I made an appointment to get a oil change. I went in at my appointment time and I had to wait . When they guy checked me in he was very polite, but they did a rush job on my car and they dont even top off your fluids for that price. When I got back in my car they person that change my oil did not put paper on my carpet, he left oil stains.

After taking my flat tire to another repair shop and being told, they patched the hole but recommended buying a new tire at a total price tag of $245, I took my tire and business to Calverts.While they also agreed that a new tire was recommended, they explained exactly why. And I agreed with them. They priced everything at about $125. I agreed and 20 minutes later they called to say they got everything down to $89 out the door! Best part it was the exact same tire we usually buy for this vehicle.Definitely a great experience. And fast they had everything done in less than 2 hours. The other place kept the single tire overnight only to ask for $245. Calverts team is awesome and glad theyre serving the community with good service and rates!

They installed new tires for me, didn’t try to sell me stuff i didn’t need, and my car drove great after and i’m very happy with the experience.

Teck installed new fuel pump. Hard to start before,now starts immediately. Kudos to tech and manager Royce who kept his word. Highly recommend the Hazelwood store.

They took FOREVER for a simple service, changing brake pads. When I checked on my truck every now and then, there were nobody, NOBODY at all in the repair area. They came in 2 hours later saying they were waiting for the brake pads to arrive from their warehouse. The timing and the communication efficenitcy is a 1 star.

I came to have them change my tire because I chipped a rim during a snowstorm. Their customer service was absolutely exceptional. They listened patiently and they were eager to help me. It took 10 minutes and they were finished and they did it with a smile on their face Kim and Steve gave me the customer service that I would give myself and that is rare to find. Thank you so much!

Got a 2nd oil change. I wanted back brakes, nothing wrong with them yet, not rubbing or making any noise but a mechanic told me at the end of last year i would need them this summer. Thought Id get the 59.99 brakes, or even the lifetime for 119. The guy came out and said it needed rotors. I asked why. He said they were thin. It was going to be $400. I said do the oil change only. I will probably NEVER GO BACK TO CALVERTS!!

I love this location. Calvert’s is the ONLY place I go to for my maintenance. The manager, Steve is amazing and very personable! I came in for a basic oil change and he and his staff noticed I had a flat tire. They put air in it and it went flat once soon after. Steve and his crew made sure my tire was fixed before I left to prevent me being stranded on the side of the road. The staff went above and beyond to help me! I refuse to go anywhere else!

I went to Calverts with shaking in my front end of my vehicle. The technician Royce called me and advised that I needed to have my struts replaced on my car. Now i had my struts replaced a year ago at another auto repair shop. When I asked the gentlemen if he could tell if the parts were that worn after being replaced a year ago he really couldnt answer me. I advised i would not be repairing it and that i would take it back to the original repair shop. He also showed me the driver side front tire saying it had a broken belt and that it also needed to be replaced. I paid him for checking my front end which was 43.00 and took it to the place were the struts were replaced originally. After they checked my vehicle they advised it was just the tire and after replacing it that would fix the shaking of the front end, and sure enough it did fix my problem.I understand people make mistakes but had I not remembered that I had that expensive repair done a year ago I would have paid him money for a service that was not needed. So either their techs cant tell the difference between good struts and worn struts or they were trying to blatantly con me out of 1000.00 dollars both of which are not good business practices.If possible I would like my 43 dollars back because I feel that was a waste of my time and had he just told me about the tire I probably would have had it replaced there and both of us would have been satisfied. Instead I had to waste another day and more of my time because of the misdiagnosis of my vehicle.

Never go here. Mechanics have poor attitudes. Very sarcastic, rude & arrogant. Coupons were misleading. Also for the mechanic to be a know it all he didn’t even put my brakes on properly, they were hanging & dragging on the ground which someone else fixed for me for only $30 when I paid Calverts $150

I don’t like the way they mislead people with their coupons in the paper, for example when they say free oil change but its only for a specific oil.

I took my daughters car for brakes repaired and we were both pleased with the service that we received. They had the worked done on time as promised. I would recommend this auto service to anyone that wants service at discount price.

Let me say first I am a long time resident in the area & customer of this location before the big change years ago. Now..... I wouldnt take my sons big wheel to this place. The mechanic Royce is so unprofessional& Corporate plays the phone game. I was given information about my vehicle which was completely incorrect. Thank God I decided to get a second opinion & drove off in my car the same day. Took me over 7mo to workout an agreement with this location about returning my $ that I still did not get in full. I just wanted this matter to be done. If its not a simple tire or oil change dont do it. Fool me once shame on me fool me twice shame on you.

Was charged in almost $40 fee to see if a wheel alignment was able to do which I understand they say that is the policy .then when came out they told me I needed to buy two tires their pricing was extremely higher,I dont understand if my alignment was only going to be $60 I feel that I should be able to come back and still get my $40 fee back that took away from the money I had to get my alignment done. This made me not come back anymore and loss of client due to the fact that asked if I came back . At other calverts Express Auto I was not charge this fee at all and was a customer there for several years. Many other places give you a couple of days afterwards to bring the vehicle back and then reimburse the fee I will not be back anymore.

Had set an appointment at 2 pm and told hem when I did that had to be gone by 3 to go to work. I was told while waiting several times I was the next vehicle in. Almost at 3 they final brought the vehicle in. I called my sister so I could use her car and she stays to bring my car to her house so that I would not be too late for work. I also told them then when I paid for the oil change that she had to leave no later than 3:30 to get home to get her nephew with special needs of the bus at 3:45. Both of us was late

I got in immediately. Everything was explained to me to the point where I could understand it. However I would have really liked to have been able to use my coupon.

Got that early and receptionist was very customer oriented and helped me navigate pricing and my wait was not long the mechanics came to work and started grabbing clipboards to service us! ILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ILL BE BACK FOR TUNE UPS,CHECK AIR CONDITIONING ECT.

My license plate was about to expire and to get new plate I needed to get emissions check and safety check. My car didnt have any problem. Still they failed it and said they need to replace catalytic converter and break pads and they charged me 1000$ s. I dont see any change after they had change the break pad. Its completely how it was before the change. When I asked the store manager why he changed these he told there was check engine light on. I never had check engine light on. The store manager was very rude and didnt want to continue the conversation. Fraud!!!!. Be careful guys. I would suggest not to go for emissions test and safety test in this shop. I am feeling cheated. Remember 1000$ is a huge amount and the deceived me.

Horrible was given a quote for labor for for 2hrs car was only there for one extra 115 then called back car still doing the same thing and the manager says bring it back and we will charge you 39.99 to see what the problem is I was like you did that the first time and still didnt fix. The explanation he gave me for being done so fast its not his fault his mechanic had the right tools I was your a shop why wouldnt you have them. But heres the kicker they have several locations called another one they say you was overcharged and they say we have problems from that address all the time 🙄

Needed brakes and rotors asap and everyone else wanted a wait time spanning out to a week to fix them. Calverts got me in the same day and only took a couple of hours! The price was affordable and they were o awesome with customer service. Im very happy with the service I received and will go there again!

They do not try to sales pitch you into buying or getting other things fixed at that very moment, however they will inform you of what is wrong with your vehicle, its just no pressure. The sitting area is very spacious so you can social distance very easily here.

I was quoted one price at one location but sent to another location for the work to be done. It was almost 100.00 more than the original quote. Then they said it would be done in an hour. 3 hours later I asked what was the hold up and they said they were waiting on the muffler to be delivered. I do not recommend this place (as well as Location) at all. The company already has a bad Rep in the St. Louis area and the reviews speak for themselves. I am convinced that they will do minor work on your car and mess something else up so you can come back and spend more money to get it fixed. You can take your car in working perfectly fine and within the next day have to bring it back because it’s making a noise that it never made before. They’ll look at it, tell you what it is and instantly quote you a price that you can’t afford. They do not take responsibility for a mistake that could’ve been made on their part by one of their mechanics. This is second time and second car I’ve had problems with after getting an oil change there. Don’t bother calling the corporate number plastered on the wall. The District Manager will not listen to what you have to say, interrupt you, argue with you and in turn expect you to be quiet and allow him to speak without interruption. It’s their word against yours. So much for customer service. Save yourself the time, headache, and money. As another reviewer stated, “Cheap isn’t Better”.

This last visit I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. I always use Calverts for all automotive work. Ive been going to them for over 10 years.

Went in to get an oil change with one of their coupons, and was told they would not except it because I required different oil. However, I do not. I went out and called a few different locations of the same company and was told that the oil on the coupon was fine in my car, and that they would happily except the coupon. When I went back in and told them that other Calvert’s said they were wrong, they claimed the other locations were wrong. They will do anything to get out of honoring company wide deals. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

1 star is probably too much.I went to this location to get the brake special for 59.99. My car had brand new tires and I knew that it needed brakes and not rotors. The manager told me that if I needed front brakes then I need rotors. He checked the car and then came back and said 132.00. I asked he what happened to brake special for $60. He told me at first my car is too new and hes not going to do that...its a 2012!...then he said my brakes are ceramic and I said I know I bought them and had my dad put them on...so again told me he wont put anything but ceramic on my car...I told him I asked for 59.99 brakes...he told me he wont do them!So basically you refused me service!I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR TO HIM EVER!! again!

Save yourself some time and money and avoid this shop. Took my car there for a front end alignment because I had done some front end work. Tech didnt even do the alignment because he said the tie rod connectors were rusty and needed replaced. Wanted to charge 150 bucks for 20 dollars in parts. Still left there paying them 40 dollars for absolutely nothing.

Came here at 3pm and my oil change is done in 30 mins!!! By far the fastest service and the employees are also very pleasant. Very happy and it made my Saturday more fun. Thank you

Worked hard to find the part I needed, and expedited getting it.

Took my car in to have a tire replaced. Was surprised to learn that they carried the tire I was needing as a few other shops told me they did not. Will and Lisa were incredibly helpful, and helped to turn an other wise bad day, into an enjoyable experience. Will gave me some great advice on a few other issues I chatted with him about too. I will definitely be back, thanks Will and Lisa for getting me in and out and happily on my way!

I’ll keep this short and simple. After relaying my issue with a charge to their in store manager, I was yelled at and called stupid for even bringing him that nonsense. I’ll push my car over 2 miles to Danmark Auto & Tire in 110 degree weather with my hands tied behind my back before I go back to this location at least, maybe even any Calvert’s.

I had an amazing experience at this location. I took my car here back in January to get my serpentine belts replaced. During that time, they pointed out that I needed front brakes. I knew I needed them. They replaced them too. Great job. I went in April 13th to get a wheel bearing replaced. The rear passenger side was bad. Got it fixed. I also knew I needed rear brakes which they told me to replace. EACH TIME they showed me the parts and why they needed to be replaced. During the repair, they also noticed my driver side front needed a new bearing and showed me that the spindle was destroyed as well. Im no dumb girl. I know if Im being scammed or not. Im also not a mechanic. Anytime you go to have your car serviced you can either trust the provider of that service or not. Either way, you need the have your vehicle fixed. They went above and beyond for me. They were fair and very good to me. I will be back again. Chris the mechanic and Dawn the office manager were wonderful to me. Respect and great service are a two way street.

Not worth 2 cent since under new management.New manager lied about something that I have been getting done by them for years. I provide my own oil for the oil change ( simple stuff ). Dave was the best!

I was told that I needed pads and rotors for my car for over $500. I told the manager Steve that I couldnt afford this amount at this time. He became irate and rude with me over the phone when I denied to get the service. I then asked if they could give me an oil change and he said no and hung up the phone. When I got my truck back the same day and took it else where I found out they broke something under my car and never said anything about it. I will continue to call this company out until Steve is removed !!! He is rude and very unprofessional and all the years of me supporting this company at a different location, I have never been treated so poorly in my life.

They owe me a whole car paid for services that wasnt done and cost me my car that I just got Im reporting them to everyone... Do not I repeat do not take your car here....I got my car done 3/18/2020 as of now been out of a car for almost a week because of there actions. I will be taking this up with them among others😡😡

I went there because my oil light was on, the repairs was $1200 after paying and getting my car back the oil light is still on, took it back now its more repairs need to be done that will cost $300 more dollars, Calverts Express is becoming TRASH!!

I have been taking my cars to Calverts in Hazlewood for years.They are reasonable in price and always friendly.Steve the manager is outstanding person.

I should’ve paid attention to the reviews. I took my car in because my front passenger window was stuck and wouldn’t roll back up. I was able to get in and get my window fixed the same day which was great. The issue is that upon going to check my window, I saw several scratches and scruff marks on my window. I touched it to see if it was a smudge and oh no, it’s DEFINITELY a scuff. I went back in and talked to Bill (who was great) and he said he would look at it. I looked out the front window and saw that he and one of the mechanics were looking at my window. The mechanic proceeds to try to tell me “well didn’t you say you just bought the car? That the scuff is from the price sticker that was on my car.” First of all, how dare you try to say it was from a sticker, a sticker won’t cause a SCUFF mark. Secondly, I’ve had this car for over two months and I would know if there was damage to my window and THERE WAS NOT. Third and most importantly, how dare he argue with me and disrespect me. Just own up to the fact that you damaged my window and fix it; don’t disrespect me and insult my intelligence. Added to that, I was told the district manager would be contacting me back in 24 hours and I have not been contacted at all. DO NOT take your car to this shop. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I want my window fixed!

Took my car to get a safe and emissions done and failed because of tie tread and struts for safety. I get it back and they broke my hood latch and said it was already like then and then said they are not responsible for fixing. I highly recommend not going to them because they are unreliable and liars.

Had oil done and they didnt tighten oil plug. Had all my oil drained out on the highway. Plus side, they paid for the tow but definitely not trusting them again

So I paid this location to fix my brakes back in October. Charged me $400+ , and my car year is a 2015. My brakes was still grinding until yesterday. These people never finished the brake job. The shop been telling me they are grinding because I had rocks in my brakes LIES!!!!So yesterday I finally found someone to tell me what they did wrong. They never completed the brake installation they definitely missed a very important step. If you reading this just save yourself the money and time and take your car somewhere else. The shop that finished they’re incomplete work told me I could get a lawyer on this, and I think I’m gone do just that. If you need a good shop to do oil changes and brakes. I will point you in the right direction, because calverts is not the direction you want to go lbvs.
