Our unit went down so we called Roland Black and Chris was at our door in a very timely manner. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the issue and completed the repair quickly. He explained everything to me in a detailed fashion and wasnt one of those pushy salesman like most people you deal with. With his recommendation, I did sign up for their maintenance program, which is very reasonably priced compared to other companies within this industry. I will absolutely recommend Roland Black and specifically the technician, Chris, to anyone that is needing work done.

Chris came and serviced our AC. He is a very considerate and respectful young man. Upon entering our house he made sure to wear protective coverings on his shoes to protect from carrying dirt in the house even though I told him it was ok, he made sure every time he entered the house that he wasnt tracking anything in on our floors. He took the time to explain to me the importance of changing my filters and gave me knowledge of how the system worked and how regular maintenance saved us money in the future. Roland Black in my experience has outstanding service, fair pricing and I dont see us ever needing a different company or technician.

AC went out on a Sunday night. We had to wait until Friday for the AC to be repaired. The first technician they sent out misdiagnosed the problem so different parts had to be ordered. So we had no AC for a week and it was HOT!! The only cool air we had was a portable unit they gave to us that would only cool one bedroom. They also told us that our Trane warranty may not be covered unless we sign for a service agreement. Overall disappointment with the service. Never had to wait so long for a repair especially in the summer when it is miserably HOT!!!

I have been meaning to write a review. In the early spring, Roland Black installed new ductwork and new gas heating system. They had the best quote and didn’t try to get me to have other, non related services. TheJob was accomplished in less than 2 days. They cleaned up all of the debris from old nasty ductwork. They were very professional and Always on time.I recently had all of my systems checked, and serviced. I have 4. WILL and CHRIS arrived ON time, put on shoe covers when they entered the house, very respectful. They were scheduled from 0800-1200. They worked the entire time, no breaks. Had a problem with A/C not running properly. I called at 8:30 am, tech arrived at 10 am. He was very professional, took time to explain what he was going to do. My options were explained before he did any work. He was very professional and friendly. The prices were fair and he checked the system before he left. I am 100% satisfied.

Roland Black is a top notch company. I have used them for 3 A/C unit installs on 3 houses. I chose them because I wanted a Trane system. I will admit a couple years ago I was worried about staying with them because customer service was not good, the receptionist was not helpful and had the personality of a wet dishcloth. However my faith was revived in them over the past month, we had 2 different issues happen where a unit needed service (my mother whom is 83 years old) and another unit (not installed by them) needed a fan motor repaired. Diane (the receptionist, though I use that term generically) was awesome - she got me an appointment within 24 hours for my mothers unit to be repaired, called before the service tech was dispatched, awesome experience. The tech - Jordan, one of the best techs I have ever met through any of my experiences with service people in general, was prompt, courteous, informative, honest, and I could go on but I will stop, was great. I have had the pleasure of meeting him several times, my install on my new house, my moms repair, and then my fan motor repair. You want find a better A/C tech out there. In closing if you had doubts or a bad experience a couple years ago, give them another try, they have made some changes the past couple years and they are all about the customer again, and I for one have seen and experienced the change. These guys really to like the little guys out there.

Service tech named Taylor came out today and did an excellent job with the job we needed done. I highly recommend them for a reasonably priced service plan and everything included with it. Dangerous! Every morning they create a dangerous situation cutting in the school line. Instead of coming down Academy they almost cause a wreck cutting in line a block from the school. This is dangerous for children walking and those in line that are almost hit with them trying to get in. The least professional thing I have ever seen with obviously no care of others safety. At least I know who not to call since they advertise they have no consideration of others.

One of our furnaces stopped working early one morning about 2 weeks ago. Called Roland Black and they sent Daniel right away. He thoroughly check the problem and our furnace was working quickly. My heat went out during a cold snap it was determined that the unit was no good. Had been having problems with the unit last year but this year it died well I looked online for companys to get a new unit from and came across Roland Black heating & cooling they sent Billy, Daniel and David to install my new unit it was at a reasonable price and the unit is so cute and shiny beside my house and the inside quickly heated up I feel wonderful the guys got in got the old unit out and installed the new unit with efficiency and they took their time to make sure that the unit was installed right and that everything worked the way it should Im proud of the guys Ill have them come back out any time to service my unit. I called late on a rainy Friday afternoon. They were here in less than an hour and fixed the problem so I had heat quickly. They returned on Monday to install a thermostat that I could operate. Taylor and Chris took time to wxplain the functions and made sure I could operate it before they left. Well mannered, efficient, friendly. Im glad this company is my go to for HVAC services.

Our air conditioner died during some of hottest days in September. We contacted Roland Black for an estimate, which happened to be $10,000 cheaper than their competitors. The crew was very professional. 3 individuals stood out. Mark, Nick and Billy went above and beyond to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. 2021: Just had my Fall Service: You can just tell when someone is doing a really good job. Tyler gave our systems a thorough going through. So please with their service.I am a very happy customer. Our AC went out last night and Daniel was here by lunch time to fix the unit. It is an older unit, so I was fearful of what might be needed. Daniel explained everything to me and showed me the parts. I havent worried about being sold unnecessary, expensive items since Roland Black has taken over our service. Daniel did our spring service and then, just as today, he was friendly and professional.
