I was new in the area when my brakes went out. They were highly recommended by my roommate, who’s been a loyal customer there for years. Even though it was a large repair job, they did it professionally and very quickly because they knew I was in a rush to get my car back. While I was picking up my car and mentioning how grateful I was, there was another long-time customer who also started raving about their excellent service. It seems like they are highly trustworthy and reliable!

I was in Hamilton, OH and noticed my tire was low. I was driving down the street and saw this business so I pulled in to see if they could help me. They were so kind and helpful and didn’t make me feel like a burden. I ended up needing a new valve that was $35. They took care of me quickly and I was able to get home safely! I am so grateful to all of the staff who were so accommodating and helpful to me walking in without an appointment. God bless you all, you were my angels in my time of need!

Had a flat tire and it was near the end of the day! I got my car towed there and they got the tire in quickly and within the hour they fixed it! Extremely nice and they value your time! Couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience after an unfortunate one!

I highly recommend this auto shop. I live a few hours from here and took the trip to look at a used vehicle. I brought it in for a used car inspection and received the utmost care and professionalism from the moment I walked in the door. After the test drive, they even allowed me in the back of the shop to get a good look at everything going on with the car. Very detailed and super helpful. My concerns and the vehicle had the knowledge and attention of the four mechanics that were working. Everyone took the time to explain things in detail and even let me listen to the issues with a stethoscope. Pretty cool. I didn’t end up buying the vehicle but I could not recommend this shop enough! Reasonably priced, HONEST and very welcoming. PS- THEY ARE OPEN EVEN THOUGH THERE IS CONSTRUCTION OUT FRONT! It’s easiest to enter and drive around the back.

My daughter used this location for a radiator fix. She went elsewhere and was given a quote of $2000 and here they did the radiator repair for $600 and didn’t try to get other parts added on that the other shop claimed needed fixed. Her car has worked great since.Because of this I went to them for oil change today. They were very welcoming and got me right in. They have made a fan of me and I will use them for my car needs.Located conveniently for me and kind knowledgeable staff...can’t beat that!

Chris and Piwi were both very helpful and polite when I was having a lift, wheels, and tires installed. I also had a switch that needed to be replaced and they tracked down a replacement part very quickly. The customer service and work they did was as good as anyone could reasonably expect.

Had a serious service issue with a hitch installation at U-Haul (I ended up having to take my parts and leave there) and this garage was close by. They went out of their way to investigate parts availability and sent me to a guy across town who had what I needed. Explaining that I was on a time crunch for a trip I had planned, they made room for me on their schedule and did excellent work on what turned out to be a pretty brutal install. Plus, they discovered an issue with my exhaust they fixed the same day. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly.

Im happy with how they were able to get me in so quickly and diagnose my cars issue. We set up a time and day to work on my car, and when that time came, they ended up ordering the wrong part. They were apologetic, but either offered me a higher price part they had, or to come back a different day. Neither were an option for me at that moment. They understood and ended up doing a temporary fix on the issue so I could be on my way and travel as I needed. The issue ended up costing me less than quoted due to not replacing the fixed issue, which was nice, but still wish I got the problem resolved then. Thats why only 4 stars and not 5. The staff is friendly and seem knowledgeable, so I would recommend.

I was told by several people to take my car here for repairs, as a single woman I need a trusted mechanic. Wow did I get taken! 824.00 thought it was pricey but problem was fixed. Nope three weeks later noise in brakes was back, I took the car back and then was quoted 326. To clean and lube my breaks, no apology or offer of a discount for not fixing in the first place. I told them No thanks and took my car to Carter’s in Fairfield, quote there, less than 100.. Carter’s will get all of my business now! Thanks Pfefferle’s , now I know which mechanic to go too!

There’s no point in returning to this place they changed my engine when it could have always just been my starter because they didn’t change the starter first I don’t blame the mechanics I blame the manager the guy is a real con everytime I talk to him he sounds short with me and dishonest like he never wanted to tell me all the things that were wrong with this car before taking my entire backpay from me. I won’t be returning unless the engine breaks down and no one else honors this supposed 100k mike warranty i was promised. I called him today asking why my coolant was leaking and how much he thought it would cost to fix he said it would be several hundred dollars. I then proceeded to take my car to jiffy lube where the mechanic said he was full of it and that I should go get my radiator flushed and change to prestone that I shouldn’t be using the type of fluid that’s in there. So that’s what I plan to do at Goodyear. Then imma get my oil changed at jiffy lube. Like I said the mechanics here are not at fault for this one star. The manager who promised me a 5500 dollar 100k miles guaranteed engine and ended up charging me 6500 is at fault. I do not respect him for taking advantage of me and my mental illness. Do not have your car toed here.

Today I had my oil changed, filters changed and new wipers put on as well as a tire rotation and every guy in there was nothing but kind, quick and professional! They got me in and out relatively quickly and my van is running nice and smooth! Only place we take our cars! Thank you!

We live 30 minutes from the Fairfield shop, but its worth the drive. We dropped our old Mariner off for a new ignition switch to be installed and a front end knock. They took care of everything on time. Pfefferle is the only garage that I trust in the Fairfield area. I try to support local businesses, rather than large chains, whenever possible.

We’ve used Pfefferle several times now. We always are able to get in quickly and the car is done in less time than estimated. Good service, good prices, definitely recommend.

The crew here are amazing. Chris was honest and upfront about what my car needed. The prices are super reasonable and the work was completed quickly and correctly. Ive been bringing my cars here for a few years because I trust their quality of work.

They were able to get my car in for an oil change the same day, I dropped it off and they were done within an hour. I also had some questions about tires for another car I own. They took the time to listen and gave me a printed out sheet with different tire options and prices. I work hard for my money and they gave me the service I would expect !

Came in for valve cover gaskets cause I had a misfire and the plug was clearly covered in oil. I had no time to replace it so I went here. They wanted to replace other parts as well that were overpriced. That didnt bother me, what did was not test driving it after taking that much apart. I went to pick it up and as soon I started it. It was shaking real bad, took it a mile down the street starting misfiring going down the street couldnt go 40mph. They worked with me on the price fixing the real problem but was a major inconvenience.

Im not one to leave reviews, but these guys totally deserve the great things in life. They went above and beyond to help me in my little jam today. Not to mention the patience they had with my 10 phone calls of questions while trying to work. It was a scatterbrained kinda day for me, but thats neither here nor there. 10 out of 10, these guys will not let you down. I havent had quality service like that since the 90s. 👌

I initially took my car to a Monro and was quoted nearly $2000 for a new radiator and thermostat. Pfefferle informed me it was only the radiator and did it for $600. Definitely recommending this place to anyone and everyone.

Regarding our 2010 Ram 3500 that broke down near your shop. This is on behalf of my father (and boss). We run a small construction business with only three trucks, and one went down over an hour away from HQ. My father went here and found that someone was happy to assist in attempting to jump the truck nearby offsite. We found that the truck needed an alternator while jumping. Less than five miles on his way back, he turned around to give them our business, (we’re extremely particular). They had the truck two days and got it back to us in the time frame they expected and presented. He felt taken care of enough here to ask me to leave this review, what does that tell you?

The service was quick and good. And they told me what they thought the problem was which was ridiculously easy which surprised me when they wanted to charge so much to do it. But other than that, a decent experience.

Pull in one day and they put air in my tire. Went back the next day because the same tire was low again. They got me right in and found a screw in the tire wall . Ordered me a new tire then put my spare on and I returned the next morning and only took 20 minutes to have the new tired replaced and balanced. Great job guys!

Went all around town to find a place to put a set of tires on 20 inch wheels with in an hour before I had to go out of state. Not only did Pfefferle tire do the job they did it in less time and they did it exceptionally well. I was referred to them by a competing tire store. I was told Pfefferle tire was the only place the competitor would take my car to because of the size of my rims and being painted black they will show any scratches or scuffs. 110% recommend and I found my new tire store.

These people are crooks! They will set you up to come in and look at your car and hit you with a hidden charge of $57.00 for it. Chris Pfefferle is one of the rudest customer service representatives that Ive ever met in my life. We spoke with them on Friday and they said bring the car in Monday and they would take a look at it. Never mentioned it would be a $57.00 charge nor had us sign any paper warning us of this charge. Then the man said we couldnt have our car back until he was paid $57.00 for doing nothing at all to the car. This is not only a scam to take peoples money but also the rudest person Ive ever conducted business with. If I could give them 0 stars thats what they deserved. On our paper it even says parts $3.34 and they did no work to the car so how could there be a charge for parts. Just horrible service and rude employees. I wouldnt suggest anyone to ever do business with this company! Especially Chris Pfefferle.

I took two vehicles to another local shop asking them to do alignments and safety inspections on both. My SUV was tugging to the right and the truck seemed fine, but I knew it was due.They called shortly after drop off to say that the alignment on the truck couldnt be done because there was an issue with the ball joint, but that the SUV was done and everything looked great. Picked up later that evening and WOW the SUV was absolutely messed up. I drove it down the highway and ended up crying because I was so afraid -- it was slamming from side to side at random and I was nearly hitting the retaining wall and the vehicles driving in the lane next to me. I was terrified. I pulled over as soon as I could and called the shop. They advised that it had absolutely nothing to do with them and that I could drop the car off, but they couldnt have it back to me for three or four days and that Id be paying for whatever they did since it had nothing to do with the alignment. I had NEVER had this problem with my car until I took it into them. I was stunned, but knew it had to be fixed.On a whim, we contacted Pfefferle, who told us we could bring it in right away and theyd look at it ASAP. Upon arrival, we were told of two possible issues and that it would likely be an easy and quick fix.They were correct! Come to find out; it was the SUV that had the destroyed ball joint, NOT the truck. It was thought that what finally screwed it up was setting it back down off of the lift. Pfefferle had it fixed in just a few hours, realigned it and now its driving like new. Theyre alignment was also $30+ less than when I had it done the day before.I trust this shop. They new driving my car in its current state was dangerous and saw to it that it was fixed ASAP even though they had other cars lined up to be looked at. Their pricing was fair and their mechanics are knowledgable. I will be recommending Pfefferle to loved ones.

If youre looking for an honest repair shop this is the place. I have had them fix electrical issues on a Dodge Ram 3500 to troubleshoot starting issues on old Nissan. The repair work was completed quickly and without issues. They have also put tires on my track car, and the balancing job was 2nd to none! The icing on the cake is the waiting room is clean and modern.

We have 2012 Ford Flex and new Ford Flex. The 2012 needed tires bad. The wheels on new flex were ugly and I thought i would like to change wheels out with 2012 flex. So I set out to exchange my wheels between my cars take new wheels and tires off new vehicle and put on my 2012 flex and take my older wheels buy new tires and put on newer flex. When calling Chris and letting him know what I needed he started complaining about appt time and hrs needed as well as tires needed to be ordered bc I also wanted a size bigger for the wheels I was taking off 2012 and putting on new flex. Special order if they dont fit you still own them is what he said. Ok finally got appt to where I could get both vehicles there. Chris never suggested that they could help me with getting vehicles there with me living 5 miles from there. Anyway I went in there with old vehicle that needed the tires and said just put new tires on and forget exchanging out between the two vehicles. Chris I guess didnt like this couldnt believe I had changed my mind i was tired of putting air in tires every day. He said you own tires and once they are on there they are on there no going back may be to big. After all said and done tires did fit and I left. Next day I noticed scratches on every wheel. Made a phone call to Chris about my concern and he said well you gotta come back in if ya want me to look at them. Duh... They are only open Monday thru Friday. My husband and i took car in he came out said my machine didnt do that My husband said your the last one to touch our wheels. His response was Do I need to call the police is that anyway to treat a new customer. BEWARE OF CHRIS HE HAS SOME FORM OF PERSONAL PROBLEMS HE DIRECTS TO INNOCENT CUSTOMERS. He didnt like us from the first phone call. We did nothing to him.
