Went on our very first tarpon fishing charter today with Captain R.C. and it was the fishing experience of a lifetime! Within a short period of time, we hooked up with our first tarpon. After a 45 minute fight and some amazing boat maneuvering by the captain, I finally got my first silver king. Captain R.C. was very knowledgeable of the area and so much fun to fish with. My husband is already planning future trips with him. If youre looking for a great charter experience, this is the one for you.

Captain RC is the man! We had other charter plans fall through last minute and Harvest Moon was able to move another group to accommodate my wife and I before we had to leave town. My wife gets seasick so we wanted to stay inshore. The captain told us the inshore bite was terrible and that he would take us sharpon fishing. Even though we got into some small waves, his boat maneuvering skills were great and he made sure we both had an excellent and safe time. We hooked close to 9 sharks in a half day trip, we were exhausted! Plus it was very affordable compared to some of the other guides in the area. We highly recommend.

Had a great day fishing with captain Rich! He knows the area like the back of his hand. We talked to a few other boats out fishing...nobody was catching much. He took us to one of his spots and bam! We fished with Captain Richie today! Nothing short of an AMAZING experience. This was my 3 year olds 2nd fishing charter and Captain Richie was good at entertaining him. He gave us some history about the spots we passed along the way, which made the experience one of a kind. Capt Richie is a seasoned fisherman and he’s very knowledgeable about his surroundings.This trip was a birthday present for my Husband while we are on vacation. I reached out 3 weeks ago to book this trip and Capt Richie was very accommodating. Today, we caught a total of 15 fish (Spot tailed bass, speckled trout, flounder, black drum, pin head and a couple others I can’t remember the name of). We also saw dolphins, a sea turtle, and an alligator! It was quite the experience that I was able to catch on camera! My husband was very surprised with this choice of gift and he thoroughly enjoyed himself, which seeing his face and smile made the whole trip worth it!I can honestly say Capt Richie was a joy to be around ☺️ I look forward to coming back and doing this trip again and again. I promised Captain Richie we’ll be back to see him again and I’ll make good on that promise! Highly recommended and 5 stars! You’re missing out if you don’t get him to take you out on the water.

Capt Richie was fantastic! This was our first fishing charter, 2 adults and 2 children under 10 yrs old. Our goal was to get on some Tarpon and amazingly, we caught a Tarpon within 1 hour of the charter starting. After that we moved to some light tackle targrting smaller fish to get more action for the boys which they really enjoyed as well.Capt Richie is passionate, fun, great with kids and highly knowledgeable.We will certainly be reaching out to Richie again when we are next in the Georgetown area which will be soon.Well done and THANK YOU Capt Richie for an amazing experience.

Sept. 16 - We had a tough day for fishing. Heavy NE wind, rain and a tide that wouldnt go down. Despite the odds Capt Richie did his best to put us on fish. He kept us entertained and tried his best to find the fish. We managed to bring back 3 nice Specks that were good eating! Highly recommend Harvest Moon and will use him again.

Had a great time fishing with Captain Richey. Caught a couple of large sheepshead and several others. Boat and equipment top notch. Had a blast and look forward to doing it again

My family and I came to South Carolina for the first time this week and we really wanted to book a charter fishing trip. Luckily RC was more than happy to take us and even asked what our preference was. Being northerners we wanted to catch sharks and he took us to the perfect spot. My wifes line wasnt even in the water 5 minutes and she had a bite. He talked us through the best method for reeling them in and was even hands on enough to pull them in close enough for pictures. RC was friendly and easy to get along with. We would definitely seek him out if we ever come back.

Captain Richie was amazing! My friends and I were on a girls trip and wanted to go fishing but we had no idea it would be the highlight of our weekend!!! He took us to a great spot and we caught so many fish that we kept him busy! Best fishing trip EVER!!! I plan on bringing my family back to Harvest Moon Fishing Charters next time we head down for the weekend.

We fished with Captain Richie on an inshore charter in early August 2020. Our group included my 5 year-old son for his first fishing charter. Our trip was fantastic in all regards. Captain Richie was incredibly patient and kept my son actively involved the whole time on the water. We caught a good number of redfish and black drum and had a blast the whole trip. I would highly recommend Harvest Moon Fishing Charters!

Picture is our trout dinner sauteed with Italian herbs ,garlic and butter. You were great, we really enjoyed you and the excellent fishing. Jeff and Karen have memories of a lifetime. The four of us ate all the fish, can you believe it? We cant imagine a better Captain and fishing guide. You put us right on the fish and coached us on how to hook and land. Captain Richie knows how to put people on fish!! We had a group of 8 guys down at Pawleys Island for Labor Day weekend, and between two boats doubled up on 100+ pound tarpon within a couple hours of being on the water. Not to mention being in the middle of a feeding frenzy for about an hour while hooking into some redfish as well. 10/10 recommend Harvest Moon Fishing Charters with Capt Richie!

Captain Richie was great! Caught 40lb drum all day and capped the day off with a tarpon! Highly recommend his fishing services and will be returning.
