Paul is wonderful. Id had a broken ice maker that best service appliance repair had come out to fix - by replacing a part that I now suspect didnt need replacing - and didnt fix the issue. Paul diagnosed the issue, explained what he was doing, and fixed both the ice maker and a leak in my freezer at half the price of the other guys. Really nice guy. Would use him again.

Tubby Appliance is by far the most trust worthy appliance repair out there. There are not many companies that will talk you through the problem over the phone with a washing machine, order the part and talk you through your own repair without some sort of charge. It was at my request to install the part myself and they were still willing to order the part and follow up on the repair by phone to make sure the repair was successful. They were fast with response and professional, I would definitely recommend this company to all my friends and family.

Paul did a nice job setting up our washer and dryer last year, but since then on two other calls into him for service has been non responsive. 60 hours now since I left him a message about our fridge which is now completely dead and now we have to call someone else. Paul did this to us a couple months ago as well. Nice guy but unprofessional.

Very responsive and knowledgeable. I had an issue with my washer door not opening. He came over after his last job just to get it open for me. He gave me real advice and real number so i could make the best decision. I ended up purchasing a newer washer but would have used his service if i need. And i will continue to use him if needed.

Update: I called Paul back last week to fix my dishwasher, which started to spray out the bottom. First, he tried to help me fix it myself, but I couldn’t get the cap off that he suggested, and YouTube videos didn’t help. He came back out, fixed it quickly, and because it was less than 30Days since my last call, he didn’t charge me a service call! Highly recommend him for your appliance repair needs!I was cleaning the filter on my dryer when something flew off the shelf next to my dryer and fell down the filter shute. It went straight to the bottom. So embarrassing! My boyfriend injured his back, so couldnt help. I found Paul with solid reviews on NextDoor, and called. Hed just had a cancelation, so came right over. He was nice, found the offending escapee blocking the works, and removed it. He then cleaned out the filter area. It was packed. Even though I clean the filter itself regularly and have a long brush to reach down, its too deep to get to it all. We presume that the person we purchased the dryer from 3 years ago may not have cleaned it. It could have been a fire hazard. SO glad we called Paul. He also checked out my vent and cleared that, all for his service charge. Also, though he doesnt service Samsung ovens, he offered an excellent suggestion. That oven has never heated up to temperature. In fact, it was 100 degrees off! Paul suggested that if we have the manual still (I do), that we check that or YouTube to adjust the settings. We did. Had no idea that it was something we could fix ourselves. I had to do the process several times today, but now my oven for the first time in the 4 years Ive had it, appears to be heating up to the correct temperature! Thanks, Paul, we will definitely call you again!!!!!

Paul is always fair and honest. He couldn’t fix my Samsung fridge with a broken compressor (not many companies will), but he didn’t even charge me for the service call and diagnosis! He previously fixed my pop-up vent for a good price.

Called Tubby Appliance based on the Yelp reviews. The 5-star reviews are TRUE! First, he gave us advice on cleaning the gas stove igniter ourselves so we didnt have to have him service it. Then, he gave us an estimate for fixing the electric dryer. After pricing out the cost of new dryers, we decided it made more sense to have Tubby Appliance fix it. Even after paying for parts and labor, we saved a lot of money in repairing the existing versus buying a new appliance. Paul even checked the washer and the fridge. He was extremely honest, hard working, neat & tidy, and fun to talk with. Very happy with his service, pricing and attention to detail. Well call Tubby Appliance the next time one of the major appliances goes kaput. Until then, giving Tubby Appliance 2 thumbs up!

Cleaned dryer and checked washer. Told me during first call that he could do dryer vent to outside unless it was on roof. He checked location of vent to outside when he arrived and did not indicate any issues. At very end of work, told me he was not equipped to clean dryer vent to outside because it had a bend in it. Vent looks like it goes straight outside (20 feet from dryer at most). He gave me name of someone who does vents to outside only. Called and they charge $120. Tubby charged $165 to clean dryer and check washer which was too high if the vent to outside was not done.

I was beyond impressed with Paul at Tubby Appliances. I called him in the morning when my fridge stopped working and he came over the same day! He was very professional and deeply kind. Would definitely use him again!

Our refrigerator was no longer getting cold enough to keep food frozen. Paul was available to look at it that day. He found the problem and offered the option of fixing it himself or explaining what needed to be done. He enabled me to fix the refrigerator myself at a substantial savings. Paul did a great job on my washing machine. He replaced the pump, which was going bad, and got it up and running in less than a day. I was really happy with the job Paul did, he even cleaned up the gross screens and gaskets. I highly recommend him.As one of Pauls first reviews, I gave him four stars because it made him look legitimate. Honestly it was 5 star (+) work, but in this day and age of easily fabricated reviews, I was not going to look like a bot.

Our experience with Tubby Appliance was great. Paul was very professional and pleasant. He diagnosed our ice maker problem and called around to find the replacement. We hired Paul to fix a dishwasher that was not draining. He was extremely professional, prompt, and went above and beyond expectations. Very detail oriented. He wasnt satisfied with it just draining normally, he went through every part that could be cluttered and cleaned it until it was draining perfectly. Then he walked me through prevention, and how to fix it myself next time...although Im sure we will just call him again. Very nice guy too.

Paul Tubby shows up when he says he will, is highly competent with all the home appliances hes repaired for me (clothes washer, dishwasher, and refrigerator) and he cleans up after him self. Paul is the real deal. I called to see if he would come up to Coal Creek Canyon to repair my refrigerator, he said he would but wouldnt be able to make it till the next day. He then asked me what was going on with my refrigerator and asked if I was handy and had some tools. He told me not only what part to buy, about $25 but where to find the part, what to watch out for and how to take it apart. I picked up the part and Paul saved me a ton of money. What a great guy, I cant thank him enough. Now my refrigerator is purring like its supposed to. He told me this knowing full well he wouldnt make any money but he sure made a customer for life.

Worst repair service ever and dirtiest employee leaving stuff scattered from one end of property to the other end!!!!!!! Destroyed appliances and broke more then was already broke wanted to charge more for there mistake and the walled off the job and didnt finish or clean up or put anything back together or in a organized fashion!!!!!!!! This company SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
