Wandered in here as a last resort last March when my sons blazer needed the fuel lines replaced on his truck. My son was attending Ferris State and needed to head back up to school before a bad snow storm. They had him in and out of there before the snow started flying. Every contact we have had with this shop has been positive. They do quality work and are always very professional. Last night my brake line started leaking. I needed my vehicle for the next day, my daughters have The Homecoming Dance to attend. They got me in right away, stayed late to make sure I arrived safely with the vehicle and this morning my car is out and on the road again. The price was far less that expected. I can feel safe knowing Mike and Ralph did everything in their power to make sure my car was done right and is safe to take my kids where they need to be. This could have been a very dangerous situation. I cant say enough about this shop and its staff. This is my ONLY stop for vehicle work. Thanks to Mike and Ralph for saving the dance for the girls!! Cant thank you enough!!

Ive been going to Lentz for years. Ive had a majority of good experiences, with a few pretty nasty ones thrown in. But over all Lentz has been great. They always try to help my wife and I out, finding best prices, and even going the extra mile. If I say were heading out of town, they make sure our van wont randomly burst into flames while on a the I-90 Turnpike in Ohio.I think if there is anything I dont like is in the 10-ish years Ive been taking my vehicles to Lentz weve seen just as many managers. Its hard to have customer trust when the faces you expect change all the time. ITs not like going to pick up a soda at your local convenience store. If youre expected to trust someone to do work on a vehicle in which your life depends on to work properly you want to trust who youre dealing with.Luckily, they have had the same manager for a while, and he seems like a good guy.Ive taken 5 cars there now. And as long as Im in this area Ill take every car I own there.In fact .. I need an oil change. See you guys soon!

These guys are awesome, got me in after I called when nowhere else could for awhile, and then went above and beyond helping make sure I could afford my repair and that I could finally drive my car safely. Will definitely be coming back here.

I went to Lentz for an oil change and front tire alignment and was given a call about an hour later that they couldnt perform the alignment. I was told that my control arms were going bad, which was why my car was shaking when I drove it. I asked what the total would be to fix it and they quoted me $741. I denied the service and called around and got a better quote of $509. I still asked for an oil change, which somehow took them a little over an hour to complete. They ended up having my car for a total of 3 hours for just an oil change.Turns out that my control arms are completely fine! I went to get two new tires and asked the guy about it. I dont know much about cars, but I knew that if it wasnt shaking with my spare on, then it probably wasnt my control arms. The guy at the tire shop told me it was my tires, and as soon as I drove it home it didnt shake one bit. It drove like normal.This was hands down the worst service Ive ever received and was almost conned out of hundreds of dollars. Like I said, I dont know much about cars, but I have common sense and know to trust my gut.

Staff members are extremely helpful and seem eager to answer all questions thoroughly. They are experts at determining the problem and just as adept and repairing it. They will stay late in order to return your vehicle quickly and are good for their word. My daughter and I both appreciate their respectful and kind manner when dealing with our concerns.

I was told that they dont have anyone there thats good at bending pipe...this is an exhaust place right?So needless to say I wont be going there again ever.

Defective muffler was replaced in under 1.5 hours including time to obtain the part. Replacement part is attached securely and welding craftsmanship looks great. Staff dealt pleasantly with customers on a hot August day and the work was done at the lowest rate of the shops I checked. Very pleased.

Absolutely terrible customer service experience. I tried handling my issue at a store level and was told they couldnt help me. I emailed corporate a detailed explanation of the situation to try and resolve it and no one ever responded. I wanted to be a loyal customer because it is close, convenient, and the staff is nice but I will never be back and I will deter others. Seriously dissapointed in the service and follow through. Was hoping to find a shop to work with long term.

....had my car (15 yrs. old) in for service for 3 different issues this month.....engine runs bad, rotted muffler fell and a power steering leak (put this problem off for 2 years).....my car has never run better....thank you guys (ralph and crew) for your friendly service.....good prices.... and getting me in and out in a timely manner.....i couldnt be happier

After numerous calls to other garages who told me they couldnt look at my cars exhaust problem for a couple of days, I took it to Lentz on Leonard Street. They promptly inspected my car, showed me the problem, and took only two hours to repair it at a fair price. My car drives much better, sounds better, and its good to know where to find reasonably priced, knowledgeable, honest automotive repair service.

In late November of 2017 I had my car towed to lentz auto repair. Reason being my car wouldn’t stopped turned out to be a bad crank sensor. They tried for hours to pull it out. Eventually they dropped the oil pan to punch the sensor through and install the new one. One issue when they put the oil pan back on they sandwich my oil dipstick in between the oil pan and the block and I had to pay another shop to fix their mistake. Overall just dissatisfied with what happened very little attention to detail and how do you not notice a dipstick bending when you reinstall an oil pan ? Don’t go here just find another shop.

My fiance is a veteran and the VA gave Lentz $1300 to repair the intake and replace the radiator. Within 5 minutes of leaving, it started overheating. They told me to drive it back and said it was just an air bubble. Within 5 minutes of leaving the second time, it overheated again. After 4 hours they told me it was a loose radiator cap and they replaced it. I made it another 5 minutes down the road and my car was overheating and smoking. When my fiance opened the hood, coolant started spraying everywhere. We lost at least a gallon of fluid and Mike suggested I fill the radiator with water and it would make it back to the shop. I couldnt even make it two miles. I demanded they tow it back and Mike agreed after some back and forth. They let my car sit on the side of the road until I called the next day to question where it was. No one ever called me and two days later (today) I went there in person. My car was sitting in the lot and not being worked on. Mike smuggly told me that my head gasket had blown and wanted us to call the VA to pay to fix it. After consistently telling us to drive the vehicle while it was overheating and never once mentioning a head gasket during any of the visits or for the initial estimate. James told us someone was being fired over it and that we would be taken care of because it was not our fault. I am beyond upset, because its officially not even worth the cost of repairs. Thanks, guys. I really hope they make this right or we will have no choice but to take legal action.

Just called to see if someone could look at my car to see if I have a bad wheel bearing or CV axle on my 2012 dodge journey was told on the phone he did know so he put me on hold came back and told me someone could look at my vehicle but they would have to charge me $80 or so I told him I would pass their website said contact us today for your free estimate. They advertise free estimates but when you contact them they tell you that they have to charge you.I wish I could just find a place with honest workers and not scam artist or rip offs.To the workers some people do read your website so maybe you should think before trying to rip someone off and you will never have to worry about getting business from me or anyone I know.

Got my car in quickly and had it done same day.

We had an absolutely terrible experience here. We had to send our car back numerous times for issue CREATED by this repair shop. They tried accusing me of screaming and swearing at them, when in fact I never rose my voice or used any sort of profanity. After the 4th time of sending our vehicle back in, they decided it was a completely different issue and said they would cover the cost of the labor if we paid for the part. The part is $70 for Refurbished or $140 for OEM. They wanted to charge us $350 after already charging $1,300 for something they didnt even fix. Not to mention, the steering went out while I was driving the vehicle after they fixed it. If you can imagine, we are very upset and mind blown by the incompetency.In response to the owner, our vehicle was taken back several times. The vehicle is still not fixed. The pump issue should have been identified when the vehicle was originally taken in. It should have at least been identified by the 2nd or 3rd time. By the 4th time, we have a right to declare incompetency by the mechanics. Lentz offered their labor to fix install the steering pump. I would not trust someone to install my steering pump when they had to put 3 rack and pinions in just to decide it was in fact the steering pump. We paid $1,300 for our problem to be made worse. If you are concerned for your customer satisfaction, I suggest a refund for the labor that was put into breaking our vehicle.

A few days ago, the brackets holding up my muffler broke. One place said I needed to replace the whole thing from front to back. And they wanted to charge me $1,100. I took my car to Lentz on Leonard and they welded the muffler back in place for $53.I cant say enough about Mike and Ralph there. They didnt try to upsell me and they didnt treat me like my little job was an annoyance. They were genuinely happy that they could help out a guy trying to get by on Social Security.The smiling guys at Lentz on Leonard earned my trust, and because of that theyll get all of my future business. If youre smart, theyll get yours as well.

I called on a Tuesday morning to make an appointment for Wednesday afternoon to get an alignment. When I got there in Wednesday they said they had no appointment written down for me. To his credit they still got me in, but said they could not do the alignment because of a tie rod issue. I took the car back home to replace the tie rods and noticed the volume on my radio was no longer working. It had just been working before I brought it in. I also found my bumper sticker ripped off my car and 5 fresh scratches near the front end. This is not right! I will be seeking legal action of this is not resolved.

This place is a rip off. Gave me an estimate for two rear struts at 500 dollars. Then called and said they couldnt reuse the springs like I was quoted. More than 800 dollars to get my car back.
