated right away even though the shop was full. The ladies who did my gel manicure and reg pedicure did a fantastic job. My appointment didnt feel rushed at all and Ill definitely be back!

Honestly I dont know how good of a job they do on nails, because I just walked in and they turned me away very quickly. I walked in at 4:30 pm and they didnt even ask me what I needed they just said no room. They didnt even give me an option to wait, simply rude. Still looking for my go to nail salon!

The no talking rule is fantastic!!! It was so quiet and there wasnt a bunch of tvs blaring some annoying show.... Kim did a great job on my shellac very careful and precise! The prices are good too

This was my third visit, I only tried peducures in this place and I used the only person that was available at that time,boy, what a huge mistake!She butchered my nails, they are now all in different length and the top edges are filed in different directions, color was also applied badly and unevenly.I am hoping the owner will teach her how to do a $30 pedicure, or let her get taught some place else.I would recommend to get a name reference before anyone will try this place, it huge hit or miss.

Nice place clean and I liked that they wear uniform :) i did not see it in any other salon that i used to go to. Also I was a little confused about the prices though, total for french shelack and regular pedicure i paid $59 without tips.

Perfect work! I loved my mani and pedi but, i did take well over 1.5 hours and my shellac mani and regular pedi were $56 plus tip- a little more than Im use to- but, the service and quality were worth it.

I WAS TOLD TO LEAVE!!!! I figured there would be a wait because it was about 1 oclock, but when I walked in & told them I needed a mani they told me Were too full & we wont do it. I thought too full? there were plenty of seats for me to sit & wait. so proceeded to ask how long of a wait would it be. She told me, Too long, two hours, we cant do it. Once she said that I figured she decided not to serve me. NEVER GOING BACK! GO TO VH NAILS ON IRVINGTON!
