I came here to have a tire patched because I had a nail in it. At first, they told me the tire could be patched and the guy pulled the nail out. After pulling the nail out, I was informed the tire cannot be patched and I can buy a used tire for $40. After checking, the young man comes back and informs me they dont have a tire for my car. I asked him what am I supposed to do now, you pulled the nail out. He tells me they can put my spare on or I can go down the street where they may have a tire for my car. I didnt have time for them to put the spare on since the other place was right down the street. So, I went down the street to 1330 Granville Avenue and the man immediately tells me, yes this tire can be patched and he did so for $15. I will never come back to Rio Auto and tires again. I think they were trying to take advantage of me because Im a woman.

We called this garage 1/2 hr before close on a Friday night when we got a flat heading through town. They got us right in, finished our service in under a half hour, and were extremely pleasant and professional throughout. Cant imagine a more competitive price anywhere. SENT ME AWAY WITH NO LUG NUTS ON FRONT DRIVERS TIRE.Found some winter tires on Craigs list. Turned out to be Rio City and they said for a little extra they would swap my tires for me. I was like okay awesome. Not awesome. Pulled out and made it not even a block. Called them up and Daniel the manager came and casually put them on with a unsincere Sorry about that. I then called the next day to ask for a new rim because mine was completely eaten up. He tried saying that it was something that I did. So I had my dad call. He had to call several times for them to order the rim. When it was finally in almost a month later I went to pick it up and he told me to pull my car in and he would swap it. I said no thank you and he said well I need the rim or its a $25 core charge. He tried fighting me about paying for 5 minutes. Saying how he had already paid for the new tire. He only let me have for free because I yelled you could have killed me! Youre the reason you had to replace my rim because you made a stupid mistake and left my lug nuts off! He looked at his customers, threw his hands in the air and told me to just take it.Absolutely livid. He was not sorry.

Used these guys for a while. Last night these guys bailed me out big time. I called them at 7:55pm....5mins to close. Wasn’t a huge things but they helped me out. I got the part ordered and they gave my up front price for labor and said when I get the part just give them a call. Just above and beyond service. Highly highly recommend these guys.

Just had my winter wheels changed to my summer wheels. First experience at this shop. Omar was really helpful and the service was fast (same day appointment is hard to find!) and a great price. My car drove home straight with no shaking in the steering wheel so I feel they balanced them well. I will go here again.

I will NEVER go to Rio City again! I was car shopping 10 months ago and found a used dodge there. Everything seemed great for a used car and the price was right. Boy was I WRONG! In the 10 months since I have owned the car I have spent $3000 just to keep it drive able! I replaced the engine at 120,000 miles, replaced ALL brakes, shoes and rotors, replaced the alternator, and then the transmission went! When I called them the last time and told them I was not going to place the transmission, they offered to buy it back and have it towed from the transmission shop to their shop. A week later I get a call from the transmission shop saying that Rio never got my car! They just left it there and I had to get it towed. Then, I call about the sale and the owner says he wont buy the car back from me, even though we had verbally agreed on the sale and price! They claim that they take care of their customers but that is a huge lie! They sell lemons! Dont ever buy from them! And their repair service only ever half fixed my problems. Very very bad business.

The guys at Rio did a great job repairing my snow tire. They took the time to take it off the rim to inspect in while other shops didnt do an inspection, they simply told me I had to buy a new set. Rio city saved me money on buying a new set!

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!! I did and I regret it! I thought Omar seemed trustworthy and I was wrong! He did not tell me the whole truth about the car I purchased from him, and that is the same as lying to me. I have had nothing but problems with the car I bought from him. Even with the rims and tires, and this is a brake and tire shop too. DO NOT TRUST HIS CARS!!!!

I went here to have my two front tires replaced. They were the only place in town that had my size tire in stock. Little did I know that they were used, dry rotted and cracked. When I got the tires back I noticed that they had put new valve stems in. My car has tire pressure sensors in all the wheels and they swore that it did not. Now my tpms light will not go off and a tire blew a week after they installed them. Dont trust this shop. They will steal youre expensive tpms sensors and sell you subpar tires.
