Checked all systems and made two recommendations for repairs. I agreed. Service is great and very personal. They offered to fix something that would normally cost $200, without charging me because it wasnt fixed when I purchased the car 2 1/2 years earlier. Very nice benefit.

Very attentive and professional. I felt very welcomed from the first time I walked into the reception area, as I had never been here before. They came highly recommended by a friend of mine from the Michiana BMW club and I was a little apprehensive, as I was having some major maintenance and repairs done to my 92 BMW 325i and had never used their service before. I neednt have worried though, as Rob met with me and detailed my service requests and then showed me around the facility and introduced me to some of the staff, including Sam, the tech who would be working on my car. Rob even arranged for Scott, one of the other techs, to drive me home to Zeeland after I left my car with them. From there, they made a very concise detailed write up of my vehicle, including pictures and recommendations for service. After I approved selected repairs, Cody went to work for a couple of days researching parts availability and getting everything coordinated. Repairs were then completed in a few days and they even delivered my car to another local company that was replacing the convertible top for me. All in all, Im very satisfied with the service and attention my car and I received and so far so good. My first experience at GRMC has been positive and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a place they can trust to treat them and their vehicle properly. I will be back!

Just had my car serviced here-oil change- the process was very easy. They have a texting service that sent me a reminder about my appointment and kept me updated while they had my car, which was so helpful! The staff was friendly and they explained everything to me in an easy to understand way. The shop was very clean, professional looking, and they took good precautions to protect people during this corona virus pandemic. They have seating to wait in the shop, and they gave me a great deal for the July Oil Change special. I highly recommend and will be back!

Firstly, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! They are amazing!Im a complete newbie when it comes to cars and dont have much experience in the knowledge of knowing where to take my car to without getting ripped off. One of my good friends is a mechanic and he recommended me to GR Motors, hes had his car worked on there before and highly recommends the employees giving the best service to their customers.I knew from the get go that there was something wrong with my alignment, it kept veering to the right. They had my car in the shop immediately and gave me all the information I needed in order to get my car fixed. They were honest with their pricing (and even worked with my budget) and even offered to do a complete diagnostic on my car too (which was greatly appreciated!).What makes them very unique from any other services Ive received before is that they really care. Fixing my car took longer than an hour so one of the employees was kind enough to offer me a ride to a nearby cafe while I waited. It took me by surprise just how interpersonal they were and they constantly kept me in the loop regarding the process of my car via text.Once services were done, I still found out the car kept veering to the right but not as severe as before. I called them the next day and they went above and beyond to get it looked at again with no charge. The mechanics were dedicated to take their time to find out the problem and was very detailed with their findings, it was nice of them to even show me the undercarriage of my car and show me where the problem was. Unfortunately, I did not pursue to get it fixed again due to my limited fundings and they reassured me that not getting it fixed isnt going to cause any problems.Theyre honestly the best service Ive ever received! This car shop is the most honest I have been in Grand rapids, they have service my old BMW E 39 plenty of times, sometimes I would go there for noises and they would tell me , NO there is nothing wrong with your BMW...I know nothing about cars and I tell you im the perfect target to be lied to, and a few times i had my car checked and they were honest to tell me there is nothing wrong!...All the services they have been doing were very well serviced, now I have a 2017 BMW and i go there for my oil changes, drive all the way from Brighton as I had moved, they are cheaper than BMW dealer do not go to BMW as they are a rip off, go here to GRAND RAPIDS MOTOCAR....Rob the manager listens to all your problem and is very knowledgeable, and very gracious I recommend this shop thumbs up

This is THE one non - OEM place I would highly recommend for service. I brought my 2007 Honda Oddysey for non - working power windows. They did a thorough inspection and identified several items that needed attention. What I liked about it - line by line breakdown of recommended repairs with pricing for each, and recommended repairs were classified in order of importance (so you can choose what you want done). The staff is courteous, their technicians are thorough and you get an overall sense of honesty, unlike other repairs shops that keep adding unnecessary items just to make more money from you. My husband and I bought a Volvo in the summer of 2015. Except for small repairs, there has been two major issues so far.The first issue is related to heated seats. Before buying this car, we looked through their website and carefully read what options this car has. It said the car has the heated front seats and we of course trusted what they said as they proudly introduced them as a trustworthy partner for used car sales. It turned out, however, that heated seats had not been installed at all. We found this a week after the purchase and it was so disappointing because we paid extra hundreds of dollars for nothing!The second major issue is about time for exchanging the timing belt. Before planning to actually buy it, we asked them when the timing belt would need to be changed. They looked it up and told us that it should be changed when it runs 150,000 mileage. Unfortunately, it was not the case. My husband figured out that it needs to be changed when it’s 120,000 mileage. The car already hit around 106,000 mileage at that time. If we knew that, we wouldn’t have purchased it for the price because it would cost us more than 5-600 dollars to exchange the timing belt. There are two possible assumptions. If they didn’t know about the fact, it means they sell a car they do not know much about. If they did know that it should be changed before 120,000 mileage, they tried to hide it by telling a lie to a customer. I am not sure which one is the case but either way is not trustworthy and responsible.Finally, there has been some “minor issues” such as broken oil pan right after the 3-month warranty and the door lock which costed us more than 800 bucks.It’s not only about money and time consumption. It’s about being an honest and trustworthy partner to customers. Who can trust them as a used car dealer after going through these experiences? It was such an unsatisfactory purchase for us.

This shop is phenomenal! My wife and I have both had our cars serviced there for the last couple of years; the work done is honest, fair, and reasonably priced and the customer service is exceptional. When my interior fan was making a strange noise, I brought it in toward the end of the day prior to my appointment the next morning with hopes of figuring out how long the labor would take the next day. Andrew was tremendously helpful, Royce took a look through things and they didnt even charge for the time. This is the type of shop that is committed to providing the best possible customer service and it shows with every interaction.

I would have given a very low rating with a very long story, however bottom line I had an issue and spoke with Kathy in the office. She was very professional and courteous. She listened while I went on and on and SHE apologized repeatedly. SHE is the only reason I am giving a 5 star, I could tell that SHE really cares about the business and will do everything SHE can to make it right. She did refund me part of my money and said the owner would be calling. Never heard from him. I am still negative $178 including my expenses for traveling to return a very expensive piece of equipment they forgot in my vehicle. Lesson learned. Thank you Kathy for the partial refund. Something is better than nothing.

What a fantastic experience! We bought not one, but two cars! This is not your typical car dealership. I sat down with Brent and we discussed my needs and budget and he came up with some options. He spoke candidly and recommended cars that were not in his current inventory. Rather than just sell me what was parked on the lot, Brent went out and found exactly what we were looking for! My wife has the car of her dreams, and I am driving a car I never could have dreamed of. To put icing on the cake, I noticed a small potential issue. Brent insisted that I bring the car in for inspection and was animated that he will take care of it. That is great service! Thank You Brent & Tom, we could not be happier!

First time customer and was treated like a child kept my car for two weeks charged me 350 to say if Im serious about fixing my car is such an insult because you are a first time customer and we dont know how your going to act is what ROB said and then do nothing with it and leave it sitting outside and not get back with me talked it up saying they could repair it I explained what was going on and if was something you cant do then I would have taken the car somewhere else did even look at what I mention and the people working on the floor cant tell a car has a new suspension system that is not even a year old and tell me I need new shock and springs and then say my brakes are good when they are actually bad and i have a hard time seeing how can test the brakes when the car is stuck in gear. I will take it to a shop that takes me seriously if you dont want to work on it just say it I had to tow the vechicle to your shop and I even said it was my daily and was not taken seriously and didnt get back with me till I called to check up on the car and now i have to take time off work to pick up my car from a European shop and bring it to a man out in Holland who can do the job and already quoted me and actually knows what my car is will never return again and I had a freind refer me to this shop very disappointed never been treated like that ever.Update they told me over the phone they can do a transmission swap lied and kept my car doing nothing and didnt give me any updates and sent a person who doesnt work here bother me on social media

My wife and I recently had an unscheduled trip to Holland MI for a funeral. We have a 2012 Audi A6. About 2.5 hours into an 11hr drive a rock went through our radiator. We heard rocks hitting the car, but didnt realize at the time that a rock had actually went through our radiator. So, 3.5 hours into the drive a warning like goes off. We pull over at the nearest auto parts store to find the appropriate antifreeze and contemplate returning home. We decide that we can add antifreeze/water as needed and continue our journey stopping every 100 miles to top off. One time while stopping, we began to have hood trouble, now the drivers side latch wont close all the way. My wife Googled Audi dealerships in Grand Rapids and luckily this company popped up. She called and they were very understanding and efficient, not getting upset because of the poor cell service we were currently experiencing. We informed them of all the troubles with the car, but my main concern was the hood, I didnt want to drive it all the way home with it not fully latched... I can add water, I cant hold the hood down and drive! We were going to arrive in GR around 2pm, they said come straight to the shop and we did. This is one of the cleanest shops Ive ever seen, they clearly take pride in their work. I dropped the car off and reiterated that we had to have it back by COB Friday as we were leaving on Sunday and they were not open on Saturday. They assured me they would call me after they assessed and sourced parts. Next morning I get a call, the leak was coming from the radiator and they had already fixed the hood. They had also already sourced a replacement radiator and felt confident they could replace it by COB. They had emailed my wife a quote, but said that it was around $875. I said as long as you can get it done today....Get a call around noon, car is fixed and didnt take as long as they thought so my actual bill was $200 less than the quote! Picked the car up around 3pm and had ZERO problems on the 11hr trip home! My wife and I cant thank them enough for their professionalism and understanding. We recommend them with confidence!

Two three months later and the problem is back and not fixed. It is costing me 1000 dollars on top of what there charge of 470 dollars . I do not recommend then they are not honest only want your money

The team was challenged with my 2007 BMW 335i to perform an oil pan gasket change, which requires the engine to be lifted off the frame. Further, my car has been with me since new, has 142K miles, and has been meticulously maintained. During the engine replacement process, damage occurred to the front quarter panel as the engine made contact with the vehicle surface. GR Motorcars took responsibility for the problems, fixed the damage perfectly, fixed a couple other dents, and performed some complimentary service work as well. Problems happen all the time in life. It is what you do to fix things that matter. The service manager Rob and his team did the right thing every step of the way. This was my first experience with GR Motorcars. I highly recommend them and that is great praise from a very fussy car guy.
