I went in because one of my tires had a leak. I scheduled an appointment for the next day and I was in and out of Cobb Tire & Auto within 30 minutes. I appreciated the speed, the professionalism, and that they didn’t try to sell me on something I didn’t need. I will definitely go back!

Had a horrible experience to say the least lol Must book an appointment btw or thats what i was told atleast. Say its going to take an hour tops to see about my brakes waited 2 and a half hours Ofph alright then to tell me 1000 dollars for new front rotors and pads. Just The Front! Went to advance auto spent 180 did it myself jesus talk about price gouging. If you dont know 1 band for just the front brakes is a big middle finger ! Front desk was pleasant though. 2005 nissan also nor was i asking for anything lucrative

They didnt push anything else on me sales wise, and I was out in under an hour.Nice team, not super chatty, so if you prefer to just get work done I definitely recommend this place.Overheard the team talking about other customers and they genuinely seem to care about their loyal customers.

I took my car to Ka‘s yesterday for the first time. They were amazing. I got my oil change they do a diagnostic on it for free when you do that I was having problems with my heat it was nothing but a cog and that’s what they would have fixed it. They told me everything that was going on with my car they test drive it to see if they could feel anything that wasn’t right my rotors need to be in resurfaced. They gave me a car to use while they were working on mine which was a huge blessing. They contacted me and quoted me on the things that they were checking before they done it. And for the amount of work I got done it was a good price and they told me that my car is a good solid car and all I need to do a couple maintenance things They don’t tell you somethings wrong just so they can make money they tell you to truth. My car is driving just like it did when I first bought her. Cobbs such a blessing to our family. I recommend them for any of your needs. It’s a family business has been there for 40 plus years. It’s nice having a mechanic you can trust.

They are very helpful. I got a tire repaired there a few weeks ago with a good guarantee. Then a week ago when the weather turned cold and my air pressure light came on, late Friday afternoon (shortly before closing) they filled.my tires and told me to come back Monday if the tires needed more attention. No more problem. I appreciated the cheerful friendly attitude both in the office and in the shop.

Overall great experience. I took a flat tire in for repair early in the morning. They completed the repair by the time they quoted me. When I came back to pick the tire up the representative remembered who I was and what I came in for which impressed me. The price was $35 for a simple patch which is the only reason I didnt give 5 stars. Most other mechanics in the area charge $10-$25, but I gave them my business due to their convenience to my work.

The service advisors are both friendly and knowledgeable. When loaner cars are available I am able to go on with my day without interruption. The mechanics have the skill and quality consciousness to do each job right the first time. Car repair is expensive. My choice is Cobb so I can get help from people I trust. It really is just that simple.

Ever since 2018 when I had Cobb Tire patch up a hole, Ive brought every car to them. Kym is great and always makes me feel special whether its on the phone or in person. Despite being slammed because everybody wants to fix their car during Covid, they still helped get me in at a reasonable time the day after i called...we got it done the next business day. For a very fair price, do yourself a favor and go to Cobb Tire for anything you need. I swear you wont be disappointed! They are honest and wont fix anything you havent approved of until you give the go ahead.

They were each knowledgeable and efficient about the service I required. At one point the frustration of driving back and forth dealing with my vehicle boiled up. Their courtesy and professional was very calming. I can not thank them enough for turning a negative experience into a pleasurable one. When a business goes out of its way to help a customer people should know about it. Over the years our family has brought 2 different Mustangs, a Mazda, a Buick, a BMW, and a Subaru for all different types of work. This time I had an issue with a wheel that was overdue to the point of getting dangerous, Rich confirmed that it couldnt be driven anymore without a fix, no matter the need.Didnt have an extra car to use for a few days to get to and from work, but Rich offered me the use of a loner car, and saved me a lot of running around and schedule changing. Dont know if that is normal, but never had a shop offer me the use of their car before. This is not the exception, as Rich went of of his way a few years ago to get a battery charged and going for me in the BMW when it had a power drain and I couldnt leave the car at the shop.Can confirm what reviewers have said as well about Rich and Kym. Richdoes always say to stop in if there are any issues or noises that come up and he means it, noted with the BMW. Kym is great and might me one of the most positive people ever to deal with customers, even ask how the loner car was doing when calling to give me updates on my car.If you dont know where to bring your car, bring it here. We were extremely pleased with the service and value at Cobb. We had a flat tire and other damage from a minor accident, and had our car towed there over the weekend. Wed never had a car at Cobb before, but I got a call first thing Monday morning - they had already found our discontinued tires at their supplier! By that afternoon we had an estimate for the work that needed to be done, all detailed in a report with pictures to show the damage that needed to be repaired, and a detailed estimate was ready in minutes. By the next afternoon our car was ready, and the cost was under the original estimate. The customer service throughout was excellent, and we got text updates throughout so we knew exactly what was happening with our car. I wish I hadnt had the damage to our car... but the silver lining was finding such a professional, reasonable, and excellent mechanic.

Had tires and my rear axle rebuilt , even tho they were behind due to the covid 19 they always let me know about my Tahoe like what was being done to it and problems they found . This place is not your average shade tree mechanic store . This place is up scale professional . Kim handled all my work performed on my SUV she was very kind and easy to work with. FINAL UPDATE: Rich worked our vehicle into his schedule today to make sure that he had a chance to diagnose and correct the problem. He called when he figured out what was needed, and took care of the repair and replacement quickly, with explanation, and at no additional cost. I really appreciate his attention to our needs and customer service.—My husband took my Toyota Highlander to Cobb Tire to have the brakes replaced. When he went to pick up the vehicle, he noticed a humming sound coming from the rear passenger tire well. He also noticed that there was an issue with the emergency brake. He immediately returned and asked the folks a Cobb Tire to repair it. They called him saying that it had been repaired, and we left for a 600 mile trip out of town. Within 30 minutes of leaving, we noticed the same humming in addition to a clicking sound. The humming sound has gotten so bad that when we turn on the vehicle as soon as we release the brakes it sounds like someone is playing a children’s recorder. The sound continues while the vehicle is in motion, until we break again.After spending hundreds of dollars, and asking Cobb to repair the issue twice, we now have to go to a different mechanic and spend twice as much to have an issue that wasn’t a problem initially corrected.

Outstanding experience as a first time customer. This family owned business has the founder, his wife, son, daughter, and others actively working. You can tell they treat employees and customers like family/friends. When you sit in the waiting room and just watch and listen, you learn a lot about any business, the employees, and how they interact with customers both in store and on the phone. Although I was only there for tire services, I learned they offer all auto repair service well beyond tires. They have a great warranty on all repairs. I would definitely give them a try or even just stop in and talk to them. My guess is you will feel better about how your treated than many larger and corporate owned operations.

If you are looking for a quality local business to take care of you then look no further. The staff at Cobb Tire and Auto were incredible. I am completely shocked.... There was a little mix up with my car (it happens to the best of us) and I wont get into it but their reaction to the situation is a whole new level of customer service. I have been using Cobb Tire for over 30 years and now that they will give you a loaner car at no charge, I know I will never go anywhere else. This is such a wonderful service for the public. Now it is no longer a hassle to take your car to the shop. You dont need anyone to drive you there or meet you to pick you up. I am so thrilled with this new service. Dont know why more places dont offer it.

We just moved to the area a year ago and I tried another shop but was very dissatisfied. Finally learned about Cobb and I won’t take my vehicle any other place. They are honest and do what needs to be done nothing extra if ya don’t need it. They don’t pressure you into things ya don’t need!! I’ve taken my vehicle there a couple times and the service and staff are very courteous and helpful. I suggest if you need anything done to your vehicle from tires to oil to any major things this is the place to go!!! They all are wonderful!!!!!

I finally took my vehicle up here after my brother Was suggesting them to me for years. I was always hesitant because I’ve never had good luck with any mechanics working on my car and the drive to Cobb tire is quite a good drive from my house. My brother told me that they offered loaner cars for you to drive while yours is being worked on and I’m a very busy person so this was the main reason I decided to take my vehicle there. I told them the problems my vehicle was having and they did an inspection which they email you the results of and they literally look at EVERYTHING. They text you updates while they have your vehicle and even send you pictures of your vehicle and the problems they have found. The communication they have with you while they have your vehicle is outstanding. I picked my vehicle up this morning and Ms. Kym made sure to go over every single thing with me and made sure I understood everything that was done to my vehicle. I had zero problems with them and I definitely found the place I will be taking my vehicles from now on. The long drive from my house is definitely worth it. I would recommend this place to anyone they’re amazing.

I just moved to town and had to have my car serviced for a camshaft replacement. Joy was my contact who set everything up. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, explained the process thoroughly and kept me up-to-date. I love the inspection sheet that tells you what what your good parts are, what needs future attention and what needs immediate attention. This is a a very helpful breakdown. Great place to go if youre a young adult. They are trustworthy people who care both about your car and your wallet. Their customer service is great too. I usually ask questions about what went wrong and they are always enthusiastic to let me learn what went wrong. Even though I live in Clemson and attended university there, I will always get my car up to Cobb tire.

From the minute I pulled in to their parking lot yesterday with a nail in my tire, I was treated so well. A gentleman ran up and got the door for me and my children. I didnt even think to ask them to check my spare tire, but the tech dug it out anyways. Sure enough it was flat and he fixed it. The staff in the lobby were so kind as I followed around my two very active toddlers. I definitely recommend this place!

I have been going to Cobb tire for the past 5 years since moving from Michigan. It was hard to find an honest company to work on my vehicles. I highly recommend Cobb for any service needed for your vehicles. 1 of many great experiences I have had with Cobb was just recently. I was in Michigan visiting family for Christmas. My vehicles check engine light came on and I went to a company in Michigan to get it diagnosed. They found a bad coil pack on cylinder 4. I called and spoke with Rich at Cobb because I remember having them change the coil packs out last year. Rich looked up the invoice and told me I have warranty on my parts and gave me the number to contact the warranty company. I called the company and created a claim. The warranty company then spoke with the mechanic in Michigan and he submitted a quote for the work to be done. They covered the work 100% without any money out of pocket. This was all taken care of within 2 hours. This is unheard of! Especially being out of state and Rich and Kymberlei at Cobb helping my family not being stranded. I would recommend Cobb tires service to anyone that is in need of help with their vehicles. It is very hard to find a reliable trustworthy and honest company nowadays. Cobb Is now my go to mechanic in Sc.

My 2008 Mini Cooper started to have serious performance issues and I dropped it off on Tuesday morning. The team tenaciously worked on my car until they found a defective computer wire harness and solved the problem. I applaud Cobb employee diligence and determination to resolve this problem. This was by far the best experience Ive ever had with ANY automotive repair shop in my life. I showed up an hour before they closed, and the people stayed passed closing time to ensure that my car was in working order. I dont know what I would have done without them, seriously. THIS IS A HONEST TRUST WORTHY ESTABLISHMENT. ...Kym was truly a blessing from God to me! I was having engine problems with my car that was gonna say me back alot of money. I Explain to her how my factory warranty had expired but she insisted I call the dealership because she was certain it should be covered. After consulting the dealership she was absolutely correct it was covered saving me at least 3,000 or more. She explained how she wouldnt feel right servicing me, knowing this should be covered under warranty. Top notch work and customer service! I brought my mint condition 1989 Ford Mustang to them for a rear end and they went above and beyond for me. There were a few speed bumps with the manufacturer (nothing to do with COBB) but Rich and Kym were great about keeping me in the loop and getting answers. Squeezed in for TPMS service that should take an hour or so, but my auto electronics were not cooperating. Three people working on it, all knowing that I was getting antsy, but they stuck with it. Ultimately taking longer than expected, and the likely fault being my old car, they got me going and honored their quotation. Good place to be your first call for auto service.

We pulled into Cobb Tire with an unexpected flat tire at 11 am. We were en route to a holiday event at our childrens elementary school & wearing dress clothes. We asked if they could help us in any way (put air in tire, change tire, put our spare tire on...anything). Did not care what it cost. We simply needed assistance. They said it would be 3 oclock before they could look at it. That they couldnt pull any of the techs off anything that they were working on to assist us. I told them that our children get out of school at 3 oclock and we needed to be able to pick them up from school (worst case scenario, if we could not make the event at our childrens school). The lady and gentleman working at Cobb Tire sat at their desks, looked at me apathetically and did nothing. They didnt even walk outside to look at our tire. They werent interested in helping in any way. There wasnt a single customer sitting in the waiting area. Both sat at their computers, in the empty waiting area. while my husband changed our tire in their parking lot in his dress clothes. It would have taken 5 minutes of one of their techs time to help us in some small way (and we saw quite a few techs in their service area). If we could have driven to another tire place we would have. But we couldnt because our tire was completely flat. It was an extremely frustrating experience. Easily the worst service weve received anywhere since I can remember. I hope this review will encourage them to review their level of service and improve upon it significantly.EDIT: In reponse to the owners response below. I remember exactly what they did and did not say. At no point did they offer to get to us in 30 minutes (and we would have loved for them to offer to do that). I stand by my review.
