Dan is my boat guy for the foreseeable future. Very knowledgeable and responsive. Highly recommend him for marine service. Great dude with rates not worth haggling over. Couple that with standing by his work and making sure it is done the right way versus the easy way. He should be your boat guy too!

Cutlerville Small Engine repair was an answer to our prayers. Our boat motor broke 1 week before we were going on vacation to a cottage on a lake. They graciously fit us into their busy schedule and took the time to analyze the problem with us. We now have a rebuilt motor with a 1 year warranty. And the motor runs great.

Thrilled with the service we received for our pontoon! It was incredibly fast, reasonably priced, and there was communication during the repair process so we knew what to expect. Im learning as I go with my 69 Penn-Yan and the hydraulic issue was beyond my capabilities. Bill got it back together in less than an hour even though he wasnt the one that took it apart. As with any visit to a mechanical shop I expected the womens treatment but that wasnt the case at all, they talked to me like any person. Id add an extra star for that if I could!

Sunk a Jet Boat, Motors submerged, Dropped the boat off, after replacing filters, diaphram, fule, cleaning 6 carbs and get the motors back to better than new, had it back on the water the next day. Outstanding Service, Speed and at a fair price.

We had them fix our boat about 2 years ago and had great service. As with most boats we had another issue this year. We explained what we thought it was but he said he would rather take a look before ordering parts we didnt need. He was out here the next day, fixed the problem within 15 minutes and didnt charge us a thing! Very professional as well!

Highly recommend these guys! They backed the boat trailer into the parking lot for me (I’m a newbie) and made friends with my dog in the passenger seat. Dan explained everything to me in a simple way that I could understand and they fixed the boat motor quickly for a fair price. Now I can spend the summer out on the lake catching fish! 😊

Dan is amazing, I dropped both of my seadoos off for repair on a Wednesday he called me the very next day that they were done. His prices were low and labor costs were low compared to how well his mechanics performed. Please make this your one and only repair shop.

DAN really stands behind his work. He remembers his customers and guarantees any work that is completed. Added bonus he was able to get our boat in ASAP when all other mechanics in the area were out 3+ weeks.

Fantastic service! Helped me find some hard to find parts for my 95 Four Winns. Had it up and running in days, while communicating often on the status of it the whole time. I found dan on Facebook and stored my boat with him last winter. It was flawless. He also quickly replaced the gimbel bearing and seal which solved my problem. Dan is available to text anytime with questions which is great for a boater. It is comforting knowing I have a quality honest mechanic to help me stay in the water this summer.

Dan repaired by boat after it had been flooded. He picked it up on less than 24 hours notice because I told him I was in a hurry. He communicated with me three times throughout the day to keep me abreast of what he was finding, what needed repaired, and what it would cost me. The work was done sooner than he told me it would be, for slightly less than the estimate! I’m recommending my friends see Dan for their small engine needs!

I had my pair of PWC repaired by Dan and his staff. Dan was extremely responsive and kept me informed of the progress and estimates on the work to be done. He came in under his estimate and was available for follow up conversations/troubleshooting after I had picked them up and water tested them myself. I will utilize Dan again in the future for my marine or small engine needs.

Ive had nothing but a great experience with Dan and his staff. I stopped in yesterday with a carb issue on my boat. He had me fixed up the next day and Im on the water tomorrow to get some fishing in. Dan will be my trusted mechanic for my boats in the future. Glad hes in our local GR area.

Took my snow blower there this winter and was repaired quickly (within 24 hrs) and at a reasonable price. Have had no issues at all!

I’ve been going here since 2015 for annual service on my lawnmower and snowblower, and have received good service and quick turnaround times.

This shop repeatedly failed to fix the engine on my boat. They miss deadlines, make excuses. Not at all trustworthy, very poor customer service. Dont even bother.

This guys (Lying Dan) is the biggest con artist ever. 100% of what he said he would do, he didnt do. Please dont consider bringing any marine or jet ski to this place. I wouldnt trust him to fix a pair of scissors
