Waited over a year to give a accurate review, I’ll keep it simple.Pros:- Great Location- Decent sized units- Pet Friendly- Ms. Ernestine in the office! She is friendly and always a good help in resolving issues.- Amenities: Pool, Gym, Dog Park, Courtyard with BBQ Grilles- Quick Maintenance responseCons:- Hallways are severely neglected and are never cleaned. Dirt, scum, and even urine and feces has a permanent home on the floors.- Elevator is always down and the inside is full of graffiti which maintenance could have simply painted by now.- Gate is always broken(and 2 other door entrances) leaving easy access to cars and units. There have been several car break ins, license plate thefts, ect. The garage itself has no speed limit postings so you have to practically dodge car accidents upon entering & exiting.- Parking is full by 8pm. Even if you get a reserved spot people will still park in your spot and you can’t tow because the contract has expired per tow company.- Maintenance guy recently stole a gift card from my desk. Never had any other issues besides that but it really p***** me off.Overall it’s and Ok place to live. Keep in mind Galleria Parc (formerly Century Galleria Lofts) has just been acquired by Shoregate and is under new management as of recent. So hopefully they are working diligently to fix the cons.*things that could be improved*-painting elevator walls-scrubbing of hall floors by a professional cleaning service-repair dog park door and front entrance door-hire on site security

I really appreciate the efforts of the new leasing team who working hard to change a lot of things to the best and these is clearly noticed in the apartment complex such as the maintenance, buidling cleaning and the quick response for many inquiries, I feel that I am living in a family apartment complex, cheers Natalie, Kristina and Earnestine.

DO NOT LIVE HEREI lived at this complex for 3 years and you can get so much more for the price. Not worth it at all. I had my apartment BROKEN INTO!! The door kicked in while I was not home.. Packages left at my door several times only to be stolen. Packages left at the office never to be notified of. I still have PTSD from all of my valuables getting stolen. Moved somewhere with actual security. The hallways are disgusting and the gate never works.TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

I strongly do not recommend this apartment complex. A few reasons.Front office staff is not very friendly to their tenants. I have called several times and they have not been nice. The gate at the garage never works, which honestly I don’t care a whole lot about, but they shouldn’t say they have one and advertise they have one if it never works, I consider that a scam. The gym has been missing equipment since I have moved in. Again I have been paying things all year that I did not receive. For the price I am paying I could receive much better - and have received much betterBased on what is advertised at this location and what is actually received, I would call this a borderline scam.I will say the only nice thing I liked about this place is there is a really friendly police officer who lives there that helps out and one very nice maintenance worker.

Ive been living here since December 11th and have had a horrible experience. The leasing process was a nightmare seeing that the move in date was pushed back because the existing tenants hadnt even vacated the apartment. Literally went back and forth with management several times and had to show up in person in order to get them to finally send me the deposit amount along with the lease which i received a day or two before i moved in. There was claims of pest control treating the apartment however i encountered several roaches after moving in until pest control treated the unit again. My car was robbed the first night of moving in. Somehow ,my catalytic converter was stolen in the garage and no camera footage has been reviewed. They will tell you theres a security guard but after a month of living here neither i or my roomates has seen him once. I filed a police report and the leasing office never got back to me after i expressed how i was out of a car my first night living there. The gate does not close and has not been closed the entire month ive been here. If you think this is a gated community , it is NOT. Ive been told that its been fixed several times and it breaks the same day which i find that incredibly hard to believe. My mailbox doesnt even lock. Ive found it open several times seeing that you dont even need to insert my key to open it. Lastly I go out to my car to find white paint on the side and all im asking is to check the footage to see if it was something that occured in the garage or if it was already there when i drove in. But instead of checking the cameras they insist that it has been there. The camera next to my car is literally dangling downwards but they will insist that the cameras work. Not to mention the gym is a pretty sorry excuse considering the machines dont work properly. This community is a disorganized, unprofessional joke. The leasing office lacks basic customer service skills. The units themselves are beautiful although the appliances are a bit dated , however id rather a safe community that actually feels luxury.

The managers are not helpful and not friendly. There was a door at the bottom of the stairs that has been open and broken for months and never fixed. My daughter and her roomate have called on many items to be repaired such as vent spitting out mold looking debris, toilet broken, washer needing repair, water damage on wall and has taken months or fixed themselves. The gate which was supposed to be locked to parking was open for months - not secure. The hallways are disgusting and no cleaning at all. This place is horrible and they are have not been in compliant with the agreement that was signed to rent. I would not rent from this place at all. It is horribly managed.

So, I used to be a resident here, and I have since moved away, over a year ago....long story short I had three online orders to deliver at my old address 3363 McCue. I called and spoke with Miss Earnestine and she was so helpful in assisting me!! She made contact with the new resident in old apartment and had confirm that she did in fact receive my packages. I was able to receive all of my packages without any issues. This is a story of good people, doing the right things for a stranger. I appreciate all that Miss Earnestine and the new resident did in assisting me in a one-off - bad delivery service by UPS and the online company!!Thank you both for being Good People and Caring and may this karma come back to you in a great way!!

I have lived at the Century Galleria Lofts for the past two years and I just signed my lease for a third year. I really love this location and both apartments that I leased. I lived on the fourth floor with a balcony facing the courtyard and now I live on the first floor with a balcony facing the pool. The apartments are large, with spacious closets and bathrooms. I have more than enough storage for one person and parking is never an issue.Year 3.5 Update: It’s wild over here. Since Yolanda and Cherelle left, everything had gone down hill. The gates have been broken since FOREVER. People AirBNB their apartments which means there are random people in the halls and parking garage all the time. People don’t clean up after their pets. The elevator was broken for over 4 months. Also, someone had tagged the parking deck.

So today this complex decided to have its fire inspection, which I is totally fine & understandable, except for the fact the they didn’t mention that the fire alarms would be going off in the entire complex for the entire day. I really hope none of you left your pets at home today thinking they would be alright. I’ve never lived in a complex that part of their inspection was firing off the sirens for 10 hours !!! Also, no one that worked in the office knew that there was no notification sent out to the residents & their only response is “there’s nothing we can do about it” ummm I think you could have it rescheduled with a properly informed email to your residents clarifying the day while also informing them the the noise will be ALL day so that people with jobs can arrange to have their pets taken elsewhere! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! I can only assume that with this type of inconsideration, the residents get more than just an I’m sorry email in return 🤯

This complex has the worst maintenance I have ever experienced. Maintenance take forever (about 3 weeks) to take care of our requests and whenever they “fix” the issue, appliances do not work properly. I’ve put three maintenance requests so far on the same appliances (dryer and stove) and I’m still having issues with them.UPDATE:1. The elevator has been broken for WEEKS and keep in mind this is the only elevator in the complex.2. The gate NEVER works so definitely this is NOT a “gated” community. When I complained about it to the Leasing Office and asked why it has not been replaced, their response was because “it is too expensive.”3. Since the gate stays open (cause it never works) I’ve gotten my mail stolen/lost multiple times.4. They keep saying they’ll clean the breezeways and it just hasn’t been done. There are stains EVERYWHERE and the smell is just not pleasant.

I have been living at Century for 2 years now, and I can say that I really enjoy living here. First the location is perfect right next to the Galleria and 59/610, so it’s easy to get on the freeway. The landscaping on the property is really nice and they are repainting the halls. The pool is a nice size and the best place to go during the summer time when it’s hot. I’m happy that the gate is fixed, because that was a major issue for awhile. I like to work out a lot and the gym is perfect. The gym is very spacious and gives you enough room to workout plus it’s never too crowded if you don’t like exercising with a lot of people. The complex has fun resident events throughout the year which is cool to go to.The 1 bedroom with a study is perfect for anyone living by themselves or a couple. There is a ton of space to move around and it’s very spacious if you have large furniture like I do. The staff starting with Yolanda and Chanelle are really amazing. Anytime I have an issue they always have it taken care of ASAP and they care about the residents. The maintenance team does a great job fixing things in the apartment and they double check to make sure that everything is right.Overall this is a great place to live. Great location, price, events and amazing staff !

This place is terrible to live in. I signed the apartment as I work as a tax accountant and signed during busy season. My lease was ending and I rushed to sign as I had no time to look since I worked on Saturdays as well.Upon moving in, I noticed nothing was cleaned. There was dust everywhere, dead cockroaches lying around, the refrigerator was disgusting, not to mention the dishwasher still contained chunks of what I assumed to be food. I cleaned each item as I figured it would be faster than requesting maintenance. Within 1 week, the light bulbs went out. I wait until the end of the month to submit the request as Im usually working, and this doesnt bother me too much. After submitting a request for two more light bulbs going out, I receive a note that its the residence responsibility to replace. I have never lived in an apartment complex where the management is this cheap. On top of that... they should be able to write this off as an expense so I dont even see why this is an issue.Furthermore, I left my trash out for Valet as I work full time and dont return home at times until after 9 pm. I receive an email, a phone call and a note on my door about not leaving trash otherwise I would be charged, which I completely understand. Apparently they have time to write all these notices but no time to pick up the trash. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.Last thing, I walked in to their front office to pick up a package and see the leasing agent grinding on what I assume to be the UPS delivery man, so this should show how professional they are in handling matters relating to tenants. I was about to let all this slide, but the accumulation of all these problems shouldnt be pushed aside... especially since Im experiencing the issues after only 1 month of being here. I cant wait for this lease to end.

Recently the complex experienced water issues with the city and the management team at Century Galleria Lofts stayed on top of things and did a great job communicating with tenants. We received updates through out the day on the status of the repairs and the team also empathized with the tenants experience with the City of Houston. I just moved in! I like the apartments in general I would have to say it’s kind of noisy and I think that’s because the walls are really thin between you and your neighbors. And I think the appliances and cabinets are a little old fashioned for the type of apartments these are. Other than that these aren’t bad and Yolanda is very sweet and helpful anytime I have needed anything. And maintenance was very quick with their serviceUpdate: 2 months in and I feel like rent is entirely to high to stay here there is nothing luxurious about it and it’s not a lofty feel to it. These are ghetto, every since Yolanda left the gate has not been fixed and now the elevator is in and out of service, the people above me are extremely loud and I have complained about this many of times. I thought the century smart home was cool but it seems like they’re procrastinating with that. The halls aren’t painted fully and it looks extremely tacky. And again the cabinets and appliances are very old fashioned please do not pay for nothing. There are plenty of nice apartments around here for the same price that are way nicer

When we asked what they would do they said There is nothing we can do about it.The apartment and facilities are great but management can be extremely lacking sometimes. I have been renting in luxury apartment complexes for almost 10 years and none of my negative experiences in the past compares to what I had to deal with Century Galleria Lofts. I have been living here for 6 months and the level of incompetency by the management is unbelievable! It is suppose to be a gated community, but the gate has been broken 3 different times and it takes them a month to fix it every time. My apartment was broken into during one of the times that the gate was broken and their only response was, Thats why we ask all of our residents to get renters insurance. They also seem to have no concern for the maintenance of the apartment complex. For example, one day there was NO WATER for over 12 hours because they did not take care of a water pipe. Another day, there was NO ELECTRICITY FOR THE ENTIRE COMPLEX from the time I came home at 6 to past midnight. There was no email notification, no manager letting the residence know what was going on, nothing. Furthermore, during a rainy night, water was entering my apartment and I called the emergency number... no answer or call back. There is a very suspicious high number of turnover in the management office. I feel like there is a new manager, staff and maintenance personnel every month or so and its probably because you need more than 3-4 people to run a successful apartment complex.

The people with good experiences arent posting and there is a lot of good in the Century Galleria Lofts, including a strong management team in place. When I moved in the postings about the situations were 100% relevant, but not so anymore. Yolanda and her team have created an atmosphere that is communicative, clean and controlled. They walked into a difficult situation and have managed to turn it around. The maintenance department is one of the friendliest and hardest working groups I have ever seen. The office staff goes above and beyond, even running to my apartment to check on it after my dog knocked down security camera and I overreacted. There are issues, but they come with living in a metropolitan area that is that close to freeway exits. That is part of living in Houston and shouldnt reflect on the management. Also, the gates, they break because because cars are trying to follow others in hit them. The office staff works diligently to have the company out there to fix them.I just didnt want all the negative reviews to deter some great people from moving in. My brick walls stun everyone!

SAVE YOUR MONEY & YOUR TIME! Ive lived here for about a year and a half and recently renewed my lease. If I wouldve known how bad the new property management at this complex (including the maintenance) was, I wouldve never renewed my lease here! When I first moved here the leasing staff was AMAZING! Ginger, the Manager, and Rachael were wonderful and had the place under control! However, after the property got bought out and became Century Galleria Lofts, all of the leasing staff left to another property under the old management property. After they left, all the wonderful things about this place were GONE! The previous maintenance staff was just OK, but the management made up for it. Now, every time I walk into the leasing office its a new person I talk to and the maintenance staff is also different every time! I dont want a random person every time I open up a ticket walking into my apartment! A few of the CONS about this place now are listed below.* New leasing staff every time I walk in and their excuse for everything is Im new here, sorry. Dont expect to get anything useful or done from them!* Maintenance staff is the worst Ive ever experienced in all of the apartments Ive lived at! If you open a ticket, dont expect for it to be completed anytime soon. I would say if you get it taken care of in 3 weeks, you are lucky! I opened a ticket months ago for a water filter, the simplest of requests, and to this day I have no water filter. Turns out the previous maintenance person that came in here took my old water filter to order the replacement and didnt even bother to notify us, so we have been drinking tap water for the past couple of months! Gross! I pay way too much rent for the absolute worst service here!* The parking garage gate has been broken for longer than its been functioning since I moved in. It has now been at least 9 months that the garage gate has been broken! But wait, dont go into the leasing office to ask about it because all they say is we are currently in the process of getting it fixed. Its all LIES! Do not list this property as a gated community and make people pay for it when in reality its NOT, and the people here dont care to fix it! Note, they did at some point hire security for the weekends ONLY, but they are just as useless! They sit in their car, talk on the phone, watch videos, or sleep! They do not make sure cars going in have a sticker much less flags cars down to ask if they are visitors! The money this property is paying for the useless security on Friday and Saturday nights should be used to install a garage gate that actually works!* Parking in the parking garage is annoying after 6pm! Visitors do not care that they must park on the garage roof, so they park everywhere. Management here does nothing about it when you complain either, so save your time going to the leasing office again.* Tenants dogs pee & poop everywhere and dont clean after their pets! Its absolutely disgusting! There are no rules enforced here on keeping the property clean! The hallways always have pee everywhere and smell so bad when walking the hallways to the parking garage.* The entrance key pad has never worked to let guests in either, but wait, they can walk in anyway because the parking garage gate is ALWAYS open!* Fruit flies love the complex! Doesnt matter what I do, fruit flies are always around the complex and get into the apartment! Probably because the sewer system is right next to this complex!* Robbery. As the garage gate is always open, be careful with your stuff! One night I drove into the parking garage and a truck was sitting on cinder blocks! Another persons car had their windows shattered and broken into! The leasing staff & management company dont care what happens to this complex or if the tenants are happy! Its so sad to see such a beautiful complex with wood floors, brick accent walls, and spacious living space get so run down the past year!

I lived at Century Galleria Lofts for a year. I enjoyed the area and the location of the apartments (Close proximity to the highways). However, the parking was annoying if your apartment ( apartment door entrance) was not close to the parking garage. Taking groceries in to the apartment was a pain ! Especially if your apartment was located by the pool area. (I had to use a shopping utility cart to carry the groceries). Finding parking was not hard or ever an issue as there was always spaces available. In addition, I never had any issues with the other tenants parking (Again, Im only speaking about the first floor in the garage due to the fact that you would have to park in the level where your apartment was located) In regards to the elevator, I didnt have issues due to being in the first floor;however, I did notice the elevators where out of service every now and then during the year;however, the office usually solved the problem quickly. Now for the famous gate issues......... For the year living there , it always seemed as if there was a problem with the gate. They would fix the gate and a month later it would be malfunctioning or out for repairs. The whole time living there the gate worked about half the year, but honestly I really didnt think it was a big deal due to the apartments being located in good area. What I really did not like was the trash only being picked up Monday-Thursday and Sunday. If I am paying for a service that is added to the rent every month, then I expect for the service to be all days in the week and not just certain days. I give Century Galleria Lofts five stars due to the maintenance crew always responding to work orders quickly and in a timely matter. They are amazing in keeping the apartments clean especially the trash areas located on the first floor. Every morning they would clean them out. I have lived in apartments where the trash areas are a huge mess and are not cleaned on a regular basis, thus having a maintenance crew that would clean them out every morning is plus in my eyes. The one thing that was odd, was the fact that the maintenance crew was only allowed to change the light bulbs in the apartment twice. After that you had to purchased them on your own and change them yourself. (It not hard to do, but it is an apartment complex where the maintenance crew is responsible for the A/C filters, light bulbs, or any other issue) In regards to the dog park, It was kept clean;however, there was a huge gap between the fence and the grass where any dog would be able to squeeze themselves out of it and escape towards the freeway. ......so having them off leash was a big NO!. Lastly, I rarely went into the office for packages or to drop off rent. Yolanda is amazing at working quickly in solving a tenants issues. She really works hard and tries her best to keep the tenants happy. I really appreciated her help throughout the whole year living there. Nevertheless, I didnt have any issues with the office staff or any tenants. It was quiet during the day and most nights. You did have your occasional loud tenants , but it was not a big deal where it was everyday. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the apartments, but due to the construction now and at the time it is too hectic early in the day and mid day. (During black Friday it is good due to the fact that you can walk to the galleria and avoid the mess of cars or parking).

Maintenance has to fix things twice before It is actually done right. The location is great, but there are other better updated apartments in the area for the same price.

I have lived happily here some time and the apartment is great... but there has been a recent change in management that has lead me to not resigning my lease. The apartments themselves are nice and in a good location. But the new management is inexperienced and for a lack of a better term, lazy. There is no haste in renter service, in fact every time a being, whenever I do need something done from the complex, as rare as it is being ive lived here for a while, is non existent. Ive had to repeatedly contact management all in the while promise is made by them, to serve by a certain time, never to be done.

July 2019: After leaving Century following an 18-month stay, here are my takeaways:Community: A lot of shady characters. Too many to justify the price. A lot of loud music thumping from cars out front and residents speed and swerve through the parking garage. Too many also dont pick up after themselves and leave trash strewn about.Safety and Security: We used to have an on-site patrol officer but it appeared that went away. I once was home alone near midnight when my door handle turned and someone attempted to enter. Whether a child joking or an attempted home invasion – I called 911 but no one was found. The garage gate is A L W A Y S broken. Always. Anyone can come in. And too often, they do.Also the elevator – WHEN it works – is so SO slow. It broke MANY times during my stay.Front Office: Inexperienced newcomers have replaced Yolanda who was a superb manager. Since her departure, calling the front office is futile. You have to go in person to get something addressed.Maintenance: Ironically maintenance was the BEST part of this complex. They call you back when you leave an emergency message – within an hour Id say -- and this is after hours! Always on top of problems and fixing them fast. And it helps to speak Spanish.Amenities: The gym has gone downhill. One of two treadmills didnt work upon departure and the other - lol - sometimes just STOPS suddenly. Mid-run! Also, most of the televisions dont work. And they took out the lockers for some reason... no place to store your belongings. No showers, either. The pool is well maintained. There are no 24/7 indoor common areas like newer complexes have.I did appreciate the Amazon lockers.Units: Decent but beginning to be outdated. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets are old and cheap. Everything else was fine.ALSO beware that you live next to the 59/610 interchange. That interchange is undergoing a FIVE-YEAR construction project. The feeder road is already closed so theres only one way outta this complex. We had the water turned off by the city of Houston several times during my stay because of construction. They came at me with a 7% increase in rent if I stayed. Not worth it.

After moving back to Texas from Hawaii, my first apartment wasn’t the greatest so I began looking for a new apartment in January 2016. Found Century Galleria Lofts around March/April. I first met Theresa and Corey they both were able to answer all of my questions regarding renting here and helped me determine which floor plan was the best fit for my needs. Theresa and Corey remained professional and personable throughout the whole visit. Between then and the time I signed my lease about a month later, I was in constant contact with Theresa and had to go out of state for a family emergency which delayed a few things on my end. Corey and Theresa worked with me through the emergency and were very patient with all my questions and made sure each one was answered in detail. When walking through the community they greeted every resident with a smile, by name, and would inquire if a certain work order had been taken care of in a timely manner. Corey has an extraordinary eye for attention-to-detail and he explained about all the things that were in the works to be changed in the coming months. The day I came to sign my lease Corey and Theresa gave me a tour of the model like the one I would be moving into in a month-and-a-half time and made sure all the paperwork was in order prior to my arrival. Corey explained the apartment I signed a lease for wasn’t ready for a few more days. He called me the day it was available and asked if I wanted to walk through the apartment prior to move in. He allowed me as much time in the apartment as I needed – making measurements and taking photos along with talking to my family over Facetime – even answering their questions. During that visit he even made a list of the things he wanted to see fixed over the next 48 hours before I moved in – and they were. Since move-in, the maintenance staff has been wonderful and arrived in a timely manner to complete work orders – if it couldn’t be completed in the first visit, they would leave a detailed message as to their next steps to complete the work order. Every once in awhile you can even see Corey picking up trash and throwing it away when he is walking the property. Moving here I didn’t just find a new place to lay my head – I found a new family to come home to (at least in the same building – since they live on property).

Not enough people review apartments that they like, only ones they don’t. This is my attempt to combat that haha. I toured the adjacent apartments prior, and was underwhelmed. Every complaint I had at the other place Century had done right. Raised ceilings, open kitchens, soundproofed units (I can’t hear the freeway at ALL). A pool AND a courtyard with charcoal grills (separate from each other). Plus there’s an awesome full-size dog park in the back with lots of friendly pups.EDIT 02-27-2020: I still love my unit. The space is large and has good natural light. However, I am not re-signing. The increased rent rate makes the small things I don’t like not worth dealing with.Things like dogs pooping on stairs and in hallways, garage gates being broken and I don’t like not being able to get inside my own apartment.Management refusing to update my (never properly entered) email address and asking, “didn’t you get our email?”Lack of understanding of the TAA Code, which states that my dog can remain off leash while inside the provided dog park, and sending an email blast (which I never received of course) that dogs must be leashed in the park!Hallways smell like tobacco or weed depending on the day (I though smoking in apartments was illegal?).And now this morning, an unscheduled, unwarned fire inspection. Yes, absolutely this is a state-mandated blah-blah-blah, but it would have been nice to not have to listen to it for an HOUR (9-10am). still going.Things I still like:My apartment has nice wooden floors, and an open floor plan.Att fiber has really fast speedsParking is usually easy (though I’ve heard from neighbors about breakins)Nice central location now that the feeder is open again and there’s no construction outside my window.I tried to find more positives, I just can’t. We’re moving in March to a better managed property. I’m going to have to drop my rating a few stars to reflect that this place looks good at first, but is rather a let down.

Living here is a joke! I used to leave here a few years which is still under the name Broadstone, which I really love it, so I moved back last year. A lot changes during last couple years which I am not here. The leasing office staffs are nice, but not helpful. The gate is not working since I moved in. The leasing office said they replaced the motor, but addressed another issue need to work on. Well, there have been at least 3-4 months not working before they replace the motor. It is not acceptable for using over half a year to fix the gate. There is out Exit gate working, but the entrance gate is keeping opening. What is the meaning you have a gate for exit, but the entrance is not gated at all. If you are not planning to fix the gate, Please do not add Gate Community as one of the apartment feature. The other thing is they just add reserve parking in the parking lot. It took them one day to paint the reserve parking spot and get our money to rent the reserve parking, but take them forever to fix the gate and maintenance the apartment. Also, roaches are coming out from my kitchen sinks and bathroom. I asked for pest control, and it has no effect for my unit. Now the roaches is everywhere in my unit. I do not put food outside for over night or couple of hours, and this is the first time I have roaches problem from renting apartments from last 6 years. They are doing special on the rent, you can take it, but I will move out for sure.

The community itself is beautiful, the office staff/management is horrible. Nothing ever gets done around the property, the entrance/exit gates have been broken for an entire year now, maintenance staff is slow, the new property manager the young african american guy always has an attitude with residence and is never welcoming, he could definitely use some phone etiquette, smile sometimes! I have been requesting to have the weights in the gym replaced for the past 3 months and nothing has ever been done. For what residence pay in monthly rent you would think we would be better appreciated and receive better service by the staff. I am definitely not renewing my lease contract and will not refer anyone to this community ever.

The rental rates are low for the area, however, there is a reason why. The gates are frequently broken, the apartment hallway floors are dirty and have dog pee, the stairways are dirty with dog poop, the gym is not cleaned regularly and when I call the main line, I hardly ever get a live person during normal working hours. The part that also affects me on daily basis is that they only offer AT&T uverse as a internet and cable provider and the service is out very frequently - at least once a week. So if you work from home, definitely dont move here because Ive had to make arrangements 10 times due to days of outage.

I would never recommend anyone to live here. Although location isnt bad the apartment itself is horrible. Bad customer service, the maintenance takes forever, and the apartment is disgusting. There are bugs, gnats I think, everywhere, 100% of the time. No matter how often or how deep we cleaned there would always be bugs. there were even bugs in the fridge and freezer, their dead bodies littering the shelves. We always kept the place clean and never had open food to attract them. Also - the sales person forgot to mention the apartment we were getting was right above the garage so every time it opened or closed, we heard it. also - if anything happened on the street, you hear it. Car alarms, trucks, garbage man. It is loud and annoying. It is WAY too expensive for what it offers. NEVER EVER LIVE HERE!

The pics of the trash are on busy HOLIDAYS and are cleaned up quickly and are in a trash roim that is enclosed and AWAY from our view! The pic of the truck Ive never seen that truck and Weve been here for OVER A YEAR! Anywhere you live you could find something to fret about if youre that type of person. We almost didnt stop in to tour based on some of the reviews, but im so glad Racheal and I did! Yolanda, Chanel and team are doing a great job to change the perception and Its getting even better with all the fun events they plan!! Pool parties...Cinema on the roof...food vendor trucks....and a lot more geared toward providing us a place to be proud to live in...They even support local businesses and allow us to bring in flyers to help save residents on free back to school haircuts. Please come check The Lofts out yourself...THEN FORM YOUR OWN OPINION, IM SURE YOULL WANT TO BE MY NEIGHBOR! 😃

Honestly, I contemplated leaving a review of Century for a few months now. While Century is a lovely location, good distance from many attractions, and overall a nice building/apartment, the service and community itself made our last few months there and overall experience unsatisfactory. I cant speak on Paula, but I will say before anything else Chanelle was the best member of the staff - always quick to respond to messages, always helpful, and overall my favorite person to interact with in the office. To start my review, I want to say that its disappointing to pay $1700 a month for a complex that 1. advertises a gated community, but the gate NEVER worked the entire time we were there and 2. never had working amenities. The treadmills in the gym were broken or out of service 9 times out of 10, the elevator did not work and was closed due to repairs for several months during our time here. Additionally, cars were broken into multiple times because the gate was not working properly and anyone could come in or out since it was always open. BUT I will say they power wash the heck out of the garage. Expect to be unable to park on your floor or drive through multiple times through out the year for this...Pros of this complex: maintenance was typically quick to respond to issues, but the issues were pretty recurring and sometimes didnt seem to make sense.. For example, my AC went out and when someone came to fix it the first time they did not leave a signed notice of entry (I thought nothing of it and was just happy it was fixed). Then when the AC went out the second time, the person who came to fix it did not seem to know who had been in our apartment previously and even asked me if I hired someone from the outside... so I still wonder who was in my apartment? The pool is nice, and the social gathering we went to was also enjoyable.Aside from these issues, there were a few big deal breakers for me that made us decide to leave. These included being sent a price for re-signing that was incorrect, lost packages that were on the truck still and delivered late (even though they were already signed for by office staff), the emergency maintenance number rings to a VM box that I had to use twice and never heard back from anyone, most of the time when I emailed I would get an out of office from Yolanda, dead birds in the hallways, poop and pee in the hallways, garbage left in the garage (though now there are waste baskets throughout), and my neighbors constantly had people in and out.Its great that changes have come: exterior paint, more office staff, courtesy officer, trash cans in the garage... but I see recent reviews mentioning only move in service, or mocking past renters - its great if you have a good move in, but consider that not everyone has had the same experience. In closing, my last issue with this complex is that I have been waiting to get an update on a refund we are supposed to have received. I have called and emailed because I asked for the check to be mailed to Century so I could just pick up, and came to find that the complex for some reason has an incorrect phone number for me, so they have not been calling me/leaving voicemails for me at an incorrect number. I spoke with Paula about my questions, and was waiting for an update, didnt hear back for a few weeks, emailed again when Chanelle said she would update me, and didnt hear back again, emailed a third time to which I got Yolandas out of office, and still have not heard back almost two months after moving out. At this point, I have asked for a number to call their corporate office or whoever sends the check, so I can just get it done myself, but I will have to just stop back by the complex at this point.

The Management staff is absolutely awesome. We just moved in recently, my family and I, and weve had a wonderful time. The location is perfect, living so close to the galleria and my job make life a lot better for me. Corey, one of the management people has just been great since we arrived. Also Teresa who also works there jas been very nice to us. I dont really understand all the bad reviews since we decided to move because a very good friend of us reccomended this place. The pool is very pretty and also the resting/chill area. In my personal opinion this is a great place to live, I have kids of my own and they have also loved it. Management is more than friendly and complex is great!

I have lived at Century Galleria Lofts for nearly two years now, and I cannot wait to leave! Within the last two years, an entirely new office staff has been brought in. They are only moderately better than the last office staff - attention to detail is clearly lacking, given how staff write emails, communicate information, track packages, etc. Additionally, the do not leave us emails are almost threatening - If you dont move, theres no chance your stuff will get stolen! My major concerns come with the building. The entrance gate has been broken for months at a time while living here, and still breaks about every other month. The elevator also breaks every other month. The gym doesnt have Wi-Fi (which was listed as an amenity when we moved in), more than half of the cardio machines are broken at any given time, the filter on the water machine has never been replaced, and its very small for a complex of this size. The stairwells and hallways constantly reek of pet urine. Currently about half of the floor boards in the hallway are ripped off (reason given for being replaced, but its been a month and no replacements...?).I have also had numerous issues with getting things fixed in the apartment. Our AC unit broke 5 times in 2 months, and only after the 5th break did they finally replace it. Though if you include all two years weve lived here, the AC has broken about a dozen times. For the times that it broke, only 1 portable AC unit was provided (despite the fact that there are two bedrooms / two people living in the apartment). We were often left without working AC for multiple days. Additionally, the apartment has been left dirty by maintenance employees, either tracking in dirt or not preparing for possible debris in crawl spaces. This is the 5th apartment complex Ive resided at inside the loop in Houston, and frankly, there are cheaper, nicer places to live in the area, and I would absolutely direct you to those one of those before here! We thought we were getting a deal when we moved in, and that was absolutely not the case!

Worst decision ever taken. Service is awful, every time we ask for something that is not working they say something different in order to not fix it. For example, we had to go to the office three times because a piece of the toilet was broken so we spent a whole week without being able to use this toilet. Another example, we were said that someone would come to our apartment in order to change a bulb of a closet. After almost one month of this, we go back to the office to remind it and suddenly we are said that we have to cover this cost.

This will probably be the most honest review youre going to get so if you are seriously considering living here I would read this.My wife lived at Century Galleria lofts for about 5 years and then we lived there together for 2 more years. The apartments really are a great value, beautiful, and priced well relative to the competition (at least over the years we lived there). We had the pleasure of living there while Ginger Strange was the property manager. Over these years we had a great relationship, staff was always courteous, responsive, and caring. I cant say we ever had any issues during the 6 of these 7 years.Unfortunately Ginger left (and all the reliable staff) and what followed was a revolving door of short-term property managers (There were at least 4 in a period of 6 months). Over this period of time the garage was damaged or not working for probably the entire time. A couple of the property managers actually seemed like great people and then a week later they were gone. There was some crime, a few occasions when the police showed up, but it seemed to be handled ok. This is Houston so none of my 1 star review is a result of the crime or even the property manager turnover. The 6 of 7 years of great living and what would have been raving reviews of this property were destroyed entirely by one individual, the last (and I think current) property manager Cory. If Cory no longer works there you can discontinue reading this review however if he is still the Property manager I would run away from this property as soon as possible. This man was by far the most unprofessional, condescending, and horrible individual Ive ever dealt with. The mans ego and pride overcome any decency he might actually possess. Every encounter I had with him left me with a disgusting taste in my mouth that bordered on absolute anger. The way he spoke to me and other residents in my presence was absolutely inappropriate. He masks any decision he makes with property contracts and legal jargon in an attempt to sound sophisticated and fair in what hes suggesting. Let me just tell you, he is absolutely full of crap and will fight tooth and nail to take advantage of you on the properties behalf. When we moved out of the building I had one of his front desk employees and the maintenance guy check out our apartment to make sure it was in good condition. I stressed to them both I did not want any surprises and would be happy to clean up anything they might have thought to be not up to their standards. They both assured me that the property was left in good condition and there would be no issues. Then I received from Corey who just simply left me a voicemail We need to talk about the condition of your apartment which sent shivers down my spine. I literally had two of his employees look at the apartment inside and out and they assured me it was in great condition. When I went over to meet with Corey he told me that whatever they told me didnt matter because his say was the final say. Apparently he thought I left the apartment dirty and then proceeded to show me pictures of hair and trash (trash that I left in the Valet that we pay $20 a month for, that was then taken inside the apartment, pictured, then left to seem like I had left it behind?). He told me the hair looked like pet hair (we dont own any pets), he told me the flooring needed to be replaced and wanted to charge us $300 for it (I told him we had a roof leak that took a week to get fixed and caused leakage on the floor and perhaps that was the damage). He did take that charge off after I informed him. This whole experience felt like I was being arrested and having to explain my actions to a police officer (No I have never been arrested). Corey initially charged me $75 for cleaning then as a token of good faith split the cost with me and only charged me half.Long story short - If Cory is the property manager run fast.
