Great Experience!! I was referred to Johnny Ds by my Stepfather in-law Mike because their are to many places out there that ya just cant trust and I was blown away by how generous everyone was. Family type atmosphere. My AC problem was diagnosed right away and fixed within 45 minutes. I will not be attending any other car mechanics besides Johnny Ds as long as theyre around! I have a sweet little 1986 Toyota Corolla Hatchback that had a couple of minor fix ups. I gotta start off by saying, that it took me several months to find these guys & I am beyond grateful I took my time and waited to see my options. Before here, I had someone help repair my carburator. However, I still had issues after & they refunded that transaction. Went ahead to a family friend & boom, problem solved with the carb.Still--my car was overheating big time, & we all know out in the desert, you dont wanna risk it with a carburatored vehicle.Sure enough, everyone here took great care of me and I have to thank Erin at the front desk for being so gracious and kind at lunch! Thank you Johnny & Johnny D Jr. for getting my little hot rod back in business. No more overheating. They repaired my radiator & replaced my shrouds & fans!Took us just a little while to get the proper fit for the parts, but the guys were extremely patient & friendly about the entire process. Having a 35 year old car can be frustrating with finding the right parts. Toyota doesnt manufacture specific make & model anymore. However, Johnny Jr. told me the exact parts that I needed & I was glad I was already on the proper track with my own knowledge. Im happy they helped & assured me with the pieces that I needed.Even though it took 3 separate visits for the right parts to fit together, Im relieved I took the time to wait & work with these fellas! Wasnt on them! The radiator that I originally bought in town, didnt fit with the fans properly so we had to do a swap on the radiator to a Mishimoto brand!They are really great and go above & beyond. They even fixed minor leaks without my knowledge. And trust me, folks, Ive had some really terrible experiences with previous mechanics regarding my families cars leaving factory parts or not sticking to the quote of the labor provided.These guys dont even fly into he same category. They dont mess around.Theyre extremely consistent with time management, with their labor, with their qoutes & the front of the house is taken care of very nicely.Erin has it locked down with reception making appointments & taking care of the front! Theyre extremely humble & it feels like Im with family. Their prices are absolutely reasonable and not repulsive or gouging.You would never feel desrespected or degraded coming here. Theyre not only personable & friendly, but they explain more about the parts & how/what the affects youll notice, see or have to consider in the future for maintenance of your vehicle.Thank you for fixing my overheating issues & getting this little car running beautifully again!Will see you all again for general maintenance!PS: when I was shopping around for parts and people asked me who was helping me out, I mentioned Johnny Ds & they said right away, I would be in great hands.I couldnt agree more!

The Technician personally phoned me with updates and options which were relevent and important to my repairs. Great family business with a gentle and caring attitude. The repairs were just as needed and my desired outcome has been obtained. I was not overcharged, but undercharged because the parts I supplied were not usable. I will be back when the correct parts arrive and will continue to go back. Johnny Ds knows thier way around the old school muscle cars. Called and received a same day appointment for check engine light. Less than an hour later the problem was fixed and the price was more than fair. Great family owned business. Being new to the area I now have a mechanic I can trust off my list of things to do.

From the moment that you walk into their front office, you are greeted with a friendly hello and smile from Erin. After that you are introduced to either Johnny D himself, or his son JF. They first want to find out whats going on with your car, then Ive noticed that it is customary to get to know a little bit about you, they try to build a friendship or at least a bond with you just to reassure you that you have brought your issue to the right place. It is a very family type atmosphere. They are definitely not a turn and burn type of shop. Johnny himself will tell you that everything that leaves their shop has his name on it. I have never once been sold a repair that wasnt necessary, nor have I ever felt pressured into having repairs done that were not legitimate. Unlike some shops who depend on a $19. Oil change that turns into a $3000. Repair. Johnny Ds is not like that. A truely honest and upfront shop with Integrity. Once your car is repaired and ready for the road again, youll have that good money spent well feeling and confident that the job was done right, just as I have each time I use these guys. Im a car guy, and worry about someone abusing my cars or mistreating my cars, I have personally witnessed their Mechanics, Jimmy, and Adam treat customers cars as if they belonged to them. I cant urge you enough to do your homework, and check out who your going to trust with your vehicle and the repair, but put these guys on that list, you will be glad you did.

My son’s car needed a brake job, oil change, tire rotation and air condition serviced. Called JOHNNY D’s. They had it all taken care of in a few hours. Price was right too. Can’t best JOHNNY D’s for fast reliable service.

Service was professional and the review of requirements and costs were clear. Waiting area was inviting with comfortable seating area with TV and reading materials. Most important was the shuttle service provided back home when the expected wait time was greater than planned.

Johnny the owner is the best!! Rather than treating me like a customer he treats me like a close friend, he is very patient, honest, helpful and always get the job done. He is not like other mechanics where they try to recommend all this additional work just to get money out of you he is straight forward and straight to the point. I love how his shop is family oriented, when you enter the shop it feels like home, the office is welcoming and the staff members are amazing.

John and his team were amazing!! 3 days prior, I paid for a full inspection at Firestone (car was whining). Firestone said nothing was wrong with the car. 3 days later my car quit suddenly while driving in traffic. Towed it to Johnny Ds. They knew within the 1st hr that the alternator went out. Next day my car was fixed and rides better than ever! No whining sound either. John is now my go-to guy. They were fantastic!

Boy, was I glad to find these guys! I broke a weld on a hatchback gas strut mounting post-- not a pleasant thing to try and fix, because the metal is so thin, and its very close to glass, so it cant get too hot. I couldnt find anybody who was willing to work on it. We talked strategy, and then they went to work-- on the spot. Long story short, half an hour later I rolled out with my hatch FINALLY holding itself up again! The welding was tricky, but they nailed it, and its definitely never going to fail again. I took some time to talk to the staff and look around. I like them, and I like their shop. Its been around at various locations for a long time. I have decided they are my new mechanics, and I normally take everything to the dealership. Excellent work, excellent rates, and extremely prompt! Whats not to like?

I had a great experience my first time taking my car to Johnny Ds. I requested an oil change and an inspection of the brakes. I was informed that the brakes did not need to be changed yet, but should be watched. They could have done a brake job then but didn’t. I appreciated their honesty.

I brought in my 2002 Saab 9-3 convertible because it was overheating, and they were able to diagnose and fix at such a low cost, so efficiently. I never worried at all about leaving my only vehicle with them - great family values, great business values, and they stand by them fully. Wonderful to work with the whole family at what are usually difficult times - when a car is having trouble. I will be bringing my saab back to Johnny Ds Auto to fix my AC also, as soon as Im able to. Had them replace my front brake pads and a fried pass. side window actuator motor. Most places would take 3 days to a week or more to do the job and hose me on parts/labor. Johnnie Ds?1 1/2 days turnaround time for the entire job. And less than 500 for the total repairs! NEVER taking my car to a Stealership again. So, I have never in my life gotten charged 50 bucks for an oil change. I’ve always heard that auto shops will take advantage if you’re showing up for the first time. Not sure if that happened....or if they’re just that expensive. But yeesh. That is a lot. Other that that the people were super nice there and it didn’t take long for them to finish either. I called to see if I didn’t an appointment but they were really nice to tell me to just bring my car in without needing One.

As in the past. Great service and very professional. I didnt have an appointment and fast courtesy service. My car is a 1984 and they treat it like its a new $100.000 car. Great job!

Made an appointment to have my car diagnosed and looked over on may 6. on the day of the appointment 6 days later I called 20 mins before the scheduled time just to say Im on my way and the guy canceled my appointment for whatever reason. real nice. I could have set something else up during those 6 days if they didnt have the time. the least they could have done was told me they didnt have time. not make me wait 6 fkn days to tell me, 20 mins before Im supposed to be there. would have been even better if I didnt call first and just went to my SCHEDULED appointment.

As soon as I arrived for my oil change and checkup I was greeted with a huge smile by 3 guys. It felt so happy and good in Johnny D’s. They did the oil change and checked over everything in great time and the price was very fair. I told them I’m sending all my family to them from now on too! I’ve taped their business cards in all my kids cars on the windshield. Love this place and so happy to meet really nice and fair and honest people.

Poor communication. Had my truck almost 3 weeks, and only spoke spoke to him twice. Oh, after we called to follow up. No updates, no nothing!!!. After my husband called, they finally diagnosed the car after 2 weeks in their shop. Nearly $270 later, we pick up our car because they could not find the exact source of the problem, but the recommend a new engine. THANKS! I just wasted $270, and 3 weeks without my car for something thats I could have predicted. Dont waste your time, nor money. Very unprofessional.
