Mike arrived promptly and diagnosed our issue quickly. Instead of trying to string us along by making a repair on a dying machine, he provided a lot of helpful information about our machine that aided us in the decision to purchase a new one, as well as what would be a good brand to purchase. This was our second experience with the company and we have been impressed with the professionalism, knowledge, courteousness and pricing. Hope we don’t have to but would absolutely use them again.

Based on reviews, I called Mike out to come take a look at my dishwasher as it was no longer draining. I followed some instructions online and an attempt to try to fix it but I was unable to. Mike showed up he checked the drain tube, he ran a few tests, then he pulled out my drain pump from the bottom opened it up found a piece of broken glass and handed it to me. He had already purchased and brought another drain pump with him. He could have easily charged me for that other part and put it in and left but he was an honest man about his work. I highly recommend Mike.

The repairman did the job quickly (approximately 15 minutes). However, I was charged 150 for the services. The repairman was friendly probably because he knew he was robbing me blind, but it is what it is. My oven is fixed, but there is no fairness with this company. I would never recommend them. I regret not calling my initial choice. But you live and you learn.Response - Yes, this is the correct company. I do not have the wrong company. I dont want to go back and forth with your company. If you cant charge fair prices, initially, then there is no point in doing business with you. You have the money...so it is our loss and we have accepted it as that. Thanks for fixing my oven, but charging that type of money for 15 minutes of work is ridiculous. You charged more than a doctors office.

Horrible!! Horrible!! Horrible!!They were unable to fix a dishwasher that had a drainage issue and promised to come back and fix it once the dishwasher was pulled out and called back and stated they werent able to come out and repair it because it was too difficult.

Mike came over to repair my oven within a day of calling him. He was very nice, arrived within the window he told me he would, and repaired my oven in under an hour. Works great! Decent price too. I wasn’t sure what to expect as far as cost but Mike explained exactly what happened and fixed the issue on the spot. If I ever need another appliance fixed, I will call Mike at AHS again.

Because I work 60 + hours a week, Mike was able to facilitate a Sunday appointment which I greatly appreciated. He was able to identify that my issue was not with my washer, but with the electrical socket it was hooked up to. With his professional opinion, I was able to get reimbursed by my apartment complex for his visit due to their maintenance staff telling me the issue was my washer. Without Mike, I likely would have ended up spending significantly more money on repairing a washer that wasnt broken in the first place. Their fees are fair and their work is quality. I had called another company to repair my refrigerator and they had to come out twice but couldnt fix it. Jody came out with the parts and in a flash he switched out the main computer control and my refrigerator started right up. He was polite and efficient. I needed a repair man to fix my GE Dishwasher, because it wasnt draining the water. Called Appliance Home Service, and Barbara answered the phone, very cordial and friendly, and set my appt in no time. Mike came out - and the initial diagnosis was I needed a draining pump assembly. He ordered the part, and when it came in, he promptly came by, and began his work. But, upon beginning the work effort to install the new draining pump, Mike discovered (from his experience) that the draining hose, wasnt allowing any air to flow through. He quickly determined, that it wasnt the draining pump, but the drain line was clogged - and quickly removed the obstruction. My dishwasher is now working, as it did when I first got it, and the water drains as it should. The thing that I really like about Mike, is - he didnt make the issue, more than it was, and didnt charge me for something, I didnt need. I REALLY like that. An HONEST, friendly repairman. And I HIGHLY recommend him for all your home appliance needs. Yeah - he works on more than just dishwashers. THANK YOU, Mike for your very professional, HONEST, and efficient work. First impressions are everything, and I believe that even more true in this type of industry. My 2 year old Whirlpool Dishwaser would not complete the cycle, it would fill and empty the water, but no washing. I was going to go through a Certified Whirlpool company from Whirlpools Service Portal, but for $100+ bucks I decided to call around. This is the first place I called, and let me say, it was due to the wonderful reviews.I called to ask their service cost, which was much lower and I quickly decided to make an appointment. Little did I know, she did my information down and said a tech would call within an hour to set up an appointment time, I figured this was to ask more questions about the issue / problem so when they arrive they can be better prepared. Mike called within the hour, and said he could be at my house today between 2-4pm! He arrived not much later after 2pm and worked on the dishwasher the same day! I was so surprised for this awesome same day service.It was determined that it was the Control Board, which we suspected, that or the pump motor, the part can be ordered and sent from Dallas to us. Perfect.Great service and friendly. Truly recommend these guys.

I was very happy with the service. Technician was courteous and prompt. He repaired my Microwaves door which was the reason for the service call. But he didnt stop there, he heard my washer going and noticed it need to be balanced. He quickly got on the floor and balanced it, Free of charge. Wont hesitate to call them again if the need arises.

Had both Sub Zero 700 series refrigerator and freezer go out in Apr 2019. AHS came out for the initial diagnosis and then sent David from Appliance Pro to complete the repairs. Spent ~$1600 to replace freezer coil, reset the fridge, change a few light bulbs and was assured both units should be good for another 20yrs. In Aug the freezer went out again and now they are recommending another $400 to install an inline heater to prevent the coil from freezing?? Have tried to follow-up with them several times over the last month, but no one is returning my call. Very disappointed with the service, repairs and cost.

I have used this company many times and have really appreciated their customer service. Not all companies would be willing to come out on New Years Eve, but Mike was very qualified and helpful. They always seem to have the repair part on his truck so we didnt need to wait days for a repair. I called 6 companies before reaching Appliance Home Service. They were the only ones who, despite the hour (5 pm), were able to send someone out immediately to fix our refrigerator. Lucas was terrific - efficient, effective, knowledgeable and pleasant. He took time to explain what had gone wrong and how what he was doing would fix it. Had it fixed very quickly. It was full of food - all of which would have gone bad if wed had to wait until the following day. We will call and ask for him from now on - whenever we need an appliance repaired.

Appliance Home Service picked up my phone call about a broken washer at 7 pm on a Sunday night and had a tech call me first thing the next morning to schedule a time to come out. Jose was the tech and did a great job. He was able to move his schedule around to better accommodate mine, and he was very informative when examining my issue. He didnt try to oversell me on parts or service I didnt need, and he gave me pointers on things I could do to prolong the life of my washer. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and very courteous and told me to call his cellphone should any other issues arise. Overall a great experience.

I went on their website, filled out a request and by 8 am on Labor Day Lucas called and texted me to contact him. He told me when he would come that day (arrived 30 min. earlier than promised) and fixed my dish washer. He was very polite, personable and thorough. I could not have asked for better service or a better technician! The price was very reasonable and they didnt charge extra for coming out on a holiday which I totally appreciated. Also their flat fee includes all labor so you know what you are paying and there are no surprises! Appliance Home Service is where I am going next for ALL my appliance home repairs!

They were quick to respond to my call, actually diagnosed the problem on the phone and showed up with the part ready to repair my refrigerator. The tech was courteous and efficient. The new part was much nosier than the original, even though it was the same manufacturer, so I called a couple of days later to ask why. They came to investigate, agreed, and returned a few days later to replace it with a compatible part from a different manufacturer. I am very pleased.

Mike, with Appliance Home Service, did a great job repairing our Maytag refrigerator. Appliance Home Service was referred to us by Allied Home Warranty to do this repair on a rainy Friday afternoon. He made sure we had approval for the part needed to fix the refrigerator and that it was installed on that Friday. We did not have t go through the weekend without our refrigerator. August in Houston - Did a google search of local appliance repair services available in my area, reached out and received a callback the next morning from Barbara. He was honest and offered options and once a plan was set, had it resolved within a few hours (fix required part pickup and return). Our refrigerator quit cooling and freezing on a Friday. Late that afternoon, I checked the BBB website, which I like to do, and submitted info for 2 quotes from nearby companies. He was the first and only one to call back and he came in the next day, a Saturday morning, and replaced a relay and we were back to normal. Hes knowledgeable, professional, and quick. I hope I dont need his services often but would not hesitate to call him again.

They came out fast, fixed my dryer fast and were inexpensive. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I will use them again and again, being that I am sure my appliances will be sure to fail me in due time. The hinges and cables on my 8 year old dishwasher broke. However, Mike sent over Angel who did an excellent job. First of all, he called me to make sure it was okay to come over in the evening since he had another job that took longer than expected. Angel was able to get the dishwasher out from under the counter, replace the hinges and cables, and when he was finished, he left the kitchen as clean as it was before he came. In a nutshell, I recommend asking for Angel anytime you have an appliance that needs repair! Keep up the great work and the super employees you have, AHS!

Refrigerator leaked water due to clogged drain line. AHS technician (forgot his name, unfortunately) diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed by blowing hot steam through the drain with his portable steam generator. Quick, efficient and reasonably priced service!

We had a Sunday morning emergency with the oven and called several places. This company had a technician who confirmed a visit before the other companies, so we went with him. He was helpful, provided useful information while we waited for him to arrive, and quickly identified the problem and a solution along with a budget. Great!

We noted on Friday night that our ice maker had stopped making ice and when we checked the freezer we noted that the ice cream had also melted. I did some research and contacted Appliance Home Service around 08:00 Saturday morning to request onsite service. I was contacted by Mike and he was onsite by approximately 09:45 and diagnosed immediately that we had a failing compressor as the temperatures in the freezer and refrigerator were too high...though the compressor still seemed to be working...it was not completely dead. Mike stated he would check for an available compressor replacement and if there was one in stock he would be back on Monday to resolve the issue. Later on Saturday Mike contacted me to let me know that there was a compressor in stock but as a contingency he had also ordered one from Dallas. On Monday Mike called me to let me know that he would onsite between 12:00 and 15:00 to do the replacement. At approximately 13:00 Mike arrived onsite with another technician and they quickly replaced the failed compressor. I should mention that Mike told us during the original diagnosis that we should consider getting some dry ice to supplement the freezer and refrigerator temperatures until he could return to do the compressor replacement. This was a good tip and one that we used to our advantage. Now the repair is complete and the 10 year old LG French Door refrigerator is back in business without any loss of food...except for the refrozen ice cream. Fantastic service and we will certainly use their services in the future for any further appliance issues. Kudos for Appliance Home Repair for their quick response, quick repair, and great customer service. We gladly provide a terrific reference for this business.

Initially, I was pleased with the promptness of the technicians that came out to look at my washing machine at work. The leak didnt present itself on their visit. It was suggested that overloading or wrong detergent was the culprit possibly and to keep an eye on it. There was never a bolt unscrewed on my machine. They tightened the back of the unit to the dryer on top and looked at the back panel for soap residue (indication that the wrong soap was used).Now that I continue to have a leak issue (on a new floor put in), the technician wants to charge an additional service call. Of course, this was after 3 days of trying to get someone to come out or call me. He disagrees that they took the machine apart. I ask you this: How many customers has the technician seen since July? How many washing machine technicians have I seen since July? I think my memory may serve to be a little more accurate. The technician got irritated and yelled at me over the phone.I will not be called a liar basically and definitely wont be yelled at by any service person. I will not use this company again, Appliance Home Service via Barbara Summer. I warn future clients to be aware of my experience.

Our Whirlpool oven control panel was fried and Mike was able to make the repairs in time so we could have our Family Christmas Dinner in our home. The employees are polite, prompt and we are happy to recommend this business to our family and friends. Job well done, Mike!

We contracted this firm to repair our 1987 built in 550 Sub Zero. Yes we know it is old, but it is built in, and not easy to replace. Jerry came out multiple times, and replaced most every part. Jerry was very polite, and seemed competent, but after spending a few thousand dollars, it still does not work properly and now Jerry will not call us back after numerous attempts over a period of several months. To say I am disappointed in this firm, would be a gross understatement.

My refrigerator/ freezer went out on a holiday weekend. We called that morning at 10 am . A technician had repaired it by 11:30am. It was very reasonable. The technician also gave valuable info on maintenance and appliance tips. I will use AHS from now on!!!!!

I called them to install dishwasher but they are not a plumbing company. Miscommunication on my part, associate contacted supervisor and I was not charged for the appointment. I really appreciate the communication and effort by all team members.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I have never used an appliance repair company before, but my dishwasher was on the fritz. This was the 4th place I called after googling dishwasher repair, and the only company that could come out the same day. Within 2 1/2 hours of my initial call, my dishwasher was fixed. Being that I know nothing about appliances, they could have gouged me, but Jody the tech, let me know it was an easy fix. The cost as 60 bucks less than the estimate. I will use this company for any future appliance needs.

I had AHS come out and fix my ice maker and they were prompt, nice and well priced. I felt like they really informed me as to how to take care of my ice maker. Well-then I emptied the ice out and could not get it to turn back on. I called and Mike answered and told me to first look at the control panel and just see if there was a button to push. Well duh, I went home, pressed one button differently and it came on!I really appreciate that they did not just come out and charge me for a service charge and Mike was so nice. I highly recommend them.

Cant be worse than highway robbery. Scheduling was pleasant, but the service was plainly horrid and unprofessional. When the technician arrived at our business; a quick inspection was done and he plainly google the possible cause. Without opening the machine nor turn it around. The technician concluded that the circuit board has been fried and it would cost us ~$700 to fix.... The machine cost $650 brand new. We paid the $65 dollars call fee and the technician left. 2 days later we seek a second opinion from a different company, a technician that actually opens the console and inspect the machine. The only problem with the machine was that a plug came loose during washing cycles, due to vibration. Plug the loose end and viola nothing was wrong with it. Overall, stay away, highly unprofessional and legalized robbery.
