It’s a shame they really do not have any consideration of people’s time. We came two days in a row to see the apartments, mind you we made appointments, we talked to them before going & they leave us waiting & never show up. We are just looking elsewhere.It’s crazy, they’ve been doing this for months apparently, according to the reviews, they still haven’t changed their ways.

Honestly it’s always something wrong in these apartment complex, something needs to be fixed every 5 secs I went 3 days without a toilet because of plumbing issues! Then my stove constantly shuts off in the middle of me using it! Just definitely not worth the rent

I’ve been living here for a year and it’s a great low key complex. I honestly have no complaints. Very affordable and safe. Work orders are completed within the same day or the next morning.

I submitted an application over 2 weeks ago and I have yet to hear back. The day I went to tour the property, there was 2 tenants making a complaint. After waiting for a week and a half I decided to go in person to get an update on my application status. There was another tenant complaining about not having ac will the leasing office had their ac on full blast. Honestly applying here was a waste of my time and money. DO NOT APPLY HERE!

DO NOT COME HERE!!! Horrible management I’ve ever came in contact with. They only have their 700 sq ft one bedroom unit to show. That’s the only unit they show people when they come in and it’s right next to the main office. It has a roach in the apartment that’s been there for a minute since my friend went and toured the place. If you are looking to lease an apartment that isn’t ready DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They will tell you that you have to put a non refundable deposit down for an apartment that you won’t see for maintenance to come out and fix it. There is a unit that has had the same stuff in it for over a month and the tenants have been gone. They say you’re application will be declined then they can override the denial. It’s definitely not worth it especially since the staff doesn’t seem to care. The apartments would be a great place to stay they had better management of the apartment complex itself and leasing staff.

Horrible place. They find a way to break you lease if you leave comments that are not positive about the property. They need to be ashamed. Never keep the word.

We have never been behind on rent always paid on time! my car has been vandalized three times since Ive lived here in the last 4 years. with this new management my car got vandalized and I was excited to know they have cameras everywhere now and that these punks would get caught. Made a police report and Ive been trying to get through to management for a week now to get this footage looked at and to speak with supervisor and they still keep avoiding me. I went in the office asking to speak to management and they still made me sit there and wait for half an hour so I finally left. They still havent contacted me. they should be working with me to make these apartments safe. something tells me they screwed up because they have their gates open all the time! Guess Im going to have to take this to a higher upper!

Ive been here for 6 years and I have seen many changes to COUNTRY CLUB for the better that is. Office staff is very pleasant and professional. Keep up the good work.

Country Club Place apartments has really changed for the better these past 12 months that Ive had a lease. Our move-in was sad on their end because the office had no idea we were moving in and we had to wait hours. The job was done poorly throughout the whole application and move-in process. There was never any attempt for them to reach about this. Now, the management is understanding, quick, and willing. Really have loved living here!The apartments have a nice online app to pay rent through which also allows for splitting payment among roommates. Laundry Mats on-site that total near $3 for a full cycle - also accesible through an app or laundry card. Maintenance requests are usually done online. We had A/C problems and after a couple clear and concise requests, they ended up giving us a whole new system. Please let them know as soon as accidents occur.For the price and quality, the apartment is great. If you are looking for aesthetic, you will not find it here. The dark gray square buildings are dull and lack creativity especially when mirrored across the street with Oaks at Wayside. The inside design is basic. However, it is still a wonderful price and super convenient location if you frequent the downtown or west side area - there is a lot within 20 minutes. The surrounding area and the apartment grounds are not attractive, but being inside the apartment is lovely. Lots of space and good utilities.I rate this as a three star mostly because it fails to captivate an aesthetic feeling - all gray is way too dull. Also, there needs to be more effort on trash accountability and cleanliness. They send out countless emails telling us to keep the property clean, threatening fines for leaving trash outside of peoples doors (they do belong in the dumpsters), but there was never a cleaning crew. Walkways are filthy with stains and there are potholes inside the gates and large dips in the outside parking spaces. The lack of proactiveness also shows with pest control. Im sure they are available upon request, but they had someone come and spray our rooms only once the whole year. Lastly, whenever they upgraded windows (which are so beautiful by the way) there was never an attempt to clean up all the shards of glass left inside the apartments.I still stand with it being a very nice place to live INSIDE, but if you want the Houston Experience or an attractive area, you can live here for the price and just visit the parks and other areas close by.

The progress that the new owners have made is amazing! All of the changes and upgrades, in such a short amount time, is unbelievable. This property is definitely one that deserves to be considered when looking for a nice, neat, and clean home.

I am very happy I came across this apartment. The new management company has great plans to make this a highly attractive place to live. New management companies tend to work very hard at getting in tune with residents and adding amenities that fit the residents needs. I cant wait to see what is more in store.

Been here for 11 months and I love it. As my first apartment I’m pretty sure it was the best option for me. Just needs more amenities and it would get 5 stars. The staff is respectful and helpful thanks for caring about your residents!

The transformation from one year ago is amazing! My family and I are very happy to benefit from being part of Country Club Place! This is the best value around here!

Things are getting better but maintenance requests are still not being addressed. Upon signing our lease we requested simple maintenance work this was in July we are almost into December and not once has the management team reached out.

I lived here for over 2 years and I loved it! Miriam and Linda always helped me with whatever they could and were so nice. Neighbors were quiet and respectful. Car did get broken into outside of the gates but they can’t control what goes on that much. Hopefully they’ve upped the security and cameras. Other than that, it was affordable and welcoming! I miss it there.

Your apartment can be on fire flooding etc and emergency Maintenence will never take care of the issue I’ve been living here for almost 5 years and everything was good until this management came ..... they are so unprofessional !! I do not recommend for new tenants to join this community please don’t let it fool y’all !! Plus they wanna give fines for sink being clogged smh

The property is under new ownership. The new office staff is very friendly and informative. They have a lot of new things happening that will be sure to make living here even better!! Can’t wait to see our new property.

Theres new ownership now and they are making lots of great changes. I saw the maintenance team walking and they said there will be new paint, cameras and package lockers going in, among other things. Im looking forward to all the improvements.

Staff and management are very unprofessional and rude. Its been 4 weeks since I reported a mold issue. And all Maintenance did was cut the drywall, and didnt even patch it up,ripped the padding and carpet and never finished. Havent been able to use my bedroom all month long. Every time I call i get told they dont know the status update or they will call maintenance and call me back but they never do. One occasion I went in person manager told me if Im unhappy,I can move out. Of course anyone is going to be unhappy if their bedroom carpet and padding is ripped apart for a whole month and doesnt get fixed!!

Yall I just moved in here and LET ME TELL YOU what a mess it has been. The women in the office are more concerned about people breaking leases then actually helping you get into an apartment. THEN, I asked for a specific move in date, they wrote the wrong date so I couldnt move in when I wanted to. And now that Im in, guess what. BUGS. Cockroaches. Just what you want. They said my unit was empty for three weeks and they sprayed each week, sure you did. Just like Im sure you replaced the carpet. Must be a reason why you cant fill your units, and when I talked to them about it, they were like well you can break your lease. What kind of cycle is that.

This used to be such a good place. Yeah, it looks nice and pretty now but what does that matter when the staff is horrible. The owners really did a huge mistake.

I can honestly say I have no complaints when it comes to this complex. Since I moved here in July 2015 I have had no issues. The property is kept cleaned and they have a zero tolerance for loitering. I have not once have had to deal with load music or people just letting their kids run around and be loud at late hours as i have with previous apartments . The staff is very kind, helpful, and punctual. They always welcome you with open arms no matter how many times they see you and you start to feel like family. They also have officers that patrol at night which is a huge plus for me given i have children. I always see them around making sure the property is safe. Also, parking here is plentiful and they do enforce towing here but as long as you have a sticker or a guess pass for your friends you are good. I like that they enforce this because i feel it keeps the property looking nice without seeing non working cars all over the place which to me makes any place look horrible. This place is still in the works of expanding and they keep us updated on all the new features that they are adding to assure us our choice of making this our home was the best choice.

I would rate negative if possible, We receive notices very often, Today it says no hot water. No date is mentioned in the notice, incomplete information. always inconvenient. Also cars and apartments are robbed inside the premises very often. Following day we just receive a notice of the incident, nothing else. No active cameras inside. They are forcing to get our own home insurance for safety. Google doesnt allow me to upload the pictures, if so I would upload them all.

The old management may have looked shabby but at least they got things done in a timely manner. This new management never picks up their phones. Packages get “lost” even though there is supposedly a new Luxor one box for deleiveries. Delivery personelle can’t get into it because half the time there is no one in the office to help. The manager is never there. I have yet to see her. Just the front desk people are there under staffed and over worked. Maintenance requests to get a leak fixed or the hot water took almost a month to get fixed. And today our water was shut down to fix a leak without any warning and when I asked when it would be back they don’t know. Like how are we expected to go about our days without any warning? I could have a filled up an emergency bucket if given the chance. Now I don’t know how I’m going to cook or clean or flush the toilet or shower or anything for work. Thanks a lot for nothing country club place management.

UPDATE:New, new manager, office staff and maintenance are nice people doing what they can. They have been working hard on making living here nice. Thanks____________________________________I have lived here a long time and loved the previous management. Sadly, I am unhappy with the new one since they took over. I do see improvements based upon the owners wishes and money (newly painted buildings, package storage box etc) but the execution and customer service is extremely poor. I have had all sorts of issues:Trying to pay my rent on the first of the month and not being able to in the payment system they want us to use, following the exact directions.On a separate occasion I was given a notice to vacate my apartment due to nonpayment of rent, which was paid indeed.I was given a notice to renew my lease for while I have had already renewed previously.Repeatedly, I was given a notice less than 24hrs that the maintenance will be accessing my apartment. Giving a notice at 6pm the previous day that they will need to come in next morning is not 24hrs. Also calling someone to tell them they will need to enter your apartment in 30minutes and then assuming implicit consent is not okay.Not receiving my packages for over a week due to them installing a package locker that broke and no one fixed it or cared to let the residenfs know. I had to report them all missing through Fedex, UPS and USPS, and all the vendors as well, calling all of them. I call the leasing office and Jocelyn tells me that I shouldve received a notitication about the packages being in the locker and if not, just use the old code or reset my email. I insisted none of that works and get put, by her, on an indefinite hold (waited 40 minutes), upon which I walk over to the office (mid-day Friday) and its closed. I had to call the package storage box company and have them email and call the leasing office to tell them there is an issue. I call in with additional questions the following Thursday and Jocelyn hangs up on me after she is done talking, in the midst of me asking something else.Also all the gates now require access card, which makes no sense whatsoever. How does Amazon delivery get on the weekends when all entrances here are closed? What about food deliveries? I was told, by the leasing office, that all the carriers will get their access card. Okay, but food delivery drivers and amazon delivery are just normal people using their own cars...Suffice to say, living here now is not a pleasant experience.

The new owners took over and have already begun to make changes. I like what they have said that they are going to do to fix and change the complex. If they do what they say they are going to do, this will be a great place to live.

Being new here, I looked around a lot before choosing Country Club. It is the best deal for us and we really like it here.

New management is making the place much nicer. New amenities, wifi, windows, paint, ect.

Overall the manager is very nice and handles all my request fast ...the leasing agent is helpful and very detailed about the property . Since moving here they make sure to send us notes telling us to keep property clean which is a good thing because it is always clean. The area is mostly families and really quiet. It is gated all around which is a plus to keep out unwanted people. I feel safe knowing that they are always a security guard patrolling through out the day . The staff is professional !!! All my work orders get done right away . I feel safe and cozy in these apartments glad I made the decision to move here ...despite some of the bad reviews I can say I have not yet experienced any of those problems personally some ppl are problems just miserable with their own lives and they way they live these apartments are great and so are the staff and neighbors !!!

Horrible management, especially the manager Esmeralda. She should get fired asap.I have been living here for long time and loved the previous office employees and management.The new manager that the new management company sent here is the most unprofessional, arrogant and impolite person I have ever dealt with when it comes to housing. Without going into specifics: She argues with you even though she is wrong, blames everyone else such as the previous management company or their system and just makes excuses for sending you false notices- such as an eviction notice after I have paid the rent exactly as instructed. This person doesnt realize I am the customer and she is here to serve us, not the other way around.The office never answers phones and when they do, she picks up the phone like: This is the manager, what is the problem? The other employee at the office is very nice and she does all the work. This manager is so so awful. I dont understand how she is even employed.Their very first day here I went to the office exactly at the opening hour, saw her walk in and lock herself there. I knock on the door and no one opens. I go home and am calling them, no one answers. I kept calling until 17 minutes after opening time she picks up the phone and tells me that They had to get some things ready before they open. I asked when the old manager comes to work and she says: They dont work here anymore, a new manegement company owns your apartnent now. I was like what? And she says: We put notices on doors couple days ago- No they didnt. I spoke to several neighbors and no one knew anything.Also if you ever need maintenance here, she will tell you they will show up during the day some time. Whether you need to be here or want to be here when they come in to show them what the problem is, she couldnt care less. Point is, she wont serve her customers. She may even call you to say that city is coming to expect the apartments and you were chosen to be one of the inpected ones. When? In 30minutes. You say okay because you assume you have to let them in but then look online and realize they cant just enter your apartment any time they want so you try to call back to tell her no over and over again but no one answers the office phone... This person, her name is Esmeralda, makes me look forward to leaving here. Hope they hire someone else who cares instead of her.Also watch out for your cars in the parking lot. The maintenance was using blower and this morning I found my car- which i washed 2 days ago- literally covered in sand 1/8 inch thick.

Also The staff is friendly, Ms.Miriam And Ms.Linda Are Very Nice and very understanding, maintaince personal is very responsive. personally never had issues...

Ok this isnt that great BUT it is nice on the inside and cheap. Follow rules and you wont get towed. Im not sure what the last guy was talking about because I have Internet.....so not sure. The paper for the parking pass is stupid but this is close to downtown so I can understand. Just follow the rules and you wont have problems. I havent seen any crime in the area so I am glad for that! Maintenance does fix things. Also they have NO roaches here! So good outweighs the bad!

This place is not for everybody. The new management is all talk no NO action. I constantly have been contacting them about moving/treating my apartment for the same mold problem iv been having for months/ and weeks for the new management. Now that the old mangement is gone there still is no sense of urgency when it comes to my health (asthmatic) Since they’ve taken over.

I moved here a few months ago, had No problems here besides maintenance working a little slow. Clean, renovated and new ownership. Still working on a few buildings but coming along.

Roaches. Car got broken in to. Unfixed appliances. Trash everywhere. Cheap Dry wall. Good for location and price, however if you want to feel safe then spend a more and save yourself the trouble.

Nice place to leave for a nice price wish we had a pool and a playground other then that is a perfect place to leave.

I really like living here I moved in 2014, Had a couple of issues with parking but not anymore. The whole staff is really nice they attended to your concerns right away. The deal with the internet i have internet and it just depends on how much you will to pay for your speed it has nothing to do with the apartments. With the Roaches it depends on how clean you are if your going to leave dirty dishes and trash every where then yeah best believe your going to have roaches, but if you do have one or two you can be put on the rotation list for the extermination and it works. If you fallow the rules they have no one will bother you, but if you wanna be getto and ratchet then this is not the place for you. They are trying to make this a secure place for family they even installed cameras out side the property so that a pulse and also will be some inside the property soon . so over all it nice quiet peaceful place.But like I said if you wanna be loud and ratchet where you live then yeah dont come here...

The situation of changing managers every so often affects the residents, the new manager is too rude. In exchange, Miss Kayla was an excellent assistant and Kerimos returned.

Very poor maintenance. that kid named Estebanaccording to is the maintenance and does not know how to do or mothers just spends it being p .... I do not know where because when you need to always stay as busy but for one does not have time to maintain where it really is needed. So I do not know what to do then? He does not know anything, I do not know why they would harass anyone who was put in front of them, who never has time to fix anything. Many people have said that he spends his time with his headphones, what a shame they have hired that person and what a terrible maintenance. the first place where I have lived.

The star is not for the complex because it is a bad place to twenty if you think about moving here I do not recommend it because it is not a home it is safe it is very safe they are going to steal and nobody helps you the manaller does not require help is an old ridiculous that is believed to be all over Houston and I reach in to see help herself she wants to rob you in a month or so shots are stolen until the car here bad place very safe until it is weighing by that old fat woman ridiculous no more manaller for the word manaller because my the old ridiculous and crafty old woman comes that the flight of thieves who get to steal not recommended at all

The apartments are fine but they have many rules that people do not follow even though it is for the benefit of us. The office workers are kind and helpful in everything I ask of them.

I am a resident of the complex and if you are thinking of moving here think about it and talk to the neighbors since I have been here in less than a year and seen up to three times changing people in the same apartment 90% of the inhabitants do not last even the year in the property!!! My experience was terrible after moving to the apartment. I called the office more than 3 times for details on the unit and no one ever showed up after living there for a few months. I showed up at the office and spoke to a terrible woman named Miriam. and I told her why when one called the office to be maintenance she did not show up, to which she replied in a high tone that if she had a complaint, come back and speak to the manager with the name linda and tell her that she is not doing her work was already almost hysterical ... a couple of hours the manager called me and left me a message saying that her collaborator named Miriam had told her that I had come and yelled and that she had treated her very badly and that if I wanted I could break my contract that I could move whenever I wanted ... it is a pity the attitude of people who are in charge of this apartment complex their attitude and way of living because I had to see this person sona of name Miriam drunk and screaming in the hallways of the apartments likewise I had to see her with a man outside her apartment in an unformal way !!! And not to mention the maintenance grew out of but thrown by the corridors, robberies in the cars and people entering by anywhere the complex from religious people knocking on your door with the permission of the manager of cute name ... it is sad think about it !!! I also asked the manager named Linda Domingues on more than one occasion for a phone number to speak to a person who was above her in rank and she denied me saying that her boss did not want to speak to me !!! Last time I called asking to fix the ac. And she said to the maintenance, having me out loud that if I thought I was an AC technician. That I go upstairs and I will fix it myself😞😞😞 and one paying more and more because they have come to charge almost $ 80.00 dlls of water when we made the contract they told me that it would be only 30 dlls

I barely moved here. It is beautiful and clean. I recommend it to people who like to live well in this area.
