I took my car in for new brakes. However after a few weeks later my brakes began giving out...so I called back and asked if they could get me in immediately considering it was their doing and considering brakes are essential to driving and being safe on the road. Although, I was told they are fully booked and cant do anything for me. I am upset and frustrated with their customer service and length of time to get work done. These guys are very laid back and dont communicate well, and dont stick to the hours of business. I hope your experience is better than mine.

I have received outstanding customer service and the level of professionalism has been top notch! Not to mention that their prices are very fair and some of the lowest I have experienced.I highly recommend this Midas. Erick and his staff fit us in at the last minute to check out our car which had a battery light come on which usually means the alternator is toast. We were in the middle of a long road trip, and a delay would have been really inconvenient. Erick and staff looked at it, and the problem had apparently resolved. Erick told us what to look for in driving the car for the next 30 minutes or so, and ordered another alternator in case we did need it the next morning, but thought we would be OK. I tried to pay him for the analysis, but he said it took them such a short time, and probably nothing was wrong so no charge.... Great to meet honest helpful people when you have car trouble. Best!!! Safely at home no with no further trouble.

Erick at Midas ALWAYS makes sure me and my car are well taken care of. As a woman, I cant tell you how grateful I am to have found a mechanic I can trust. I hate to write a bad review because they were such nice, professional guys but geez. I took my car in because I was told the radiator was cracked. They were able to get me in quickly but when they called to tell me it was fixed, I asked, “Was there any other problems?” The answer was no. I get home and the very next day my reservoir is empty, I fill it up and drive it and I get home and it’s empty. I take it back in and they do a pressure test and they say my reservoir is cracked. They fix it and only charge for the part, awesome. I get home, drive it around and keep smelling radiator fluid. I check it and it’s empty, again. I call, they get me in right away and now they say I need a new thermostat housing unit. I understand that they didn’t cause these problems but it’s mind blowing how they aren’t catching any of them. Three times, three separate problems. These issues aren’t taking anytime to show up and I was told they don’t know how they are being missed. As I said, super nice but I think I’ll be going elsewhere.

We paid to have a level kit installed and an alignment after. They never did the alignment even though we paid for it. They ruined the brand new tires we installed because the alignment was so bad it wore out the outside of tires to below the legal limit after 8,000 miles.

I was so happy with the fact they not only checked my brakes for free, they rotated my tires and were honest about me not needing to get anything changed. I left feeling safe and all without having to pay a dime. This type of service is top notch and I would trust them to service my vehicle if Im ever in the area again. Great service, honest and fair, been there twice and planning on coming back every time my vehicles need service or repairs, I highly recommend to anyone that need a good mechanic, they wont overcharge you or rip you off.

We met Eric at Midas about three years ago. All my life my dad had always been the one to fix and maintain our cars and there was rarely a need for a mechanic. Three years ago my dad got very sick and our beloved 20 year old GMC was in desperate need of a radiator/AC fix. It was the middle of summer and the car was overheating as we drove back and forth to the hospital. Stopping into Midas on oak st. Was completely by chance but it was the best decision we could have ever made. Eric took such good care of us and our car. He was sympathetic to our life situation and over time we got to know each other as small things were due for replacing on a 20 year old car. The choice was obvious to keep visiting Eric for our mechanic needs. Dad has since passed away, and we felt it was going to be very hard to trust someone else to take care of these car related things for us. My mother and I know very little about fixing cars but we trust that Eric is honest and a genuinely good person. His second hand man Kenny owned almost the exact car as us and we trust that he knows how to take great care of it. We cannot express how much appreciation we have for Eric and Kenny; they came into our lives at a time we needed to trust that we weren’t being taken advantage of, and we haven’t ever considered going anywhere else since.I would highly recommend this Midas shop in Hillsboro. I have been going here for about 5 years and they are great. They treat you fairly and never charge you for something not needed. I needed my headlight changed and they just charged me for the bulb and nothing else. That’s just a small thing compared to everything else they have done for me. Will always go to them first.

This place is awesome! Erik, the manager, was very pleasant to talk to. He was straight forward, professional, and didnt try to up-sell me on anything. They did an excellent job changing my oil, fixing my bumper, and tightening a belt that was installed incorrectly by another business that Im never going back to. These guys were great and I would definitely use them again.

I had a sudden problem with my car that the dealer quoted almost 500$ to fix. I called Midas and spoke with Eric, who is just amazing! He was friendly, courteous, and very helpful. I got my car in and fixed to perfection in less than a day and paid way less than the dealer wanted (with much better customer service!). Would refer anyone here for work and will probably be back for my breaks before the end of the year.

I have had the brakes done on my wifes Subaru done here for years, and have always had a great experience. Every time I have made advance appointments, on-line or with a phone call, they have always been ready for me, and had me in and out quickly. The last time I came there thinking I needed new brakes, they told me I didnt need the brakes done, just a touch of lubrication. I would recommend them to anyone looking for automotive service. Their prices may be higher or lower than some other shops, and I have had some work done elsewhere when the price was better, but I would definitely recommend them.

Needed a brake job on a 2001 Camry. Found the store to be very professional and helpful and, I think, they did a great job. They discovered the problem and recommended what to fix and only repaired what was vital to get this old car back on the road in a safe driving condition.

Stay away. They will take every opportunity to steal your money and not do the work they advertise. The owner will try and smooth talk you and say that he used to work at Intel and he quit because he “passionately loves” working on cars to get you to think they will treat your car as their own. Don’t fall for it. Paid around $80 for a full wheel alignment and they couldn’t even get that right. Told me straight up that they couldn’t do the full alignment and they could only adjust the toe. Okay fine. Owner still wanted to charge me the full price for what was like 10 minutes of work for them to adjust.

Better than my dealership, and I love the dealership! I went in for a front brake job on my 2016 Toyota RAV4 and couldnt have asked for better service. The gentleman at the desk was patient with all my questions, they were done sooner than originally estimated, and it was less than originally quoted because I didnt need to have my rotors machined. Awhile ago a garbage bin was propelled into the front of my RAV by a landscaping truck and made the side of the bumper pop out, I hadnt gotten around to having it fixed yet but when I went to pick it up from them it was popped back into place and looks almost new again!!! I had taken it to the dealership since the incident and they didnt even do this... I will be coming here for all my vehicle needs other than my regular oil changes/services which are still covered at the dealership.

Something had me holding off on bringing this in for work, mostly because the dealer charges a lot for diagnostics. So, I spent the hot summer with a blower fan that would only turn on *10% of the time! After scheduling my appointment at Midas, I was able to have inexpensive diagnostics, results within an hour, and the car back with a new relay the same day. Costs were very reasonable, communication was great, and I look forward to coming back to Midas in the future.

Erick was so beyond helpful in giving me information on what I would need to get my out of state car registered. He even had the guys run a scan on my car as to why my Service Engine soon light was on. Definitely taking my other cars here.

I had an excellent experience, no needless up-selling, the owner was working there on the weekends and took very good car of my car. It seems that the Midas in this area are all independently owned and while I cant speak for any of the other companies I can recommend this one.

Traveled 20 minutes to visit this Midas location based on the reviews in order to have my breaks inspected. I called a few places and this was the only location that agreed to inspect them before booking a full 3 hours to change my breaks. They discovered that I did not need new breaks because they were new but needed lubricant which was less expensive. Very satisfied.

I went to this shop because of Groupon. I was expecting some sort of up sale on products or services but they never even asked or told me I needed anything. Surprising to say the least, but happily so. The manager at this particular store was courteous and welcomed me at 8 in the morning with a smile. I have to say I am someone who will continue to speak highly of this establishment and continue to bring my service here. I would tell anyone to look at their website for coupons and deals to really make your dollar go farther.

Got my car repaired here great technicians great services definitely will be mine first place to go to get my car checked out from now on.

Took my car in because my brakes were screeching, I already knew the problem but I took it there to see if they could give me a better diagnostic. They told me I needed new break pads, rotors, and calipers. The total cost was about 900 dollars.I ordered the parts that I actually needed(I didnt even need calipers.) The parts were much cheaper when I purchased them, I got someone to install them.I ended up only paying 180!

About a year ago, we were looking for someone to fix our 2001 Prius catalytic converter. The place that pointed out the problem refused to do it and told us that we had to go to the dealer. I called a bunch of different places for quotes and Midas is the only one that was willing to work with me.I took it in and they showed me exactly what was wrong (a crack) and told me they could take care of it, no problem. I paid a fair price and was impressed by their thoroughness.Weve been back and had about $1000 worth of work done and I am extremely pleased with their professional service. I havent had a single problem with them and they communicate very well.The owner is a very good person and is willing to talk about any problem or issue you may have. The person with the Groupon refused to talk to him about his problem.To put it in perspective, Meineke (in for just an oil change because of a coupon, trust me, dont buy whatever coupon that gives you free oil changes) said that the front brakes were metal on rotor. Later that same day, I took the car to Midas and they showed me that the front brakes had 65% left!I just wish I had found them earlier.Thanks to everyone there, were customers for life!

Had bad brakes and in between payday was short a little they thought of safety let me make up the differance on next pay day you can count on me bring back car for any tune up oil change etc.....car done fast work great........thank you

Service was great , Diagnosed a MAP sensor fault for only 60$ , however charged 118$ for BWD make EC 7011 MAP sensor while same was available in Oreillyauto store for 53.99.I had given a go ahead without checking store so I wont blame them.Overall a good experience except that, but just crosschecking the part rate with store will save you even double.

I went to this Midas for brake service because I had a groupon from them for $250 off brake service. They told me the car needed everything, which was fine, the brakes seemed bad. Then they tell me the price for all this. It sounded very high to me, so I just had them do the front brakes since I needed to use this groupon. With the $250 discount I still paid almost $300, just for the front brakes. They wanted around $450 for the back brakes. I went to a trusted place we had been and liked and seemed fair, I got the back brakes done for $150, around $300 less then Midas wanted. I feel like I got ripped off big time, the inflated price probably more then made up for the money they lost in the groupon. Look up brake service prices before you go to this Midas.

I took my pickup in to the hillsboro oregon midas to get full brake overhaul from the axles out. (700$) when i picked up my truck the first time i only got a mile down the road and noticed they were smoking really bad. So i turned around and went strait back. They said it might need some adjusting. So i let them and left again. Buy this time I have been there for over 8 hours. When i left the second time i still noticed that something wasnt right. i went back first thing the next morning. They told me they need to take it apart again to see whats going on. The problem they were having was with the ebrake cable was stuck. This tells me the newbi working on it didnt adjust the ebrake when he finished the job. Now i have paid them money for a 100% garentee diegnostic and they didnt even do that. So once again they tell me its fixed your good to go. And yet once again i turn right around go atrait back. So this time they tell me they cant fix it with out replacing. Eric tells me they wont replace the cable unless i pay them MORE money because it isnt on the bill. So much for the 100% garentee diagnostics. So they end up just cutting the cable so now i have no ebrake. 2 months go by and my brakes sound so bad i cant take it and go back. This time my back brakes are sqeeking and the whole truck starts to vibrate very agressively when comeing to a stop. They end up having to replace the back drums because they didnt want to replace them at the bigining when they were destriod by them not fixing the ebrake.2 months go by and my dad is using my truck up on some logging road and gets a flat tire. He gos to change it and midas forgets to put my wheel lug lock back. My father had to walk 14miles back to the main rd to catcha ride. Soooo once again i go back there to see if Eric (the manager) still has the wheel lock. Hes response was only, we dont have it and there is no way posible that they could not have it even tho they were the last to use it. Hes was very rude to me for even asking and start to give me lecture on how i even thought that they could do such a thing.The rookie that was working on my truck was in a arm cast and was having to ask eric what to do next. So i dont l know why i was even thinking that....... My fisrt thought is the kid noticed that he forgot to put it back maybe not even that day but a day or two later and when he did he just got rid of it so he would not get repremanded.RobBlue dakota

Went there with my 2006 Legacy GT. I needed to have the AC system serviced after I replaced the condenser. They vacuumed it out and found it was not holding, asked what connections I made and re inspected them, found a O ring had rolled over and was not sealing. Replaced the O ring and finished the job. AC blows ice cold! I used to be a mechanic, and know all the tricks and short cuts mechanics take to get jobs done faster. While I was waiting I was watching one of there other techs do a brake job on a different Subaru. I could not believe the quality job he was doing, he took apart the entire caliper, cleaned it up with a brush, lubed the slider pins, cleaned the hub so the rotor sits flush and many other little things most shops, (even the dealer) dont do. The manager kept an eye on everything going on, and was helping everyone out. I will definitely take my car there if I ever need something done I cant do.
