On my 3rd lease here and I love it ! It’s quiet and safe and most of all maintenance is amazing! Pablo and Hector are at my door before I can hit submit on my maintenance request! Always kind and very professional! Kimberly in the front office has been so helpful since the very first day 3 years ago that I walked in to inquire and that has not changed! Me and my son love it here 🥰

The apartments are nice and well kept in a desirable area. Kimberly is absolutely amazing, professional, kind, great communication, and does her job well!

After viewing seven apartments on 3/13/21 this place stands above the rest, the setting and environment is honestly breath taking my wife and I both fifty so we set I our ways but this we immediately gravitated to but unfortunately at this time we didn’t get approved which was very heart breaking especially since we are hard working middle age but it is what it is, Kimberly in the office alone is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Worthy by herself, I strongly advise anyone reading this to consider this place, and I’m picky as hell.... lol.... this is definitely the best place I visited gotta be honest, even if I can’t live there at the moment... 😞

Absolutely love the maintenance crew!! Pablo and his workers are some of the best out of all the apartments I’ve stayed in. Prompt and will make sure the issue is resolved. The maintenance staff were very prompt with resolving any issues that occurred. and the grounds were always very well kept and maintained. My Husband and I visited the property Today and were helped by a leasing agent named Kim. Kim was absolutely the best leasing agent weve met with during our search. She is so helpful and attentive to everyones needs. My husband can be very difficult, but he absolutely enjoyed her company. This property was extremely nice and will be at the top of our list knowing the type of staff that they have.

AC went out at 9:30 pm called to let maintenance know.. temp got up to 80 .. I was a little worried considering how late it was but Hector came and fixed the AC in 10 min.. Best maintenance EVER.. since I been here now a year only put 3 request in and they come the next day but tonight they came the SAME day. Considering the Houston HEAT .,Kim and Lavon are also one of the best very attentive and prompt and very professional. Thanks !!!

Nice community, quiet for most part but there is a pact of little kids that run around after school and nosy around other tenants vehicles, garages and even inside others garages but this isn’t this Comunity Management problem or wrong doing it’s the lack of parental responsibility from parents of underage children in this community who don’t care about the safety of their children which is sad and disturbing 🙁I like the location which provides headache free access to the Freeway. I love the layout of the apartment and there is no shortage of “humans best friends” , pets, these are my favorite “little people “❤️At first after I signed the Lease and received the keys there were some ups and downs but the Community manager Daniel got most of it back in place quickly. Thank you Daniel for your professionalism. Other staff is friendly and helpful and I hope that there were notes taken and that those responsible for the security part of preparation of the apartment for new tenants is better tended to .

I have been out of the water for 5 days i called the leasing office its going straight to message i called the emergency maintenance they said some units has water some units dont have water so he made a task for maintenance guy to come take a look but the maintenance guy still havent show up they are not giving us valid answer when we will get water the mud districts open the water since yesterday everyone around our community got the water we are still waiting. If its continued like this i might have to find somwwhere else to go If you are planning to move here think twice.

I have lived here for almost a year. Initially, the road was a little bumpy, but now, I can honestly say I enjoy coming home.Thanks in part to Leasing Consultant, Kimberly and Maintenance, Hector. With the changes in the property management, the Property Manager, Daniel has contributed to this turn around. Lastly, Assistant Manager, LaVonna has also played a role in my decision to nest a little longer here at the Villas.So, stop on by & schedule a visit. The staff is very friendly, professional, and courteous.

Came y with tons of questions and the staff graciously answered them all. This community will at the top of my list once I make my decision.

If I could give this place a negative star rating I would. I don’t usually write reviews, but people need to be warned. Be prepared for the worst maintenance in the world. My maintenance requests usually go unanswered for weeks and require numerous calls to follow up on them, even on things such as the AC not working in this heat. If and when someone comes to see about it, they put a bandaid on it instead of fixing the problem, which means every few weeks I’m submitting another maintenance request. The office staff never returns your calls or follows through with what they tell you they are going to do. It’s horrible. As soon as I locate another place, I am out of here. Renter beware! Don’t rent here!

Will not recommend anyone here. I went in to office today, the beat up remote control they gave me broke at the hook area and they are charging me $50 to replace, I would understand if the remote is brand new but this is so old and run down. Also it takes forever to open gates and garages. I had trouble from day one when I moved in. My carpet was not replaced after having residents living in the current apt for more than 7 years. The ac in my daughters room does not even cool(had to buy her a fan) or throw out heat, You can only imagine how it is in the summer time and winter. The person who was cleaning the carpet left it all stained and dirty, the list goes on. I am only here temporary and when I am able to leave I will. Kimberly and Necise were amazing , the only reason why I picked to live here. The manager as well. I regret making this my new home. Ask all questions necessary before singing that contract.

Thanks To the maintenance. They do a good job and quick to respond to work orders. Hector did a good job in my apartment when my AC ran out in the middle of the night. Got it fixed in less than 5 minutes. Thanks alot.

The rent will increase every year arround $100 in 3 years from $ 1050 to about $1300. Also when you come they will told you if put any nail you will need to fill it before leave and they will not charge you but after that they will charge you for that money when you leave also even if the carpet clean they will cahrge you .The employees at front office nice specially the Kimberly if I wrote here name right.The maintenance is good too.But they not loyal to there customer

This place is so nasty. We’ve had rats and roaches running all over the complex. They leave garbage out for months that pours over into people’s parking spots. Cars are always getting broken into. And the apartment manager yelled at my baby for crying in the front office. He was only 6 months old.

Visited family that just moved I to this complex. The apartment was very nice and clean. The grounds look well kept and very clean.

I have lived here for 3 years. My neighbors are friendly and cordial. Ive only had a couple of maintenance request since Ive been here and they were taken care of quickly. Anytime I have questions or concerns about anything I talk to Kimberly, shes very nice and very knowledgeable about anything within the community. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because with any business theres always room for improvement.

Nice apartments but probably the worst communication between tenants and staff that I’ve ever dealt with. Our apartment is a 1 bedroom and our ac can’t seem to keep it cool and the management team doesn’t seem to care. Constant 80+ degrees inside daily. We can’t even sleep under our comforter at night, it to mention the 300 dollar electric bill we are currently paying since our ac is currently always running. Thank god we’re closing on a house within the next month.... STAY FAR FAR AWAY FORM THIS PLACE!!!!

The only reason I’m giving them a one star is because I’ve tried to call them multiple times to get more leasing information since my work schedule conflicts with their business hours and I always end up getting the call center or whatever it’s called and they’re less than helpful. Definitely will be looking elsewhere where there’s better communication.

I have lived in this community for just over a year & a half, and I love it! Maintenance is always quick, and the complex is nice and quiet.The entire staff is great, but Kimberly really goes above & beyond to do the best she can for all current and future residents to make moving in, transferring, or renewing your least as stress-free as possible, making everyone feel at home.

Been living here for about a year and some change. Its a nice quiet community. The office manager is kinda snobby but you want deal with him that much if you do be ready. I will say the light of the office always smiling and will to help is Kimberly. From the day I did my application in last March to now. Kimberly has been a great help, she will do her best to help you, and keep u happy, she has great customer service skills and she is very patient while she is helping you.

I never in my life had to pay a $150 light bill for an apartment for a house that doesn’t even stay cool on daytime. Hollow walls and floors so you hear everything in this place.

My mom and I have lived here since Feb and we absolutely love it. Between the gorgeous apartments, exceptional maintenance staff, and by far the best leasing office out of any apartments Ived lived in, you couldnt ask for much more. Kim in the office really does go above and beyond to answer any questions or concerns and ensure that you are taken care of even after you move in. The complex is so clean and the neighbors are friendly. Anytime we put in a maintenance request in, it is completed by the end of day or next day and even the maintenance men here are so friendly and helpful its truly amazing. Im big on reading the reviews especially on places your considering moving to and that is why I wanted to ensure that I post this for others like me who take the time to do the research of properties and places. This complex has still exceeded what we were looking for and trust me it continues even after your moved in. They make it their job to ensure all of the tenants are happy and safe in their complex!

My family and I are new to the area and was in need of a change and a great place to live. We can honestly say that Villas at Huffmeister has been just that! We found out about Villas while driving through the area one afternoon and seeing the “for lease” sign. From the day we called and visited the leasing office, we were warmly and professionally greeted and attended to by one of the office staff, Neslie. She is awesome!!! She is friendly, polite, professional and personable!!! She made us feel very comfortable and at home! She was very attentive, honest and helpful with all of our questions and made our move-in an easy process. By far, this has been the best Leasing facility that we have lived in and we highly recommend this community to anyone that is in need of a great place to live! 😁

I have to give it a one star because of the manager. My renters insurance is not even expired, I have like 10 to 15 days to renew it and the manager send me a notice of LEASE VIOLATION. Seriously, thats not a violation since my insurance is still valid. Manager needs to know how to talk and engage with residents. Send a reminder not a violation. Customer service is the key here. Kimberly one of the best staff have work with in that office. You dont threaten people you try to talk and explain to them.

I have lived at the Villas at Huffmeister for almost two years and love it! It’s always quiet and I have not experienced any major problems in my apartment.. The staff has been nothing but exceptional to my needs and Kim always seems to go above and beyond for her residents. If I could give them more then five stars I definitely would.

Office staff are run expect Kim she is so sweet. They don’t fix anything I had to put in work order about 3-4 time before the send someone out. Back gate has been broken since Harvey and refused to fix now our cars are being broken into. Worse apartment I have ever lived in. Do not rent here it is a waste of Money and time.... can’t wait for my lease to be up!!!!

Im a current resident of Villas at Huffmeister. I relocated to Houston from out of state for work last year. Kimberly in the leasing office was great helping me through the leasing process long distance, and everything was ready when I arrived in town. I currently lease a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage, with HUGE closets and absolutely love it. I had planned on buying a home when my lease was up, but the deal fell through at the last minute. Again, it was Kimberly to the rescue. I wasnt able to keep my current apartment since it had already been pre-leased, but she got me all set up to move into a different 2 bedroom unit tomorrow. The few minor maintenance issues Ive had were corrected quickly, even the broken A/C that I discovered when I got home one evening just 15 minutes before the office closed. They had the maintenance guy there within the hour. Ive never had any problems with the neighbors, everyone is pretty quite and keeps to themselves. Theres a possibility that Ill have to relocate again for work next year, I hope I am able to find a place as great as the Villas At Huffmeister.

I have lived her 6 months now. This place is okay. The walls are pretty thin so you will hear your neighbors on every side even when they arent being very loud. This place is very close to a train track crossing that you can hear at all hours of the day and night which isnt great. It is suppose to be gated but the gate has been broken and open for like the last 4 months and doesnt look like it will be fixed any time soon. Maintenance here is hit and miss. Usually things get fixed promptly that need to be done soon. The slower stuff takes forever. Ive needed new window screens since moved in and still havent gotten them replaced. Ive been asking to get my hot water turned up along with my water pressure and both havent happened. So I currently cant take a bath. It gets cold before it is even half way full. I was suppose to get some of my floor replaced and that didnt happen either. For the smaller stuff things haven been fixed with a day or two. The overall all apartment isnt bad. Everything was working when moved in. I usually email and call the staff if i need them. They wont sign for any packages here. Over all it is just an okay experience.

Was skeptical to move in after reading such terrible ratings but have just about nearly finished my year and a few month lease and although they were a bit pricey, they were very nice. Have the 2 bed 2 car garage apt with 2 available spaces outside the garage making it very convenient as not all units have that accommodation with the same floor plan due to parking lot layout. Any issue that has been brought to the office regarding our apartment, was resolved within a day or two, not sure if the management when they first opened was different but as of 2014-2015 they have been nothing less than nice with us, we are in our mid 20s and have never felt any condescending vibe from them. renewing our lease soon definitely!

Beautiful RENOVATED apartments and townhomes. Great place to live. The staff is always amazing and attentive, the apartments are beautiful and spacious. Plus, being so close to 290  your in reach of some of the best food and all the great shopping Houston has to offer. Sarina is a rock star and you truly feel at home here.

More Than Happiness Catering and Special Events, LLC catered a Pool Party for their residents. They served Burgers, Chips, and Flavored Snow ConesBeth and Neslie were polite and very accommodating. There was a great resident turn out.

I lived at Villas at Huffmeister for two years and I never had any problems. After the 1st year I transferred to a larger apartment and I loved it. Lavona was there to help with my transfer, she was great she went out of her way to make sure everything went smooth.

THIS REVIEW deserves no STARS!!!have been in these apartments for almost 9 years now and never had trouble with the previous management. Ever since steadfast management took over these apartments this place has been nothing short of a hell hole. From the management to the management company are all a bunch of clowns from the IT movie. The office manager Andy has no people’s skills whatsoever and the office staff is a little better.The general maintenance staff is even worse can’t speak English and the ones that do don’t do any work I have had my ac unit not work in two days And me being from the HVAC field know what the problem is but the Einstein’s here haven’t figured it out as yet. This place is nothing but a GLORIFIED hell hole !!!!!! Don’t move here save yourself the pain and the money you’ll find better places for less that are much better!!!!!!........can’t wait for my lease to finish!!!!

I Been Staying at villas Apt. For Two Years and never had a problem. When I go to the office to pay my rent LAVONA Ask if everything alright.SHE IS VERY NICE.

Great place to stay & the staff is very friendly. Lavona is very helpful & understanding when it comes to paying rent on time. Any repairs needed on the apartment were done asap. Havent had any problems here.

I have been living here for two years and I’ve had a great experience. Any time me or my roomate had an issue that needed taken care of, we’d put in a maintenance request or call the office & it would be resolved within a day. Anything from our a/c having issues to us wanted the hedges near my front door cut to reduce bugs near my door, they took care of it in a timely manner each time. We had an issue with our downstairs neighbor complaining about us walking heavily and noise etc but its only my sister and I living here, no kids so she was being very exaggerative about the noise. She would use a broom to bang on our floor and sometimes disturbed our sleep. After months of complaints from both her and us, the manager set up a meeting with us and our downstairs neighbor and we were able to talk and get things resolved and she never bothered us again. The swimming pool is great and always clean. There is never any loud noises or music. Its a very quiet community. I love living here. The apartments are very spacious. Definitely worth the costs.

I enjoy the quietness and neatness of the property. The staff are nice, and although the office can be a little busy, they are good at returning emails and calls. To accomplish many things, you have to be patient and persistent. The staff are human too, so people should keep that in mind when putting in request. Communication is key, and they staff are great communicators. Neslie Ervin personally has been a big help to me and my daughter since day one.

I just spoke with Kimberly. Shes great! They didnt have what I was looking for, but she was quick to suggest other places and look up their numbers. Cant get better than that! Thank yall so much!

There are not enough negative stars to ever move here or extend my lease. Office manager and assistant managers are a joke. Super friendly before you sign your lease and then it all changes. Gates are always broken, pool was broken all summer. Received an email stating that break-ins were happening in cars and to make sure you lock your stuff. After that was received the gates were finally fixed after being broken for two weeks. They just got maintenance staff after firing or losing their whole staff. Its almost an additional $30-80 a month on top of your rent for pest, water, garbage and their collection fee. The garbage cans are always littered with garbage around them. People also walk and pull on gates which break them but the camera is too old to catch anything. Dont waste your time here.

We have lived here for four years and we been a faithful customer. We like to thank the management for being very kind to us. We just experience a lost my mom and sister and the manager is very helpful and understanding. Thanks Villas of Huffmeister.

If I could give negative stars I would. My mom and I have lived in these apartments for 3 years while I attended Cy Falls HS. The first two years were great, but after the new management has taken over everything sucks. Workout equipment is always broken, the pool area isnt cleaned as often as it used to be, the gates are ALWAYS broken, there have been break-ins, and the rent continues to go up (the house we lived in before was a lot cheaper). I came in to pick up my package that was delivered to the office. The Mexican woman walked in the mail room room then walked straight out and said are you sure you have a package? Because I dont see anything. Theres a stack of boxes that you can look through to see if you find it. I found the box in less than 5 seconds. Ever since management has changed, everything has went downhill. DO NOT MOVE HERE. There are way better places to live than this.

The place is awesome!! We moved to Houston and this was our home for almost 3 years, now we are relocating and is the only reason we are moving.. my family and friends love this place and we fully recommmed it. The best employee is Kimberly, our leasing agent, she is always there when you need support, she is the best of the best... Lived here for 5 years and it was surely a place to call home. Never had any major issues-- any issues or concerns were handled abruptly. Loved the new management team because they listen and take the time to understand concerns!

I visited Villas at Huffmeister today and was greeted by a young lady named Lavona she was very sweet. Lavona answered all the questions I had and seemed very knowledgeable about the property. She showed me a two bedroom apartment, that was nice and clean. Im not looking to move until August, but this property is at the top of my list.

Nichole here...great community. Staff is always helpful. Kimberly is typically my go to person for anything. She always takes care of any requests I have right away!Only thing I can say, is my vehicle was broken into as soon as summer started this year and my other vehicle was rummaged through when I first moved in. Only money and cologne was taken out this last time. My fault for leaving that stuff in there. I can chalk that up to kiddos with time on their hands late at night. Maybe a patrol officer, or neighborhood watch would be helpful, or time restrictions on how late minors can be out walking the property.

I love my apartment and this a great complex. The staff is always so helpful and friendly. Kim, Lavona and Neslie are the best. I’ve been here over and a year and can see myself staying here for quite awhile. I highly recommended Villas at Huffmeister!

Do they ever answer their phone? Ive been trying to get a hold with the office for the last week. Sending emails with call center and leaving voice-mail. My call gets transferred to the call center and they are not helpful at all. I guess thats a sign i should be looking somewhere else.

Took two weeks for them to get our unit finished when we were rushed and promised a ready unit to begin with

Talked to Kimberly about leasing a 2 bedroom apartment here. Even though we didnt move forward but the whole process was good. She was very nice of explaining and showing us the apartment..

RUN FAR AWAY!! READ THE REVIEWS!!!!Horrible, horrible, horrible place to live. The apartments are nice but once you move in youre in for a million problems. We have had infestations of every type of bug you can imagine. Our apartment has been flooded numerous times.All while the staff do NOTHING!!! Andy is the most condescending person and has no customer service skills what so ever. I read the reviews before I moved in and thought, this wont happen to me, but it will! It will happen to you and you will be stuck in a contract. Gates always broke, trash is constantly over flowing, and bugs are every where.

I have lived in the community for 2.5 yrs and I have had no issues. Lavonna is awesome! She is very helpful and always pleasant!

I came by here to look at the apartments because I need a place by February. The leasing agent at the front didnt properly greet me. She was rude and was giving me a dirty look the whole time. Questioned me if I can afford $1067/month and talked to me about having low credit. To cut things short, she treated me like a little kid that is wasting her time. I am 25 with a great career and the dirty looks and how she spoke to me was uncalled for. We asked her if they had any sister properties and she asked us why do we need to know? We said we are shopping around and wanted to take a look at them. She said every floor plan and price is the same. all sister properties are the same so why would we need to look at them. We asked her for a list she said we can look it up online. My boyfriend and I decided to just walk out the office without a good-bye. We would never rent at a place that doesnt even treat us well/ or have good customer service.

Got surprised July 4th weekend with 2 men knocking on my door who didnt speak english who best i could tell needed to come in and do some work. Thats fine come in and do what you have to do. Little did i know they need to basically pull my entire bathroom apart and it takes almost 8 hours start to finish. No warning from management this had to happen. The guys left a mess through out the entire apartment and the house smelled like weed. Called management and never heard back from them about the matter. The batthroom still needs to be painted. Calling doesnt help bad reviews on google have gotten their attention before so heres to trying.

Went here today be careful with your deposit because they wont give it back. I applied today and because I failed to mention something I didnt know and left blank I basically forfeited my deposit. There is nothing nice about a leasing company taking money from people trying to find a place to live. They must be more in need of money than me. I consider them thieves! WORD OF CAUTION when filling out application.

Never had such a WORST experience with a Manager before.I am a Manager by myself.She is rude and she dont know how to talk to there customers at all.The Management should look into it.Some of the things i have brought to there attention:They have one of the gates broken,its been 3 weeks, i have complained twice,no one fixed it.The gate is open day/night.anybody can come in and out.They should think about the security of the Community.The treadmill in the gym is broken,I have complained about it ,Its still not fixed.At night time there are no lights around the pool, i have suggested them to have more lights, so the families and children can come and enjoy there.but they are still thinking about it.I have complained about people smoking bad stuff around the pool,and nothing was done about it.The pool table is not accessible after 5 or 6 pm.so whats the point having it if you are unable to access it after your working hours.Make sure you have everything they say in Writing,nothing verbal. Because they are going to deny everything later on. As they did to me.

Went to go visit them to check our their rates and they quoted us more then what was on their own website. Havent even moved in and already they tried to rip us off!! They had $15/ pet fee with $300 non refundable on their website and in person they told us $25 a month and $400 non refundable fee.Theses people will rip you off, stay away!

There is absolutely nothing good about this place. Management is extremely unprofessional and unorganized. They NEVER answer their phone and office hours posted are clearly inaccurate. Getting through to them is impossible. When my family moved in the washing machine and dish washer did not work, nor did my disposal or thermostat. Theyre in no hurry to have maintenance fix anything as we have lived here 5 months and just had our washing machine replaced. Also, the gym is horrible; not a single piece of equipment is functionable. Said they were ordering new equipment months ago... Havent seen it yet. This IS NOT luxury living. There are break ins, people drive through going 50 mph, and there is absolutely no point of living in a gated community when management leaves them open most of the time. When something is brought to their attention they brush it off and give no regard. The managers have no grace and they are extremely rude. I have never been treated so poorly. This is just a small portion of our trouble with this place and its workers. Cannot wait for our lease to be up. If youre looking for a place to live I suggest you look on, you will be mistreated and miserable here.

I have lived here for 4 months and besides the normal disturbances one would expect from living in an apartment complex, everything has been pleasant. Ive put in about 10 maintenance requests (for minor jobs) and each one was attended to in a timely manner. Our apartment has been well maintained and have seen NO signs of bugs/rodents of any kind. The landscaping company is onsite regularly to ensure the upkeep of the grounds and the staff has always been helpful. Alicia was a pleasure to work with while leasing and Amanda has always been available to address any issues Ive had. I would (and have) referred family and friends to VAH.

This opportunity came for Us at the right time! As far as future improvements, I have suggestions for management review - These my be already known issues or already being worked on. Making sure that the gate is secure and working at its best to help maintain safety for all families. Check out the gym equipment near the Office area, since a few pieces may be missing from the equipments. Review lighting at night for areas that may need more.Property Patrol - May help in any property to make sure the rules are being implemented. Help to communicate cleanliness on the property where trash may be dropped at night. Tenant meetings may help also. What about a Neighborhood Watch, is there one available. I shouldve posted this sooner, since I usually check reviews before moving in. Ive lived here for the past two years and the Villas at Huffmeister have not disappointed one bit. Maintenance has taken care of any requests promptly. Leasing staff are always friendly and ready to help even when they are new employees. I love the layout of my one bedroom, nice walk in closet and spacious garage. The fact that they are a small community is incredible, you dont get the influx of cars coming in and out. Most importantly, Ive always felt safe. Ive jogged around the complex with no worries. Ive even walked to the Pho&More place acrosd the street safely.The only complaint you may see is the side access gate being broken.The apts do their best to repair it and someone keeps jamming it. Either way, still 5 out of 5 for me.

I Love my Apts I’ve been here a year n a half and they have been very Good to me I’ve had No Problems in my Apt Any time I need help Lavona is always there to help

I cannot give a review of the actual complex, as I have not lived here, but while inquiring about it, Lavona, the properties assistant manager, was extremely helpful in showing me what was available for my move date and was extremely helpful with every single question (and I had lots of them)

Great place to live. Quiet and cozy, upgrade appliances and spacey floor plans. Managemebt has underwent some vhanges for the better.

I was trying to get information about the complex. It is 10:30 on Saturday and the office is not open. They are supposed to open at 10:00 am. Guess I will not be moving here since they have no concept of time management.

I am only giving a 5 because Lavonna. Without her I would be gone

If you are looking for a professional environment and great customer service, Villas at Huffmeister is NOT a place to go. After starting my application process in September and given an apartment number I get a call from the manager two weeks before I move to tell me I wasnt approved. I spoke with the office personnel numerous times between the initial meeting, they cashed my deposit and kept telling me how they were excited to have me and not once did anyone say my application was still pending or anything. The manager was extremely rude and unapologetic about their 2 month approval process or lack of communication. I was also taken aback when she YELLED at me to stop breaking leases when she didnt even have her facts straight. I have to now look for another place to be in two weeks with no thanks to them. I totally thought this place was nice and would be a great start for my daughter and myself but apparently the staff there has created an undesirable place to live or call home. I wouldnt recommend anyone there and whoever is managing the staff, you might want to do some training on how to treat customers. I saw the reviews and didnt want to believe the things people were saying until now.

I will say that they have been pretty good in coming to correcting stuff in my home and Ms. Lavonda Thomas from day o e has reallly been a blessing.

Since Ownership and Management has taken over this complex has gone down hill. The customer service is not helpful, not professional and is never the same. The upkeep of the complex has also taken a step back because of management. I do not recommend living here.

Been living here since January and I have had no problems ...mantinace has always been on point. Thankfully they hired Neslie Ervin so Kim wouldn’t have to be the only star employee. Kim always goes above and beyond and took charge in my application process ... I was dealing with the previous employee Giovanni who was terrible at following up or explaining further details or left me hanging and Kim was there to fill in all my questions and concerns. So that being said hiring Neslie is a great way to keep the team strong. Neslie is very friendly and has a welcoming demeanor. There is another women there that is great , but I have had no personal experience with her other than a “how you doing?”

Roaches during my move in. Incomplete bath and toilet, electric fixtures missing pieces, wasp nests all over, just to say the least. The manager , short fat guy refused to let me move to another cleaner apartment. Their pest control did not work even after weekly fumigation. i eventually hired a different pest control company on the forth week. bad. bad. Be warned.

If you lived here, always keep in your mind that you can get robber anytime by some body said they have right to get into your apartment. Secure yourself and your apartment by cameras or even by something on “fire”.

Lavona is the MOST HELPFUL person ever!!! She made living in the complex a pleasure!!!

Manager is extremely overweight and rude (smoker), talks about irrelevant things and pretends to not see you and ignores customers/potential employees. Everyone that works there is fat, lazy and rude. If you dont believe about the fat part go in for yourself. Youll get one word responses, no help what so ever. Minute you walk in the door no one greets you and has the nerve to stay seated and eyes looking everywhere else other than the customer. Hints too obese and lazy to get up.

DO NOT rent an apartment from these people. They are nice and helpful at first and then they will NOT take care of any maintenance issues!!!

Worst place to live in!In 2014, I was searching for a great complex to live in. I came across VAH and really liked the atmosphere of the complex. We walked in and Christian and Amanda were very helpful with the process, patient as well (we didnt make a decision for about 2 months). Once we made the decision to move, we chose VAH. When we moved my guy was out of the country and Amanda offered a deal with the moving company to provide me with a 2hr free of charge, anything after that was on me. Once my guy came back he loved it. I knew I had made the right decision.BUT Just months after, horrible! Neighbors apt were being broken into, cops were being called out every night, neighbors fighting, screaming and throwing things. Beer bottles were being thrown in front of my door (I lived in a corner apt where traffic is high), cigarette buds, trash hell dirty diapers!! I regretted moving there. Neighbors were moving in and moving out withing 3mths of living there.The gate has & is always broken! The office seems to be a revolving door - every time I call (and when I get someone on the phone) its a different person.People drive like its a race track going 50mph. Trash is just being thrown on the side instead of the actual trash container!When our 2nd year was about to expire, we figured they would send us a 60 day notice (as Ive gotten before). With life in the way, I realized 30days before our lease was going to expire and noticed no one ever contacted us. So we went to talk to them and they had forgotten to give us a 60 day notice; luckily they left our rent at the same price.. The ONLY reason why we stayed a second year. This 3rd year is a Definite HELL NO!! It only took 45days for someone to respond to my 60 day notice, FINALLY was able to speak to someone just this week!Final rant - DO NO MOVE HERE!!! Poor Management, UNSAFE & UNRELIABLE!!!To add to the review, after we moved out it was the worse experience we have ever gone through. We had a schedule move out date/time to ONLY find out that Lauren refused to conduct the walk-through; she was too busy gossiping on a phone call. I went and took pictures of the apartment so there was no misunderstanding and hidden fees. 2-3 weeks later I contacted, not them, the Property Manager, Andy Benavidez; which by the way should NOT be in the Leasing industry. To only find out that we were being charged of a ridiculous fee. When I asked for proof of the damages he couldnt respond or provide me with information other than that is what our Cleaning crew provided us with so clearly no one in the office conducted a walk-through. No walk-through was ever made, it was in fact denied and when asked for proof, no proof can and could be obtained. I STRONGLY suggest if you are looking to move here, you are better of moving down the street and pay a little extra. The new apt across Hwy6 are very nice, I would pay their fee anytime before considering VAH as a home!!!

I am writing this review for a friend of mine that has lived in this apartment complex for the past 5 years. He has trouble with the computer, so he asked me to assist.He states that every year when its time to renew the lease, it doesnt matter how timely your payments are or how good a tenant you may be, your rate WILL go up. Be prepared to pay $35 for comcast whether you use Comcast or not. He also says that he tried getting Direct TV set up and was told that he did not need a deposit and renters insurance for it. By the time Direct TV arrived, he was turned away by front office because you DO need a $100 deposit AND renters insurance. They do not allow you to install on roof, ground or side of the building. You MUST purchase a bucket, fill it with cement and stick it on your porch. If your porch does not face the south, you are screwed.Management does not care about their tenants, they will nickel and dime you for everything!Furthermore, there is only 1 dumpster for the entire complex and its consistantly full and over flowing. People begin throwing their trash outside of the dumpster which is a health hazard and will attract rodents!!

I have been living here for about 2 yrs and I havent had any major complaints. I usually dont walk in the office much but when I do, Kimberly has always been a great help. Thank you Kimberly!

Great Complex.

It sucks there service is horrible do not come on time and if do has a lowsy job if doing it and they wont let your children sit in the office and wait they are horrible just because some kid broke a picture.they say u have to sit outside in the cold / hot sun beware villas at huffmister also they lock it if they try to come in
