I have used Brocks fishing and boating services many times to escape the bustle of Charleston in exchange for the peaceful, beautiful coast of Georgetown.Through his charters, Ive walked secluded beaches littered with whelks and oyster shells, seen bald eagles, ospreys, hawks, and egrets, and caught a variety of fish on the jetties, offshore at an artifical reef, and inshore over oyster beds or up tidal creeks. Some of the other memorable wildlife Ive seen on various outings include a school of stingrays swimming upriver, a river otter at a civil-war era shipwreck, sharks jumping out of the water, sea turtles surfacing at the reef, and alligators sunning on the shores. His services are fantastic for wildlife lovers like myself, and for the anglers, Brock will help you clean whatever you catch whether its flounder, weakfish, drums, sea trout, or redfish. One of Brocks best services is shrimping in the fall. He has taught me how to throw a cast net and drive the boat for casting over poles before helping us fill a cooler of the most delicious low country shrimp. Its exciting because you never know what s going to get caught in the net and weve pulled gar, puffer fish, baby sharks, and angel fish on board! After heading the shrimp on the way back over some beers, we even pulled up some blue crab in a trap for dinner.Brock is willing to create a tour for whatever youre interested in. My husband enjoys kiteboarding and Brock even found a spot for him to get out on his kite while the rest of our group walked the beach. He accommodates our water loving dog and finds the best places for him to run and swim off leash.

Went fishing with Captain Brock in June of 2018. Great time catching fish on the Inter-coastal waterway!

Capt. Brock showed our gang of four guys, ages 11 to 76, a great time on the half-day inshore fishing charter. They learned, fished, and enjoyed boating on a day of perfect weather- all thanks to the expertise and easy fun nature of Brock. They caught dinner! highly recommend Captain Brock.

Captain Brock was fantastic. On our half day charter we caught 10 different types of fish. His knowledge on bait, fish and where to go was the finest. In addition, shared a bunch of knowledge about the local waterways and wildlife. In fact we saw a host of alligators and porpoises. We wont use any one else again. Thanks again Captain

Capt. Brock is the best guy in the Georgetown area! Expect a pleasant ride to and from the fish, with stories and local history along the way. In fact, he’s so great, he’s worth double what he charges! Highly recommended if you’re looking to catch fish, search remote islands for shells, or just get on the water to have some fun.

Captain Brock and First Mate Jacquie were spectacular hosts—knowledgeable professionals who are loads of fun. Brock just wouldn’t quit until we had shrimp galore! The day was just perfect and we will plan another boating adventure with them soon.

We had an awesome time with Brock! The bite was slow, but he did everything he could to put us on the fish. Everyone on board caught fish, and we ended up with 8 keepers. A lot of boats around us were not pulling in anything! I have found a new go-to guide for fishing around the Gerogetown area.

Brock is an awesome Captain and all around fun guy to be with. He knows the Georgetown waters like the back of his hand and will make sure you see all the beautiful sites, share his in-depth knowledge of this amazingly-gorgeous low-country area and help you catch your dinner!!! We enjoyed a beautiful August morning starting at 7am sharp, exploring a remote island and then off for some fresh catch at the jetty. Be sure to book your next outing with Brock ~ youll thank yourself and want to come back again real soon! #boatingwithbrock #brockrocks #georgetownwaters
