Norbs does not look like much from the outside. The shop is located behind an auto repair shop, the parking lot has numerous cars in various stages of disrepair. Inside, however, youll find excellent equipment in use.The alignment job performed was superb. Balance and tracking restored to at least as good as new. Norbs also is honest about car and tire condition. If your vehicle needs new rubber or servicing, they will advise you to do that first before taking your money for alignment. There is a noticeable difference in driving feel from an alignment done here and one from a generic wheels, tires, and everything else shop. Prices are comparable or lower than lesser skilled shops charge.

Had my 2008 Ford Taurus aligned by Bruce at Norbs Alignment Center. Holy Cow! what a difference a really good alignment can do for your car! It was so much better than the previous place I had the alignment done at (in fact I have doubts that the other place did anything at all!). Im booking my other car into have it aligned by Norbs this week.

Bruce at Norbs alignment is THE MAN for all things alignment for your vehicles.Ive taken every vehicle Ive owned over the past 10 years to Bruce and hes done a stellar job. He even was able to align (correctly) my old 1986 F350 dually with the old twin-i-beam suspension and king-pins (this requires special equipment and knowledge!). He also replaced the power steering pump and fixed a lot of other related issues. I had the only 30 year old Ford 1-ton truck that would drive straight in all of the Portland area. Most pleased.Additionally hes aligned my daily driver vehicles, and my sports-car toys to perfection.Hes a great person to deal with, and an all-around professional. Very thorough and meticulous, and he stands behind his work.Highly recommended.

My truck had been pulling right for some time even after tire rotation so I knew it was in the suspension/steering. At 108k miles and with all original parts, I knew I was in for a hefty repair cost. When Bruce called and informed me he was able to square everything up with adjustments only, no parts needed, I let go with a big sigh of relief. Thanks, Ill tell all my friends about this place!

Really nice guy, and great at what he does! He gave me a time frame and got it done. Les Schwab screwed up my alignment and he was able to fix my alignment at a cheaper rate. Dont go anywhere else!

Bruce at Norbs did what Firestone, Les Schwab, and Honda of Hillsboro seemingly could not: Align my car.It sounds simple enough doesnt it? Move the suspension bits around until the alignment machine youre using says everything is in spec... Problem is most shops seem to have machines that are not calibrated properly, or suspension techs who dont know which end is up on them. After Firestone had 3 attempts at aligning my car and failing ($150), and Honda of Hillsboros one attempt and fail ($80), I took the car to Norbs by recommendation of some friends. One sit down with my car and Bruce called me up to inform me I had left the steering rack loose, this was from my install of a clutch... He said hed tighten down the rack again and get it aligned, and thats exactly what he did. That one silly detail surely made it impossible for my car to be aligned properly, but hes the only one who caught it (Firestone even had the nerve to suggest I get my steering rack digitally re-calibrated by Honda, an approximately $150 procedure). My car has driven straight as an arrow for a year + and now Im returning for another alignment with new wheels, tires and rear camber arms. Im super pleased with the service Ive received and the quality of work easily justifies any higher expense over Les Schwab, Firestone, or any of the other tire shops. If you care about your cars alignment, take it to Norbs!
