Dan & the guys really turned things around for us & we really super appreciate it! Well be customers as long as we have trucks & in this area. I will elaborate more on the specifics of how well a questionable 1st experience was rectified after we take our trip. They stand behind their business & do care about their customers- we just had to let them know. They really do care about their business & customers-thanks Dan!Update/elaboration: a few days after our trip up north & our overheating issue we had the radiator repair our truck is still running much better. Well still have to get another flush recommended by Dan to get all the gunk out. He took the time to work with us the following business day/Mon. when the flush didnt do the trick the previous Friday when through a review I just voiced what was going on & my disappointment. Everything has been rectified & Dan even wanted to know how our truck was doing after our trip!

Clean, comfortable chairs in the waiting room. Lots of space in waiting area so you don’t feel like you are sitting too close to other customers. My first time here, but I will DEFINITELY be back!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience at TGK Auto in Ham Lake. Dan helped me out from Start to finish and was incredibly helpful, professional, and knowledgeable the whole time. I was able to get some aftermarket rims, go a few sizes bigger on my tires and level my truck out with a lift in the front. I feel like I have a new truck and it was something I have wanted to do for a long time. Truck looks great and I’ll definitely only be using these guys moving forward!

Great experience! Staff professional and friendly. Went first for oil change. They provide a really detailed report on what their inspection found along with photos! Found this really helpful. Up front pricing on cost of repairs. Few weeks later my AC wasn’t blowing cold air. Got me in quickly and found out I just needed to recharge. Had them install cabin air filter while at it. Prices very reasonable and I really appreciate that they aren’t pushy about making repairs. They just provide you with detailed info so you can make an informed decision. Will continue to use their services!!

Huge THANK YOU to team TGK! Our transmission went out pulling our camper trailer on a weekend trip to lake Mille Lacs. We figured wed have to tell the kids wed have to cancel the trip and try to find a way back home. However, Greg and the team worked to get us a loaner truck and installed a new ball on the hitch that was compatible with the trailer. Just another shop. I drove quite a ways out of my way to try and visit what I thought was a specialty shop to take care of an alignment on my 2500HD with a simple 2 level kit. After two visits the truck still pulls to one side. They tried to tell me it was the tires but when we rotated them the same problem persisted. Then the tech had to have me ride along with him to prove that indeed it did pull as apparently it didnt when he drove it.....It was never about money or me not wanting to pay for further service to fix it. They just didnt seem to have the knowledge or capability over any other tire shop to get the job done.

Always take my cars to TGK. Great service at reasonable prices. Inform you of services that are recommended but never push.

I brought my vehicle in for a typical oil change and was impressed by the thorough assessment done by the technician in addition to my oil change. This included accompanying photos along with clear and simple explanations to support the assessment. The assessment included from the condition of the headlights to fluid levels, belts to wear on tire treads, pads, rotors, struts, etc.All in all about 80 things they looked over...this just for an oil change! I dont think dealerships provide this extensive of a condition report. Will definitely be bringing my business here and telling my friends. Thanks TGK Automotive of Ham Lake!

I would recommend this place for sure. Very good service. I went in without an appointment but not sure this would be good idea. It worked great for me but I’d call them first next time. They were personable, and showed me exactly what they were doing. Great business and super clean.

I brought my 2018 GM Truck to get leveled and aligned and TGK was awesome to work with. I spoke with several folks on the phone and in person all of whom were very professional and happily answered all my questions. I did not feel like I was just at another corporate dealer or chain store who did not care about me. Wile I could have saved a few bucks going to a less reputable shop, I was more than happy with my choice to have TGK service my truck and even drove an hour to do so. TGK was able to identify and repair an issue I had been battling with for nearly 2 years within a 2 day period. The inspection process is extremely impressive including photos and notes of everything they check and give honest opinions as to what needs attention now or later. I’d recommend them to anyone!

This was my first time visiting TGK and I would go back here in a heart beat. They were very professional with everything from the estimate, to scheduling, to fixing everything! I needed new brakes and rotors. They did a full inspection (took pictures, put it on their portal, etc) of my vehicle before replacing them. While they were replacing the brakes they discovered my calipers were bad. They communicated everything which was nice because it was going to be an expensive job, and they didnt just do it without talking to me first. I am so impressed with them and will definitely come back if my car has any other issues!

They did some custom work on my shuttle bus, installed a hitch mount to be able to bring our bikes and other cargo. Work was very good quality and done quickly. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Great customer service. They know what there talking about. I had my vehicle dropped off for 4 x 4 service, exhaust repair and oil adaptor leak. No more leak. Great job on exhaust. They went through the 4x4 system and checked everything and was able to repair the small problem, its working great. Im very satisfied with what I paid for the work and the quality of work and customer service I would and will recommend this company.

TKG automotive in ham lake did a great job on my 2015 GMC 2500 Serria! I went with a 4.5 to 6.5 BDS suspension lift. I love the look that this lift brought to my truck it looks and drives great! The only thing is, is that it my sit a little higher then I wanted it but I talked with Dan about my concern and he told me to let it settle and if we need to adjust the lift that when I come back for 500/1000 mile check up that they would get it right for me! After spending that kinda money on a lift I want it to be actually what I was looking for and Dan and the guys at TGK said that they’d take care of me! I would highly recommend and will be going back for other things that I may need later down the road for my pickup!

Walked in about an hour before close with an out of the ordinary request, expecting to have to come back in a couple days, if they were even able to help. They jumped all over it, told me to just wait, theyd take care of it right away! Less than 30 minutes later, they put the part Id ask them to modify in the back of my truck, we settled up, and I was on my way. Ive stopped in before to ask questions, but hadnt been a previous customer (theyd sent me to places better able to take care of what I was looking for). Always friendly and accommodating!

This place is amazing. I went in to get my brakes done. Not only did they have a fair price, they didnt try to upsell me on anything!They had a very reasonable time frame for my appointment as well as my work. They had a welcoming and clean lobby and amazing bathroom. Not what i expected from an auto shop. I was able to work in the lobby while my car work was being completed. I was told at the Eden Prairie TGK I would need two new tires a camber kit, alignment and time and labor costs may vary depending on how rusted my, quote, Minnesota truck could be. I do most of the work on my truck myself short of my actual engine, I brought the truck in because a vibration in the front i was confused about due to a growing vibration caused by scalloped tires that wer being scalloped slowly by my alighnment.i drive about 100-300 miles day and am way over my rotation miles. My truck has allways been rock solid drive untell recently, called the Ham Lake location they had stated to me that doesnt sound correct bring it in, I brought it in they checked it out ran full diagnostic through my truck told me my alignment was well within standards and showed me! Rotated my tires and said you may notice a slight vibration in the back until they wear flat but once it goes away rotate them with every oil change and youll be fine. Needless to say probably saved me $1,000 and felt very honest. I would recommend Ham Lake TGK to anybody it is my new shop and I live a little over an hour away from it and live next door to a shop. That should say plenty enough right there. I appreciate your work ham Lake TGK! Truck is driving grate.

I wanted to purchase parts to install myself on my truck. In about one minute I was given a quote and it was competitive with anything online. They told me it would take a day to get the parts(AMP Extreme Power Boards) and that is all it took. I was given an approximate arrive time and told I would get a call as soon as they arrived. I believe I did. Absolutely no attitude or making me feel as though they were going out of their way for me. Just prompt courteous service from Jeff and the entire staff. They even loaded the parts into my truck and it was a busy Friday afternoon minutes within closing time!The shop looked busy and clean. Nice waiting area and showroom too. Hooze 4x4 is 30 miles from my home but it was definitely worth the drive to do business with good people. I will return. Thanks Jeff!

I brought my car in to have it inspected before purchasing it from a private seller. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile from everyone at the front desk. Check- in was a breeze and I felt very comfortable handing my car over to the mechanic. I was very impressed with the waiting area, it was equipped with snacks, beverages, free WiFi, and a TV. I was able to get some work done while I waited for the inspection to be completed and before I knew it they were calling my name. The mechanic gave me a detailed run down on the inspection and explained it simply to me (I don’t know a thing about cars). I was very happy with the service I received and am looking forward to doing business with them in the future. 10/10 for customer service and 10/10 for overall experience. I spent a lot of time and money having another shop install 4.88 gears that introduced vibration and noise into my jeep. After several return visits to the first shop they through in the towel and blamed it on my tires. I stopped at Hooze and asked them to evaluate. Jeff was extremely professional in working methodically through possible causes, and finally determined defective parts were installed. Hooze replaced them, and the jeep drives like new, I could not be happier. The next time I have any powertrain or accessory needs I am going strait to Hooze, anywhere else is a waste of time and money. .

I dont know where to start. Probably one of the best shops Ive ever dealt with!! ( and I was a former mechanic myself). Needed some Torsion Bar Keys installed in an OBS Tahoe. As a MN truck needless to say they were probably frozen in place with rust. Originally went to Kremer in Inver Grove Heights where the service writer was telling me I might need new Torsion Bars, Lower Control Arms, Upper Control arms - basically he didnt want to work on it. Guys at TGK also let me know I could have some issues but said they would give it a whirl and what do you know - they got it done no problem! Price was super reasonable too, and super friendly and professional service. Honestly I was very impressed with these guys. I do most of the work on my cars myself, but if I encounter anything I cant handle at home I will be bringing it here, and if any family or friends need work done Ill be strongly recommending TGK. Great work guys!

Great service and very knowledgeable about 4x4 suspension. I had a Metalcloak lift installed on Jeep JL and purchased/installed tires. Mainly worked with Dan who was extremely helpful and very accomodating to setup appoints. Had issue with one of the coils in the lift. Dan took it upon himself to resolve the issue with Metalcloak resulting in Metalcloak sending replacement coil. Once coil arrived, they were able to get me in very quickly to replace coil. Great service, good price on install, and good price on tires. Everyone I dealt with was very helpful and genuinely cared (unlike many auto places were it almost seems like you are burdening them). Highly recommend.

I had my truck in 2 different shops trying to fix an issue on a 2001 7.3 powerstroke. Its an old truck and many did not want to touch it. After dumping close to 3K at shops replacing injectors, sensors, harnesses, and glow plugs, I brought it to Hooze. They had it diagnosed and fixed within a couple hours.These guys are top notch. I installed a 3.5” lift on my 2017 4runner and they were able to get my alignment done quick. I’m traveling through on my way back from California, I scheduled an appointment 2 days in advance as I planned my route. They did great work and also they have a decent area to relax if you’re waiting onsite; drinks, magazines, toys for kids. Would recommend and come again if/when necessary.

I brought my truck in to fix some welds put on by a different shop on my exhaust. After a short discussion Greg identified other problem areas associated with the exhaust problem. The shop was able to fix the first welding problem and square up the rest of my exhaust so it’s now not hanging on by duct tape. Thanks Greg! 2015 Ram 1500
