First of all they only have two OPI options, the guy didn’t know how to file nails or paint them. My nails are all bulky and have huge space gaps on the sides. Poor guy tried. Cheap price, but never going back.

Van and her husband are the best! I came from Dallas looking for a place that would do great nails and make them last. The first place I tried Rosies nails, ( bc star was closed that day)my nails cracked and broke within 4 days... Discouraged I went to Star to give it a try. Not only did Van talk to me the whole time she smiled so much and told me she would take care of me from now on. She explained the shaping she did and how my nails would last this time. For design I showed them a picture and her and Jasmine did an outstanding job. Its been almost a week my nails are intact down to every detail. I will be back this is my new nail home. I been going to this place for three years, never had a problem with any one that works there. They do good nails everytime I go every 2 weeks, they do it how you want them done. I love this place

2/10 - would not recommend.... I came in for a GEL manicure and toe polish change. Half of my small toes are not painted fully. The gel on my nails has air bubbles underneath and is chipping right off less than 12 hours after leaving the shop. Ive never had a gel manicure fall apart so quickly or look this bad. Apart from that, Van, the nail tech was rushing back and forth trying to work multiple stations at once. How can you paint my nails properly when youre running back and forth to another client TOUCHING HER FEET... its unsanitary and unprofessional!!

The worst manicure and pedicure I ever done in my life!!! Completely doesn’t worth the money and time. Could not properly clean, cut cuticular and apply the nail polish, especially gel. I had to cut cuticular myself after the salon employee. And the gel polish is not even on the nails.😭Look like they never study for it, means no professionals.I’m very disappointed.😭😭😭

Wonderful service. They treat you like family. They know what you like. They are fast most of the time. Of course holidays there is a wait at times but its worth it be patient.

I moved from Miami to Fort Lauderdale and it was not easy for me to keep going back and forth to Miami to get my nails and feet done. Before I went to any nail place down here in Fort Lauderdale, It took me about 2 hours driving and reading reviews about all the nail places I drove bye. So the last place I drove bye was Sky Nails on Hallandale and when I went in there I told the lady that is the owner that I am really picky about my nails and I don’t play about my hands and feet. She said that they are a very clean business. I’ve been doing both my hands and feet for more then 30yrs and I have never had a problem. Now after 3 months going to this place I was wondering why my two big toenails was hurting me when I was wearing close shoes. So I took off the Polish and both my big toenails are darken in color. I will never go there again. I rather drive back down in Miami then go there again.

I will NOT tell anyone to go to sky nails...everytime you go there the lady that owns the place will give you a different price and you will be getting the same thing you had done when you went the first time... meaning she will charge you more...and I had my nails design the design came off the polish started chipping the day after I had my nails done which was Not the first time it had...I went back and had her to redo my nails and the same thing happened....it only been4 days since I had my nails done....... Dont GO

These people have perfected the art of scamming. I wanted to like this place so bad, after having been to this place many times over the course of like 2 years. I even followed them to their new location (where they are located now) and since then, they have began to scam customers out of money by charging for services never received. The first time they scammed me, I came in and got only my nails done. I came into the shop with my toes painted already and when it was time to pay, the lady charged me for my hands and feet knowing she never even touched my feet. So I tried to let that incident go, as I still wanted to like the place. However, most recently I went there to get my nails done again, and again, no service to my feet. When it was time to pay, the young girl told me a total again for a service that I did not get. I questioned it, and she begin to pretend to not speak English as if I had forgotten the entire 30 minute conversation we had just had while doing my nails. So while she pretended to not understand English, she kept telling me that the price of my service changed. I told her to show me on the price list on the wall, where that change was. She could not justify it, because the price of my service was still what I intended to pay as always. So she stood there looking helpless and then her co-worker stepped in and said “we have to give you money back” and reached in the drawer to hand me cash back. Then the young girl had the nerve to ask me for a tip before I left. I told her “no because you already tried to steal it.” They are becoming scam artists and customers should be aware of paying for their services with any type of cards. If I decide to return, in between finding a new nail salon, I will give them cash only and record my entire interaction. These people do nice work, but how can they expect to keep clients with those kind of scammy shenanigans. David and Van should be ashamed of themselves. Doing too much to make a buck. Smart business owners wouldn’t need to take that route. Period!

The nail technicians are very professional and friendly the moment you stepped in they make you feel at home

I went in without an appointment to this very busy nail salon. I wanted the eyelash extensions and the young lady was able to do it between customers. She did a fantastic job and Ill be going back soon.

As per everyone below... same issue I got my toes done ... the girl is nice but she does not know how to shape toe nails and when she painted my nails they were streaky and not smooth.. they do not know how to polish nor shape nails which I would have read reviews before giving them my money ... never again ... soon as I went home I took off the polish and went to other nail shop to fix the damage of her making my toes nails short and uneven

The girl Tracy does good nails but, her attitude is so rude. She has no tactic while speaking to other customers, she needs training in customer service. But her work is really good my acrylics last a while and the polish is good. The rest of the team is cool and friendly buy shes just idk she needs training.

Ive been going here for 2 years now and its a nice place and clean environment.As far as manicures go ,it depends on who does your nails . Ive had great and horrible experiences ,usually the ladies are better with more intricate designs and shapes . they are good with eyebrows but be specific about what you expect .Theres usually a wait on weekends so the best time to go would be weekday mornings

Love Sky Nails! they use great polish, they have amazing massage chairs and they massage your feet and legs, it is truly like a spa for an incredible price (I had french pedicure and manicure for $40 last time...) They speak very little English but I LOVE THEM!!!

I went there because it was really close to my house and its always busy; walked in, a young lady warmly welcomed me and I asked if I could do acrylics. I was lucky there were only 3 more people...she took me right away, asked how I wanted them and, in record time, I was out with a beautiful full set of french style acrylics. Love the place. Prices are really good. Excellent serviceBe mindful though, it tends to be busy...plan ahead. I was lucky I could go at noon in the middle of the week because I was on vacation, but if you are going in the afternoon or weekends, its busy but they are fast and efficient. Highly recommend it.

Rude and not professional, guy literally hurt me while shaping my nails and than blame it how my nails was short . Just trying to add stuff to service and increase your bill and then get offended if you dont want to do it. I went many times only got good service once. It was close and convenient and dont ask for much. Enough is enough. Skip it

They don’t listen to you because they’re too busy trying to make your bill chunkier, they don’t understand English so it makes it impossible for them to listen to what you want or don’t want with your nails. Plus they put 50 layers of polish on your nail. Never coming back.Update:Just left from doing my nails... it looks like a 5 year old did my nails. Actually.. a 5 year old can probably do a better job. Gel nail polish is literally stuck to my skin.

I went in Sunday at 4:30 and was told to wait after being asked what I was there for and was told to wait. At 5:00 pm I was asked if I wanted to wait again until after she was done doing a whole acrylic set for another customer. I said cant you do my eyebrows in between? It takes 5 minutes. She said this customer will get mad. I asked the customer she laughed and then they all laughed at me. I am a disabled individual and was tgere with a service dog. I am tempted to file against the Disability Act.I came all the way from Miami Beach and have been there numerous times when she has stopped taking care of me and done another customer.I am very disappointed and I truly believe it has been the worst service I have ever gotten and not only that, they made me feel horrible.Having said this, you have lost another customer.

It was my first time at sky nail , the young lady did a great job .she was very nice .i forgot to ask her for her name .They charge $1 if you pay with credit card or debit card so bring cash if you want to avoid that extra charge.

Went with my bestfriend to get a soak off. I called over the phone and asked prior to the going because I had other options. Being that this one was the most convenient choice, I decided to go. When I entered, the first lady that began to take the gel off had absolutely NO idea what she was doing!!! So I had to wait for this other guy. Once he started, he took FOREVER to soak off my nails and he didnt do it properly. I went to go wash my hand after he said that he was finished and I realize that the acrylic nail was still on my natural nail. I mentioned it to him and he went back over it, this time he damaged my actual nail and he still didnt remove the acrylic nail. I was so at loss for words, I just decided to hurry up and get out of there because I had place to go and he was just taking his mighty time. Me and my bestfriend went up to the counter to pay and the lady told us that it was $10 each. I looked at her like she was crazy because I called twice asking how much it was to soak off acrylic nails and she said $5. I explain this to her and what she told me along with their HORRIBLE SERVICE and she still charged us $10 each. Personally, I would not recommend this place to anyone... 0 STARS

So I have 3 kids a 17 year old a 12 year old and a 10 year old. For the holidays my oldest and I received a gift certificate for a mani pedi. I didnt want my younger two girls to feel left out so I said lets make this a thing. I never been to sky nails before this day. I walked in and asked the lady how much would it be for a simple mani pedi for a 10 year old and a 12 year old the lady said 25 and I was like wow thats a little much I only pay 15 across the street so the lady said ok Ill do it for 20 so I said ok thats fair. So my kids and I come back a little later on after running a few errands and we get our nails done and my older daughter didnt want her mani which was included in the gift certificate so I ask the lady if we can deduct it from one of the 20$ for one of the younger girls and she turns to me and says 20$ only for 10 year old not 12 year old and I asked why if she was getting the same exact services and we had an agreement earlier of the price. She basically said she told me the 12 year old was 30 which I told her never once in the conversation did the amount of 30$ come up, mind you I was calm not yellingor anything and she basically got upset and was very rude and didnt even want to try to settle it like 2 adults. She basically did services without me authorizing the cost because she had me thinking it was the price that we discussed earlier but because my younger kids were their and Im trying to teach them not to be ratchet I paid the extra cost and even tipped the girls that did the job because it was no fault of theirs but what I really wanted to do was not pay a penny and just walk out to teach her a lesson so other then the lady charging me more then agreed the girl and guy that did our nails were very nice and professional and our nails came out great.

Even though their prices are resonable, I cant stand their customer service. The owners husband is extremely rude aside from him the rest of the staff isnt rude but I dont get a welcoming vibe from them. And the worse part is that I get half ass quality, especially from the 2 men

I went on Wednesday 12/14/16 to Sky Nails last minute because I was in the area. I only went because I knew that my nail shop would be closed by the time I made it there, but I desperately needed my nails done. I was going out later that night and wanted a full set. I wanted a medium length square set of acrylics with gel polish. Which one of the easiest styles to do with nails and somehow the guy who did my nails still managed to do a trash job. He made the acrylics so thin and the shape was off and uneven , while doing my nails I tried to tell him that they needed this or that nail is crooked. But he kept saying he would fix it, he didnt. I can say that he wasnt rude he was very polite but his work was unacceptable. I understand that I came later in the day and was one of the last customers but your work should still be on point. Paying $45 just for nails is a splurge for me having that Im a college student that has to work and provide for herself, I was very disappointed. I didnt want to be a burden so I payed and I left.I couldnt bear to leave my nails the way they looked so I called back on Friday and told the gentleman who answered the phone that I wasnt satisfied with my nails, could I come in to fix them. I couldnt come that Thursday because I was too busy with work. He said ok come in. I dont think it should be a big deal Im a customer and I deserve to be satisfied at the end of the day.I came in and told them that I wanted my nails fixed. The polish was chipped only after one day and everything was disappointing about this set. The guy who did my nails for reference I think his name is Danny, Daniel or something jet black hair usually slicked back and wears a red, white and blue mask. He came to me and asked me whats wrong I told him, then he looked at my nails and said It look fine, it fine. Polish Ill change. Im like no its more than than the polish and I can see that he was getting annoyed, but I wasnt leaving until someone fixed my nails. I told the other ladies that I wanted someone else to fix my nails because I didnt like his work. They all look annoyed but at the end of the day customer satisfaction matters. After waiting for about 30mins or more they got another guy who works there to attempt to fix my nails, they look a little better but still one of the worst sets that Ive ever gotten. I didnt want to ask for a refund because I knew that they wouldve refused, and I wouldve probably been stuck there arguing and looking like the angry black girl. So when he asked if it looks better, I said yes, thank you and left. Never again.

I was a walk in and the owners wife stopped what she was doing to do my eyebrows she did it very fast and left alot of hairs... I went to do a pedicure and the old lady was ramming her nails in my skin... Then i asked to get my nails done too and this lady who already walked out the door who was complaining about her nail color walks right back in and wanted to change her nails... I had three different people start on my manicure and the owner got loud and stupid with me because i complained about the service.... Horrible place and i walked right out... No work ethics whatsoever in that nail salon... I would never bring them business again.... Owner needs to humble himself and learn that thr customer are always right.... The owner is sooo rude and disgusting... I will make sure i tell everyone not to go here

The. Worst. Ever. Ive frequented Sky nails for the past 2-3 years because its right beside my apartment complex and because the previous owners were very nice to my 3 year old daughter every time we came in. They dont do phenomenal nails but they were ok and their customer service is what continuously brought me back in. That is...until recently. My fiancé bought me a $30 gift certificate for my birthday and it was issued in December 2016. I didnt go right away because I had just had a baby and getting out of the house is hectic. There was no expiration date on the gift certificate and the establishment still functions under the moniker Sky Nails. So I went in and got my nails done with a gel polish. Worst manicure ever. I asked for a design that I had seen online, something simple because I know everyone isnt a master at nail art. It was still not good, but I did receive a service so I intended to pay for it. Well I pull out my gift certificate and the woman (I presume to be the NEW owner) says that she cant accept it because its been a year. I told her that it hasnt because its June and it was issued in December. Then she says she can only accept it no later than 6 months after. I told her that the certificate didnt have an expiration datenor did it say anything about bringing it in within 6 months. So THEN she says well, we have new owners. But thats not my issue. If I have a coupon for Burger King and they switch owners that should still be honored. She changed the reasoning behind not honoring the certificate 3 times. And then she just completely ignored me after awhile. Not good business AT ALL. Finally she says she wont charge me for he design which was only like $13. Im not one for making a scene so I just accepted and left but for subpar work the very least they can do is treat their customers with courtesy. I will never go back even though it is a convenient location. They dont even do nails that well. The picture shows my nails after one week. Ive never had an issue with gel polish coming off ever.

I went there this morning at 10am to get my nails toes n eyebrows done there was no one else there getting anything done.now let me say i have been going to sky nails since Vince opened it 5 or 6 years ago the guy told me to sit down and started the water he started my toes he asked me if the shape was okay and everything and I told him yes after he was done and I looked at my toenails I told him I said theyre still dead skin can you do you think you can get that off and he said no this is how we do our toes so knowing that they have not done this in the past to me I paid and I left I called to speak to the owner and some lady answered the phone and said the owner is not there and wont be in until later I will be calling back to speak to the owner because I just paid $30 for a pedicure that my toes do not even look like they have been done I will never go back to them ever again and I wish you could give them negative staras because they dont even deserve one

I went there two years ago and got a toe nail fungus that I am still dealing with to this day. The sanitation procedures are not up to code. Customer beware!!! I will not be going there ever again.

Horrible service !!!! Never go in here !! They take 4 hours to do a mani and pedi ! They dont know how to do French you have to wait on ONE girl to do it ! They dont know how to do nothing but mani and pedi they leave you waiting to start another mani or pedi when they arent even done with you !!! Wish I could give a negative amount of stars. Literally the WORST nail salon i have EVER been to. I went with my sister. They RUINED her nails not to mention took forever. When she asked for a refund they refunded her $20 it cost $30 for them to get black nail polish all over her fingers. Not to mention there was bugs everywhere!! Absolutely DISGUSTING. Do NOT go here.
