After searching for about a week to get my windshield replaced I came across Auto World. I was able to not only get a very reasonable quote compared to other shops but wouldve been able to get in the day I called (Monday) due to their availability. I spoke and dealt with Paul, he has outstanding customer service. He made sure I was in and out within no time. Adam was able to take me home while I waited and picked me up when the work was complete. He was such a pleasure to talk with during the car ride. I look forward to working with them again.

Ive been taking my vehicles there for several years. They are honest, friendly, and helpful. They are ALWAYS willing to work with you to try get things done for the lowest cost possible. At the same time, they do high quality work. They are BUSY, but there is a good reason for that. Often times they diagnose issues and I have them do some work and I take it home and do some work myself to save money. They are always open to that and completely understand the need to save money.

Really disappointed. They gave me a date to check my car out the date came and passed. They had my car for over a week no call no update. I had to constantly call them to find out any thing and they just kept blowing me off. Super unprofessional

They are literally the best out there when it comes to accommodation. I drove up there, and within an hour they had all 4 brakes done. And not just done. But done great. No detail was spared.The front desk is absolutely amazing they make you laugh while you wait and I would recommend to any of my family. Or my un-knowledgable girlfriend. They do not take advantage if their customers.

I’ve never left a review before but I just had to say Thank you to Auto World who rescued me from the side of the road when I broke down on Thursday! They sent someone out to find me and had me towed to their shop even before AAA got there!! They went above and beyond to find the parts and get my car fixed within hours!! This used to be a good shop in the 90s . The standards has gone way down. Everytime I bring my car to the shop they keep it for months without fixing the problem. If you have a newer model car dont go here,you will end up taking it to the dealership anyway. I gave them one more shot this will be my last time every going to their shop!!

Worked on my daughters car. They did the brakes...and that was it. No telling us she needed any unnecessary work done... no rip offs here! Highly recommend you send your kid there if they need reliable work done.

Horrible services, they wont give your car back to you in the time frame they state, and wont communicate when the parts are going to take longer to get there. Left my vehicle for a whole day and they didnt even look at it, and then another day and they didnt even do anything to it either. Better off going somewhere else. No seriously, save your time!!!

Very friendly shop. Cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen in a male dominated environment. They have great customer service. I was able to get in last minute for tire repair, which turned out to be a new tire purchase. Great price, fast service, drop offs available most times. I work and live close by. I have utilized their services many times, always the same great service, I recommend it to everyone.

Went there tire pressure sensor came on I got off highway gave those guys a call and they put air in tires free of charge !!

They were smart, friendly, sensible, and fast. I felt they did a thorough job. They were also pleasant to talk to and took time with you to discuss the best options for you, even if the best option was not at their shop. Great people. Cody was the main employee I interacted with and he was great. Free hot cocoa, mints, and candy in the waiting room.

Has to get my serpentine belt fixed. Took a little longer since they had to send someone to get the new belt. Price was $5 cheaper. They did a great job. Wished they kept refilling the coffee though, but they did have a bowl of mini candy!!!

I love this place. They are very nice and have updated their waiting area to be really sharp looking. They have a service where they will take you home if you are local while they work on your car. Who does that these days? They have cheap basic oil changes and I trust them more than a chain store. They arent any pricier than most shops and with give you and estimate on any work you need done. Ive been to them several times with my old clunker and they were understanding that I couldnt get the work done. They never looked frustrated or annoyed. They would give me estimates and try to encourage me to get the work done for my safety. I now have an updated car and recently did a transmission flush with them. It was very affordable considering how expensive the fluid is. I really love this place and they are great people. For as long as I live in the Hazelwood area I will look to these folks for expert advice.

Honest, fast, diligent, friendly, helpful...Update: October 2020 - I have continued to go back and the staff is great. I am dealt with fairly and honestly. The mechanics will consult with other leaders at the shop if they have questions, and they try very hard not to make mistakes. -I really think I have found an honest Garage.

Great customer service, knowledgeable technicians who will take the time to explain the problem you are having with your vehicle and what it is going to take to fix it. They have reasonable prices and they are good at completing repairs quickly. They also have their own tow trucks, which I have had to use and these prices are very reasonable as well. Plus another awesome service they offer is free shuttle services if you cannot wait for your vehicle to be completed.

I took my car here Friday for them to keep lying to me saying they was going to fix my car it was there for 8 hours they didn’t even look at it until I went back and had to sit in they face until the told me what was wrong still didn’t get it fixed call Monday when they open to see what’s going on still haven’t got a respond it’s been hours I’ll take my money else where bad for business

Ive been a repeat customer at Auto World for probably 10-15 years now. Ive used them for every kind of car maintenance and tire purchase one might normally find. They have ALWAYS been courteous, helpful, and professional. Better yet, Ive always found their pricing to be competitive vs. dealers and Dobbs, etc. I trust these guys way more, too, thanks to the guys that I know have been there forever and have taken care of me. Give them a chance!

This was the recommended place to put the Intoxilock breathalyzer device on my friends vehicle, so we drove drunk and drove straight into the parking lot, jumped a few curbs and stopped right at the front door, just a few inches from the door! We got out of the car, stumbled inside and they said, we know why youre here! Wow they are smart too! They were very friendly and thoughtful. One of their service guys dropped us off at the bar down the street and told us it would take 4 to 5 hours or more. We sat at that bar for like an entire day. When the car was ready, they picked us up! So friendly and honest! Man, we kept trying to blow but it kept locking us out. Boy I tell you, to this day, the car is still in their parking lot. (Take a little time out of your day and have some humor in it, we only live once, laugh a little. For those that think this was real, get a life, its satire. Do not drink and drive, its not worth it.) So here is the honest part, they were very friendly, courteous and explained everything! A great team! I just wish they had longer hours.

They have the nicest womens restrooms Ive ever seen in a car shop. They filled up my windshield fluid during an oil change. They left my car clean despite it being wet and snowy. They were busy but gave me a decent time frame at least.

We started going to Auto World a couple of years ago because of its location and positive reviews online. Ive found the people there to be honest, helpful, communicative, and above board. Their prices are fair, the work is good, and I appreciate the fact that they dont try to push work that isnt necessary.

I love these guys. Theyre always sweet and helpful. But today I had some work done on my car that Ive had done previously--it usually takes 2-3 days. I had to make arrangements w/friends for rides and whatnot.It took these guys one day! So impressed!

Been going to Auto World since 2011; they did great for me on my old 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis. When I went shopping for a new car, I asked them if they could still preform general things on a new car I was looking at before I went and bought it. Trust them with my 2017 Hybrid now!

Initially we did not have the best experience, however the owner really took the initiative by reaching out to us. He was extremely kind and polite, apologized for the error, and went into great detail about what happened. He went out of his way to make things right. I would recommend Auto World, and if youre not happy with the work ask for the owner, Barry. I was really impressed with the level of customer service.

First experience... have always had a good experience with these people. Took my 2010 KIA Soul to them for warranty work. They charged about 1/3 the price quoted by Dealer for the same work. When I took my 2000 F-150, they fixed everything again for about half what the dealer quoted. I just made another appointment for my KIA and am expecting the same experience. These people are great, fair and friendly.

The attention to customer service is a plus here and going the extra mile to get what work you need done at a fair price. Given they are busy from time to time but work to get you back on the road as soon as possible. I recommend Auto World to everyone I know.

I am so glad I discovered this shop! When my brakes went out and AAA never got me, I called this shop. The owner drove tow truck from Hazelwood into the city central west end and got me on a bitterly cold day. - - dropped me off at home along the way. Had my car fixed and ready for me early next Monday morning.Customer service, friendly service, NO BS. Highly recommend.

Charles and staff were amazing. They were the only place in all of the STL metro area who had the tire in stock that we needed. We got there and they got is in within minutes and has us going again in no time. All of the guys were friendly and extremely knowledgable. Highly recommended.

Was missing paperwork for my vehicle inspection. It was 11 in a saturday and the dmv was closing at noon. Charlie said come on over and they would get me what i need. They got me right in. They were so helpful! I got my new plates that morning thanks to Auto World.

We had to have a car towed there and Alex just happened to be in after hours. He came out and asked if he could help, took a look at the car and got the process started so they could jump on it when they opened up. Friendly and super helpful!

I had a tire blow out on the highway. Pulled off on McDonnell and ended up in their parking lot by pure accident. When I was putting on the spare, one of the employees came out and offered to use their tools to help me. No sales pitch of any kind. I asked about getting the tire replaced, and when they found out I was on my way to work, they ran to a nearby warehouse to get the right tire, install it, and get me on my way in very short order. Awesome people, and I cannot recommend them enough!

Tire World was very professional and courteous, there was a discrepancy with the amount I was billed as opposed to what I was told. Took my truck in they said the Pitman and idler arm were bad wouldnt pass inspection so i took it to mullanphy Tire just down the street to have the work done they said there was nothing wrong with it and gave me a pass inspection silp ..... they are dishonest trying to take advantage of people just trying to drum up business had I had them just do the work I would have been out about $700 ....i am reporting this to the Gateway Vehicle Inspection program

My alternator went out while driving on 270 in the rain at 2:30 On a Friday afrenoon. I was terrified and didnt know who to call. I got on the internet and found Auto World and saw they had 4 1/2 stars. I crossed my fingers and prayed they could help. They were AMAZING! They had my van towed and fixed within 24 hours. The staff was extremely friendly, professional and I didnt feel, as a woman, I was taken advantage of. VERY pleased!!!! 5 stars for my experience!! Had to get a good used tire which they installed for $45 and I priced four new tires and was surprised to find out the quote was cheaper than Autotire and they also have financing with Acima financial if youre in a pinch for tires or light repairs.

Terrible service, more over no service at all. Twice. I made an appointment and dropped off my car in the morning at the appointment time. By the end of the day they had not even moved my car into the garage, but they did put a tag on my rear view mirror and leave the doors unlocked. I went in a second time to give them a second chance, I told the guy at the counter my last experience and he blew me off for a phone call. ZERO STARS. I will never return.

My sisters first husband use to take his car to Auto World. This was five or six years ago. After he found out it was under new management, he told me the service he was getting, it seemed like there were more problems with his car. I just had my thermostat and temperature sensor replaced and my temp gauge is still going up and down but not close to the H mark. The mechanic that worked on my car performed a tune up and told me it cleared all codes. But still have a Cylinder misfire 2 code that caused check engine light on my dashboard to appear.???????

I had motor put in 2008 buick lacrosse for 2700 and it was worst experience i had because they mess my transmission broke parts and had to have it sent to percussion transmission. Since they worked on car i had problems first they got motor from junk yard for500 dollar and they new i needed timing cover gasket and then my car is leaking power steering fluid from rack and pinion didnt have these problems before I took it there .so with that being said think twice about autoworld poor service
