If your looking for a real beard trim, or a strait shave look someplace else. 2nd or 3rd try everyone is nice. just not a barbershop for mens beards . all they know how to do is use a trimmer. and they dont listen

Love this place! We went in and got some pampering from Romy and it honestly was the best experience we’ve ever had at a hair salon / barber shop. Treat yourself and get the Kings Treatment; it comes with a cut, wash, shave, shoulder massage or face mask treatment OR if you’re bald like me, it comes with a scalp treatment. Highly recommend.

After 14 years of going to the same hair cutting place. I decided to give Lady Janes a try.My new stylist is Gloria gave me an amazing hair cut. The power went out during my visit and she didnt skip a beat we went outside and kept on cutting! This was amazing customer service. I will definitely be back!

My first trip here was a great experience. My hair dresser gave me the Kings treatment because it was my first time. She was so nice, made great small talk, and made me feel comfortable. (I was a little bit nervous tbh cause the women in there are quite attractive). Best of all she gave me a great haircut. Exactly what I wanted.( Modern style Mullet) They take their time and care about the quality of your cut.

They do a great job. But on this day I went they had music playing with swear words. Which doesnt bother me. But my 11 year said after his cut.. Mom did you hear those songs with the bad words.

I have for the most part gotten a good haircut the 3 times I have come. The things Ive noticed is that the barber didnt sharpen her straight razor and you can feel the drag. Every time I have gone the barber has spent a very good amount of time making everything perfect. The only issues I see that the 3 barbers I have see have all had dull razors making their job harder although it doesnt affect my haircut. The staff are extremely nice and did a great job each time. I do find like any new barber shop that you have to find a barber that fits you. I go twice a month to a barber and about to go by fourth time here. I found they are consistent and try their best. The only reason I have a 4 start was due to dull straight razor and the lack of clear pricing. I have gotten the same service 3 times and have gotten charged differently each time. I think they are confused how to charge for a beard trim, hair cut, and shampoo. Still the most expensive combo ran me $30 which is still quite cheap and under market value especially with straight razor under chin neck shave which most barbers wont even do for less than $20. If you are looking for a barber thats cheap with a theme similar to sports clips this is a great fit. If you want a perfect hair cut for $30 your at the wrong place. The best cut I got with beard trim cost $100 and was in another class completely. For the price and service this is great for young men and guys who have a simple cut and look.

Such a great experience and value for what you spend. Straight razor neck shave is amazing and be sure and splurge for the neck massage. You can certainly just walk in, but always better to find an artist you like and call ahead. Lexi is my artist. I would certainly recommend her.

Ive had all kinds of haircuts in my life and as a guy who has to get his haircut every 3 weeks I have to find that sweet spot of quality and price. Lady Janes is great. I never bother making an appointment and have never had to wait for more than 10 minutes. Ive had no less than 4 different stylists cut my hair and all have done a great job. Your not rushed out of the chair so they can squeeze in another cut nor does the cut take longer than it should.

Ive been to a number of the hair cutters in the area. So far everyone whos cut my hair did a great job. Love the straight edge neck shave they do with all the cuts. The ladys are nice and the music is great. Recommend Lady Janes to all my friends.

They cant even do a proper fade. I only went here because my normal shop was closed. Never again. Oh, and if you want them to razor the sides like most good barber shops do as part of the cut, it is an additional 20 bucks. They dont tell you that until you get to the register.

By far the best Lady Janes in the East valley. Angie gives an amazing cut and gives great service. I have a location a mile away from me but drive out of my way to go to this location because Ive never been disappointed in any of my visits. Ive been to several barbers and Lady Janes and this one is now my go to location.

I usually do not take the time to post reviews especially if they are negative. I respect people in the customer service industry and know they do their best. But...I have taken my son on a few occasions and each time had been awful. The first his sideburns were very crooked but I figured just a fluke. The second time they did not cut his hair at all like I had requested. But here again I decided to return. Just today my husband had to take him back to have his hair fixed. Around the ears significantly higher on one side than the other and his hard part only went halfway down his head. Definitely will not go back. They are polite but not efficient hairstylists.

I usually have something good to say, even in a poor review, but honestly this was the most miserable hair cutting experience of my adult life so far. It’s my fault for not standing up and walking out when the consultation started off in disaster. I showed my stylist a year old picture of me wearing the exact haircut I wanted, or something close to it. Barely looking at it, they assured me that they 1. knew what I wanted and that they 2. could give me that cut. I wasn’t paying attention when they started cutting because they kept asking me questions. Halfway through the cut when I realized way too much hair had been cut off to achieve the cut I wanted, I expressed my stress, and my stylist apologized. I said it was okay, just to make the best of it. I started paying attention after that, and I could tell they either had no idea what they were doing or that they just didn’t care. There was no rhyme or reason to what they did, going over and over the same area, pulling upwards and then dragging my bangs down over my forehead and cutting in a line. Then, even as I sat clearly still uncomfortable and upset, my stylist got nervous that I was falling left and started to talk more. Then, my stylist started to FLIRT at me and joke about Jehovah’s Witnesses. Thought about giving this place two stars because at least it was cheap, but it’s been a few days and I still can’t believe how bad this cut is. I never knew before that you could scar hair, but you can literally see lines in my hair from the scissor marks.

NEVER COMING BACK! .. i think. Yes its cheaper by 3 or so dollars but its not worth the dissatisfaction and discomfort. AND i still have spent more money in the past week on trying to fix my haircut than i would in a month going every few weeks across the street! SORRY IM MAD. I went a week ago and my haircut was bad so i come back to get it fixed and im coerced into getting a whole new haircut just a week after. AND STILL i got home and was aggravated at the sight of my UNEVEN neckline sideburns LONG HAIRS sticking out uneven fade

I should have turned around when I saw the plastic clipper guards. The haircut was awful and the customer service was lacking. The barber who did my hair had to be shown the places she missed and I didn’t notice the big wedge she cut into my fade until I got home. The ONLY reason I am giving two stars, is for the mediocre job the other barber did on my sons hair. I have better haircuts at Great Clips! If you want a good barber experience and a quality haircut. DONT COME HERE!

If you are checking out this location, I recommend you asking for Sandra. She has cut my hair twice and done an amazing job. I appreciate that Sandra likes to take her time and she is also easy to have a conversation with. She is at this location and the Chandler location a couple days a piece each week.

Went in after hearing commercials on the radio with my 5 y/o. Hands down the most inexpensive haircut in town. I dont say cheap, because it was also one of if not the best haircut. I went to Candice, and now have gone to her several times, and she really listens to what I want and helps me get the haircut that fits my hair and face. The price for my son and myself, with shampoo after is only a few dollars more expensive than for just me across the street at M.U.G. with no shampoo.

Beautiful women with great skill. The straight razor does need a little work but Im guessing not a lot people ask for it. I had a cut, shampoo, and straight razor and wish they worked around where I live so that I could go there all the time.

This place is very hit or miss! Its just all luck on which stylist you get that day. Ive had great ones but also REALLY bad ones! If you find a stylist there you like, just stick with her. Because you never know what you might end up with... some are very nice and sweet, others are very rude... also they need to fix the way you tip them. Very awkward telling them how much youre tipping them, especially when they did a bad job....

I have only had good experiences at Lady Janes. I recommend Megan, she always does a great job. If I don’t see Megan I see Julie. These two will not let you down. This place is hit or miss like one reviewers said. I feel bad for the ones that know what they are doing. You girls should find a way to group up and open a quality place for yourself you can do it. 2 out of the 4 times have been horrible. They cut way to short. I could have shaved my head for free if I knew I was getting that haircut. Im done with L.J. Less talking and more concentrating on whats going on. Especially for the cost. Feel like I got totally ripped off with a buzz cut. Beard trim is a Joke and I could have done better myself. I could have made a complaint right then and there, but Im not one to cause a seen. The second star is for the 2 out of 4 times that I felt like I had a quality cut. Bye for good L.J.

Ive gotten my hair cut here a few times and I honestly dont know why I have gone more than once because every time I go it seems like the stylists have no clue what they are doing and just sort of go rogue and do whatever they want with your hair rather than do what you told them you wanted.

Went in expecting a better experience. I think had I gotten a different stylist they would have met my expectations. Bambi gave me the cut ai asked for, but I had to tell her what I wanted 7 or 8 times throughout the cut, and its not a hard haircut. Also sar others getting the hot towel and other things I thought were included here that I didnt get. If I go back Ill update this then.

Just because you put tool boxes and sports pictures up doesnt make it a mens hair cut experience. The stylist seemed unsure of what she was doing, and the shampoo chair was at a very uncomfortable position it really hurt my neck. I will not be returning and will go back to my old barber shop where they suggest what would look best and actually give you the best all around experience. Sorry.

This is my second time at this location and 2 different people have cut my hair, so I can say that the experience have been always positive. The haircut is well done, the staff is courteous and the service in general as well as the facilities are great.

Loved the initial $15 haircut; which was done ok, but then it went to $25 the second time I went in and was done poorly. Crappy haircuts, but you get what you pay for.
