This seriously is the best location to get a rental! It’s hard to find good service and knowledgeable staff. No disrespect to anyone but I have been here at this Hertz location over 5 times and this team seriously is the best. In a busy life where you need to get things done there just making it easy or have some way to give some advice!! It’s great here because of the people that work here! Thanks so much!

Booked a car using Priceline and hoped on an Uber to get to the location. When I finally got there, they dont have the correct car size and trying to bill me additional $20+ per day. Its quite unethical business practice. If this is a problem with partnership with Priceline, this must be addressed immediately. This has caused me major inconvenience and has caused me to incur unnecessary transportation cost. The personel in front confirmed there are other vehicles however do not want to honor the pricing.Bad for business. I suggest going elsewhere.

Went online and made a confirmation to rent a vehicle. When I arrived to pick up the car, I was told that there were 9 people ahead of me and I was on stand by. I should have called first to make sure there would be a car for me! Why would I call ahead if I had a confirmation number?! I WAS left stranded at their office. And all he could say was he understood my frustration.

Earlier last month I rented a car from this location. When I return my car there were several people at the location complaining thought the agent was rude and unprofessional. After doing a walk-through with my car the agent said the car could have been a little bit cleaner however she wasnt going to charge me the cleaning fee. We closed out the transaction and later that day I was charged $100 for a cleaning fee. Furthermore there is an additional hundred dollars held in my account for a month. No one contacted me the agent said I would not be charged the fee then later charge me an hour after I left without calling me without messaging me. This is fraudulent activity or dishonesty at best. I do not recommend this location based on those results.UPDATE: Oct 5th. After reporting this activity to the company the company got back to me and said that their agent said I refuse to clean the car which is a flat out lie. If that were the case then she would charge me at the counter while I was standing there looking at her.Hertz allows their agents to be dishonest about charges to their customers. Charge them without asking without telling and furthermore charge them after they said they wouldnt be charged. Fraudulent activity is okay at Hertz I would not recommend.

The Caucasian female (i believe was sydney) was very rude, has always been rude on more than one occasion. She is not helpful, even when we showed her our code when we reserved she still was very rude and short and trying to dismiss our claims, when it is on your website. I didnt pull a coupon code from thin air, and while we alwere trying to fix this flub that she did, she answers the phone and very rudely tells the customer on the other line that they need to hold and then she placed them on hold with a very rude retort. She is the worse person to be with the customers, she is always rude and not helpful at all. HERTZ YOU NEED TO RETRAIN AND REEVALUATE YOUR EMPLOYEE.

Its been two months and 5 states later and Im still appreciative of the service i received from Sydney. Shes so kind and really champions for the customer. I highly recommend working with her and renting from the Hemet location. One *tip* is to inspect the exterior of the vehicle before you pull off. We noticed a few dings when we got home but fortunately we werent held responsible for those. Air on the side of caution and do your own inspection. Thank you for the great service!

Sydney needs to learn customer service. I’m deeply disappointed in the service she provided. Numerous times we were hung up on, we were just trying to find the location (it moved 8 months ago but doesn’t show the new address on google). She was extremely rude when we asked about getting our reservation early. When I was waiting in line (30 minutes) I could hear Sydney in the back continuing to be rude to customers who called in. If that was me I’d be EXTREMELY embarrassed. I understand it is a busy and stressful time but that doesn’t mean you treat customers like idiots. I will not be using hertz at this location ever again.

My car was in the shop so I made reservations online booked it get to Hertz location for them to tell me Well because you made the reservations within 24 hours you need a major credit card which I did not have with me all I had was a debit card and my ID and my insurance card with me. I had taken an Uber from the car dealership were my car was at to the Hertz. I was now stuck at the Hertz rental car place. The two women working in the office were super rude. When I asked why was there nothing that popped up to inform me of this when I made the reservations online they said I dont know. They way I was treated there was ridiculous when I know for fact I have more money in my bank account than both of those girls combined. Do not go to this location

Not helpful at all he just wanted to leave. I get it was Saturday and it was 11 am I had reserved a car online and paid for it but for some reason he didnt have anything in a SUV like my reservation said he had. I had to be driving 1200 miles and not in a little tiny car. And I still ended up leaving there with no rental car. And missed the birth of my granddaughter. Thank you so much Hertz

Letty Marroquin, is a great person. She is very genuine in the job that she does for the public. She goes over the call of duty to make sure that you are happy and satisfied Letty, really enjoys her job. I chose to leave enterprise and come over to Hertz all because of the great customer service provided on many occasions from Letty. She is patient and understanding of your needs. Great rates, and no push to upgrade or buy unnecessary options! These guys are now my go-to stop for all of my rental needs. I recently rented a car from Hertz and I pre-reserve it online once I got there to pick up the car it Took two hours before I actually was able to get into a rental and drive off they didnt even have enough cars I had to wait for someone to come to drop a car off in which they did not even have the decency to check the car before they rented it to me which ended up missing a hubcap and had been sideswiped on the same side where the hubcap was missing I wouldve been charged for that if I never noticed it or mentioned it now upon drop off which is today it took another two hours just to drop the car off in which the lady tried to charge me for those same incidentals I am highly displeased with their service I have never in my life had to deal with these kind of things just to rent a car let alone the wait time is beyond ridiculous if you have an appointment or a time frame do not rent with them horrible service they want even a knowledge you theyll let you stay on there for two hours before they even say something to you

The lady that helped was very nice, but this has to be the worst run car rental place Ive ever experienced, and I do a lot of business travel. First, you can barely find the place. Second it took about an hour to get the car that I reserved the day before. Also there are no signs that tell you where to get your car or drop it off. The young man who brought me my car seemed completely lost and didnt show me the car or do any kind of walk around for damages. He parked it in another lot somewhere over there . Just completely disorganized and mismanaged. I will not go back there thats for sure. If you use them plan to be there at an hour or 2.Oh and I forgot I tried calling the place to extend my rental. Of course they did not answer their phone during business hours, nor was there a voicemail. I called the # on the paperwork, and of course it was outside the US. Just terribly run.

This is the worst car rental company. Completely rude and incompetent people. I came with the fuel a smidge below the fuel line, were gonna charge me over $30. So I went and put gas ($5). Ive used this hertz location many times over the years. Always have gotten into a nice car. Here is a tip they told me last time, its usually best to make your reservation online because the rate is much better than if you do it as a walk in, in person and for me its always worked like a charm since. I do wish they had a larger fleet of vehicles though as it seems they run low often of certain car classes.

Instead when you let him know your here to pick up your car what an attitude he says he’s busy right now to give them a minute dude I’ve been waiting 40 minutes and you’re sitting there talking about football you should be taking care of your customers after another 20 minutes I decided to check out enterprise they have the same car for $40 more but I got the customer service I deserved was out of there in 20 minutes don’t waste your time reserving a car with this place. To give it one star is to much, it should give a 0 option. I should have read the reviews before, but our insurance company hooked us up with them. I hate them and advise anyone looking to use them RUN, RUN RUN! As fast as you can, to another car rental. This store charged $301.74 to my card, when called about it I was told by the male rep that they did not charge $280.00 to my card and had in fact released the $50.00 deposit fee back to my card. I called my bank only to find out they not only charged $280.00 to my card it was another 21.74 cent charge to my card. I had read the reviews only after our insurance company State Farm made the arrangements. I will be contacting State Farm to inform them of what happened and ask them to never use Hertz rentals again. They charge charges to your card without our authorization. Then to add insult they deny it and blame our bank for the charges of out of the blue giving them money from our account. Whatever you do dont use Hertz or at least the.HEMET OFFICE.

I know its a small office that they have and a high volume of traffic. If you do not like it , I feel like find another location.

Honestly, the people who work there do a great job, 5 stars, but Hertz isnt giving them any help or doing them any favors in this tiny satellite office in a Honda dealership. Not enough personnel, room or parking.Always a wait, sometimes you have to hunt for your rental on a big car lot and often the cars are not clean. If it wasnt for Gold Member incentives, Id go to Enterprise.

So my family and I have rented a lot of cars. This, by far, was our worst experience. We had a car reserved weeks ahead and they didn’t have our car ready when we arrived. After thirty minutes they brought us a car that was trashed! They offered a free upgrade... they should have offered half off! The upgrade was hardly an upgrade. Three kids and two hours late. Do not rent your car from this location. Ruined day thanks to Hertz Hemet

Unfriendly staff, who dont seem to like thier job. Rude and short with all thier customers. Very small selection of cars to choose from. The vehicle that I rented smelled like ashtray, and unfortunately I was stuck with it for a whole week. I do not recommend this location at all, Id rather drive out of my way for another location next time.

Booked an online reservation for a car, and to be picked up. They never called or showed up to pick me up. Also tried to call all day Saturday to confirm everything, No one answered the phone. So I had to call the 800# and was told you can use credit card that are attached to a checking account.. NICE, LOVELY... They took my money no problem, but now I have to wait 7-10 business days for a refund. What a F-ing JOKE! Dont do business with a company like this. You have been warned.

MAJOR issues here. First of all when I arrived to get my Luxury Car was not ready on time, the personnel did not acknowledge me with a welcoming attitude. More like Im busy, Ill get with you when I Can! When the guy arrived to deliver the car, I got in and it smelled like sweat! Yuk! I stopped to get disinfectant. My Sirus radio was not active.Then when I went to deliver it back, the lady had a real similar attitude, until she figured out who I was. Then she made a poor excuse for the Sweat smell and said its the car cleaners people WOW! It was her driver. She made too many excuses and gave me a HUGE $40 discount hahaha and then I had to pay $8 for a TAXI to get 1 mile home!!! WOW!!!

I made an online reservation for a 1-week rental to pick up a Nissan Altima (or similar) at this location. First, it took me two times around the block to find the location, as there are no signs on the building visible from the street unless youre driving from one direction and happen to look over at just the right time. Then I got into the office (again, no signs to find your way through the car dealership and into what appears to be just another office) and mentioned my reservation. The girl looked it up, seemed pretty disinterested, and told me they had one car in unless I wanted to wait until more returned. The car they had in was a compact. She told me it would be $132, $3 less than the Altima was going to cost me even though its 2 or 3 levels below, by their availability list. I told her no thanks and I went across the street to Enterprise and got a Focus for $10 less. I did ask her what the point of making a reservation was and she told me it was so they would know how many cars they had to order. Again, what is the point? Why should I make a reservation with Hertz if it means absolutely nothing when I get into the office?

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU COME HERE!! These Jerks rented my husband and I a car which had expired tags which we did not notice until we got pulled over by a highway patrol! When we told them this when we returned the car they just flat out denied it. And then to top that off they never gave us back our $200 deposit!! We have called corporate and their office so many times and nothing! They say the check is in the mail or say they gave it back! Nothing in the mail and definitely nothing in our account! Thats $200!! Gone! And nothing!

My wife and I rented a small compact car from Hertz to travel to Arizona for the following days: 17th-22nd. We rented the car in Hemet on Carriage Circle (cross streets Warren and Florida). The employee working at the car rental was not very friendly. She did not make us feel welcome or even showed any interest in us being there.The car had a terrible smoke odor, which the employee did not address. We decided not to make a fuss of it as we had a long driving day ahead of us. The car was given to us with a half-tank of gas. We were notified about this ahead of time. I have never received a rental car with a half-tank of gas. We were driving a long way (700 miles), so having to fill up the car before we began our road trip was an inconvenience for us.The car trunk did NOT work on the second day for some reason. I thought it was jammed by the ice chest, but that was not case. Being a mechanic, I tried a few troubleshooting steps to solve the problem, but nothing worked. This was a great inconvenience for us because we were not able to get to the ice chest, unless we took everything out of the car (tents, camping equipment, folding chairs). We were, of course, not prepared to this every time because of the hassle of unloading and loading everything. Instead we tried to squeeze our arms into the ice chest through the back door. As you can imagine it wasnt the easiest thing to do in a small compact car, loaded with cumbersome and heavy camping equipment.I tried to call the numbers on my rental agreement, but only got frustrated by the calling system. There was nothing that we could do even if I got through to someone because we were on a tight schedule to meet people at Monument Valley.Im very disappointed with my rental. Some kind of compensation would be appreciated.

If there was less than one star, Id give it a -10. I completed an online reservation, arrived to Hertz location they did not honor the reservation, instead they downgraded the vehicle. I told them this was not as agreed during the reservation. She (LETI) gave me the I dont GAF attitude, then she quickly cancelled my reservation during my complaint to her. I asserted my concerns that they should have upgraded me, not downgrade if they didntt have the agreed upon vehicle. I couldnt believe this type of conduct and attitude from a major corporate employee. I was left stranded with my luggage with no vehicle, but worst off i had places to go. Dont trust them with your business, I know I never will again. I will definitely pass this on to our business affiliates. Trust me, we will no longer support such a business who treat people as # 2 instead of #1 as their corporate commercials claim.

Office staff was very friendly and pleasant to work with. The van was ready but didnt have the GPS I ordered over 6 months ago with the reservation so dont expect a GPS to be in your car from the Hemet location as was told I would have to exchange the van myself at the airport, which was something that I didnt want to do so had to do the map thing myself. But will remember next time just wish I was told first.

***THIS PLACE IS A JOKE*** Heres the break down. I needed a car this weekend due to mine being in the shop. I had plans with my daughter for a fun father daughter weekend. I made my reservation online and set an early appointment at 2pm just in case there was any issues I would have time to straighten anything out. I paid for the weekend online, I received a confirmation email stating all charges and the amount due at the time of pick up. Smooth sailing so far. I arrive at Hertz about 15 minutes before my scheduled reservation. I wait around until 2pm (the time of my reservation) sit down in the office, go through all the normal procedures, give them my licence, they run my credit card, everything is good. Time to get a car, then they decide to tell me that THEY HAVE NO CARS!!! They tell me I should go home and that they will call me when a car comes in. They informed me that when I come back, we will do a quick walk around and Ill be on my way. I then go home (30 mins away) sit on my couch, then get a call. My car is ready. I then call up another friend and arrange a ride. I get back down there just after 530pm, they then have me sit in the waiting room until after 6pm. I get called in then they decide they need to go through the whole process again, get my licence and run my credit card. This time they tell me they need an ADDITIONAL $200 for the deposit. I told they I only put enough money on the card to cover the total price of the rental and an additional $100 incase I decided to get any insurance. I was never at any time informed of a deposit. The confirmation email CLEARLY states that my card will be charged $55.08 at time of pick up. I was then told that they would be unable to help me. So NOW, here I am, stuck 20 miles from home, no car, my ride dropped me off and was already back at his house. I have no way to get my daughter. They kept me waiting so long that all the other rental places were closed. Not that I could even rent another car because I was already charged for the rental from Hertz!!!P.S. Corporate office is closed on the weekends!P.S.S. I rent A LOT of cars while I travel for work which is VERY, VERY often!!! I typically deal with Enterprise. Decided to give Hertz a shot. WORST DECISION EVER!!!

I WAS PUT IN A DEATH TRAP!! The car was filthy inside and out. The inside was full of dog hairs, the outside had not been washed in which looked like weeks. As soon as I turned car on it said oil change required. I overlooked these things since I had somewhere to be. Halfway to my destination a tire popped. I called my AAA and they changed it. The guy told me one of the other tires was so bald it was going to pop also. I called customer service, the Hemet office, Roadside assistance and the only thing they could tell me is the next place to trade your car is 2 hours and 50 minutes away. I had to drive the vehicle with the spare and a completely bald tire. I was given the run around from everyone I spoke to. As I thankfully arrived safely to my destination, I found out by the Phoenix Hertz that I wasnt even given a contract. The only thing I was handed was the vehicle inspection form. I will never go back and recommend you stay away form Hertz in Hemet.

They gave me a car that i really hate but what im mostly complaining about is that the car was not washed or vacuumed in the inside. I also found a soda can under the seat.. really?? At least clean the car before you rent it out... come on....

I wish i could give something higher then a 3. me and my husband went to Avis and they wanted a CREDIT CHECK and a DEPOSIT just for a rental car. Got in and out of Hertz with keys in hand and NO DEPOSIT in 15 min

I rented a car from Hertz while my car was being repaired. After returning my car they continue to call and put charges on my account stating that i did not return the car. I have made several attempts to clear this up and it still hasnt resolved the problem!
