Let’s just say I’d strongly recommend looking at other places for computer and phone repairs for cheaper and better quality work

Need service for a 65 Sony TV. First call spoke with some one, gave information about problem and was put on silent hold for 5 minutes then they hung up. 2nd call was told Id be connected to Geek Squad and was put back to entry menu. Never got to the point where I could actually get TV service and gave up and started looking for TV repair shops.

We purchased a washing machine from Best Buy. It stopped working so we called to have them repair it. When they sent someone out, the repairmen said they needed other parts, understandably. The repairmen said when the parts arrive call us and we will come out and install them. We called, no answer for a couple days straight. When we finally communicated with them they said they were really backed up and couldnt send someone out right away. Then they outsource the Repair Order to A&E Factory Services. The guy came out and said the three parts we have been sitting with for 3 weeks were missing a piece. He tried blaming the parts manufacturer then blamed Best Buy/Geek Squad. Then he even blamed the guy that came before him. My mother originally called to set this up but she just kept getting the run around. I honestly think its because her english is a bit broken and they thought they could just give her the run around until the warranty expires in September. We have been without a washer for over 2 months now. Horrible service all around from Geek Squad to A&E and their repairmen. We still do not have a washer and its July 10th. Best Buy is my go to for Electronics and I have purchased many from them. Walmart has similar products sometimes even cheaper but theyre warranty companies work fast, Ive dealt with them personally. I dont understand why they would outsource to a company with horrible customer service, look them up on BBB!! I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER WARRANTY FROM GEEK SQUAD AND I HIGHLY ADVISE YOU NOT TO AS WELL. ALSO BEST BUY IS MAKING A HORRIBLE BUSINESS MOVE USING GEEK SQUAD, I WILL ONLY BUY FROM BEST BUY WHEN I REALLY NEED TO.

Phone appointment stated 3;45 today. Yet their computer shows 11/10/20. Standard computer mixup.

Spent 45 minutes on hold with geek squad just to be hung up on. I am on hold a second time, we’ll see if they answer.

Let me start by saying this particular issue does not stem from this Best buy location entirely, however this is where I purchased my phone. Recently my S7s camera lens shattered unexpectedly . I pay monthy for a protection plan from these scam artists. I tried to use my warranty to get this issue fixed, they said to call a number and get things approved online. I did, however the catch is they wanted to charge $150 for a service fee. I could not believe they would charge that much money even though I pay for a protection plan. I looked around and had it fixed by UBREAKIFIX and they did a fantastic job, and guess what? It was $30! I will NEVER EVER shop at best buy/use geek squad again. I am planning on returning anything and everything I have recently purchased from them and buying those things somewhere else.
