When I moved to Texas, I called in and asked them to give me the same auto coverage that I had in Wisconsin. The price was nearly DOUBLE what I was paying before, and I commented on this with surprise. The agents response was that we have more uninsured drivers in Texas, so the prices are higher. Well, that was complete BS, because it turns out they increased my liability levels FAR above what I had before and FAR above the legally-required minimums. I should have double-checked it online at the time, but their system took about a week to register the changes, and by then I was too busy with my new job in this new city to worry about it.So, they effectively scammed me with this for a year, before I bought a new car and ended up noticing that, on my old car worth $1k, they had enrolled me in every possible service at ridiculously high liability levels.So for my new car, I went around and got quotes from other companies, and found they were all about 30% cheaper with the same liability levels. When I pointed this out to the agent on the phone, he didnt make any effort to bring down my monthly price. Its clear theyre not interested in saving their customers money, by any means. Very different from the Allstate agency I was with in Wisconsin.2 stars instead of 1, only because they paid out on my renters policy without question when lightning damaged all of my electronics.

This place is a rip off. The rates are extremely high , they don’t try &match any price or even try to keep you as a customer. Avoid. I saved $90 by switching to Geico also full coverage.
