I went to Midas because my car was making a loud noise from rear driver side. I knew that this had to be an issue with the bearing (hub) or the tire. Ive been dealing with the N. Lindbergh location for almost 30 years (different manager) but what happened this day was they did not actually take me out to show me the problem like they always had done in the past. They put a new hub on my car (about $560). I got my car back and it was still making the exact same loud noise. Since I have 2 cars I just parked it until the tires that I had to order came in. After installation of the new tires the noise was gone. Do I think they knew that my bearings/hub was not bad? 100%.... Sufficed to say my 30 year relationship with Midas is over unless they offer up the labor portion of my money. There is nothing they can say that can make me believe this was a mistake because they didnt even test drive it afterwards because they knew they would have had to admit it on the spot. I write these because I dont want people to get taken for their hard earned money. Be aware my friends!

Josh and I believe the other gentlemans name was either Dave or Mike. But they did a fantastic job handling my situation. I have a completely customized exhaust system (converter and pipes) and my O2 Oxygen sensor needs to be replaced. They kept my vehicle inside overnight until they were able to inspect it the next day. They called me to inform they couldnt perform the job due to the complex nature. I respect the fact they were honest in advising they wouldnt be able to do it versus working on my baby, damaging her and it be another issue. They have a customer for life because of this simple gesture. Being honest isnt a common trait these days but being an honest mechanic.......PRICELESS!!! Ladies, these men treated me with respect and never once talked down to me because I didnt understand vehicle terminology. They offered suggestions to possibly resolve my situation and I am sincerely grateful.

I’ve been bringing my vehicles here since I moved to town. They have been the most honest shop I think I’ve been too. They staff is friendly and will fit you in as fast as possible. When I say honest I mean honest. I’ve brought my vehicles there a couple of times thinking there was a repair was needed and it was something like a fluid top off or just normal wear and tear that doesn’t need to be repaired. They’ll take you in and show you what they see. So thanks everyone for being a place I can trust.

I have been to several repair shops in my day. The guys that took care of me were wonderful and also was not pushy at all. This is one reason I will bring my other car to get fixed here. Do not lose your front people because they are amazing and worth a lot of money!!! Keep up great work !!! Earned a customer for life as long as I am in ST Louis area.

I took my car in for tires early last year. At the time they told me I needed some major work but I didn’t have the money so they said I would be ok for about 6 months the way things were. 6 months passed then 4 more and the knocking became worse-constant. I called and the old Mgr was gone however the new Mgr honored the expired pricing. That was so helpful! I just got my car back and it is running like the day I bought it! Thanks to Mike, Jacob, and the techs that made my car perfect again. Thank you!!

I didnt have much done except a tire repair, but the staff was phenomenal and friendly.

Super friendly saved me alot on my exhaust. Went to a local place wanted to charge me double.

We needed to replace all 4 tires. Not only did Craig give me a good deal for the set, but he recommended them based on experience not just by paperwork. They really care about their work! We will be back.

My friend said he could fix my broken brake line. Hes still a friend but he aint no mechanic. I called Midas and Theo gave options on what could happen once they saw the situation. I had the broken heap towed up there and they started to work. They kept in contact during the repair and found the cause of the leak, broken exhaust bracket rubbing on the line. They fixed it all, line, bracket, and exhaust. It cost more than the case of beer my friend charged, but now I can stop when I get where Im going. Theo and his people do an outstanding job. I definitely took it to the right folks.

Worst service ever. Got charge 150.00 dlls for tie down 3 bolts and work wasnt even done right. Last time I do business with them.

Needed a quick oil change and they were very quick and a good price for it. They didnt try and hassle and up sell me on products and services I didnt need. My only critique is that the waiting area couldve had a table for me to set my drink down on.

I got emissions and inspection for auto state requirements. I made an appointment a couple days earlier. I didnt have to wait long. Staff was friendly too

BEWARE! I went here for what I thought was just brake pad replacement, but they call me saying I need to replace rear calipers, front rotors etc. Quoted me over $1300 in repairs. I take it up to my parents trusted local mechanic and it ended up being less than $500 in the repairs, then after saying I dont have the money for it they have the audacity to call me up again seeing if I still need the repairs, so if you like to deal with liars and hustlers, go ahead take it up there.

Except for the upper athletic really unprofessional. keyonna was really helpful energetic enthusiastic and had a great personality . Made me feel welcome . And the guy Keith who did my Initial oil change was very informative and had great customer service . I recommend this place for the fast work and the quality . The upper authority needs to do better and treat the customers and employees with more respect .

Joe and the team did a great job in providing courteous customer service and addressing my familys tire needs. Great service, great price, great tires equals a smooth ride. While I hope its a while before I need further service, I know exactly where Im going.

I called about a PPI and although we weren’t able to schedule a time, Theo walked me through my concerns on my upcoming purchase. He could’ve just sold me the PPI, but he took his time to ease my worries!

This place is cool it took nearly an hour to get my oil changed but I liked the family feel and how knowledgeable the mechanic was who changed my oil. He was not pushy in trying to sell me anything else for my car but informative. I also used a coupon for my oil change that was not for the exact oil i Needed for my car but it was used any way and I got $5 off which was cool. For the most part I like this Midas.

Five star experience service was amazing. Patrick and Lynn made me a permanent customer. I brought my car in after several trips to a competitor. Patrick kept an open line of communication also provided me with the right solution for my car and had current promotions that saved me a great deal of money! ! The receptionist were very friendly and Lynn is the mechanic of the year! !

Ive taken my moms van for brakes and my 87 Bronco II for over-heating here to this location. Great experience both times from the front desk and both of the service managers. Professional and didnt feel like I was being sold something I didnt need. They were straight forward with me and helped keep my baby Bronco on the road. Prices are fair and Ill be going back if I need service in the future. Highly recommended.

I had problems with my car’s ignition starting consistently. At this location they have a new mechanic, TOM who actually found two more problems with my car’s tires, and he willingly showed them to me. PATRICK and TOM both gave me fair prices and great service to get me back on the road again.

Tiffany was a great receptionist! Dave was my mechanic and was able to get me in close to closing time and showed me everything that was wrong instead him taking my word or me taking his word on what was wrong! Such a great expierence. This will be my go to place for all my car needs from here in out!

I felt like the man who gave me the rundown on my car was treating me differently because I have female anatomy. He explained things to me like I was slow.

Very dissatisfied with them. I had a 730 am Saturday appt and told them I would drop the car off Friday night. My mistake that I dropped my car off at CarX which is less than 1/4 mile away. People cancel appts a lot so I dont fault them for not calling to see if I was still coming. The issue is that I called to check up on the status of the car around 11 and was told that they couldnt find the keys. I told them that I put them in the drop box. I was then told they will pull the car in and let me know. I never heard back from themI had an appointment,said my car was there, the guy on the phone even said what kind of car it was yet no call when the car was not located on the lot. So if the car would have been stolen they would just let it be and not contacted the customer about it not being on their lot.

Too many issues for a so called reputable brand including poor repairs, lies about repairs, broken/stolen parts, misinformation about labor, parts and prices, as well as other concerns. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HAZELWOOD MIDAS. Not even for an oil change. Go someplace else.

People at Midas friendly but made me make an appointment for an oil change and when I showed up on time told me had 1 to 2 hour wait so I left. When I made appointment clerk did not tell me it really doesnt matter. Even though I have gone there for over 2 years I will not be returning

Cheap state inspections, plus they assessed an issue correctly when Firestone couldnt.

I went in for an oil change and before that this guy come out with bill for everything but my oil change receipts.

Had an appt at 10am...was told By Karlie,the red head with black glasses that the brake change would be an hour and a half...they didn’t take my vehicle to the garage until 1130a...then said it will be ready at 1pm...Called at 1:21p and Karlie said that they were “Almost” finished”... get back to Midas at 2pm ,they were not finished and I asked Karlie to clarify what almost finished meant and she said She didn’t know. currently it’s 2:39p and we are still here waiting , I will conclude my review when the are actually finished....ok so I’m back it’s 3:03 and they pull the car to the front and Karlie has the worse customer service, I will NOT recommend this location to anyone....the customer service and time management is horrible

AWFUL!!! They changed out my alternator and battery, and it still didnt fix the problem. They didnt even know how to fix my car! My husband was doing research at work and sending them what to do because they were clueless. Come to find out, the deal of an alternator was bogus. Another shop had to replace it. To make it even worse, I filed a complaint with corporate, and Hazelwood only reimbursed me for the alternator, and they fired the manager! AWFUL! Dont go there!
