I recently had rates raised by my previous home owners insurance because of a claim that was done well over a year ago, and couldnt get a rep to respond back to me on why the rates were raised so I decided to shop around. Not only did Castle insurance save me a ton of money (Im talking hundreds a month), they were knowledgeable, friendly, treated me with respect and like family. So when I tried to change my insurance over I called them the 8th of this month my bill not due until the 10th so I figured plenty of time for them to get everything done. She said I needed to send proof I said no problem the next day once I got the proof cards I emailed them . Next thing I know my account is withdrawn 102.98 and then that sends my back to overdraft me by 30 something dollars. I called and tried to talk to the lady but she only tried making me feel stupid and telling me she couldnt give me the full amount because I didnt give her enough heads up and tried giving me some of the money back but keeping about 20 something dollars worth when it shouldnt have been that high for each day so yeah its a cheap company but it probably doesnt cover everything you need and make sure when you stop payments to do it like a week before because I know there a small company and it would see like they have plenty of time to stop payment but clearly they feel they almost need a week even though my insurance card saId effective on that date they felt the need to keep a portion of it and overdraft my account and not even care. I hope this helps someone else because Ive never had any problem with any other insurance.
