I took a Nintendo Switch there today on June 13, 2021. Cool store! My Switch quit charging. They had it up and going again the same day paying the extra $25 to get it back asap. Works perfect again. Worth every penny. Clean store and has some cool FF7 and FF X models on display. Unfortunately they werent for sale. Overall satisfied and will definitely use them for anything else needing repairs in the future. 5 STARS!!!

Absolutely amazing. Only people that can fix Nintendo switch water damage. Even Nintendo considers that irreparable. Although they are missing some fine print sometimes your repair will go over the base pay it’s never final

I drove two hours to Game Guys to get my Xbox repaired and left completely satisfied. Only took about two hours for the repair. They tested my Xbox to be sure it worked and made sure nothing else was wrong. The employee I talked to was knowledgeable and professional. Anytime i need a repair i’ll definitely make the drive to Game Guys.

Took my Switch to get fixed (USB Port) only for it to come back and start over heating while on, Never had my switch heated up in the 3 years I’ve owned it, also price Went from 99$ to 160+ just to get a defective switch…. I’d recommend anyone to just pay the $114 and send it straight to Nintendo to get it fixed.-Update : It’s been heating up since I picked up from the store but either a) risk 100+ more to keep getting it broken or B) send it to the real professionals at Nintendo to get it fixed in one go. I think B is better

I picked up my sons PS4 slim today and notice that the cover was chip on right side and it was lifting. The rep insisted that I was like that when I dropped it off but I know for a fact it wasn’t. So basically I was sent home with a chipped PS4 with a broken clamp that secured the cover after I had paid full price for the repair. && I’d like to add if in fact it was dropped off like that I’m almost certain a note should have been made of the damage prior to accepting the repair. Someone damage my sons PS4 and they didn’t put it in the notes and the rep refused to acknowledge it. Hopefully the problem (not accepting disk) that I took it in for originally is fixed.

Was hoping they were good and fast in fixing my switch. Turned it in Sunday (29) last week then received a call yesterday (6) that I should get it by today. Then I call to ask if its ready just to be told in 3-5 business days ... Never again*(whole new console)* but this is what I got back, slow charging and dies fast (pics)NOT WORTH THE MONEY

Went in for a hdmi replacement for my ps4, junior was my tech and he was very professional called me every hour for an update, was fixed the same day. Will be recommending and coming back.

I took my PS3 to repair the USB ports, so I can get old files. Music,Photos,Game Data ETC. Ill be waiting for two weeks and counting... I gave my number and info. Went to get my ps4 fixed only for it to be returned to me in worse condition! Spent $200 for nothing to be solved and walking away with no help other than “bring it back”.. they also do not give refunds so you are screwed either way. The place is run by teenagers who know nothing about electronics. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

Very disappointed, I took my elite controller 2 there and they said it’s going to take 1 week to fix, waited a week and they said next weekend it’s going to be ready so I waited.They called me said they can’t fix the paddle and that’s the main reason why I took it there so they can fix my paddle, so they just fixed the bumpers and 1 bumper was already working.They charged me $70 for fixing a bumper and I brought it back home, hasn’t been a week and the left bumper is not working.So I pretty much wasted $70 for nothing.

I took my Xbox One here due to a video issue. I was referred here by Best Buy since I was outside of my warranty. They informed me the issue was with the motherboard and let me know the repair would be completed in a couple of days. Dropped it off on a Friday close to closing time and picked it up on Monday working good as new. Quick and professional service with a 30 day warranty.

I brought my arcade game here. The first time. They ended up chagning out the monitor. It took at least two weeks. Maybe two months later I had to bring it in agai . This time the changed the mother board. Each time I wanted to talk them about my game I had to try and find someone to tell me about it. They never called me to tell about it. They had it for maybe a month that time. It is currently not working . Oh and they sent me the key and the mail and they put it in a regular envelope, and guess what the key fell out!! Do they had to then charge me more money to put new locks on it!!! It would be better off if you just throw whatever you have in the trash . Ill post pics of some wires that they just taped together instead of using crimps.

Had a Nintendo Switch that would not charge and the Game Guys repaired it. It was the basic $99 repair fee and they charged $35 for replacing a couple of bad charging chips. Works fine now. Good job Guys.

It is a great place, there are so many things you can do. They have old arcades, old comics, and they can even fix your old or new systems. The people there also are very cool to talk to about what they have and do, especially when they have something you like.

Very good service, they repaired my nintendo switch which I had taken to a cell phone workshop and they could not fix it, instead game guys fixed it on the same day, they contacted me to inform me of all the damages that my console had They are true experts in video game consoles, very professional and with a lot of experience.

We got to the outside of the place with little expectations by the outside. As there is little to no parking lot. Inside however it was well organized. Still being our first time there we were confused over some ways arcade machines were played.still the upstair area is more impressive but is lacking on some type of explanation like controller loans to play some of the systems. Will recommend playing here if you live near but after living past 10 miles is not worth it.

Took a Ps4 to get fix, they advise me it would be ready same day service just will take an hour for the process and after leaving the building I receive a call after 15 mins have pass THE ITEM IS READY for Pick-Up! Great Customer Service and will recommend to friends/family 👍

Picked up a 1st gen Sega CD attachment that wouldnt power up from a retro game shop in Cypress, brought the system to game guys to see if it was salvageable. Ruben and his entire staff were very knowledgeable and friendly with the entire experience. The only virtue they asked of me was my patience, as they have a lot of moving parts with their business. But I couldnt be happier to get this piece of gaming history restored and the finished product. They will most definitely get repeat business with me.

We had booked a party last year and we are so happy with the outcome that we decided to stop by again this year. We are not a fan of video games but we sure did have a good time with the kids. There are a lot of nice people that helped us and we also have to give points for the art. Very nice place overall.

I like this place. They plenty of games to play, and even some older systems as well. No quarters needed, just pay once up front, and enjoy. Id give it five stars, but my kids, 4 and 6 years old, think the music is too loud, so maybe a kids day would make this even better. More lighting and less music volume for their little ears.:)Thanks for having an arcade in Houston guys :)

Went here for the first time tonight with my husband and we had a blast! The staff was so friendly and they had so many different games to choose from. Dont forget to check out the upstairs too! Definitely coming back!

This place isnt exactly what I expected, but it was still fun. I cant speak for their repair services since I just came here for the arcade. They have two floors with all kinds of consoles and computers out. The first floor is mainly different arcade games, they even have an entire room with a projector dedicated to Rock Band or whatever that other guitar hero type game is called. There werent as many arcade games as I thought there was going to be, and I wouldnt even consider this place an arcade, but I dont think its even trying to be. The $10 each price (if you go with two people) is pretty reasonable so if you want to lose a few hours playing games with a friends, this place isnt terrible. They have VR as well but that will cost you extra, something like $15 for thirty minutes.

Best local and repair business. I came here with my family we had lots of fun especially the rock band room. Very neat and friendly staff. I recommend to come to this place.

The man at the front was super sweet and very helpful! He showed us around the game room and explained everything there was to know. The reason it wasnt 5 stars is because it is a little pricey for repairs, but hey, they got our ps4 out of there in 3 days so Im not complaining too much. Great place for the family to hang out at and friends to get together.

I love it here, I come a lot, main issue is that cs source isnt installed so gmod is very unpleasant in most servers.

Rented out the place and hosted a bachelor party here. With 7 relatively nerdy guys in their late twenties, there was more than enough to do/play for 6 hours. The staff was accommodating and we were given freedom to host party as wanted, which was the best part. Everyone had a good time - would recommend to others.

I loved the place. Everything was perfect and they had endless games. The only thing is there was no food. But awesome nonetheless.

Cool place to bring your gamer friends. All day pass lets you leave to grab food then come back.
