I had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. C, she was simply the best. Way less pain and swelling than I expected, explained everything well and gave a follow up call 2 weeks after to check in, but I was good to go by that point. I enjoyed my experience about as much as someone who had 4 teeth extracted could enjoy it, and couldnt recommend her enough.

Dr. Carunchio was excellent and thoughtful during both my initial consultation and my wisdom tooth extraction. All four of my wisdom teeth were impacted, and she expertly guided me through the procedure with local anesthesia and very little pain or discomfort. She explained what she was doing throughout, provided me with breaks, and ultimately concluded that extraction of my uppers was not necessary or advised. She gave clear instructions for post-surgery care, and followed up by phone multiple times over the two weeks after surgery to ensure that the healing process went smoothly.

Appointment at 11 but they needed to push to 11:30AM. They did text notify 1 hour in advance and I thankfully did not leave the house yet. When I got there on time, there was still additional waiting time. (2) PRESCRIPTION MISTAKE: they sent my meds to the wrong pharmacy and only sent in a new prescription to the right pharmacy after the surgery was completed. so I was waiting extra long at the nearby CVS with bloody gauze in my mouth, some of the blood dripping onto my mask. CVS didn’t want to fill my prescription until the prescription at the wrong pharmacy was cancelled. But I couldn’t talk on the phone clearly because I just had 4 teeth removed. Thankfully the CVS pharmacist helped explain over the phone the predicament to the other pharmacy and was able to fill my prescription.

This office is clean and efficient, parking can be tough in Hoboken but thats the only major drawback. They are quick to respond to questions and provide clear instructions. I came to Hoboken Oral Surgeons after a botched tooth removal and bone graft done elsewhere during the pandemic. Dr. Bo Wang reviewed my situation and helped me make a thoughtful and informed decision about how to handle it. I thank my lucky stars for him. I have been to many doctors in my life and Dr. Wang is definitely one of the finest doctors I have encountered. Not only is he an extremely skillful surgeon but he also has an incredible bedside manner. He is knowledgeable, thoughtful and detail-oriented. He redid the first procedure and it healed quite nicely. Last week he completed step 2 which was the insertion of the post/implant. So far the healing is going quite well and hopefully by May I will be ready for my crown. His staff is helpful and they always check in to make sure Im doing fine. They were quick to answer any questions during the healing process as well. I highly recommend this practice and especially Dr. Wang!

I would give different ratings for different aspects. First off, I would love to point out the pros. I got two wisdom teeth extracted at the Hoboken office. I was absolutely impressed by the diversity amongst the staff. There was literally one of every race! So no matter what race you are, you are guaranteed to feel comfortable (Kudos to the hiring manager! It’s a 10/10 as I’ve never seen such diversity in ANY medical office let alone Hoboken). Secondly, the staff was friendly and the office was very clean.Dr. Wang did my extraction. He was very informative, caring and I felt like he handled me with care. The reason for my 4 star rating is due to me comparing my experience with Dr. Mendel Markowitz at Clifton Oral surgery. Let me explain, in March I extracted my two wisdom teeth on the right with Dr. Markowitz(both were impacted). Dr. Markowitz was literally done in 10 minutes! I felt no pressure, hardly any pulling or thugging at the tooth, it was if he had state of the arts machinery. I had zero swelling after the extraction, no major pain and little bleeding. I felt good as new that same evening. He made that experience very easy for me. Ideally, I wanted to return to remove my remaining teeth (on the left side) with Dr. Markowitz but he was completely booked and I couldn’t wait for the next scheduled appointment. So my dentist referred me to mid Manhattan. I went in thinking it would be easy peazy just like my first extraction but boy was I wrong.This extraction was different. It took about 30 to 35 minutes to extract. I felt A LOT of pressure, the pulling and thugging were intense but Dr. Wang made sure that I wasn’t in any pain and that I was completely numbed up (which I appreciated). The doctor explained that it was bcuz my wisdom teeth were impacted (but I couldn’t help but wonder, so were my other two). The left side of my face was completely swollen and I was in pain for the entire afternoon (once I took my pain meds I still felt some pain but bearable I guess). I went home and slept it off, I was still feeling as if someone was pulling the tooth. I felt better the following day (towards the evening) so that’s a plus.

I went here to have my wisdom teeth removed. They had all the right equipment and the dentist was very upfront about all my options and risks. He ended up having to take a 3D scan because one of my wisdom teeth was near my nerve so that we could make the best decision of the next steps. I ended up having 3 wisdom teeth removed and apart from a bit of swelling and bruising I felt fine the next day. They did a good job.The procedure room also look out at the hudson which was pretty cool.

I went to do oral surgery on my upper wisdom tooth and the dentist office before I even started anything was super clean and the staff was very friendly. Dr. Wang is extremely nice and goes step by step on what he’s going to do before he removes your tooth. During the surgery Dr. Wang did a fantastic job because I did not feel any kind of pain and he was able to remove my whole tooth in one piece. And the recover stage isn’t too painful either.Thank you and great job .

I extracted all 4 of my wisdom teeth with Dr Bo Wang, and I recovered very well after the surgery.My bottom teeth are fully bony and close to nerves, so the extraction is harder than common wisdom teeth. I did right side with only local anesthesia, and although no pain at all but I was indeed under high stress... So I did my left side another time with IV anesthesia, felt great!I had great experience there with Dr Bo Wang, no matter it’s local anesthesia or general anesthesia. Their other stuffs in the office are also friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

I went to Dr. Wang to get my wisdom teeth removed. I have nothing but great things to say about the care and service I received from Dr. Wang and the entire team at Hoboken Oral Surgeons. On the day of my surgery and during my follow up appointment, Dr. Wang did an incredible job explaining everything to me clearly. He walked me through the procedure, discussed how to properly recover and was even available via text and call if I had any issues following the surgery. I even got a text and a call the day after to make sure everything was ok! I would highly recommend Hoboken Oral Surgeons to anybody in the area!

I issues with two of my wisdom teeth a few weeks ago and finally decided to get them removed. I was hesitant to do this in midst of a pandemic. The staff at Hoboken oral surgeons were wonderful. Everyone from the nurses to the doctor made me feel perfectly safe pre/ and post procedure. The procedure itself was clearly explained to me and was done in about half hour. They made sure I was comfortable during the entire time, called and made sure of my meds for post surgery and followed up the next day to see how I was doing. Overall, I had a great experience.

Dr. Wang is very professional, as well as the nurses. I had a very pleasant experience here, at least better than most of my friends who had their wisdom tooth taken out elsewhere. I highly recommend this dental office!

This was the best experience for me. I had an extraction of my wisdom tooth upper right. The doctor was so good in walking me thru everything. It’s look 45 mins. I had no pain. I walked home and put ice pack and took two Tylenol. No pain at night or the next morning. I could hardly believe it. I had a little soreness near my gum and that’s about it. I got a text next morning from the office asking if everything was okay. I’m not good at dealing with pain and hate going to the dentist. I would recommend anyone to visit and I will definitely go back if I need too. I’m leaving this review on day three and I have no pain and everything feels back to normal. I never leave reviews but I had to given how good my experience was and hope this helps someone else who is scared about going to the dentist like me😀

Dr. Carunchio was an absolute delight. I had an unusual wisdom tooth issue which she made me feel completely at ease about. Extremely transparent and will give you all the facts you need to know about a procedure. Felt very comfortable during the surgery and her post surgery remedies to ease the pain definitely helped with the healing. Highly recommend Dr. Carunchio to anyone in need of any type of oral surgery.

One of the best doctors in the town. I visited Dr Calat for my tooth removal. Dr Calat spent time explaining the impact and how the infection would spread if no action was taken. Also he took great care while removing the tooth. The dental office and staff was extremely clean and extra care was taken during the pandemic with the staff wearing face masks and practiced minimum contact. Highly Recommended

I was referred to Dr. Calat by Dr. Lucas for a tooth extraction and had the appointment in August. Covid protocol was wonderful and made me feel very safe. As nervous as I was, Dr. Calat made the experience tolerable and I was not in any pain! What more can you ask for! He took the time to sit with me and discuss the necessary care. I would recommend Dr. Calat as he truly cares about his patients!!!

Dr. Carunchio was fabulous and funny. My wisdom tooth was growing in sideways and she made me feel at ease about having it removed. I followed her post surgery advice and the area healed without any issues. Thanks again to her and the office staff for a great experience.

Awesome place! I had step 1 of an implant late last year 2019 was set for step 2 in March then the pandemic hit, but they got me asap after they reopened in July and finished the 2 Implant procedures. Dr. Carunchio Atiencia & the staff are great! :)

Ive had 2 appts so far. Office is clean and staff is efficient. All paperwork is sent prior to appt. Reminders and check in through text. Once you enter the office you begin your appt right away. First, was a consultation, which Dr. Carunchio had my pano xrays completed. Out-of pocket cost disclosed immediately prior to xrays. Thereafter, I was seen by the Dr. Carunchio. X rays reviewed, exam completed. Options for extraction given. I was able to have a good discussion and all questions were answered.I went into the appt thinking I needed IV sedation, but Dr. Carunchio reassure me that local was a the way to go. I just had my 2 upper wisdom teeth removed a few days ago. Post-procedure, no pain. I began taking my pain meds around the rtc for 2 days, but on the second day I began having slightly more pain. The office was in touch with me that morning to see how i was doing. I was able to get in touch with Dr. Carunchio herself and was able to get my the pain under control.I would definitely recommend this office and Dr. Carunchio for anyone looking to get dental extractions.

Dr. Carunchio was the best. She made me feel comfortable and explained thoroughly before the surgery. The office was clean and safe during covid-19. Also I appreciate the follow up call after 2 weeks of surgery.

My daughter and son both had 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr Calat. The office is serene, the staff both kind and efficient and Dr Calat is truly an expert. My teenagers felt safe, cared for and I was extremely happy with our experience. I recommend Dr Calat without hesitation!

I highly recommend Mid Manhattan oral surgery and the Doctors . It was my first time to used them and all I can say is Excellent ! The place was clean with complete dental machines or equipments with friendly and helpful staffs and also with Excellent Doctor Bo Wang that explained all briefly and gentle in extracting the teeth.

I had a great experience with Dr Calat and his team. They were able to move up my appointment due to my pain and made the entire process extremely smooth. They were kind, considerate, and patient with me as this was my first oral surgery experience.
