Very attentive hygienist, explained in detail every step of the x-ray/cleaning process. Dentist highlighted areas to be aware of. There was no agenda to find issues. Very friendly and personable staff overall. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience- Every time!! My toddler and I have back to back appointments, and the level of care my toddler is provided with is above and beyond!! The staff makes dental appointments for kids feel like a play time, encouraging them to get involved and brush their teeth with excitement and sense of accomplishment. I had a great experience as a new patient they were able to schedule me for a cleaning quickly and even fit me in to remove a retainer put in by a previous dentist. Service was great and Dr. Mease was very gentle I have very sensitive teeth and I did not feel any pain!

Unfortunately I’ve had a lot of painful sensitivity on my teeth since having cavities filled here.

Everyone was super nice. Dentist and hygenist actually talked me through what they were doing, what they were looking at/for in the x-rays, etc. Also I was taken in right at the time of each of my appointments (total of 3 visits over the course of a couple weeks). Overall a great experience.

Dr. Moawad has created a terrific practice in Hoboken, with a welcoming and expert staff. I went for a routine cleaning and it went very well. The hygienist was quite good. I understand that if you dont make a request in advance, you can get any one of a few hygienist, which is different than any other office Ive been. I did not get to meet Dr. Moawad but rather another dentist that was working that day. Also seemed quite good. I will return.

Best dentist Ive ever been to. Mat and Sam(oral hygienist) are the best. Im glad I switched, so are my teeth. theyre always checking if youre comfortable but are professional. scheduling is smooth and youre never waiting hours in the office to be seen. When youre finished having a procedure your assigned dentist follows up with you to confirm if you feeling well. only Con is they are out of network for me(untied healthcare oxford). Other then that Im pretty satisfied the care provided.

This is my first year with Dental Arts of Hoboken and I have been very satisfied with the services. I signed up for their in house insurance which has helped me to keep on track with my dental care. I just had my second cleaning and exam and both Dr. Mike and the hygienist Lauren were great. During my first cleaning I had a little issue come up (to no fault of the hygienist) and they took care of it right away for me. I recommend this office if you are in need of a dentist. Thanks!

Everyone is so kind & professional. They listened to my concerns and were very gentle. I have been scared of going to dentist from a horrible experience years ago and from hearing horror stories of so many people I literally just stayed away. Finally I had tooth pain and my coworker told me about them. She said her husband and son go and they love them, to check the reviews and check the dentist office out. I was in shock that every review was positive. It’s a dentist office, but it’s real! I’m so grateful that I can trust them with my teeth!

Ive been coming to see him for about 3 years. Hes very professional and Im always satisfied with the cleaning and check ups. I never feel like Im being pressured into extra or non-essential services - which Ive experienced with other dentists.Update - still coming to the practice (4+ years?) and the staff and service is still great. It feels like I’m always looking for alternatives for my general practitioner and other specialists but my dentist is covered. Thankfully one less hassle.

Everyone is always friendly. I recently had my first root canal and Dr. Matt and the hygienist were very kind and explained everything to me. Dr. Matt even called me the next day to follow up with how I was feeling after the procedure. I really appreciated the concern! Highly recommend

They go above and beyond to answer all financial and insurance questions. All the hygienist are very thorough, but very gentle as well. They take their time and make sure you are satisfied with your cleaning. The doctors answers all your questions and explain everything that needs to be done. No complaints on any of the work done on my family.

Id fallen and broken off half of my front tooth (SO attractive--not!) almost a year before finally making an appointment with Dental Arts. Id waited so long because terrible experiences with dentists in the past had made me swear Id never go to another one unless I had to. But this time I really had to.First, I got my appointment time wrong and arrived half an hour late. The dentist (a young and very pleasant Phish fan whose name I dont recall at the moment--sorry!) saw me right away anyway. Id been planning to just have the broken tooth filed down to not look so bad until I was ready to fully fix it. I assumed the latter would be a long and expensive process involving multiple visits.But the dentist told me that he could get it totally fixed in about 20 minutes, for a very reasonable price. And he did, and it was a very painless, easy procedure.Im SO happy I chose to get over my fear and go to Dental Arts--Im not embarrassed to smile any more (its amazing how well the bonded piece blends in with the real tooth)!

I went for the first time to Dr. Moawad and I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and that of hygienist and front desk. I came in for a cleaning and Botox, left with a filling, and an appointment to come back for a cleaning and Botox. I didn’t feel pressured, the Dr. told me everything before he was doing it which made me very comfortable. They don’t take my insurance but I am going to continue to come back because it is worth it.

After scheduling the appointment, I was contacted right away by the office via text, ensuring that the appointment time and date worked for both of us. What I thought was an automated text confirmation, turned out to be a person who was so easy to communicate with and answered all of my initial questions about the appointment. I was setting up an appointment for my 4 year old’s first trip to the dentist. Needless to say we were both nervous. If you visit Dr. Matt, you don’t have anything to be nervous about. The front desk team was amazing, the ladies were so friendly and helpful. They made me and my son so comfortable. You feel like they know you and care about you. Then our experience with Dr. was awesome. He took the perfect amount of time explaining things (in a way a 4 year old would understand), he had a sense of humor and he was very approachable. Although our insurance wasn’t accepted here, I gladly took their in house insurance plan to ensure my son could see Dr. Matt.

Dental Arts of Hoboken is my preferred dentist. This is a very professional, courteous and family oriented place.I have been doing my oral cleanings with the Dental Hygienists - Adele, my feelings with Dr. Mike, and my exams with Dr. Mirza!They were and have been outstanding. I have received a great service and I am very happy with the results and treatments! I feel comfortable and I am in great hands when I go there. All of my visits have been scheduled and promptly attended. The assistants were really nice and one could tell they were very well-trained, too since they made everything seem easy.In all, I was impress with their office and convenient location. I found Dr. Mike and his practice via a Google search when I needed an emergency root canal done. I am the biggest chicken when it comes to dentists, mind you, and this place got me over my fear. They handled my quirks and fears like pros and made me feel comfortable during my root canal and subsequent visits for cleanings and fillings. Ive sinve moved to Brooklyn and still make the trip every 6 months for cleanings. The staff and doctors there are wonderful.

I saw Dr. Moawad last week for a cleaning. the entire staff was wonderful. Very gentle and detailed in the cleaning. I have mostly crowns and bridges after having my teeth cracked in an accident. It is not any easy mouth to work in. Dr. Moawad had no problem letting me know what my options were with various teeth. He explained everything really clearly. I feel in really good hands.

I’ve had a lot of work done by Dr. Mike and he managed to save a few terribly neglected teeth of mine 😳. When I first came in I had a lot of catching up to do as I hadn’t had dental insurance in a while, and a lot of my old fillings were deteriorating. They worked with my insurance budgets and always made me aware of what was going on without making me feel bad about it. I highly recommend this dentist.
