Its hard to find a mechanic with this good of a rating. I now understand why they get such good reviews. These guys are awesome! When they werent able to take care of my issue, because of my time constraints, they were able to do the next best thing to keep me on the road until I had time to commit to the repair. When I asked the cost, the reply was No worries. On the house. Granted, it didnt take much time but this was unexpected and deeply appreciated. The guys are super friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, helpful, and honest. What else can you ask for from an auto shop?

This is the third time weve used them since moving here. (Previous times: to seirch out tires and realignment, this time, mysterious leaking.) Best mechanic shop Ive ever had. Theyre definitely the fastest. And theyre considerate. They insisted I stay around while they double-checked the problem, which ended up saving me lots of time. They even offered to give me a ride back home or have their (female) secretary do it if I couldnt arrange a ride myself. They are also reasonably priced. They may have spoiled me for any other mechanic, so if I ever move again I will really be screwed.

This is the second time Ive stopped by Rods and both times theyve taken the time to look at my car right then and there. The first time was because my check engine light was on and the second time was to remove a bit of trim that was hanging down from my front bumper. They are quick and kind and I will be back!

My F250 blew a spark plug in Hamilton. Rods was the only one willing to listen to my issue. They contacted a tow service for me and had my truck repaired within 4 hrs. Very impressed with Patrick and crew. Would not hesitate to use them again if in area and needed their services.

Patrick was willing, and found the time to discuss the symtoms of my ailing truck and in a ten minute phone conversation, gave me a very good impression that he knew exactly how to get my truck back on the road.He gave me a work estimate based on our discussion and was very accurate in how much time it actually took, so my bill was within ten dollars of what he said it would be.My truck now drives better than it has for years. Im from Alaska, have never met Patrick before, and would not hesitate to highly recommend to anyone that they count on Patrick and his crew at Rods Auto in Hamilton, Montana to help get back on the road. This was a very satisfying encounter under difficult circumstances.

We brought our car into rods because it was having a few problems, however we didnt have much time. Patrick said he would just come out and plug it in real quick and have a look. So he dropped what he was doing to help us out. A real great guy and an honest mechanic. 100% recommend this shop.

Patrick and his crew are the only auto repair shop I will take my vehicles to. They do fast, excellent work and back up their repairs 100%. Brought in for a squealing noise, turns out it was a gasket that was pinched. It was fixed in 5 minutes no charge. I have gone back again and service was always done with a smile and reasonable price. Recommend highly.

I try to do all my own automotive work, however I had trouble chasing down a bad wheel speed sensor on my 2005 Ford Explorer. Without much notice my wife took the vehicle in to have it read by their advanced diagnostic tools, Patrick took a quick ride determined which faulty sensor it was and sent her on her way. Great outfit, highly recommend them. I will be taking my automotive work there when its over my head,

I only stopped here to inquire about a specific job to install a hand drive system for a handicapped lady. To their defense, they were very busy, but three stars because they never even got back to me about the work at all, and its been weeks already.

I arranged to have a trailer brake controller installed on my 2013 FORD Escape 2.0l EcoBoost. This Is the day before I am supposed to pick up my new trailer. After bringing in my vehicle for a 1 oclock appointment I was contacted by the shop who was refusing to put in the controller, first because It was going to take 4 hrs and then because it wasnt safe. No matter what I was towing, even at 2000lbs, brakes are a good idea. He is telling me that he wont wire it at all. I believe he misquoted me on price and is now backing out because of install time, which I explained in the original call. It is costing me getting my trailer on time. Contact me if you dont believe and I have the call recorded.

Rods treated me right... I had steering trouble with an older dodge truck, and they had me on the road in no time, for far less than I expected to get it fixed. Ill go out of my way to get my repairs done there in the future.
