I had been looking for a local repair shop to take my cars to for a while, and it seemed like everyone in town recommended Bruces. Ive had a few repairs done at Bruces now, and have found them to be very reputable, doing great work for a fair price, and Bruce is always a pleasure to work with.

All I heard were good things about Bruce’s Automotive. I called on Wednesday they said they were busy but drop the truck on Monday. Left the truck Monday didn’t hear anything g by late Tuesday so I called said they were backed up but by Wednesday afternoon he would call and let me know Wednesday tThursday Friday nothing so I called Friday to find out the status the kid that answered the phone just said Bruce was available and wouldn’t tell me if the truck had been worked on or if it was on the lift no info at all. Here it is Saturday afternoon still no word. So they have had my truck for a week and not even a quick call to say still trying to get to it etc etc. IDK I own my own business and if I waited a week to call someone it wouldn’t look good. Hope they can fix it and good thing I have another vehicle to get around.

Bruces Auto is amazing. Bruce is polite and is not looking to gouge your wallet while fixing your car.

So I’ve been to Bruce’s a lot because my mom highly recommended them and sometimes I don’t have to time to change my oil so I love being able to drop off the car and pick it up later I’ve been to Bruce’s for other repairs aswell like a control arm and diagnostics and things like that. Never had a bad experience.....untill now. I went for a simple oil change. Turns out they put in the wrong size oil drain plug in (they must have broke mine) it’s supposed to be a 17mm and they put a 16mm and stripped my oil pan the labor and pan is valued at $700 at Firestone. I’m EXTREMELY dissatisfied.

After years of problems with the check engine light on my husbands old BMW, someone recommended Bruce and we couldnt have been happier with the service. My husband is thrilled with the result; car is running great! Highly recommend Bruce to everyone.

I love Bruces auto. Bruce himself usually runs the operation, taking calls and scheduling service. He is kind and fair; always has a smile on his face. Always explains things fully and doesnt try to take advantage of you. I know they hire students from South Shore Voc. Tech. and I think its really great to have the school support a great local business. I will be using their garage for years to come!

I go to Bruce’s all of the time. They are very friendly and professional and don’t overcharge. The one issue during Covid is that they don’t seem to care to wear masks. I find that stressful. It worries me about them being in my car and being in the office space.

Outstanding service and knowledge! Ive had a 2009 vehicle in there as well as a 1948 and they fixed them both. Give them a try, well worth it!

Ive been taking my Audi here for maintenance the better part of 3 years, even though i live in west boston. The drive is worth every minute for the level of craftmanship the mechanics there have( especially Ben, if you have an Audi/VW bens your man) as well as the customer service that is provided. The hourly rate for labor is beyond fair. I feel confident when i leave my car there as well, for they have nice shop area in a good location. This shop isnt out to drain every penny from you. Always Upfront about additional work before they do it . i wouldnt take my Audi anywhere else.

If the shop does not personally handle what you need done, which is rare, they can refer to another place that is just as reputable. With a great location, why would you go anywhere else? Bruces quotes are consistantly lower than garages where I live and the work is always done in the time I am told it will take. I also pay less than the quote, never over.
